ICICI Direct has approached me again to submit my account opening form, failing to do so they have said that they will de-activate my trading and DMAT account. This is the second time they are asking me to re-submit the account opening form in the last 4 years. They keep loosing my details and ask me to sign the forms and submit all the proofs again. I am tired of doing this one, i want SEBI to take strong action against them.

I have also faced same issue. ICICI has lost my papers and is asking me to resubmit my account opening form. This is ridiculous. How can they loose the papers like this? I think SEBI should take actions them

I am undergoing the same issue with ICICI now. My De-Mat account has been deactivated. I find it totally unacceptable that I am being penalised for ICICI losing my forms repeatedly.

It would be excellent if SEBI takes strict action against them.

I have experienced the same annoying issue with ICICIdirect. They have de-activated my demat account though the account opening form has been twice submitted. I want SEBI to take stern action on ICICIdirect in this regard.

    I have been following my payments for the last 5 years... and ICICI Bank has failed to make the payment. I am shocked that they have been unable to make a duplicate chque for 6 laks in 3 years. Either they do not want to make the payments or they do not have the money to make payments.

    I even escalated the matter to the GM level... Also brought the matter to the auditors B S R & Co ( KPMG)

    Nothing has happened.
    The ICICI Bank is not paying is vendors in time and also the profits seems to be inflated. M/s BSR and company the auditors should have looked into the matter. the Institute of Chartered Accountants should interveen or there would be another Satyam in the waiting

      Dear sir,
      i want to make a complaint regarding PL w hich i hve taken, for the last 2 months i am getting threating calls with absucive language by a man called saurav whose no. [protected] and today i am really sorry to state he have called my sister and absuve also, it is dishearting that such a big bank have employed these type of people, my a/c no. is LPDEL[protected].i want to repay back the money which i have taken but not in this manner, i strictly want someone shld look in this epsisode.

        Errors in Online FundTransfer

        I have been the recent victim of the online transfer facility with ICICI. I am sure most of the customer (including myself) are enjoying this option. But it is error pron, especially with ICICI-ICICI account transfers. All you need is the account number. It does not matter what is the account holder name (it won't verify mapping of account number to name even in the back ground) or branch (no IFSC code required). After entering the account...

        I wanted to close this credit card no.[protected] because I was not liable for the amount due on it.

        Only payment done on behalf of this card was my electricity bill which actually I had asked to debit from my Salary A/c with ICICI. So, I was not knowing that my electricity bill was getting debited from this card as I was not getting any statements at my residence for first 3 months.

        Although, I have already paid Rs.650/- which was paid as electricity bill on behalf of this card from January’2008 to March’2008 also one more transaction of Rs.2600. Since, then I am requesting ICICI to close this card but its difficult to speak to a phone banking officer of credit cards division as whenever I dial I go to some credit card pin generation department and i am again asked to go to main menu, so finally i wrote a letter to ICICI, Hyderabad alongwith the enclosure of diagonally cut Credit card on November 21, 2008 and i got a call also from Hyderabad that this card is closed and even this credit card details vanished from my internet banking page, so i thought this issue is finished but till date i am receiving credit card statements at my residence, i thought that this will stop after some months but today April 1, 2009 ICICI have freezed the amount of 6830.16 on account of this credit card from my salary account which on whole is penalty mounted up month after month.

          Sir, My self Jagadish sai vanarasu, Iam having ICICI bank gold credit card. i was received credit card on 20 october-2008.
          since november iam wating to purchase laptop at the time customer care said that minimum 3 months required to for choosing the emi option.
          I was purchased dell laptop amounting rupees 37026 on 18 march 2009,
          before purchaseing i was cotacted the customer care department, I want to convert my transaction into EMI, then customer care executive said that, you can purchase & you can convert into EMI.

          Then i was purchased, next day 19 march-2009. i was again contacted to customer care dept regarding emi conversion option, at that time executive was saying that, there is no emi option to your card, then i put a complaint in customer care dept, Next day on 20 March i had received call from ICICI Credit Cards Head Offiice Mumbai, one executive saying that your transaction can convert into emI for 9 months as 4114 EMI + 4200 interest, then i was agreed for the EMI plan.

          again I was contacted the customer care executive on 22 march for confirmation, then executive said that you have 21 days from purchaseing time to convert EMI plan, and you have already receieved call from head office, till your EMI table not updated into your account wait for some few days.

          after that on 29 march, i was contacted to the customer care executive, then he said we server problem call after some time, he did not any reply, on 4 the april I was contacted with customer care executive
          then he was said to me, there is no EMI fecility to your card, because you are not did any transaction. you have to do minimum 2 to 3 transactions & statements need to prepare they are saying sorry to me.

          sir please help me in this out, ICICI bank playing with customers,
          if EMI fecility is not there, then why they are encourage the customers for purchasing.
          customer care dept Providing false information to the customers,
          Mis handling the customers, sir its completely worst serives to the customers,
          sir please guide me in this regard waiting for your favourble reply
          my objective is no other customer will face these kind of problems

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I will like to raise the subject o[censored]nfair trade practices followed by ICICI bank in Ref to my Loan A/C LBDEL [protected].

            The Issue this when I took the Loan (2005) it was offered to my @ 7.25% Floating and ICICI representatives promised that their PLR is Linked to the RBI Rate and will follow similar trend to RBI. ICICI bank at that time had the ICICI PLR 8.75% with dicount of 1.5%, my Floating rate at the time worked out to be 8.75-1.5=7.25%. During[protected] RBI has been guiding the industry for interest rates to go up and here ICICI bank was forthcoming to follow RBI guidelines and increased their PLR and hence my Floating rate also increased to around 13%.

            This is fine as long as ICICI bank PLR follows the same trend as RBI, however when RBI started drive the industry to reduce interest rates down, ICICI bank didn't follow the guidance rather than reducing their PLR in line with RBI, they started increasing the discount % to new customers. Thus trapping the old customers to their unfair trade practice to abstract maximum profitability from the existing customers.

            When I took the loan it was based on the Trust that ICICI PLR will follow the similar trend to that of RBI, this is hence breach of Faith of the customer. Banking institutions as supposed to be honest and transparent, when I took the loan or for that matter any other customer start any relationship with the bank, this relationship is based on TRUST.

