Dear Sir,
I had paid last installment of my personal loan in August-2008. Still I have got one SMS to pay installment(Rs. 649 aprrox) by 29th Sept, 2008. I have not got any statement yet for the same.
My credit card no. is [protected].
According to the statements that I got at the time of taking loan, the last installment was to be paid in the month of August-2008.
Please look into the matter and reply me immediately.

    ICICI, CREDIT CARD — Credit card statement who does not possess a credit card

    About an year and a half ago, I was approached by an ICICI agent regarding a credit card. I filled the application and attached all the necessary documents to it and was given a regn. number, but I never got the card. About three months after that I got a call saying that my application has been approved and said that it will be delivered in 7 working days. I rejected it because by that time I have applied for some other bank which processed my application in 15 days and delivered my card. So I never got my credit card. Recently I have been getting calls (more than 25 of them in the last 4 months) about my ICICI credit card which I never took and I have been saying the same to everyone. Today, I got a call from a courier agent saying that he has my credit card statement statement from ICICI and he is looking for my house. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am very disappointed at your service. I also have a debit account from your bank. I applied a loan and because you did not provide me an e-statement even after placing a request (which your bank boast of sending on the same day for which I have waited for 10 days making numerous calls but never got one...even today) and my loan got rejected due to this one reason and at a time when I direly needed money...Please take action immediately or else I have to cancel my debit account from your bank and even would like to take it up legally

    I am not getting regularly the monthly statements on line. Since I opted for receiving on line, I am not getting the statement through normal mail either. What a pity. How can you be so indifferent to your valued customers.

    i have received a letter from icici on dated 1st september in which it was written u have to pay
    2946, you can pay it by cash or cheque.
    since i had many long pending issue which was not answered to me when i was hospitalized for 2
    months. at last i decided to close the credit card account by paying full cash.
    so i paid cash. but again the bill has come that u paid by cash so u have to pay rs 175.38.after argument from cutomer care i didnot pay the bill. and next month again a late payment bill has come .can a explanation be made why u are giving letter with hidden cost
    if this was written in letter that u have to pay some extra cash i would have paid
    try to be an indian.

    CreditCard — statements arrive after closure of account

    dear sir,
    this is to inform you that i had requested for closure of my creditcard no [protected] .but i recieve statements with addind up the late fees every month and now its amounting to Rs3462.40.as on 03/12/08.
    PLEASE NOTE:i have made the last pending payment of Rs2854 on the15/10/2008.wide cheque no.4666000.HSBC BANK.

    To-day when I view my monthly statements I have observed that my credit points total 1099 is reduced w/o any intimation to me .In fact I have contacted your customer care about how to utilize but no satisfactory reply from them and now suddenly it has been reduced.

    Please note that I am credit card user for the last 6 years and have never any complain about your service it is always prompt and friendly but this time I'm totally unsatisfied.

    I am not receiving the credit card statement on the due dates, whenever the transaction is more the statement is sent just three days before the due date, this month I have not received the statement for the due date 5-4-09. Careless attitude of the officiails, malicious intention to include finance charges, late payment fee in the ensuing crredit card statements may also be the instruction or guidelines given unofficially, or non proper monitoring in sending the credit card statements through courier agencies or clandestine understanding with the courier agencies/postal authorities, by putting the blame on the courier agency. Kindly send the statement to my email address mentioned above.

    Currentely I am already running low on funds due to some medical problems in recent past.

    ICICI Future Credit Card — Difficult to reach for service

    I have ICICI future credit card.
    They have not sent me card pin, (which is required to reach customer call centre , hence I can't reach
    them over phone).
    My email address on their records is made up by themselves , hence I am not getting statements over email.
    Their online complaint booking has been giving errors.
    When I tried to make online payment, that also gave errors.
    Only option left to me is to visit an ICICI branch (and I am afraid, I might get an answer that for future card, please visit so and so place)
    Would they care to be more customer friendly, and reliable?

