: I HAVE RECEIVED A CHE.NO.360530/13.12.06 FOR RS.26400/- from icici bankltd TOWARDS LOAN AGAINST MY CREDIT CARD WHICH IS TO BE REPAID IN 24 INSTALMENTS AND REQUESTED ME TO PAY FROM FEB2007 ONWARDS(PRIN-26400+INT 4752 & ST 585 =31737 TO BE PAID).THE INTEREST ON IT IS 4752 FOR 24 MONTHS . NO AMORTISATION SCHEDULE WAS SENT TO ME. THEREFORE I USED TO PAY THE DUES IN THE MONTHLY STATEMENT AND COMPLETED THE ENTIRE 24 INSTS AS RS.26400 +INT 76072+ST585=34592 I.E I HAVE PAID AN EXCESS AMOUNT OF RS.2855 IN EXCESS OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF PRINCIPAL +INTEREST +ST .EVENAFTER COMPLETING THE PAYMENT MR.VENKATAKRISHNAN OF RAMNAGAR BRANCH, CBE IS TORTURING ME TO PAY RS.20000 AND BLOCKED MY SB ACCOUNT .Then I met him AND PRODUCED THE DETAILS OF PAYMENT TO HIM. HE SAID TO RELEASE I HAVE TO PAY RS.2600 ACCORDINGLY I HAVE AUTHORISE TO WITH DRAW THE AMOUNT FROM MY ACCOUNT. EVEN AFTER MY REPEATED REQUESTS THROUGH E MAIL, NO BODY IS INTERESTED IN SETTLING THE ISSUE. AGAIN LAST FEB HE HAD BLOCKED MY ACCOUNT AND WHEN I CALLED HIM TO KNOW THE REASON, BUT HE TALKED VERY HARSHLY AND HESITATE TO MEET ME AND ASK ME TO MEET MR.RADHAKRISHNAN . HE HAD ALSO ASKED ME TO PAY RS.2600/- THEN I HAVE AUTHORISED TO DEBIT THE SAID AMOUNT ON 06.02.2009 . THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY ME IS RS.37192 FOR THE AMOUNT OF LOAN RS.26400/-. THAT MAN IS TILL GIVING TORTURE BY SENDING THE SMALL BOYS AND THAT BOYS ARE SHOUTING INFRONT OF THE OTHERS AND INSISTING ME TO PAY 20000. WHY YOU PEOPLE ARE MAKING TORTURE WHEN I HAVE DEFAULT IN PAYING THE INSTALMENT CORRECTLY. CAN U ABLE TO TORTURE THE HIGHER UNPAID PEOPLE WHO IS CHEATING .MY FAMILY IS DEPENDING ONLY MY INCOME.PLEASE TREAT THIS MOST URGENT. HIS NUMBER IS [protected] . HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND MY GRIEVANCE. I NEVER CHEAT ANYONE EVEN THE BANK.

IT IS QUITE SURPRISED TO RECEIVE SUCH TYPE OF IRRESPONSIBLE MAIL FROM THEIR END AND INSISTING ME TO PAY MORE THAN 20000/-. THE INSTALMENT TO BE PAID INCLUDES BOTH THE INTEREST AND SERVICE TAX. THE LOAN HAS TO REPAY IN 24 INSTALMENTS. IN SUCH CASE WHERE IS THE QUESTION OF MINIMUM DUE WILL ARISE? IF I PAY THE INSTALMENT ON 1ST OR 5TH OR 15 THE OR 7TH DURING THE MONTH, THEY ARE CHARGING PENAL INTEREST. TILL DATE I HAVE PAID 37192/- FOR THE LOAN RECEIVED AMOUNT OF RS.26400/- DO WISH FOR REPAYMENT OF RS.26400, I MUST TO PAY 57000/-. I.E DOUBLE TIME OF THE AMOUNT RECEIVED ? DO WISH ME TO PAY THE BALANCE. WILL YOU LIKE THIS. ARE YOU READY TO PAY FROM YOUR PACKET IF SOMEONE CHARGED LIKE THIS.

EVEN AFTER MY REPEATED REQUEST TO MANY PEOPLE AND VIA MAIL, NOBODY IS INTERESTED IN GOING THROUGH THE ACCOUNT AND SETTLE THE ISSUE.
WHEN ON THE TELEPHONIC CONVERSATION, ONE MR.VENKATESH SAID THAT HE WILL CHECK THE ACCOUNT AND COME BACK TO ME. BUT WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE ACCOUNT AND WITHOUT KNOWING THE NATURE OF THE TRANSACTION( IT IS NOT A CREDIT CARD DUE BUT A LOAN TO BE REPAID WITH INTEREST) HOW CAN THEY ASK ME REPAY THE BALANCE. DO YOU THINK THEY THOUGHT THAT I AM A FOOL T O PAY WHATEVER AMOUNT DEBITED TO MY LOAN ACCOUNT. NO SUCH BANK IS DOING LIKE THIS. BEFORE CALLING A CUSTOMER FIRST GO THROUGH THROUGHLY THE STATEMENT RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING TO TILL DATE.