            I will hence Like to raise some questions, this is extremely important issue and like me many others are experiencing the same issue and difficulty:

            1. Is it not unfair that bank offers different discount % on their PLR ?
            2. What's the Logic of Floating Rate of Interest if the PLR doesn't follow the Regulatory Guidelines, RBI in this Case ?
            3. Is is not unfair trade practice to milk existing customer (who are trapped) and be competitive through increasing discount factor to new customer's ?
            4. Why an existing customer have to pay more interest (way too high) not in line with current industry rate Regulated by RBI ?
            5. Current Loan rate offered by SBI is 8% while I am still being charged @ 12.25% by ICICI is it Fair to pay 4.25% ADDITIONAL INTEREST ?
            6. If Bank despite many repeated requests doesn't act to reduce ROI, why customers should be liable to pay forclosure money 2.25% of Principal outstanding ?
            7. Under the condition that Bank is non competitive customers should be able to change over with other bank without paying forclosure fee. Why not ? this will make banks behave and offer competitive ROI in line with market / industry.

            I am feeling cheated by ICICI bank simply because when I took Loan Loan Account LBDEL [protected] ICICI bank had offered me loan @ 7.25% floating (2005) and was one of the most competitive banking loan rates offered at that time. Overtime the market situation and RBI guidelines on PLR pushed my rates to very high 13% or around. While ICICI bank was very forth coming & proactive following RBI guidelines when the rates were increasing and my rate of interest (ROI) was increased from 7.25% to 13%, the attitude of the bank has been completely different when RBI is directing the rate of interest go downward. ICICI is hence acting in to abstract maximum profitability from customer who were trapped by not lowering the rate !
            It is very unfortunate that bank behaves in this selfish manner, hike the rates whenever the Govt / RBI guidelines advise however when the guidelines turn the other way (Reduce ROI) ensure not to pass on the benifit to customer and abstract profitability from trapped customer's. Completely ignoring RBI guidelines.

            This compliant is being sent with hope that someone will act as this is extremely important topic for so many people who are being trapped and bank is milking profitability from them, even demanding 2.25% forclosure fee in case they try to switch.

            ICICI Bank — Interest Rates too High and keeps on increasing for existing customers

            I took home loan from ICICI which was sanctioned on 02/10/2003 @7.25% as Pre-EMI and then started @8.00% for the actual emi (07/02/2005). Right now its showing interest rate as 14% from next month onwards. I think this is one of the highest interest rate by any bank for their existing customers. When I communicated with ICICI bank they are telling this is the standard market interest rate whereas other banks are offering home loans @11.5 to 12 for new customers.

            Can someone please let me know what can I do?
            ICICI officials are just misguiding the people of India. Mr KV Kamath has spoken several times in the media that ICICI will reduce interest rates in next month or so and when the time come they keep postponing it. This time Miss Chanda Kochar said it will take more than 6 months for interest rate cuts to happen. The bank which has just reduce 50 bps when the RBI has reduce the repo rate by almost 500 bps, will not reduce the rates in the future. My dear friends think about the future when the interest rate cycle starts moving upwards and RBI starts increasing the rate, the ICICI will not hesistate in further increasing the PLR, the existing customers who are paying 11-13% will have to pay even more. The ICICI existing customers has no option but to transfer there loans to some good psu banks or stop paying money there EMI. The ICICI will suck so much money even selling your house after 20 years will not fetch you that amount. So be wise, admit your blunder and react fast without second thought. This bank is the financial terrorist of India.
            The ICICI is never going to reduce the lending rates for existing customers. They are the biggest cheat in the country. KV Kamath, the ICICI head and CII president is the number one crook...he speaks in the public that banker should reduce the interest rates, but his bank never reduce rates. There cheap strategy is to give loan at low rates to new cutomers and increase thereafter immediately after some months. They are openly cheating the customers of India. This is really pathetic that both RBI and Govt does not take action against there crook activities. The best think is all the customer of ICICI should protest aginst the bank in the front of RBI building, this will force the RBI to hear the ICICI customer problem and media will also get active. All the ICICI Home Loan Customers should transfer there loans to public sector banks. I know the ICICI create problems if someone tries to transfer there loans to other banks.

            Everytime ICICI management says, we are watching the liquidity situation and will review the rates later on and then they never reduce the rates. This is just to divert the attention of the customers and the media. Irony, is that the KV Kamath says different thing and Chanda Kochar says opposite of that. This is because KV Kamath is the head of CII, he always says good thing but never delivers that. Funny part is he is saying banks should reduce rates, but his ICICI is not reducing the rates. I dont understand, why the cost of funds are not coming down for these private banks despite huge Repo Rate and CRR cuts by the RBI. They are just fooling everyone and earning huge interest income by not reducing the interest rates.


            Chanda Kochar is also following the path of KV Kamath to cheat the borrowers and harrass them with there crook activities and policies. They will never give relief to the home loan customers. This bank has crossed all there limits, they were the first to increase the rates after the RBI rate increases and that too the steepest in the industry. I remember they increase the home loan rates from 9% to 13% from (2006 October- 2008 July) the highest in the industry, even the HDFC was having the 11.75% maximum. They are treating the customers as there bonded labours. HDFC increased there PLR by 2.25% but ICICI increased it by 4%. No as on April 4, 2009 HDFC has reduced there PLR by 1% and ICICI by only .50%.

            God can only save the ICICI existing cusotmers.
            They are cheater & don't follow any govt. rules & guidelines. Getting unjust enrichment at the cost of existing customer. Even I have also Housing Loan with these people & complaint to them many a times but getting standrad reply all the time. Is there any agency in India who can give justice to the ICICI Customer.

            Recently I went to the bank for foreclosure for which they demanded 2.25 % forclosure charges . Which i had paid to get a rid from this Bank

            Secondly, ROI - I was paying was of 12.5 % ( old coustomer sience 2005 @ with saction of 8% floting rate which was hiked to 13 .5 within 2 year )
            while the new coustomers are getting it with 8.5 % = ? . this indicates that ICICI is adopting unfair trade practice ...