    After spending much time on ICICI site, I am still not able to find how to see my credit card statement online.
    Information on the site is only given for customers who have their Internet banking account and they can link their credit card to Internet banking.
    But what about credit card customers who have on bank account in ICICI bank.
    I am using credit cards from other banks too without having bank account with the bank. They have proper portal to see transactions and statement of my credit card with that bank.
    So disappointed with ICICI bank.
    GOD may punish this bank hard as after having these many complaints still they are not serious.

    Earler, online viewing credit card statement facility was there to access ICICI Bank credit card statement. Now, it is not working. Reason mentioned in website is that THE SITE IS UNDER MAINTENACE. How much time does it requires to restore it. It is almost 3-4 months since we last accessed statement online. It is also mentioned that above statement can be viewed by registering User ID. But, when we try to create USER ID, it is not accepting credit no. (only 12 digits can be entered ). When we try to contact them over phone ( TOLL FREE NO ), they disabled services. We do not expect such kind of services from reputed bank. RBI needs to look into these issues and impose penalties for not providing Min. Services like VIEWING CREDIT STATMENT, TOLL FREE NO ACCESS etc.

      i have never recieved the statement from the last 9 to 11 months and after complaning no action have been taken, while the time of collection when the amount has increased so much that it is out of our reach to pay by charging so much interst, late fee charges and overdues that we are not in a condition to pay them, then the bank sent the boys to our place who misbehave and give so many calls by using bad languages and mentally threatenig to our family by making their best efforts they can.Now comes the main matter that why should we pay so much penalties when we are not responsible for it and the bank and recovering agencies both are doing it delibratrly ther are playing game with their clients to recover as much money as they can by using any means of wrong thingsand harming the clients mentally, physically, social.So my request to u is that please detuct my penalties from the month of when i have not recieved the statement till now because till yet i haven't recieved any statement and stop them by giving abuse calls to my family members because they r not resposible for it as u know credit cards are made...my card no is.[protected]
      ITS MY REQUEST TO TAKE THE ACTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

      i have HDFC credit card [protected] my card is overdue & we are paying my dues on every month we made a request to make it instlament then they offer me one insurance free of cost latter on my statement shows tat they have charged the amt we made a request pl cancelled it & we will make entire amt in one short one of agency no [protected] & [protected] misbehave with me & my husband if bank is charged interest on it & nobody has a right to misbhave & make personal on it we have to pay the amount to bank the agency people using nonsense language pl look in to matter & help the need full.yosner

        Hi, i am dinesh narwal. I am working in Bharti Airtel ltd & Have salary account in ICICI bank. My issue is that I made a req. of Rs. 10000 from NFC new delhi ATM on 29 july arr. 8 pm. I did not get any money .my req. was rejected by ATM. But after 10 min. later i got a SMS from bank that Rs.10000 has been debited from my. account. i log a complain for the same issue on 30th july & got the assurance that they have initiated a chargeback for the mentioned transaction on the acquiring bank on August 07, 2008. The time for the other bank to confirm the status is 45 days from the date the chargeback is intiated.But till date no response.

        I have Allahabad Bank international debit card, which I tried to use in ICICI Bank ATM machine in Noida on 5th of October 2008, the machine delined the transaction, now today on checking my passbook I find that sum of Rs. 15020.00 is debited to my account towards ATM withdrawal. I have lodged a complaint with my bank and found out that this is happening only with ICICI Bank ATM machines regularly. It is better to stop using ICICI bank services.

        This bank claims to be best service provider but now Ifind that many cases related to bank in our office itself belongs to this ICICI bank only.

        I think we should stop our account with this bank and stop all transactions otherwise the day is not far that this bank will also become bankrupt like Lehman.

        ICICI Bank — cash discrepancy

        respected sir/madam,
        i tried to go and withdraw 6000 rs from my icici bank through ATM card in HDFC bank on 5th jan 2009 . when at the time of transaction there was an power failure and unfortunately the card was swallowed by the ATM and an cash of 12000 was debited from account . a cash of 6000 was already credited in my account and another 6000 was not yet credited in my account till date (6th feb 2009). each time i call up the customer care their attitude towards ne is really very pathetic. i want to file an complaint and as well as an compensation of 50000 for all the mental agony going through all this time . please do the needful

        I have ICICI Bank (VISA) debit card, which I tried to use in SBI ATM machine in Chetpet, Chennai on 7th, April of 2009, the machine says unable to process the account, now today on checking my account I find that sum of Rs. 600 is debited to my account toward ATM withdrawal. I have complaint with my bank, and this is the first time happening the SBI ATM machine. So please help to me.