I AM THE ONLY BREAD WINNER OF MY FAMILY. AGAIN AND AGAIN HE IS TORTURING ME AND MAKING ME TO COMMIT SUICIDE.

I DONT KNOW HOW TO OVERCOME FROM THIS ISSUE

ICICI is the most worst cheating banking in INDIA. and its folks are dirty .consult a lawer and explain your concern to get rid of this issue.

    It is Again submitted to ICICI that I have returned and cancelled My ICICI Credit card with effect from 10.08.09 after paying my last outstanding dues. I have informed customer care regarding withdrawn and blocking of this card on phone call as I bear no responsibility of this card i.e ICICI credit card [protected] from the given date .
    No further charges are applicable on me and any further communication in this regard will invite consumer court to settle the matter .
    Further, due to prolonged delay in providing me due compensation against bouncing my cheque, I still claim Rs. 1000 from ICICI which is still unpaid to me .


    Pls arrange for neeedful and forward suitably to all concerned to pay my claim as discussed inn trailing mails.

      i am having ICICI bank savings account from the past 51/2 years.i applied for icici bank credit card online from bank's website.later a customer care representative called me and verification process was done.but i did not get any communication from them.after waiting for some weeks i mailed my ICICI bank manager giving my appliaction refernece no.he replied me asking for my douments required to ICICI bank Chandivali, mumbai address.i sent them through courier .but still there was no reply.again i mailed my bank manager .to my surprise he says my appliaction is rejected and reason for the same could not be disclosed.but i came to kno was per law there are supposed to disclose the details. i would like ICICI to respond to my case .my credit card application no is[protected].

      Read the terms & conditions of each & every bank Credit card application form, bank will not provide you rejection reason, since approving & declining of application is sole discretion of bank & RBI have given right to check, verify & give loans & cards at your own discretion.

      Suggestion : Try not to apply in these market conditions since all banks are not approving the CC applications now, , , try after 1yr time.

      ICICI — rejection of credit cards

      I,DR.Sandeep achalraj Seth,DOB:8/6/78,have been rejected by credit card companies due to my name being in CIBIL,Inspite of i settling payment with ICICI bank.I had never transacted and it was a fradulent transaction done by the bank for my utility bill which i never consented them to pay.I am a professional and having various bank accounts in SBI,Axis bank.Since my name is in the defaulters list,i would nnot be able to avail of loans in the future.So kindly look into the matter and oblige.

        dear sir,
        i miss shilpa chodankar was employee of icici prudential group and was offered the corporate gold card. the card bears the no [protected] of which the issue date is 01/08.
        as per the credit limit available 30, 000 i made a purchase transaction at jayesh jewellers of rs 29, 500 on 10th jan 2009.
        since i had the intentions to purchase this gold on my credit card prior to doing this transaction i gave a call to the call center and inquired about the total credit limit for purchasing and whether i can convert it in EMI or no. as per the information given i cleared the previous balance and made the transaction on 10th of jan.
        immediately next day i gave a call to the call center mentioning that i want to convert this transaction into EMI. so the executive told me i will have to call after 7 days since they recieve the update after 7 days.
        after 7 days i when made a call the executive told me that my request will be processed and i shall recieve a confirmation call for the same.
        since i did not recive any confirmation call i called occe again on 19th jan 2009 to confirm the same. i got the information that it will be done for 24 months and EMI will be 1430rs and initially in the month of feb2009 i will have to pay rs 660 only.
        2 days after this call i recieved a call from the chennai center 2 boys were on the phone one after the other they spoke. the message what they gave me was that " this is a confirmation call for your request for the transaction to be converted into EMI has been proceessed and you are given 24 months EMI facility. and EMI will be 1430rs and initially in the month of feb2009 i will have to pay rs 660 only. "

        but now when i recieve my statements and i recieve phone call from the recovery they are telling me that the transaction is not being converted into EMI.

        so i request you to look into this matter and do the needfull. i was actually waiting for my phone call history to come and then register this complain. but as days are passing i thought of doing this first.

        i request you to give me the EMI facility as i cannot afford to pay such huge amount at once. and as it is i am jobless suffering of reccession.

        at the most i can arrange for the EMI amount every month.

