With deep regret I have to escalate my grievance to you, hope the same wd be taken in right prospect & actions wd be taken to meet the service level expectations of the consumers.

With respect to the above health policies I was offered free health check up coupons, I had put in a request to one of your call centre numbers to fix up for the same on 17th march 2009.
I was assured that my appointment would be confirmed within 48 hrs. Since no one responded I again called for appointment on 22nd and 23rd march 2009, and was again assured by the executives that I would be given an appointment within 24 hrs.

Till date I have not received any confirmations via email or phone call regarding my appointment from your executives

I have been assured by various people about the quality of customer services by icici Lombard health insurance. With these kind of services it raises a doubt in my mind whether this company wd be able to stand by me in case I am in need of services ?

Request you to take this up & resolve the same ASAP.

    SUB: SENIOR CITIZEN USA NATIONAL OLD LADY’S PLEADINGS: FRAUD BY ICICI BANK OFFICIALS; DEPOSITED RS 3 LAC FOR FDR RECEIPT; FRAUDULANTLY WITHDRAWN RS. 1 LAC AND HOTCH-POTCHED; RS 2 LAC FRAUDULANTLY TRANSFERRED TO ICICI PRUDENTIAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE AND CONSENT.



    Sir,

    I have received a complaint from Mrs. Shimla Devi Bhardwaj resident of 10315 CopColn Stockton Californaia (U.S.A.) during her stay in India lives at Nisha Bueauty Parlour, Bansan wala Bazar, Phagwara



    Mrs Shimla Devi has accused the officials of ICICI Bank, Phagwara. She named the Bank officials Miss Vani & Mr. Vivek Sharma who have defrauded the customer Mrs. Shimla Devi in connivance with other Phagwara ICICI Bank Officials of lakhs of rupees.

    She had reported the matter of fraudulent transactions in her account but no action has been taken so far against the fraudulent officials.



    The officials promised to dispatch the documents at her United States address, but they failed to dispatch the same. The bank officials have withdrawn amount of Rs. 2, 00, 000/- and Rs. 1, 00, 000/- hotch-potched by the bank officials. Why not the bank make the inquiry on the particular transactions. Why don’t ICICI officials reply to the representations of American Senior Citizen lady. Why not the statements of the Senior Citizen be recorded and the matter be investigated.



    The ICICI bank officials committed financial fraud with Mrs. Shimla Devi Bhardwaj by asking her to put signatures on blank papers. Though she objected but the concerned officials said that we shall fill the documents later on.



    DETAIL:

    Mrs Shimla Devi Bhardwaj is the resident of 10315 COP COLN STOCKTON CALIFORNIA U.S.A. In year 2005 she came to Phagwara to dispose off her land situated in India. As she had been already operating an Account with ICICI bank Phagwara Branch.