          DEAR SIR,
          MY ICICI BANK CREDIT CARD NO.IS [protected] IN THE NAME OF SANJEEB BANERJEE.IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST 22ND 2007 ICICI BANK ISSUED A SETTLEMENT LETTER AGAINST ME AND THE LETTER HAS BEEN CARRIED BY THEIR DSA NAMED"QNS" AND BY THEIR COLLECTION AGENT NAMED ARSHAD.I BASICALLY BASED IN DURGAPUR(W.B.).
          I HAVE RECEIVED THE SETTLEMENT LETTER SHOWING TOTAL OUTSTANDING OF RS/- 44, 000.AND THESE HAS TO CLEAR BY THREE INSTALMENT.
          1ST INSTALMENT I HAVE PAID RS/-18, 000 AND NEXT 2ND AND THIRD INSTALMENT I HAVE PAID RS/- 13, 000 EACH.BY THIS WAY I HAVE CLEARED MY ENTIRE DUES OF MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT.
          BUT, AFTER THAT IT IS ALMOST PASSED 1 YEAR AND EVERY TIME WHEN I ASKED THE QUESTION THAT WHERE IS MY 0 BALANCE STATEMENT THEY EVERYTIME TOLD ME THAT WITHIN NEXT MONTH YOU WILL RECEIVE EVERYTHING.
          NOW, WHEN I HAVE APPLIED FOR A CAR LOAN THROUGH HDFC BANK AFTER THE CIVIL CHECK UP THEY TOLD ME THAT STILL RS/-86, 000 OUTSTANDING SHOWING FOR THIS CREDIT CARD ITSELF.AND FOR THAT THEY HAVE REJECTED MY APPLICATION ALTHOUGH I HAVE DIPOSITED THE SETTLEMENT LETTER AS WELL AS THE 44, 000 RS/-DEPOSITED CASH MEMO WHICH THE BANK HAS GIVEN TO ME.

          Hi,

          Could you please help me out for my similar kind of issue.

          I had 25K total balance. But ICICI promised to settle my account for 17K. I had given the cheque also in one shot.

          But, after receiving the 17K cheque, they have blocked my salary account for whole 25K.

            ICICI Bank will always offer the lowest rate in the market for new customers and as such they gain the maximum market share since a lower interest rate easily attracts customers since its a life time investments for most and even a small difference in the interest rate makes a BIG difference.

            The interest rate is pegged to a PLR (Prime Lending Rate) so they usually offer a higher discount to the PLR to new customers and therefore resulting into offering a lower interest rate than the market.

            Once the customer has availed of the loan, thats when the real story unfolds. For a floating interest rate loan, the PLR only goes up and never goes down!!! At the slightest tightening of the CRR or SLR, the PLR is increased and as such your floating interest rates increase. Not much can be done by the customer since the PLR has gone up and discount %age from the PLR is constant or fixed as per the agreement.

            But whenever the interest rates in the market go down in the market due to the liquidity increase or other factors, the PLR remains constant but the discount rate for ONLY the new customers is increased as such bringing the effective rate of interest for them lower than what the older customers are paying!!!

            So many time you will find, as a old and loyal customer, you are paying almost 4% higher ROI than what a new customer is paying to teh same bank for the same loan.

            Also, since there are penalties involved with prepayment and also, reluctance of customers to change banks due to the large sums of money involved with home loans, the customer keep losing Large Amounts of money due to this cunning strategy of the Bank!!!

            i had tacken 2 weeler loan in your icici bank in year of 2005,
            my loan a/c no - LTBNG[protected]. BYKE NO - KA03 ET-4676,
            the loan amount was arround 65k,
            i made all the payment(emi), in 12 months,
            now they are saying on more emi is pending Rs, 4650, + intrest, and they had taken my byke,
            now they are asking me to pay 11, 000. what should i do now, only for one month EMI i have to pay this much of amount? (Rs.11, 000), and i dont have this much amount. PLEASE DO THIS FAVER TO ME.