            I.C.I.C.I — Unfair interest rate on credit cards

            My previous credit card statement dated May 26, 2010 had an outstanding balance of 12,674 (approx.) and the payment due date was June 12, 2010. I paid Rs.12,000 via check and it was debited from my bank account on June 8, 2010. The balance of approximately Rs. 674 was carried forward. However, when I received my latest I.C.I.C.I. bank credit card statement dated June 26, 2010. An interest of Rs. 737.92 was reflecting on my statement along with a service charge of Rs. 76.01.

            Now, I have a concern here, how can the credit card company charge Rs. 737.92 as interest when my outstanding amount was just Rs. 674 (approx). This is quiet unfair as I am not ready to pay an interest of Rs. 737.92 on Rs. 674 and that too just for a month. As per the terms and conditions, if total amount due is not paid before the payment due date; interest would be charged on the total amount due and on all new transactions till such time as the previous outstanding amounts are not paid in full. The terms and conditions are unfair and misleading. Though after a lot of follow up calls, they have reversed the interest amount. However, I want to bring into notice the unfair terms and conditions.

            MY HOME LOAN A/C OF ICICI BANK IS LBBMT[protected]-LN . SINCE LAST 4 YRS I PAID REGULAR INSTALLMENTS AGAINST 5,56,000/- RS. (6091/- RS/MONTH).               HI,
              I had applied to open a saving account in icici bank (kolkata) on 17/03/2009 with cash. For some verification reason it was declined. So i was suppose to get the money back, i was told that i would get the refund withen 3 days, but till today(06/04/2009) i had not recieved my money back. I m not getting proper response by the bank. Therefore Please advise me what action to be taken next.

                Greetings,
                I Mr. Mihir Gunderia is holding a credit card ([protected]) of ICICI bank from past 8 years. I have been making regular payments on this card . Last year 2008 March, during one of the billing cycle I found false interest charges been levied against my card for which I launched a complain to bank on the call center number. The CC department assured me the reversal of those charges which never happen.
                Subsequently, ICICI reduced my credit card limit and started charging over limit charges. I was shocked to see such kind of open fraud on my account. From the next billing cycle, ICICI started charging exorbitant interest on same which I denied to pay and was making regular payments of only the purchases that I made on this card.
                I parallel, I complained the bank about the charges and they always assured me to reverse the same once I make the payment of the current billing. Inspite of making payments, Credit card department never reversed the charges as they were receiving their regular payments. This went for almost 4 to 6 billing cycle after which I was forced to stop making payments on my card.
                I started receiving a threaten calls from number of persons including a guy call Vijay who claims to be an employee ICICI Bank CC department and belongs to JB Nagar Branch, Andheri East, Mumbai branch. As per him, if do not make the payments, bank will send so called recovery agents to my place, and break my head and also beat my family members. He and his fellows have been calling my Mother and other family members at odd times (after 8.00 PM) and threaten them to fail the breaks of my car or kill me in an road accident.
                Not only this, some people from the same branch have been coming to my home and banging doors / ringing door bells and then getting disappeared by the time someone opens the door. Over the phone, they have been using abusing language to my mother and wife for which I have all the supported telephone recordings.
                Every time, I tried to approach the bank to resolve the issue, I have to repeat the entire problem to as many as 18 to 20 different people as they have no synch between them. Every person who comes online claim that he is authorize to resolve the issue and then it goes in a cold freeze.
                Because of the above incident, almost 5 months have been wasted and I have lost my valuable time, trust and self-respect
                On 3rd April 09, it came as a surprise to me that the bank have put an lean on my Corporate Salary savings accounts as per the instruction of credit card department. I was never been informed or intimated for such act. I have not signed any authority letter which gives the bank or credit card department right to freez my account and force me to make the payments of my card without resolving the issue.
                As per my information, this is against the Consumer Protection act. I request you to help me in removing the lean from the account. My financial commitments related to EMI’s of vehicle, education and housing loan gets deducted from the same account. Not only this, I being the bread winner of the family and this being the only supporting account, I am left with no other option but to approach you for help.
                Looking for cooperation and removal of lean ASAP

                ICICI Credit Card — Icici illigaly make card and lean SB account

                this is in need of your help regarding the problem facing from ICICI BANK,



                Sir I have open an saving bank account with ICICI bank on October 06 this is my salary account provided by my employer , after two month bank created a fraud Credit card with name of BIPIN PAPRASAD and sent it to my address my name is BIPIN PRASAD, I never sign for any credit card application for with ICICI bank,

                Just afraid of misuse I accept this card and used I was regularly paying the amount outstanding to this card suddenly after few month bank has stop sending ledger to me and started laving several charges on this credit card, I approach the bank regarding the statement and discuss regarding the payment I sent mail regarding the closer of this card but all goes useless I had approach the bank to settlement of this card but bank intention was to make customer helpless I have got several threat from bank collection agent they told me that if I pay 6000 they will sattel this account I had paid 3000 in the month of aug 09 after 2 month I got call from bank that this card can not be close because I am regularly paying the due amount Than I stop paying for 3 month within 3 month time my Saving account has been put under lean and taken back 22658 rupees from my savings My daughter school fees cheque has been disowners by ICICI bank

                  Hi Sir,

                  In the last 1 year, I went through financial cruch and because of that I couldn't make regular payments on my both cards but prior to that, I was making regular payments.
                  Now recently I got a job and I am out of country.

                  Collection Agency : There is a guy from ICICI Collection agency called Abhijit Shinde (+91 [protected]) came to my home around 8.00 pm which is not allowed as per RBI rules and regulations.
                  Prior to that there was a another guy called Umesh ( from ICICI collection Agency) reached at my home after 10.00 pm which is also not allowed at all and he claimed that Bank guys can come at any time even at 1.30 AM.
                  Mr. Abhijit Shinde claims that I abused his guy Umesh which is absolutely wrong.
                  He also said that he will cancel my VISA. Threatened me " forget about the bank and money. He will come and see me or harass both me and my wife on personal front"
                  Me and my wife are completely harrased by this treatment from ICICI bank Collection agents.

                  We both had bad time in the past and because of that we couldnt make payment in last few months but prior to that we were making regular payments to bank.