    1. On 2nd April 2005 As she had deposited the amount of her land proceeds in ICICI bank, Phagwara Branch.
    2. On 24th May 2005 she approached the Icici Bank Branch Phagwara to convert the money deposited in bank branch in US dollars and close the account. The balance of the Account was about Rs. 3 Lac.
    3. The dealing officer to whom she requested was bank official Miss Vani to whom she requested to close the account.
    4. On my request Miss vani got furious and contacted Mr. Vivek Sharma. Both of them pressurized not to close the account. They gave her a proposal that we shall issue an FDR to you. In that scheme your money will get doubled in three years. On their pressure she admitted and requested to issue her FDR.
    5. She was given a bundle of papers to sign on which nothing had been filled up. On asking by Mrs. Shimla Devi that these documents are blank why not you get it filled. They said that we shall get it filled later on.
    6. In reply they said don’t worry we shall get those filled up later on and asked her to put signatures on the blank forms. While putting the signatures she says that there are bundle of papaers what sort of the scheme you have. They told that don’t worry we will not wrongly guide you. On their assurance she put signatures on blank papers.
    7. When she demanded the copy of papers. They told that according to our bank’s policy we don’t give any paper or document on the spot will provide the papers to you later on. She said as I shall go back to U.S.A.shortly. They promised to dispatch the papers at U.S.A’s address.
    8. She got the papers after 6months time. In the documents there was a ICICI bank’s cheque book and a receipt of ICICI Prudential. She astonished to get the documents as she had not opted for any sort of Insurance plan. As she could not understand what are those documents.
    9. She made a call to the bank’s branch. The concerned officials don’t reply to her query.
    10. In 2009 she came to India. She is running pillar to post to inquire about her funds from the last two months but no one is there to reply her.
    11. Now the Bank officials says deposit Rs. 6 Lac in Icici Purdential if you like to get refund of your amount. On asking how much. She astonished to note that the Bank officials have made another fraud with her.
    12. The Bank officials told her that she has withdrawn Rs. 1 Lac from her account. She got cheque book after six months. How she withdrawn Rs. 1 lac from her account.
    13. The fraud one they transferred Rs. 2 Lac to ICICI Prudential by dodging her. When no policy no scheme no talk of insurance has been done. Second withdrawn Rs. 1 lac fraudulently from her account.
    14. On 3rd March 2009 she complained to Police to investigate the matter but nothing has been done so far.
    15. On 23rd March 2009 her statement has been recorded but no action has been taken so far.
    16. She extended the return ticket to U.S.A. twice. But nothing has been done so far.

    1. The copy of receipt of deposit of Rs. 3 Lac in Icici bank, Phagwara branch dated 2nd April 2005.
    2. Copy of Application lodged with Phagwara City Police dated 3rd March 2009.
    3. Copy of ICICI Prudential’s receipt dated 24th May 2005
    4. Copy of letter dated March 4, 2009 issued by ICICI Prudential Life insurance Company limited, Product Name Life Time Policy number 01655282. Without any address.     ICICI BANK PHAGWARA’S CONSIDERATION:

    1. Mrs. Shimla Devi has Lodged the complaint to the Phagwara Branch. But the concerned staff deny to receive such a complaint.
    2. Mrs. Shimla Devi says I have deposited the amount in Phagwara Icici branch how it got transferred to Icici prudential without her consent.
    3. ICICI’s officials Mr. Nitish Bansal and other staff members are harassing her.



    It is requested to all to help her in this critical stage. Firstly the foreign national. Secondly the senior citizen who is running from pillar to post to get justice.

      Myself Dr. Neelam Kumari invested Rs.20, 000 by cheque no. 619817 dted 12.1.09 of
      BOB Patna for Life stage assure policy at ICICI bank Patna after long discussion with B Manager(Mr. Alok M.No.[protected]).On 27th Jan I received certificate of LIFE TIME GOLD instead of life time assure .Immediately I contacted bank, they told me by mistake it happened I will correct it shortly. On 10th March I received certificate of LIFE STAGE ASSURE of premium Rs.10, 000 instead of Rs.20, 000. I become fade up with ICICI bank & sent an E-mail to customer service manager to cancel my policy & refund Rs.20, 000 same day.On 14th Mar I received an SMS that cheque of Rs.19286.58 has been sent to you thro courier.Rs713.42 is deducted for NAV loss for your LIFE TIME GOLD policy
      Why my Rs.713.42 has been deducted? When it was due to bank official’s mistake. Is it not a case of cheating?I am mentally very upset with this behavior of ICICI bank.

        My freind made a transfer from Saudi Arabia to my NRI account in india INR58, 747.50.

        So many I send request to transfer money to my correct account but still ICICI is sitting without replaying. Below is email sent by SABB bank to ICICI som many time. ---

        Please refer our payment order dated 08Sep08 for INR58747.50 under ref TT CPMF36776 in favour of Kamaljeet Singh account number[protected] with ICICI Bank, Punjabi Bhagh, New Delhi.

        We have been advised that ICICI Bank has not credited the funds to the beneficiary account so far due to beneficiary account and name differ. Therefore, at the request of the remitter, please send a message to ICICI BANK to amend the beneficiary account number to read as[protected]. All other details remain unchanged.