            I agree with article to the fullest.. I took the ICICI loan and now the interest rate is 11.5 (even after twice in the loan tenure i have paid 5000 to reduce the interest rate, without that it would have been 12.75).

            I have therefore never ever recommanded anyone ICICI bank. I do believe ICICI is the most un-ethical bank i have ever banked with. they will show the carrot and then once hooked will exploit to the fullest. I am about to take the second home loan and this time i have even bothered to ask/enquire about the ICICI offfer, simple reason I am more than confident that they will cheat their customers again and again. Now i will be there new customer but after year or two i will the "unfortunate Loyal Customer".

            Take any example, remittance they are the the one who offered the least exchnage rate but their advert is the most beautiful especially with Shahrukh.
            I have prepaid the ICICI bank loan on 4th July 2008 as a takeover from India's leading public sector bank SBI. Though the amount was paid the original documents are yet to be received by me. Repeated queries at the customer care and the branch franchise I learned that the last four EMI's which were paid in the form of SBI PDC's have not be received by them. The last four PDC's have been cleared from my end and also my bank's end, but don't know where this funds are parked and misused. No body is responsibly answering my questions. Hence kindly let me know how to go about it, since there is no way beyond the customer care to contact a ICICI official, from whom I should clear this loan to get back my documents. Kindly help me to know th route to find it out at the earliest.

            Home Loan from ICIC Bank, Car loan from ICICI Bank, Personal loan from ICICI Bank or any dealing with ICICI Bank.

            Warning- do not take any loan from ICICI Bank. Taking loan from ICICI bank is like inviting the shark to bite you hard. This is one large cheat bank. They make fool of customers by offering attractive terms and then as soon as you have signed the agreement, the arm twisting starts. Beware of ICICI Bank ! They are the modern day ' kanhaiya lals'. They truly deserve a hard beating and its not far away. Very soon this bank is going to realise how agonising it has been for their loan customers...

            Yes i agree. ICICI bank's strategy is cheat the users as much as you are allowed due to loopholes in the regulation.. initially you may think its a good bank when its offering loans at low rates. however soon it will hike them and sustain them at higher levels than other banks to rob you of your money.. Look at present.. Bank of Baroda is offering loans at 8 percent and do you know how much icici bank is charging...13.5 percent from existing customers.. the question is what can we do about it except spreading public awareness?

              sir, ICICI BANK is the bank which gives miscomitment to coustomer. 1st of all they took my ac by saying zero balance mantanince and now they r charging amount for no balance in my account. plz solve my problem.
              ICICI is the one of HOPELESS bank in india.
              I strongly agree, i lost 50k due to wrong information on policy details by credit card phone banking person. He actually cheated me while selling policy by giving wrong information on payment terms.
              later i had to struggle a lot to cancel those policy payments. Even after my endless calls to them to sort out my problem on one policy payment even after cancellation they just assure and not even issue a complaint no to me. This is biggest financial blunder i did in whole life, they are biggest cheaters in Indian banking system and strange thing is govt is also sleeping even after getting so many information about complaints.
              if you want peace just remove icici from your life there are so many other banks reliable and faithful.

                ICICI bank is not listening to my proble. The details of my problem are mentioned below which are self explanatory. Pl help us to get the justice. The correspondance details which I made with ICICI Bank are as under.

                Pl refer to our telephonic conversation 18.09.08 as under:

                I am paying my installments of Rs 417/- regularly every month. I delayed to pay my installments for 5-7 days in three occasions out of which once I have paid the interest with late fee of Rs 350/- also. I have not paid the late fees for the two other occasions as I have felt that such charges are not genuine and had asked you waive off by my mail dated 11.05.08.

                I was shocked to know that the installment of Rs 417/- which I am paying regularly every month is not adjusted toward my installment. The bank is adjusting my installment amount towards outstanding of late fees and showing in their records that I have not paid the installment. Due to this bank is again charging late fees and as of today they make the outstanding amount of Rs 3179 where as I have paid all my installment in time. Except in three occasions I have delayed for 7-10 days.