                  I intend to make payment to bank but they will have to give me some time and I will definitely settle the accounts which I have with ICICI.

                  In this particular situation, I am completely clueless that what should I do cause I am out of country and I wanna take precaution for my wife because I am sure these guys from ICICI back Collection agency are not good and they might go upto any level to harass me and my wife.

                    We have been banking with you with abovesaid current Account.

                    This is to bring to your notice that we had issued cheque no. 317393 dated 30-01-09 of amount Rs. 1, 74, 253/- to Manish Sawhney. Upon coming to our knowledge of theft of instrument from the drop box of HDFC Bank, Rajouri Garden Branch, New Delhi, where the same was presented by Manish Sawhney, we sent a letter dated[protected] for stop payment. The copy of the Cheque is attached as Annexure A, copy of FIR filed by HDFC Bank is attached as Annexure B and our letter dated[protected] as Annexure C.
                    However, we were informed by you that Cheque got cleared on[protected] before your making necessary entry in the system for Stop Payment. We were more shocked to see the Statement of the next date which mentioned that the aforesaid Cheque has been cleared in the name of Ravi Gupta.
                    Upon taking up the matter with you for clearance of the cheque in some other name, we were informed after repeated follow-ups that your RPC has apparently cleared and then recorded remarks as “payee name alteration is not visible to the naked eye nor under the UV lamp” and were later informed that your RPC has taken up the matter with presenting Bank for refund of money. Now, it is more than 30 days since we last heard from you in the matter.
                    We understand that cheque has been cleared by your RPC without performing due diligence as is evident from the copy of the Instrument that there were visible and obvious alterations in the name on the instrument wherein the name was changed from Manish Sawhney to Ravi Gupta and the statement that the changes were not visible with naked eyes is based on wrong founding. The copy of the altered Cheque is attached as Annexure D.
                    We have noted the following deficiencies in services from you:
                    1) A late entry in the system resulting in clearance of Cheque before necessary entry in the system.
                    2) Clearing of the Cheque in name other than the name in which it was issued.
                    3) No confirmation from you on refund despite repeated follow-ups even after more than 45 days from the clearance of the said cheque in wrong name.

                      Dear ICICI Bank Cards:

                      I have a number of complaints and requests in regard to the above cards and your service and would grateful if you could address these as best you can.

                      1) In regards to Platinum Identity card No. [protected]

                      Early in March I received a call from your marketing company or yourselves offering me a “Signature” Platinum card and mentioning various benefits that would accrue if I subscribed to this card. In particular they offered 50% discounts on dining in leading hotels (I understood in the city where I stay Bangalore), insurance coverage and a lower rate of interest. I accepted the offer and authorized them to charge my account for Rs 2000 enrollment fee and Rs, 750 as a yearly charge.

                      When the card arrived late in March I noticed it was not a Signature card but a Platinum Identity Card. I also phoned your Customer Service executives and was told that none of the insurance benefits mentioned in the booklet were available to me as these were extra services that needed to be paid for. I remonstrated that I had paid for these services and the booklet specifically offers them. Your executive took my number and said she would call back to clarify, but as yet has not done so.

                      As this is not the card that I was offered I refuse to accept the Platinum Identity card and ask that you reverse all charges made on this account and compensate me for the total waste of time that this exercise has caused me due to your misrepresenting your product in the course of your phone sales.

                      In this connection I would add that many of the offers that your literature presents turn out to be virtual hoaxes as the companies specified have not ever heard of such offers, to mention but a few: The discount offer at Royal Orchid 9th Mile Dhaba Bangalore, where the manager had not even heard of such an offer, as was the case if I recall correctly at Barbeque Nation, Bangalore. The Rs. 100 off coupon against Rs 400 or more expenditure for Subway sandwiches where the manager of the Hospital Road main branch informed me that Karnataka has not been informed of the offer, In fact as yet I have never been given any of the restaurant discounts mentioned by literature.

                      In fairness I would like to say that I did receive the various discounts offered at PVR Cinemas.

                      I would be grateful if you could inform the various partners and merchants that you have offered your esteemed customers these services as we give our patronage to them on the basis of your offers. I have copied the Consumers Forum on this

                      2) Difficulty in Contacting Qualified Persons on the Phone

                      I have found it extremely difficult to speak to a customer service executive without first going through a labyrinth of number entry and option selection, is there a simple option to speak to an executive without first being told card dues balances etc.?

                      3) Could you club the Big Bazaar silver card with the other cards I hold so that they show on the same page of the internet banking?

                      I hope that these matters can be addressed and our relationship continues to be mutually beneficial.

                          This is to inform you that I was using a sliver credit card( CC No [protected]) which is lost last year in February 2008 till date I never ever purchase & used the above credit card & for same I had put a request in ICICI bank’s Customer Care & closed my card after that I had received a call from their collection department for the payments in April 2008 because I was not using the card so that insisted for full & final payments & as a result Mr. Vijay from Ashok Vihar, Delhi Brach (mob.no [protected]) the executive said Ok sir please pay your settlement amount i.e. 14000/- (12000 Principal Amount & 2000 Late fee) so I paid the same amount thru chq no 222760 dated 22.04.08 thru ICICI receipt no 0124206 dated 19/04/08 & Mr Vijay assured me that after made the payments within 3 day I would get the NOC letter because I never used such type of credit card & this is my first credit card that I had used & not aware their policy so that trust ICICI bank people after that I followed for my NOC (Non Objection Certificate) on above mobile number but every time call was rejected by Mr Vijay nor reply, I never expected that some one who was from ICICI bank gave me fake commitment for same I was several time reach their Customer Care but never receive any positive response. few days later in July 2008 I had again received call regarding the payments follow up, that time I told Mr Akash about all the thing happened with me last time then his senior Mr Rishi (Manager) assured me that after making the Rs 1540/- payments (its late fee), the a/c will be zero & NOC would be issued to me, because this time some one from Manager level assured me so that again I believed them and paid the above amount thru chq no 479738 dated 26/07/08 thru ICICI receipt no 0357616 dated 26/07/08, on Xerox copy of chq I take the Signature of Mr Ramesh (chq collector) on behalf of ICICI bank that after receiving the payments a/c will be zero & NOC will be issue to me within 2 days but again I made fool by ICICI bank, they never response me & again I go to ICICI bank Customer care & again nothing get. after that ICICI bank never chased me for payments.