        Kindly confirm the date amendment applied and avoid all possible duplications."

          Sub: Wrong balance shown in my Savings Account No. [protected]

          I would like to bring to your kind notice the facts given below :

          Till 21 January, 2009 my balance was Rs. 86726.53.

          On 31 January, 2009 I had tried to withdraw the money from ATM if ICICI branch of Okhla branch but could not get the money and ATM Customer Advice also.

          Then (on 31 January, 2009 I had withdrawan a sum of Rs. 2, 000 from ATM of Alanknanda branch of SBI. After withdrawal of money my balance should be 84726.53. ATM Customer Advice is showing balance of Rs. 82706.53.

          Kindly correct the same and Rs. 2, 020 may kindly be credited to my Saving Account. Copies of the cash withdrawal are enclosed for your information.

          For your kind information, I am giving below some particulars of transaction :

            EXPLOITATION / CHEATING OF EXISTING FLOATING RATE HOME LOAN BORROWERS BY ICICI BANK

            DEAR Sirs,

            All the customers who are trapped are feeling cheated and let down by the policy of icici bank to offer the low rates to the new borrows ( TO TRAP THEM) and then applying PLR jugglery in such a way leading to EXPLOITATION / CHEATING OF EXISTING FLOATING RATE HOME LOAN BORROWERS. Their rate of interest for existing borrows is 3 to 4 % higher than the SBI rate as if they are operating in different markets / countries. They are charging hefty amount for closure / shift of loan to SBI.
            PL. WAKE UP WAKE UP STAND OUT RAISE YOUR VOICE AND SWEAR TO BRING ICICI BANK TO ANSWER TO PUBLIC IN BEING UNFAIR TOWARDS EXISTING HOME LOAN FLOATING RATE BORROWERS.

            SOLUTION-
            1.Pl spread the word to all near and dear so that they are not trapped with icici loan.
            2. I am planning to shift to SBI 8% and fully transparent govt. bank
            ICICI Bank is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. With such extortionist policies, the bank is doomed . It will not be long when the customers realise this cheating attitude and discard this bank totally.

              I'm getting undue harassment due to quoting of my mobile no.               Dear Sir / Madam,

              My name is manish verma and i had your ICICI bank Credit card which i was used long time back due to some financial problem. Now this time i want to pay my dues of same Credit Card in instalment because still i am in some financial crises but i am ready to pay in instalment in INR 2000.00 per month. Now i am getting call from your recovery department from (Mr. Virendra, Mr. kapil and Mr Sanjay) and i am trying to say him that i can pay in INR 2000.00 instalment every month but they are threating me and call to my Manager with abusing and wrong word, now this time situation is depend on my JOB, if i don't have JOB then how can i pay the instalment. Mr. Virendra Theating me that we can do any think with you if you'll not pay money this is serious matter.

              Please check with your recovery department they want to do anything wrong with me.

                Dear Sir,

                I had taken the ICICI credit card in[protected]. The card limit was Rs.36, 000/- and the bank saying that i have purchased the amount of Rs. 48.000/-. Which is as per me is not true. at that time i stopped paying the payment of ICICI credit card. After that i have lost my job and went to a critical finance condition. In between they have toucherd me and my family so much of time. currently i had worked with the Subhiksha Trading company for 1.5 Years. and from oct 2008 we din't received our salary till date. at present my financial condition is very poor. I m married and i have one doughter also, this people is still sending me telegram that they are going to get me in court otherwise pay Rs. 40, 000/- if you want to survive. My answer to them that i can not pay this much of money to you, pls make it reduced to 12, 000 to 15, 000 so can arrange by me, but they are not ready and still tourchering me and my family. pls help.