                In back side of each of my cheque I have written "installment for the month of", how my installment amount can be adjusted toward late fees that too without my knowledge and also at the same time make me defaulter by not paying installments in time and charging more money towards late fee and interest. Also bank has never communicated in regard to adjusting installment amount in late fees.

                More apart from that bank has not replied to my mail dated 11.05.08 followed by reminder dated 24.05.08. When I have written strong mail to customer care on dated 15.09.08, I received a standard reply on 15.09.08 that "We tried to contact you but could not establish the contact. We request you to confirm your mobile number for further assistance." The bank has my landline no. On every installment I am putting my mobile no in bank slip. How it is possible that they could not be able to make contact with us. Why they haven't has asked my mobile no in reference to my mail of 11.05.08 it self. More apart from that bank says monthly credit card statement is the reply of your complain letter.

                Many times statements have not come though I am depositing my installment every month as I know my responsibility very well.

                I had purchased the camera on 22.06.07, logically I have to pay installment every month before 22nd of every month but I am seeing that due date of installment gets reduced every month and now it has come from 22 to 21 to 20 to 19 to 18 to 17. What is this calculation? Because this reason I get delayed in giving my installment for 1-2 days.

                I have asked to give me the statement mentioning cheque no, cheque date, cheque amount and deposited date but customer care refused to give me the same. As right for information act the bank should provide me such statement so that if require I can to talk to bank officials with reference to that.

                Since bank has not answered my complain by mail dated 11.05.08, I requested customer care to settle my account by putting 11.05.08 as cut off date for settlement of dues. The customer care has refused to do the same.

                I have asked customer care to give me the mail id of higher official to whom I can talk with in this matter, the customer care didn't provide the same to me.

                The bank is forcing me to become an defaulter that too in the event where I am paying my installments regularly every month. If bank's stand is not going to change, then I have no option other than I pay my balance installment in one glance. As per my record I have paid installment up to sep'08. Also if bank feels they are free to spoil by credit history. I still expect that my bank will come with an amicable solution and the solution will be definately favorable to its gold card customer.

                Pl find the copy of my mail dated 11.05.08 to customer care in regard to outstanding amount against my credit card. I wish to inform that I am regular in paying my installments against the purchase of camera in 0% interest scheme. Three times I delayed to make payment for 7-10 days and once I had also paid the late fee of Rs 350/-. My ICICI Bank has now made outstanding of more than Rs 3000/- towards late fee. One side we are told that we are a gold customer for the bank by issuing a gold card and on the other hand we are forced to feel that the bank is robbing us. From the credit card services point of view the definition of customer in my eyes is now take cust and mar. More apart from that I even didn’t get the reply of my mail dated 11.05.08 from your customer care office. Your customer care call center is absolutely meaningless. He talks like a parrot. Your local banks did not entertain any credit card complains. Such infrastructure of customer care is been made by the bank intentionally so that customer can not do any thing by complaining locally with bank’s branch office resulting in increase in outstanding amount which is the sole purpose of the bank in order to earn more. In other terms the white paper method for robbing the customer. I have used the credit card for the first time for the purchasing of camera in 0% interest and it is unfortunate that bank’s mentions 0% interest in product leaflet if purchased through ICICI credit card but at same time never mentions about the late fee or rules or other hidden charges. I am very much disappointed as the camera, which I purchased in 0% interest scheme, do you feel that one will pay 36% more amount towards late fee or any hidden charges. Also while opening credit cards your representative never talks about the late fees nor negative points or rules about the credit card. They talk only positive points to increase their sales. In fact there is no transparency in the credit card business. More apart from that they just take signature on the blank form. Any way I am very much disappointed and therefore I am surrending my credit card in 4 pieces by dropping the same in drop box at Vallabh Vidyanagar branch. I have made up a mind to not to pay any extra charges, if required I will take this case to your Chairman or Director, Consumer Court, RBI, Finance Ministry and Media. I would also like to see what benefits does my bank give to a gold card customer or what is the mission and quality policy or objectives does my bank have from customer point of view. Is it justified that one side Government of India is waiving the loans of our “Kissan Bhai” and other side my bank ICICI are finding out the unethical ways, methods and means to earn money? Kindly settle my account immediately.