          Hi,

          This is Atul, I am using ICICI account from past 5 yrs but I nvr come across such a things and charges ever in this term, But I came to US for official work past 6 months, and as I seen my account info ..They deducted some 800+ rupees from my account two times for QBR charges, ..
          also In the month of Septeber 2008 they charges me 600 rs for check rejection and mentioned as No sufficient fund was available, for the check of 1200 rs I paid 1300 for ICICI and Standard charter Bank, Standard Charter Banl credited back the amount after having discussion, But ICICI bank has not credited the amount on my credit card yet after giving return complaint also.
          I never paid for any late payement charges and all...why its happening after such a long relationship with ICICI.
          I am just posting it here thinking that something will happen and next time they wont do it again...as I cant track record and contact customer care here from USA.

            I am low salaried person facing financial problem in my family. I want to complain about the cash amount stolen from my bank account. A month before I got a call from ICICI bank calling agent reagrding loan. He offered me a Personal loan of 2 Lacs on behalf of my salary. I got agree & submitt the documents asked by him. I also gave him 5 blank account payee check. He said that he will fill the company name in cheques himself. After three days of submitting these doucument I come to know that Rs.11000/- has been debited from my account via one of the cheque which I gave as PL docs. He stole my salary of the month in a moment. This month I have no money with me & I have a lot of debts over my head.
            I report a FIR to the nearest Police Station & made the stop payment of rest cheques. After the investigation on the numbers from which I got call, I come to know that their is no such person of this name in the bank. Now I am wondering to the Police station's & Banks to get my money back but I have not received any proper response from any side. Its already 10 days has been passed & I am still struggling to get my money back. And I do not think so that any one is able to help me in this case.
            I am drafting this mail to let you guys know that do not take any thing on phone & do not submitt your documents to any unknown person. Do the complete verification of the person from the respective company or branch & then only submit the docs. Also take a copy of ID proof of the guy to whom you are submitting the documents. Fill the company name in the cheques yourself. Don't let anyone [censored] you like me.

              Dear sir,

              I availed a loan for 6.5 lacs from ICICI home finance, Bhubaneswar office which is to be repayed in 5 years (60 instalments). This is a loan based on floating rate of interest. My loan was disbursed by 1st week of Feb 09 with EMI at 11.5 % which was higher compared to ICICI home loan interest. I made a complaint to the bhubaneswar branch Regional Credit Manager but no response from him. He didnot even bother to receive my calls. Now in March 09 my EMI is debited at same 11.5% interest.

              I checked on 26th feb 09 with ICICI Bank in Chennai and understand that the home loan above 5 lacs is now 10%. Immediately i informed the Regional Credit Manager for rectification of my rate of interest and EMI but he didnot bother to take any action.

              I am totally pissed off with the attitude of the ICICI home finance guys and terribly disappointed with their response and behaviour. I dont know how this company exist in this present competitive world.
              I now understood that there is no one in this company who is bother to look at the customer's complaints.

                  My name is sahil beri, i have an ICICI credit card whose number is:[protected], and last yr i was forced by the tele caller Mr.Shankar to opt for auto debit facility of my vodafone postpaid number, the due date for the same is 23 of every month, and i was told that the amount will be deducted on 18th of every month, but every month i am being charged on 11 th and evertime i call icici customer care and ask them about it, they ask me to call vodafone cust care and when i call vodafone cust care, they ask me to call icici customer care but no one provides me a satisfactory answer. now i have a bill dispute with vodafone, for which i called the icici customer care to stop the payment of the number for this month, then the agent told me that today is my due date of paying the bill and so the bill has been processed where in i was shocked that the bill due date lies on 23 of every month. now they are not assisting me and saying that the bill has been paid, wherein i have not recieved any intimation from icici bank's side regarding the due date of my vodafone bill reminder. i need an explanation on this that why everytime my bill is being paid on 11th wherein the due date lies on 23rd. and moreover, are the customer care agents at ICICI bank just there to fool the customers not to assist them?for reference, i am attaching the snapshot of my vodafone bill as well

But till date i had regularly recieved e-mails & phone call from icici bank .i m now mentoly torchard by this bank, i went to the icici credit card devision main office too many times & every time employees told me to take immediate action against my complain but there is no response till date. i had give photocopy of settlement letter of icici bank too many times to bank's exicutives.