                          In march 2009 I take initiate for solved the issue but there I know that I have again 19000/- due then I asked them that how it came 19000/- not reply & offer me 8000/- for full & final, there I not dined to pay that time I have only Rs 2000/- & balance will try to give you later as dispute is going on between me & ICICI bank, they deducted my whole salary from my salary saving a/c which already with ICICI bank of Rs 15461/- without any intimation on dated 30/03/2009, I contacted to customer care there they assured me that same problem will resolved pls visit to Rohini, Delhi Branch & they agreed that people make a wrong promised to fulfill their target. So where are my faults if some one giving wrong commitment just fulfill their targets so why suffers a customer. I visited Rohini Branch on 1 April 2009 after reach there I came to know that Branch is not open, I took leave from my office & this leave went waste.

                          Hence kindly file a case against ICICI Credit Cards Bank so that further no customer will suffer like me & also requested to you please help to get back my deducted money with interested because in between of above dispute I have pass from mentally disturb, frustrations, financial problem Etc.

                          ICICI Bank — LEAVING LATE FEE AFTER CARD HAS BEEN CLOSED

                          I am using ICICI Bank card for past 5 years and till date, I am being loyal to that bank.

                          I have paid all my dues for EMI card on 11.02.2010. Then, I asked them to close the account. They also done the same on next day itself and remove the EMI card link from infinity account.

                          After that the bank generated a statement on that on 18.05.2010 and asked me to pay Rs.616.04 as interest, me too paid the same. Then the bank has asked me to pay late payment fee for the past three months and threaten me, otherwise, it will affect my CIBIL report.

                          I asked them to send the previous months statements from february to may. They also sent but it stated the STATEMENT DATE AS 03.06.2010. If it is generated on that month itself, why it is not shown that date. From this we can understand that ICICI Bank is INTENTIONALLY DOING FRAUD.

                            After telephonic discussion with An executive of the ICICI BANK EMI CREDIT CARD DEPARTMENT, An executivr come to my office at 306, 3rd Floor, Kalash-II, B/h. Navrangpura Post Office, Nr. Navrangpura Jain Temple, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad-380009. he told me the T & C of the EMI Credit Card and as per the T & C the ROI is 1.49% and he never told me about the EMI Charges of Rs. 149/- on every purchase made by the card holder.
                            I got verification call and on verification call the executive on phone said me ROI 1.99% so i told him kindly do not send me EMI card i dont want this EMI card.
                            Eventhough i said that i dont want EMI card, after 10 to 15 days i got EMI Card.Then i make some transaction from this EMI card, because on 27th February 2009 is my marriage date.
                            i want to cancelled this EMI card and also want to make the whole payments excluding EMI CHARGES, INTEREST CHARGES AND OTHER RELETED CHARGES.
                            TODAY ON 05/03/2009 I WILL PAY THE MINIMUM AMT. BUT ANY HOW I WILL NOT PAY OTHER CONSEQUANCE CHARGES.

                              One Ms. Madhana from your ambattur branch had called up to talk about our card payment.

                              The card holder Mr. Mohan is out of town first due to death of a close relative from 17th march 09 and then again on business from 1st april after returning on 31st march. Hence we did not have the time to attend to the payment. I can show u proves in boh the cases that he is out of town.

                              coming to the subject, since i was also out of chennai, on 3rd of april she has called the alternate telephone number of my mother which we had given to your bank.

                              mY MOTHER HAD AN ATTACK OF HEMMORAGE LAST MONTH AND IS AILING SINCE THEN AND IN BED, WHEN MS. MADHANA CALLED THIS NUMBER, THE ATTENDING NURSE AT HOME SPOKE TO HER AND TOLD HER THAT WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE AND THAT ONLY MY MOTHER IS AT HOME. SINCE SHE WANTED HER TO HAND OVER THE PHONE TO MY MOTHER SHE DID SO. MY MOTHER SAID THAT MR. MOHAN IS OUT OF TOWN AND I HAVE GONE OUT OF CHENNAI TO TEMPLE. SHE CROSS QUESTIONED MY MOTHER THAT HOW CAN SHE SAY THAT WE ARE OUT OF CHENNAI WHEN THE NURSE SAID WE ARE OUT. THIS IS THE FIRST QUESTION. THEN WHEN MY MOTHER PLEADED HER THAT SHE IS SICK AND IN BED AND SAID THAT SHE IS TALKING THE TRUTH. WHEN ASKED FOR OUR MOBILE NUMBER, SHE SAID SHE CANNOT REMEMBER. SHE THREATENED MY MOTHER THAT TOMORROW SHE WILL CONTACT THE SAME NUMBER AND THAT MY MOTHER SHOULD SOME HOW REMEMBER AND GIVE HER THE NUMBER. THIS IS THE THREAT SHE POSTED ON HER.

                              NOW MY MOTHER WHO IS 84 YEARS OLD CONVELSING FROM AN BRAIN HEAMORAGE IS QUESTIONED, CROSS QUESTIONED AND THREATENED EVEN WHEN SHE PLEADED THAT SHE IS VERY SICK AND DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING.

                              MY QUESTION IS WHETHER ICICI BANK IS EMPLOYING ANY GOONDA'S TOT ALK LIKE THIS AND THREATEN EVEN WHEN A OLD LADY PLEADS HER CONDITION AND SAYS SHE IS NOT AWARE.
                              UNABLE TO BEAR THIS RUDE TALK HE BLOOD PRESSURE SHOT UP SINCE LAST EVENING AND HER CONDITION HAS DETERIORATED. IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO MY MOTHER I WILL NOT SPARE THIS LADY MS. MADANA NOR ICICI BANK FOR EMPLOYEEING SUCH PERSONS WHOM WE ARE TALKING WITHOUT ANY IDENTITY OF THAT PERSON. PL. ADDRESS THIS BEHAVIOUR IMMEDIATELY.