                My credi card no is [protected]. I have avail the facility of credit card for the purchase of kodak camera on o% finance sceme. The monthly installment was Rs 417/- for two years. I was not able to pay instalment in time for couple of days for which I had paid Rs 350/- towards the late fee once. Simultaneously again for two months I had delayed in payment for couple of days due to my out station trip and for which again I was charge late fees and I have not paid because when I had purchased the camera on o% finance sceme and also I was not made aware about this late fee transactions during the purchase either by bank throgh leaflets or by shopkeeper. I had delayed in payment of few days only i.e 7-10 days. Due to this little delay I had also given the instalment in advance in order to compensate this little delay on my account. Since it is a o% finance scheme, how late fee can be charged? If anything has to be charged is the interest for the delay period for Rs 417 only. Any how I have paid once and I am not willing to pay further.

                I have received a letter from bank (ref no cc/28-03/35868 dated 08.04.08) stating oustanding amount of 1650.71 where as I have completely paid instalments upto April'08. Also your letter says that non-adherence of the same may impact your credit history and we may share this with credit bureaus. In this regard I would request you to kindly wave of my late payment fees and this is possible as it has been done to many cutomers against valid reason, as per the statement of banks represensative in counter. So I once again request you to do the needful.

                Secondly I have gold privelage card with good money transactions through savings account, salary account demat account, mutual fund and life term pension policies. Hope looking to my substancial money transactions with your bank, hope my request will be considered.

                In case my request is not considered, pl inform me I will pay the full balance amount but not the late fees. Also I have to close my credit card with all money transactions through my accounts like saving, salary, demat, mutual funds, pension plans etc. Also you are free to share this to credit bureaus.

                ICICI Credit Card — Irrelevant Charges charged on the card

                My card's limit is Rs 20000/- I have been charged an intrest of Rs 200000/- which was a system generated mistake. After my complaint the same was reversed after a month and for the same I have been chraged a penalty of Rs 10000/- . I would request to intervene into this and help me resolve this at the earliest.

                  Sometime ago, I found myself in ICICI fraud...
                  I called many times to thier cutomer care departmen..but they were not listening... One time i used call recorder and recorder all their suggestions and thier rude behaviour...
                  After listening their own voice they resoved all matter within a few days...
                  Record watever they say and go to consumer care, , , or AWAAJ channel... or media...
                  dnt trust them they will not solve your problem...they already have about 32000 unresolved issues...
                  Just gather the suffiecient proof and go to media or consumer form...
                  and one suggestion before taking any new service from any company read carefully their rule and regulations...
                  I am holding ICICI savings (salary) a/c. Few days back, they offered me the FlexiCash Overdraft facility. Without knowing much details, I agreed and signed the application form and submitted the same. Now, it is in the verification process.                   My account no. is[protected], i deposited a cheque of aprox.Rs 5lacks, for clearence., on 9th of jan 2009 which was of state bank of india(muktsar) till now i don't know the whereabouts of my cheque, every time i go the bank, there is a new story the employees tell me. the female staff posted in sec 35-C is not at all co-operative, they answer u back as i[censored] have done eveteasing, i[censored] go and ask them any querry regarding your account. the manager over there says, 'NOT MY PROBLEM', kindly do something regarding my problem, and mend the ways of your employees posted in 35-c branch, chandigarh.

                  This is ICICI new trick to generate revenues. If you have Quantum Optima account and you are supposed to maintain QAB ( quarterly average balance) of Rs. 10000/ it means QAB of Rs.10000/ available balance and does not account for linked FD balance. In my case I had maintained average of Rs.15000/ on total available balance ( i.e vailable balance and linked FD balance) in third month I had to withdraw Rs.18000/ and the FD had to be broken but the total available balance as well as available balance dropped to about Rs.2000/ for the third month. While working out QAB my total available balance of Rs.15000/ for two months was not considered and as a result the QAB worked out to be less than Rs.10000/. This is another ICICI trick. BEWARE

                    From last one month I am requesting ICICI Bank Customer Care Serive to provide policy document for interest calculation mechanism based on part payment done by Home loan customer. But am deeply pain to state that they can't provide such basic policy document. I think they can’t provide policy document due to 3 reasons.