                  Hounorable Sir,

                  This is regarding my EMI payment towards use of ICICI credit card use. I was suppose to pay 12 EMI of Rs.3553/= and I paid them regularly. An EMI of Rs.3553/= of 28th Feb 07 was confirmed by the bank and issued me payment statement. Since then they allowed the interest to go up and after 2 years they conveyed me that the cheque no. 274900 aforesaid dated was PDC. From time to time I was in touch with the bank officials via email along with the payment reciept attachment to help them to understand the problem. But all was in vain. Very recently I warned them that I would be bringing this matter to the attention of Consumer Forum. Now they ask me to prove it by providing the bank statement. I have all the supporting proof with me.

                  Sir, I hope that the bank is non-conforming the ISO certification as regard to their quality of banking services. They had sent the recovery agent to my Baroda home but when I shown him the payment statement he went back unarguably. Now I am fed up with their calls.

                  May I be hopeful to get the justice from you?

                    I am Holding ICICI BANK Credit card No. [protected] & three others linked to it……….

                    I am now very much fed up with ICICI bank Customer care.

                    They always make false promises, commitments and will never provide us the call reference number for our discussion which we had on Phone banking…………

                    (also at least you have to wait for 5 minutes before you get line to Executive)

                    In Feb 09, I converted few transactions into 3 months EMI’s (as per phone banker executive, only processing fees will be charged, no interest will be charged).

                    On the same day of conversion, I saw they have charged Interest +service tax on each transaction, I called them on the same day and I was told when my statement on 14th march would be generated, these interests would be credited in your account……..)

                    On 14th march 09, when I saw my generated statement, I was shocked, the amounts were not credited……….again I called them and again I was told that ICICI bank had made the mistake & will correct the statement & send it to me in one week, when I requested Reference no. of that discussion, nothing was provided……………..



                    Till today I haven’t received any reply, so I called again on18th March 09, now I spoke to Ms.. Pranita, & finally I was told these interests cannot be credited back in my credit card………………………&hel... She told me few wrong facts why they have charged interests but when i answered she at the end told me this is correct & cannot waived OFF...IF this is wrong why cant they delete that...also i think ICICI have taken a contract to foolish their customers?



                    Now what should I do………………I will pay any amount only when this would be settled & will have a satisfactory reply………………………&he...

                    I also let you know that there must not be any Finance/late payment charges in next month if they are late in sending me fresh statement of 14th march 09, after adjusting these wrong interests charged………………………&...





                    If now any false commitments are made, I will be forced to put this case in court……………..& will not pay any thing………………..

                    If they do still not believe on the facts stated above, I would like to hear the conversatation I had with customer care executive on phone banking……………….as I think they recorded all the conversations……………….



                    Hope to have the immediate reply………………………&he...



                    Also you I am holding HDFC bank & HSBC bank Credit cards but never never had a problems like I had in ICICI bank………………….and the transactions are much higher than ICICI bank………………and also the payments are timely done………………………..

                    I have purchased Ibal laptop Rs. 30, 000/-(1000 paid through cheque PNB) and Balance through ICICI credit card Rs. 29000/- on 12.11.08 vide Order No.[protected] through EMI Rs4485/- but after ten month you are debited my ICICI Credit Card account without my information or any notice, meanwhile my Other EMI is going on, aprox Rs.2400 per month- So Total EMI Rs. 6, 500/- That is not as per my earning capability.In case i had known that after ten month you will start process for payment through emi without any prior information to me i would not have made other emi unless pay you complete payment.Now you debitb 600 as late payment and 360 as interest in every month to my acoount Beacause i am not able to pay a complete emi in a single month.Therefore You please do not debit late payment and interest to my accout till dec 09 so that i can be able to pay you full and final amount till dec 09.Otherewise will have to go to Consumer form because i can not be able to pay this much amount .Because there is totally foult from your side .

                      I lost my job n couldn't pay my outstanding bills, so the collection agent first forced me over the phone n then came over to my residence n misbehaved n used foul lanuage with me n my wife. Also after lodging an FIR with the local police station, no action has been taken so far.