                              THIS MORNING WHEN SHE CALLED AND WHEN I RECD THE CALL. MS. MADANA AGAIN WHILE I QUESTIONED HER BEHAVIOUR WITH MY MOTHER LAST EVENING IS TELLING ME THAT I AM OVER SMART AND I CAN COMPLAIN ABT HER BEHAVIOUR TO ANY LEVEL AND EVEN TO MR. KAMATH CHAIRMAN ICICI BANKA ND SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT IT.

                              MY QUESTION IS DOES ICICI ORIENTATES ITS EMPLOYEES TO TALK TOT HE CUSTOMERS IN THIS FASHION AND BEHAVE RUDELY WITHOUT ANY IDENTITY OVER THE PHONE? WILL ICICI BANK TAKE UP THE RESPONSIBILITY IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO MY AILING MOTHER. HOW DARE MS. MADHANA ADDRESS ME AS OVER SMART, I BEING A CUSTOMER OF YOUR BANK, INFACT THE WHOLE FAMILY WHO TRUSTS THIS BANK AND ITS OPERATIONS?

                              Then your sr. manager one Ms. Begum who came online was briefed on this and was told that the payment will be organised.

                              I AM REALLY SHOCKED TO EXPERIENCE THE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS AN 85 YEAR OLD LADY. ( GUNDA TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR TO THE CUSTOMER ESPECIALLY FROM A REPUTED BANK LIKE ICICI. PLEASE TAKE UP THIS COMPLAINT SERIOUSLY AND SEE THAT NECSSARY ACTION IS TAKEN AGAINST MS. MADANA.

                              ICICI Bank — treating customer in a bad manner

                              My name is S.VenkateshPrabhu from tirupattur (vellore district),tamilnadu..
                              On[protected],thusday i withdrawl Rs.10,000 from icici atm which was attached to icici bank-tirupattur, but in withdrawl there was a problem occured in machine (atm center) ...the atm statement bills was attached to this mail.

                              Problem : for withdrawl cash for 10,000 after doing all the procedure, at the last i didn't receive cash from the machine ,the machine counted the money but the money didn't come out of the machine.but the statement print shows that the cash withdrawl for 10,000 and it was debited from my icici bank account..
                              Atlast the statement print shows-transaction declined, respnse code-contact bank.

                              Sir the bank staffs didnt response me anything for my situvation about the problem occured and they didnt give respect for me,they didn't give the proper reason for that problem,then the bank manager and asistant manager didnt attend my problem on that day[protected]because they went out of the bank for two hours..
                              Then one of the staff Mr.Mowley said & accured me that within 24hours the amount will be reversed in my account or if not he said he will give Rs.10,000 immediately. then i met the bank manager yestaday[protected]regarding this problem,but he didnt understand my situvation,then he said to meet Mowley. but after 24 hours Mr.Mowley angrily said " I Have The Power To Credit within 24 hours but U Didn't Beliving Me and Going to Manager so u should wait for 7 Working days.
                              so after i heared that i was very vex about the way of mannerism which he behaved with me ,so i decided that i will surely put this problem in consumer court because i urgentely needed the cash for my medical expencess .

                              so please take severe action for this problem and credit my account Rs.10,000 immediately.

                              ICICI Bank — Worst in its policies and operations. Also Bad behaviour to customer

                              Few days back one of the ICICI bank executive called me and told that they have a special offer of personal loan with less rate of interest. after couple of days i reverted back to them and told them that i am interested for that. also asked them about the required documents for same. they answered me telling that they only need my id proof, two months bank statement, salary slip and address proof (or hr letter). i submitted all the documents and they confirmed me that i will be able to get the money in three days. they sent one executive and asked me top sign the agreement and give checks . after completion of the formalities, two days later they called me and told me that we want your bank statement from the bank. we can't accept ur online bank statement. this was really surprising for me because they didnot inform me about this before. inspite of that i pulled up some time from my daily scedule and collected the required statement from bank and informed them . The executives then asked me that they want verification of my signature at the bank after i finished everything. this was really teriible and gave disappointment to me. beacuse i already spent lot of time and money to give all the documents to them. when i called the executive and asked them about this, his beheviour was really rude to me and he suggested me not to avail for the loan.

                              This is the real picture of ICICI bank, their policies and their executives. They initially give false commitments to the people, harass them and finally make them waiste their time and money without providing any output.
                              I have been ICICI customer for last almost 8/9 years. I was happy for most of the time becuase i never had much to interact with it. As my account was NRI and have been away from it. Recently when i moved to India and started using it, then i realized what mistake i have been doing. Recently i have opened with two other national bankers. And so far experience have been good.

                              ICICI don't know how to to treat people, thats the major problem i have with them. Overly worked staff may be the reason, or whatever else may it be.. i have decided to move on.
                              I suggest others to who have suffered to look for other options too...

                              gone are the days, when bank used to trat people as slaves.. with more options customer have it's easier than ever to switch banks... many more banks offer good and better facilities.

                              FARHAN QURESHI — INTERNET NOT WORKING

                              Sir, my connection is not working since 2 weeks. I had tried to lodge a complaint on customer care no. 67908000 but am unable to speak to any of your representatives. whenever i call the given no., i am connected to a recorded voice which tells me to wait, but even after waiting for 15 -25 minutes i never got a response. I am fed up of trying to lodge a complaint. I am using a Ds206 Advantage 399 Unlimited Plan. Recently i got the bill for a month of which half the month my net was not working. please help me with my connectivity and billing issues. My D/N no. : 448790. Thanking You.

                              ICICI Bank — Often threatening me by bad words on phone.

                              Becuase of the stock market's position, I lost about 50% of my investment. I explained my position to the Bank. Bank does not heed my request, instead it's persons threatening me with bad words both on phone and infront of neigbhours.

As I no longer need this insurance policy, I was denying to get the health insurance policy. Suddenly, one fine day the same agent call and started using abusing words and disconnected the call. I tried calling the phone number from where I received the call but I got the same response.

                              The number from where the calls were made is[protected]. Suggest no one to attend any calls from this number.

                              For this Credit card Payment, I contact Mr Shanmugam Ambattur Branch. As per his instruction, I paid the credit card payment. But till now he is not given card patment closing letter. Even I call daily 20 times, he is attending the call. So, please tale the necessary action & give me payment closing letter immeidatly.