                    (1) ICICI Bank is not such mature bank, which have policy document for interest calculation mechanism based on part payment done by Home loan customer
                    (2) ICICI Bank follows unfair trade practices and unscrupulous exploitation of customer
                    (3) ICICI Bank customer care is useless who can’t provide the policy documents which ICICI Bank have already provided to them and willing spoiling brand name and goodwill of ICICI Bank in competitive market.


                    I hope to get fruitful response with policy document from Customer Care department of

                    ICICI Bank is one of the worst bank to deal with whether its bank accounts, home loan, Credit Cards, or some other products. I really have never heard ICICI bank reducing interest rates from last 4/5 years. RBI should strictly look into this matter and save customers of ICICI bank. I started my home loan in 2003 @8.00 and now ICICI bank is looting me with interest rate @14.00. When you contact them they have standard answers like you have opted for floating rate and PLR is taken into consideration which is as per government and RBI rules. God please help ICICI Customers.

                      But few day back i have get following mail from icici direct

                        I am facing some problems with ICICI Bank Personal Loan I have taken on my wife's name. I am providing my correspondence with so called "Genuine Bank" (or "Day light Robbers"??? you decide). I hope you will understand the issue and will not repeat the mistake I did. (of having any kind of relations with ICICI Bank)

                        Here is wht I wrote to ICICI Banks Customer Services

I received a call from some o[censored]r executive in the month of june 2008 regarding some pre approved loan of Rs.1 lac. where he mentioned that the said amount will be credited into my account No.[protected] if I take said loan, and the EMI of around Rs. 2900 will be debited from the same amount from July 2008 onwards. I agreed & taken the said "loan".

                        In the month of July I deposited around Rs. 3000 in my said Account No.[protected]. later on I came to know It has not been yet debited & the amount is still in my account only.

                        Next month I made a call at your call centre, regarding the same, and Now they tell me I have to activate some auto debit facility to do that.(where the hell is that guy, who said my EMI will be directly debited?).I thought that's fine, I will pay it through cheque this time, & asked about the account No. to be written on the cheque to an employee of the bank, who instructed tht the account no. is same one that is for the credit card([protected]).I use to travell a lot & so I dont see the statements regularly & I follow the messages you send to my mobile. So I deposited the cheqhe of EMI of Rs.4683 along with my regular credit card payment cheque of Rs.13318. You can find the details in my A/c No. [protected] as on 9th August, 2008. Where u will find that I m the only who paid advance of Rs.4683 for my credit card payment (the exact amount that was supposed to be paid in my loan A/c No.[protected]) before even puchasing anything though your credit card for the applicable period. Usually people enjoy credit & the pay on bill date, & surprisingly I paid in advance !!! thanks to the guy at your desk in the bank who makes us wait into the line till the token no. comes & without going into details gives solutions. Amazing !!!

                        Not over yet, Your people started to give us call for payment of EMI. Meanwhile My father died in Rajkot & I was busy with the issues relating to that. But leaving all those things I had to check with your bank & the credit card department regarding all this mess-up, as I am bound to do as a customer of your "esteemed" bank.(Eventhough I paid cheques of ICICI Bank only, Your departments can not solve this inter-departmental mess-up). Finally I found wht you wanted, when I went back to my place in Ahemedabad and seen your statements. Charges of Around Rs. 2400 in my tenure of 3 months of loan with an EMI of Rs. 2900 odd. Very Nominal !!! that too for the mistake the representatives of your bank made.