                      Please advice.

                      im having credit card number [protected] since Jul 2007. i have been regularly paying the minimum required amount or sometimes clearing the entire amount with no interference of the CC division or its representatives. however in sep 08 my credit amount was sizeable abt 11000/- and i told the agent one Mr Chiranjeev (Mob:0 [protected]) tht i would pay the minimum amount. however due to my being posted to MAINPURI i was unable to do so. i rang Mr Chiranjeev on a couple of occasions and asked him to tell me the amount i hv to pay but he never had courtesy to reply me even once. due to pressure of work i was unable to clear any further amount. i assumed tht normal int would be charged from me. imagine my surprise and dismay when a massive amount of 18365/- was debited from my account without my consent on 28/04/2009. i contacted the branch manager who confirmed it was against my credit card outstanding. Further on 30/05/2009 a sum of 6997/- was again debited again from my account without my consent.
                      i am told tht my total outstanding is almost 30000/- against a limit of 15000/- of which 3000/- is cash. this limit was reached in oct/nov 2009.
                      that means in a period of 3 months you have charged me 100% interest. Even moneylenders donot charge such exorbitant interest.

                          I, Dr. Mahesh Vilas Mane, had taken a Housing Loan from ICICI Bank Ltd, in year 2006, for purchase of house. The Loan amount then was 32 Lakhs (approx. including home secure insurance plan). The interest rate when I took loan was 9.75%. Gradually this interest rate was hiked to 13.5% by January 2009. After RBI ( reserve Bank of India) revised the interest rates for home Loans I enquired the customer care about revision of my interest Rates..They asked me to Pay Rs.59000(approx.) as Conversion charge to revise the interest rate which then will be about 11.5%.
                          The other option they tell me is that if I invest Rs.1 lack per year for 3 yrs, for which they will pay interest of 14.5%, I will have to pay Rs.16000 only.
                          I when asked the person concerned for what these charges stand for, the person told me that they are against the losses the bank is going to incur with the revision of interst rates.
                          I have following doubts regarding this :
                          1. Is this conversion rate a universal for all banks or is it only for ICICI Bank Ltd.?
                          2. Is it legal to charge the customer for changes in interest rates that are usually under regulation byRBI?
                          And Bank probably has no economic burden for these changes.
                          And if it does why there was no such charge been asked for when the Bank had to increase the rate
                          of interst.
                          3. Is it not the Banks duty to inform the customer about the change in interest rates, when it drops down.
                          Rather they will send letters and executives to the customer when there is increse in the interest rate.

                          My complain against the bak is that it is charging unnecessarily to the customer for the reduction in the interest rates which it has reduced as per RBI guidelines.
                          Please advice me regarding further mode of action.

                          ICICI Bank Ltd — Home Loan Interest Rates

                          When I took this loan, I was offered interest rate of 8.5%, However it was increased whenever there was an increase in interest rate, since this being on floating rate of interest. Now recently when bank has slashed the interest rates, they have not decreased my interest rate. When I complained for that at the call centre, they say that low interest rate is only for new customers and if I want that interest rate I have to pay swtich charges, that would be probably 2% of the loan amount.

                          Now my question is that, if they have increased the interest rate then how come they have not paid me switch charges? how they can do like this, they are cheating not only me but millions of customers.

                          If I see my interest rate chart then it has increased everytime interest rate was increased but it was never decreased when they announced slash in interest rates.

                          I took loan in Year 2003 and Bank has explained the advantage of Flexi Interest Rate and told that it is as per RBI Norms.

                          They hiked the interest charges upto 13.5 % in due course of time and when I asked why they increased bank informed due to hike in PLR (Prime Landing Rate)?

                          When bank increased so fast why bank is not reducing the interest rate, when they are offering 9.75% to new customers.

                          is bank has no rule and nobody even RBI can not ask them to reduce interest rate?

                          Or their any hidden clause which they do not explained the customer at the Time of taking the Home Loan.
                          i want to know is there any guideline in RBI rules where it says maximum rate on interest one bank can charge from debtor, even am also one of the sufferer, i took loan from Barcley bank as business loan while taking that they says the interest qill not cross the 15% but now then charging more then 18%, i want to take legal action agaist bank but am not getting any law or rules where it says the maximum rate will be this, what can i do now
                          Please file complain with Banking Ombudsman but he will say that there is nothing unusual and it is their commercial practive but then you have to file an appeal against the ombudsman with the Dy Governer of Reserve Bank of India, Customer Service Department, Amar Building, Sir P.M.Road, Fort, Mumbai and Dy Governer will take up the matter with RBI and is supposed to get the interest rate reduced.