                      Pls find the below mails of my chq deposit 20 days before at icici bank br and i have lost dealof 30L also i have received mail from icici after several timing visiting branch till date i have not receied any answer from bank they apponting people but geven them traning like chaya bala or mungafally wala they bank officer does know how to handle customer and hwen they shall answer the quary icici bank taking customer graanted ihave banking with past 8 yrs and every time we are not getting good services from bank.Icici bank just not slaping customer after asking several time to the bank banking not taking any action .i would like esclate my issue to the core even i have sent msg to core dept of indian gvt but till now i have not received any answer from both side this is the bank doing practise with indiam citizen and same kind of practise in any part of world what action what my indian gvt doing...they are not at all very abt indian consumer.

                        With ref to the above I have paid Rs.5000/- on 31.07.08 and the agent has given a receipt attested as full n final settlement and his name is Mr.S.Karthick.After this too I was receiving statements and reminder calls for payment which was agonising and a major nuisance.Hence this was continuous nonsense.Later what they did was to autodebit my savings bank account :[protected].This account has already been connected with a Loan EMI being autodebited for Rs.9051 every month.(LPCHE[protected]).As the credit card company had already swindled Rs.2000/- from my account last month and again this month they have wacked Rs.1240 /- my emi amount got reduced, hence loan emi got bounced.which did not occcur in my banking experience till date.My banking records are clean and till now in my history nothing has got bounced, which is ridiculous, shocking and weird.

                        I would like to you to help me in this regard and reverse the amount which was autodebited without my permission into my account.As of now my balance shows Rs.8441.75 but I am unable to draw the same, which leads me to close the account as my experience with this bank is threatening and its day time burglary.I am a patron client of yours for more than 10yrs, if I am experiencing such a situation, then imagine the other crowd.I pity the people who hold accounts with you.

                          Hi All,
                          This is to bring to your notice that I have been in constant communication with ICICI Bank with regards to Fraud Detection on my Credit Card number [protected] in the month of June 2008 for approx. Rs. 44, 000/-. I have been referred to different people and I politely did what was told to me by the authoroties involved with this case. However today (28th Feb 2009)the entire amount was debited from my Salary Account and I did not get any salary (My salary of Rs. 22081/- For the month of February ). Apart from this my account still has a deficit of approx Rs. 40000/-
                          I have mantained very good relationship with the bank with regards to all my transactions. I have paid my Loans (Loan A/c No. LPMUM[protected]) and EMI’s before time on this credit card as well. I was told to wait for this issue to be rectified every time. However after some time; they kept referring me to different people. Today I was asked to contact Mr. Malviya from chargeback team and I was informed that he works from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM. I confirmed the same as it was a Saturday and the person from customer care on the phone said Yes, he would be available. After visiting his office in Andheri at 04:00 PM; I was informed that he is not availabale as the office hours are till 02:00 PM. As there was no response from the bank; I decided to lodge a complaint against the same in Goregaon (W) police station on 21st Feb 2009 because all these transactions were in June 2008 and it is 8 months now that there is no action taken on this. Only action taken by the bank is to send recovery agents to collect this money.
                          The reason I am writing this mail is because after sending so many Email’s; Faxes and couriers to different people from the same Bank; my issue was never fixed and today you debited my salary Account. This is more than just Mental torture to any individual. As I understand the bank should not charge the customer for any disputed amount until and unless that case is closed. I have all the documents with me and proof of all the documents that I sent to the bank. I request the RBI ombudsman team to look at this seriously as early as possible. Please revert for any documents that might be required.
                          For all the people listed above; please co-operate with me and help me to fix this at the earliest.

                              i had lost Rs. 16140 from my a/c thru a fraud transaction. i came to know about the samt thru sms that your acct. has been debited by rs. 16140 at 9.30 AM on 17.04.2008 and transection time was about 4:30 AM, same time i check my account online and find this trasection have been done thru bill junction, after this i called customer care and tell them this is not done by me even i don't have knowledge abou it. they the same email asking to verify which i foolishly did and gave my login id and login password to 2 to 3 weeks but nothing happen than i called again that they said you might have purchase or made any bill payment online but it was not true. after that i was countinously communication with the bank and branch even i lodged the complaint in police and summit the copy of the same but no action taken by the bak in 8 months, after this i received first responce thru email by bank that you might have disclosed your account details to some spam mail that why we can't reamburse your claim. But what surprises me is that i never gave my transaction password to anybody and still the fraudster could transfer funds from my a/c !Now look at it closely if your transaction password is protecting you and your money can not be taken from you even if your account details are revealed to the fraudster.The fraudster can never ask for transaction password untill they produce a fake copy of your account page which is impossible unless the has hacked the bank's server. I know that there are many people who have been blamed by the banks for their own loss of money but question remains - can this be done without an insider?