                              ICICI Bank — no address exhibited, rude behaviour of personnel

                              Though i am not direct customer of ICICI bank, which boosts itself as pioneer and leader and torch bearer of Indian financial market, i find the following:

                              01 no where the address of the bank is displayed at branch or on correspondence.

                              02. even the staff doesnt know what is related correspondence in one file

                              03. most irresponsible staff i found

                              04. The staff, majority, lack the banking and concerned law

                              05. they believe in goonda giri than legal giri.

                              06. The staff not only collection or recovery, but the staff of branches are, i found, behave in irresponsible way.

                              07 never the person who receives a letter, cannot reply, even if it is a legal notice, due to lack of address, and such important letters will be sent to customers by ordy post without signature.

                              is this the way of running a financial instituion.

                              I am Madhu, i took a personal from ICICI bank, froom fast 2 year i paid the EMI's regularly, last 4 months i am not able to pay the EMI's beacuse of job less, i told the collection agent give me time 2 months, i will pay the Defaults EMI's.
                              But they are not understand the my problem.
                              once i get a job, i will the all the EMI..
                              but they are not thinking customer side.
                              This ICICI People are like that only. dont have culture to speak with the customers. More no of people are having with that Non cultured bank activities.

                              Till Yesterday, I was thinking that ICICI bank is genuine and kind. But these kind of behaviors leads us the customer like me to change our decision.

                              My question is, Why your(ICICI bank) people are calling an unwanted number, and saying that we are calling from a courier company.

                              I would like to share an incident with you all about how bad the employees of ICICI Bank treat there customers.

                              Today, i went to deposit cash and after taking in token, i was standing in the line as usuall and there computer screen where they display the token number and the counter number was not working properly as they screen was getting on and off frequently and due to a lot of noice inside the bank i was not able to hear my number being called, hence when i walked up and asked the lady in cash counter whether she has called my number by any chance, she told me very rudely that i was suppossed to keep my eyes and ears open, they nust have called and went.

                              See the rudeness, they show advertisement about helping people. And this how they behave when asked about a simple query..
                              Yes, I too agree with the ICICI Bank people. It will be sweet when you are trying to get any loan or so. Once you are linked to bank, you are gone. MANY GENUINE PAYERS STOPPED DEALING WITH PEOPLE. I was doing business with these people because of huge network nothing else. I will be going to AMBTTUR office very soon. Let me see what will happen will update you guys.

                              To Whomsoever it may concern.

                              This is to inform you and express my disappointment and anger towards the way I have been treated.

                              Issue: Account number ******** got leaned on 24th of Nov for the amount of 55890.77 against the pending EMI for Loan account number LPHYD[protected].

                              Salary got credited on Nov 30 of 39,633.00 and as the account was in a leaned status I could not withdrew any amount.

                              I made a phone call to register my complaint and was informed to visit your Gachibowli Branch Hyd which I did and spoke to my Loan Account Manager Ms. Suvarana Chatrerjee.

                              After the discussion with her I was assured that the settlement for this Loan Account would be made for RS25000 INR and with my written approval the amount would be debited and the the account would be unblocked for me to withdraw the remaining funds.

                              The issues medical and Financial was discussed in detailed with the responsible officers and also a written request along with singed signature proofs where submitted on 3OTH of Nov.

                              Day 2 Dec 1st :Spoke to the collections officer and was informed that the request was approved and only 25000 would be debited out of my account and the remaining would be left for withdrawel. This was confirmed both by phone banking and also my loan account manager.

                              Things where smooth until now when I receieved an SMS on my mobile number [protected] that the entire amount of 39,664.23 has been debited out of my account ******** and the remaining balance or the available balance is 0.


                              Complaint:
                              I would request and demand an explanation about why and how this has been done and why was I misinformed and cheated on this grounds.
                              This is my salary account and I am here to resolve the issues and concerns and have always been loyal towards ICICI Bank.

                              A financial institution like ICICI holds the responsibility towards its customers and are answerable for such issues which might cause severe problems to its customers which can lead to many uncertain events.

                              I request the institution to contact me back and resolve this issue at the earliest as I am in a medical emergency and also would like the funds to be reversed as promised.

                              Looking forward for an immediate resolution to this as the issue needs to be escalated to the highest level possible.

                              I have a Complain against a Retailer of Telecommunication of Brahmapur, Orissa. I, T. Satyanarayan bought an Airtel mobile Prepaid on 1st of January 2011 at Sameer Plaza, Ganesh Market (Extn.) Big Bazar, Brahmapur (Gm.). But till now I never get any Outgoing facility.. Sameer Plaza,s owner says the Doc. Collector of Airtel lost my Docs.. So he request me to resubmit Form with Docs... He tell me it will get activated within 36 hrs....on 24th Jan 2011....But today till now my Mobile's outgoing never activated...when I ask him why it happens, he tells me another Story that Doc. Collectors are nt available....when the Airtel Customer Care office of Brahmapur an the same market which was I get to know later....My Airtel Mobile Prepaid number is [protected]....You can check out this number when the number get activated (Incoming)...When I tell him their fault the Shop owner angried with me with bad behaviour...I want to request you to Submit my Complaint against the Shop owner (Sameer Plaza, Ganesh Market (Extn.)                               Hi, My Loan No is LPCHE[protected] -PL and for the same i have been paying my EMI properly through agency (Saravana - ID No : 1209200). My loan finishes aroung Jun'2011.For past 6 months no one have turned to collect my EMi and i have been calling 2 agenciy person repeadtely.
                              Suddenly i get a letter from your Bank stating i need to pay "XXXXXX" amt as due "XX" as late fee and "XXX" amt as Bounce charges.
                              Iam surprised to see that for the fault of your agency person to come and collect the due.. do you think i will be responsible for defaulter inclusion in CIBIL.
                              Instead the bank sending aletter to me they can call me very well and collect the dues.All my details are with the bank. Hope i receive a call from your side immediately. I hereby bring to your notice that i am not responsible for any extra charges.