                            I have been calling the ICICI call centre for the details of my credit card which i need to discuss with the phone banking officer. Every time, they are telling that the system is down so that they are unable to call me. It takes about 10 mintutes to reach the phone banking officer and then they say that they are unable to help us. What a useless system.. If the system is down then they should inform immediately when the phone connects to them rather than wasting our time.
                            Also the system of redemption of reward points is very confusing and un clear.

                              Please do not trust ICICI bank - The reasons

                              1. When i took home loan in 2005 the floating rate of interst was 7.5% and par with any other leading private banks - now see ICICI charging interest at 13 %. This is more than 30% higher than any competative private bank rate

                              2. Why ICICI charging more interest rate - simple reason to recover their losss in sub prime and other high risk investments

                              3. What staturory agencies are doing - well every know what was happend in satyam eposide - as long you keep political bosses happy - not worry about any other issues

                              4. ICICI is the first bank to raise home loan interest rate to highet - 13.5% than any other private bank operating in india, and now charging same interest rate to existing customers despite many private banks come down to 10%

                              5. Worst and Poor curstomer services - you will not get proper and correct response or solution to you quries thru mail or over phone - always some generic mail content or generic response over mail

                              One last input - it my guess at this point of time - might be true in coming day - please do not invest in ICICI and do not consider for Loan or investment or for any banking operations - simple reason - it might be another satyam in indian banking sector in very near future .

                                Sub: Credit Card bill payment through Internet not getting credited in credit card account.
                                Dear Sir,
                                The last bill for the above mentioned credit card was generated on 16th Oct 2012 and the due date of payment for the same was 4th Nov 2012. To avoid the late payment charges the payment of `6000/- was made well in advance on 2nd Nov 2012 (Transaction Details enclosed). The amount of `6000/- was debited from my savings account however, the same was not credited to the credit card account.
                                I made a call to your customer care department on 2nd and 3rd Nov 2012 and explained the situation. The customer care department explained that there is problem going on with internet bill payment and assured me that the payment will be reflected in the credit account within 2 working days. However, the payment got re-credited in my savings account on 5th Nov 2012 (Transaction Details enclosed)
                                Again I called your customer care department on 6th Nov and explained that the payment got
                                re-credited. The customer care asked to make the payment again and assured me that no late payment fee will be levied. I made the payment of `3000/- on 6th Nov 2012 and the same also got re-credited to my savings account on 8th Nov 2012.
                                The service requests were put up on 6th and 8th Nov 2012 but still the problem was not solved. Finally I was forced to make the payment through ATM on 9th Nov 2012.
                                During this whole process I kept in touch with your customer care department and explained them the problem with the payment. Wherein I was assured that no late payment fee will be levied for no fault at my side. However the bill for this month has been generated on 16th Nov 2012 and late payment charges have been accounted on the credit card.
                                I would like to bring to your notice that due the problem at your end I am not going to pay any late payment charges.
                                I request you to make the necessary amendments in the bill and revert at the earliest.
                                This is for your information and necessary action.

Then next day on 20.11.08 I had received call from [protected] to pay full & final amount sum of Rs. 1784.00 Rs. I had paid it same day...
                                      Then Every Month I am receiving the Same Statement of Payment of Credit Card.. As already closed. I had received last Satetement of Rs.4006.34 on 09.03.09
                                      On Saturday @ 9.45am I have called on[protected] for this matter from Mob No.[protected] for about 5 minutes .. Now Always ICICI Credit Card Division hesitate me to pay this bill..

                                      So, I want to know, why I should pay this amount sum of Rs. 4006.34 ...So, Pls. Let me give judjement..