                              * even they are not ready to provide me benifiasiory name.
                              * i found payment has been transfer in account of tech process solutions Ltd. which is icici bank venture co.
                              * as per my obsevation they do intentionly, now only the option move to consumer court whare you can get the justis

                                I made part payment of Rs. 90, 000/- to ICICI Bank Home Finance, Chandigarh against my home loan account No. LHCHD[protected] vide reciept no. O[protected] dated 20.09.2008. When enquired on 18.02.2009 it is found that they have not deducted the part payment of Rs. 90, 000/- from the loan amount and charged interest on full amount for year 2008-09. I requested ICICI Bank HFC Chandigarh to settle my grievance and adjust the part payment of Rs.90, 000/- and not to charge the interest on full amount but all in vain. kindly take suitable action against the bank and direct them to settle the issue immediately and refund the excess amount charged by them.

                                    I have taken home loan from ICICI Bank with interest rate of 7.75% with floating rate in Dec. 2004 for 15 yrs tenure.
                                    Loan Amount-320000rs, EMI- 3013rs, Tenure- 15yrs.
                                    Now, periodically when the interest rates went up they increased my floating rates.
                                    And today i am paying with interest rate of 13.25%. for 26.8yrs with increase in tenure & even EMI.
                                    Loan Amount-320000rs, EMI-3447, Tenure- 26.8yrs.

                                    Now, the main story...
                                    when the market came down from last 6-months they are offering interest rate of 11.5% & surprisingly they are offering for only new customers to attract them.
                                    I am still paying with 13.25% interest rate. Nothing has happened even after visiting the bank.
                                    They have their policy when the interest rates go up they increase it but when the rates come down they don't lower it on floating rates for OLD CUSTOMERS. So, what is the meaning of floating rate we take...
                                    This bank never told me clearly about their policy while lending loan.

                                    I HATE THIS BANK POLICY
                                    SO NEVER TAKE A HOME LOAN FROM ICICI BANK LTD!!!

                                    Subject: Request for fix housing loan

                                    This is to the references to my housing loan a/c no: 2BMUM[protected] with the interest rate taken as 8.25/ which was a floating rate of interest. The loan was for a period of 5 years at a floating interest. Now since these years at the time when I have being paying the EMIs the rate of interest has followed from 7.25 to 13.25/. Which seem to be not justified at all, the bank also has not given any kind of information for any changing policy.

                                    I would like to talk to your Sr.Manager regarding my housing loan ASAP.Becouse it’s really being surprising me as want you people are charging the customer without any notice and information.

                                    I am looking out for low rate of interest where I can find some benefits for the same, Becouse this letter is being written to you people through my reference after talking to your head manager sitting at the icici house loan department at andheri east branch.

                                    I expect a call from your end at its earliest.

                                      I changed my mobile number in early Jan 2009 and immediately registered it with NDNC DND (do not disturb service).

                                      Subsequently, I updated my number with ICICI Bank where I have my SB account and also hold their credit card.

                                      As soon as ICICI got hold of my new number, they have shared this internally and using it extensively for their internal telemarketing calls.

                                      The last call I received from them was on 6 March 2009 at 17:09 hrs from number[protected] when I was in the midst of a very important company meeting.

                                      My mobile number is [protected] (Airtel - Karnataka).

                                      This is not acceptable and authorities should take strict action against ICICI Bank by way of penalty and compensating me for causing unprecedented damage to my business transaction meeting which was interrupted by their telemarketing call.

                                        ICICI flotaing rates are actually not flotaing...my rate is around 13.5% when the floating rates are around 9.5%. ICICI is a big cheat and manage this cheating by giving variation in discounts on the PLR & thus for new users give more discounts while not reducing the PLR. This results in old home loan users at the older lesser discounts and new users at the higher discounts.

                                        Later when you ask them, they suggest that user should pay some amount to get to the new discount rates which anyway after some time will match back to the higher rates. So even if you pay some % of peicipal now..slowly these cheats will make sure your rates go back to the higher level.

                                        ARE THEIR ANY GUIDELINES FROM RBI AGAINEST THESE CHEATS, OR RBI IS SOMEWAY BOUGHT ON TO THIS CHEATING.

                                        THESE PEOPLE ARE WORSE THEN THE MILKMEN WHO MIX WATER, ATLEAST THEY SAY THAT THEY MIX IT. HERE THESE SO CALLED MBA GRADS FROM TOP OF THE MANAGEMENT SCHOOLS CHEAT PUBLIC AND DO NOT ALSO CONFESS AND MAKE USE AL LEGAL LOOPOLES IN THE SYSTEM AND PUNISH LOW ABIDIDING COMMON PEOPLE.