                              Myself chetan I have ICICI gold account I lost my ATM card so I called to customer care to block the card that person block the card and said me u can visit any nearest branch to collect instant new ATM card so I visited Nerul branch they said they don’t have ATM card, they said come on Saturday. Saturday I visited I got same answer again, I lost almost my two days paid leaves and main thing there employee behavioral. There is one employee called Manger Magdum, he works in ICICI Navi Mumbai, Nerul Branch, he were talking very hardly, his behavior was completely not acceptable, he was literally abusing me. I want you people to take disciplinary action against him. This is not the way to deal with the customers of a bank, really this bank's employees suck, if you all take an action against him it would be very helpful to maintain discipline amongst the employees and it would save the bank from bad reputation.
                              Today one of the lady names as Subha calls me on my number and threatening me on my 4.5 years back credit card due. I dont have any dues on that card and unfortunately I forget to cancel that card .These ladies using bad words and we cant reply on same tone as she is a lady .this weekness clearly exploited by this GOONDA BANK.

                              My name is Jeny Koshy, I had a credit card from ICICI opened back in 2007, I had offered several times during that time to settle the amount. These people would love to take the money but can't give any documents once I have mad that the account is closed. They want just money and I mentioned I am not going to pay a single penny until I get a proof of account closed and payment paid.

                              From past two weeks ANOTHer Colection agency people started calling my dad cell phone, my home phone, my wife's relatives. Also now they started calling people from Rotary Club of Puthur, Kerala, india and is demanding each one to pay the amount. They are filing a complaint against these numbers as these people in rotary club are highly qualified professionals. Situation is getting worsened as these guys called me at 4.45 am in the morning and on my asking when did I open the account they gave me a wrong answer and also the credit limit.

                              I am a US citizen and am filing a complaint against ICICI bank, Ambatoor branch, Chennai as this is where the person told he is working, he said his employee ID number is 2046 and I knew that wasn't correct either. The number which they are calling is from[protected], mostly from[protected]. The guys name is Surech Kumar, he was abusing in malayalam, english and hindi and there were two people who abused me on the phone. They threatened that they will cut my legs if I come to India and they will continue to call all numbers of my friends, relatives, my dad, my wife's house, etc.

                              If I come to hear that they call anu of my friends one more time, the situation will go wrong as I will use my rights to Sue ICICI to any level.

                                  I, A. K. De have been using icicibank credit card since last five years and did't default single time in respect of payment. However on 10 th March I have made one transaction amounting to Rs. 83633.00 with NACIL through my credit card for buying air ticket which is Rs.11633.00 more than my credit limit. But within a week i. e. on 16/3/2009 the above amount has been paid by me in full. Now after receiving monthly statemant i found that an amount of Rs. 551.00 has been charge on me against overlimit charge. As per their policy raising of credit limit is a phone call away. In the past they had raise my credit limit automatically. Even after making transaction thay have raised my credit limit and confirmed by SMS. Hence i didn't care for raising limit.Buying air tickets through agents is cheaper and they even deliver at home free of cost.
                                  In view of the above I want to know is it reasonable to levy such a charge when i didn't even availed of 50 days credit limit ?

                                  ICICI Bank Credit Card — undue charges on credit cards

                                  I am a credit card holder of icici bank since last 3 years and using and paying regularly payment of the card used. Since last three months unwanted charges are coming in statement of my credit card and i had been trying to complaint for this on customer care no.[protected]. But every time when i am connected with customer care and when i entered my credit card no. i get message sorry time is finished. so please see in matter and solve problem immediately

                                    Dear Freinds,

                                    Since past three month I received some SMS from ICICI bank asking me to repay some outstaing lona installment where thy had mention their loan account No. is XXXXXXXXXX Some No. and if do not repay the same they will compain to CIBIL for dealyed in payments.

                                    Please not that me and family was houng some of loan from ICICI Bank way back in[protected] and the same was also been repaid by us in before July 2004. In Fact I had repaid all my personal, Hosingand other loan during this period and I had not received any call till this date.

                                    Now, since I received call from bank almost after 4 year what you expected to, i.e. there is some one who had taken loan my my behalf and they had deelayed in loan repayment or there is some where bank had not close my loan account in their bank and I am received the SMS from Bank for the same.

                                    What I should do for this. Also let me know that for how many years you are liabile to maintain the documents for loan repayment ?

                                      On jan 30 evening i got a call from icici (+[protected] Mr Ramesh. He introduced him that he is calling for a free insurance as im selected as a reputed customer of icici. More than he tole the all details of my credit card, my mother's name, my address, phone no, and my previous insurance details. he told me that it is a free insurance only for ur spouse and u want to follow the procedure of the insurance by IVR, so that u wil get the insurance and the insurance amount will be paid by the ICICI itself.

                                      As the details what i gave confidential only for ICICI Bank, i trusted him when he gave the entire details of mine. and he told that it is the last date for the free insurance. so as i thought that it is real and i followed the IVR instruction, which has been assisted by RAMESH.

                                      But suddenly i got a Amortization Schedule on 16-Feb-2009

                                      for the amount of Rs. 12235.00 on 010209 by my credit card for icici Lombard GIC 24.
                                      and has been converted to an EMI Transaction.

                                      And i received my credit card March statement, where i found EMI principal and interest were flashing for RS.576.45.

                                      Im really shocked by this incident.
                                      As im a good customer for ICICI having relationship for more than 5 years, holding my SB account. and three creditcard's and paying two insurance correctly without any due.

                                      But im totally upset by the above mentioned problem, as i dont in need of insurence for my spouse at the time. by your strong promotion of your executive that, its a free insurance and i will go waste i[censored] not suscribe for it. i proceeded for that.

                                      Immediately i called to that phone no 13 march 2009, where i got from my mobile no database and Mr KUMAR picked my call and he told that is ICICI Lombard office in purasaiwalkam, Chennai. he responded me and i detailed my matter to him. he told me that he will consider this problem and get back me earlier in 3 days. but no reply came to me. meanwhile i called icici prudential and canceled th insurance which im not interested. but the executive detailed me that cancellation charges will be 30% and i want to pay for that.

                                      Im mentally disturbed by this forgery done by your icici company. where i been reputed for your bank having no remarks in my bank, credit card, loan, and insurance.

                                      i want to resolve this problem and immediately.. and want to clear my stress by this incident.