                        One more issue- I have noticed that there are some Interest charges you have levied in my A/c No.[protected] around Rs. 32 or so. I went to your regional office for all these issues. & they said the the charges in the form interest of Rs. 32 are levied because of late payment of partial amount. Do you know wht was the partial amount I could not pay as I was not in Ahmedabad & I instructed someone else to pay on my behalf? Rs. 0.36 !!! the bill amount was Rs. 13318.36 & I paid Rs. 13318. (also Rs. 4683 by mistake) I can not understand how it can still show an unpaid amount of Rs. 0.36 still. & even if it shows, how can u ask for an interst amount of Rs. 32.43 on the dues of Rs. 0.36 for a period of one month ??? I am a C.A. & MBA in Finance, but this calculation was far beyond my entire life's knowledge. Wht is the rate do you charege for interest.

                        No wondor as anything can happen with the name "ICICI" !!! regreat dealing with your bank-especially credit card (I want to surrender)

                        Finally I want to say that, I am ready (as I was ever) to pay all my EMIs "the way you want" (Auto Debit/Cheque/Cash) but please this time accept my EMI. And also revise all the chareges & interest which you have charged UNETHICALLY to all my accounts.(without reversal of charges I will not pay anything)

                        As per the statement of September 15, 2008, the total amount due is Rs.12990.17 and the due date is 03/10/2008. We request you to make the payment of the dues as per the statement to avoid any financial charges on your credit card.

                        If you can notice, they did not mention anything about the actual issue of around charges or Rs.2400 and resolved the issue of around Rs. 32 charges. Amazing !!! & when I asked them to send me the final settlement amount (because I dont want to continue any relationship with ICICI Bank any more) they did not reply till now. I am waiting for my next statement to come when they lay more charges for outstanding amount even though I am ready to pay their entire amount


                        Beware when you make any transactions with ICICI Bank Ltd.

                        Iam confused with icici credit card billings.i cancelled my icici lombart and i dont do any transactions in last three months but the billings are same and the main thing i dont understand what is EMI PRINCIPAL actual my previous amt 16, 315.48 and i paid 3, 500 and cancelation of lombart amt CR is 2, 344 and overall i paid 6, 232 rupees out of 16, 315-6, 232=10, 083 but your bill shows me the amt total amt due is 14, 770 and you have to pay min due is 1, 480 and in bill they sent EMI PRINCIPAL 4, 037 plese tell me what is this

                          I submitted Account Opening Form in ICICI Bank, Shalimar Bagh Branch, New Delhi on 30.08.2008 regarding Zero-Balance Savings Account to be linked to my Demat Account held with DP-Religare Securities Limited. I was handed a Welcome kit containing ATM Card, Cheque Book etc. with the assurance the same will get activated in 3-4 days time.
                          I am following the branch and customer care for the same for last 10-15 days. In this regard, Customer Care advises to contact branch while branch executives daily gives the assurance to wait for one more day and the same will get activated. Nothing has changed for the last 10-15 days and I am feeling helpless and bearing losses as I am unable to trade. I am very much mentally disturbed by the poor services of ICICI Bank and false assurance given by their executives. May I request you to kindly do the needful in this regard at the earliest?

                          ICICI Savings account — Very Very Poor Service of Banking.

                          I opened up a Savings A/c with ICICI bank to operate my Demat A/c
                          When i opened up the Account the Banking Executives promised me that the A/c which i am signing up would be a 0 Balance A/c
                          Which was a lie from the bank executive
                          Now the A/c has some minimum balance which has to be maintaned. Now when ever i deposit cash with the bank a minimun of 150.00 Rs INR Gets debitted

                          Now this month April a Maximum of 800.00 Rs has been debited
                          Also i have E.mailed ICICI Bank about the same
                          If i would not hear from them i would file an complaint with the Banking Ombudsman

                          Note: Please be aware when you open any relationship with ICICI bank
                          Because you never know what happens after opening the a/c

                          ICICI Bank — Credit card activation required

                          I ahd very very bad & unaccpecteable experince with the ICICI bank. The bank has deacivated my credit card for non payments of some amount. After talking to the bank officals, they has finlzed the setelment amount & i have already paid this amount of Rs.45, 500 in two parts but still the bank hasn't activated my card till date, more importantly the bank has deducted Rs.11500 form my account after reciving the amount with the best known reasons to the bank & when i enquired about these deduction the bank officals has no answer or reply. This is not accpectable on the part of the bank which is supposed to be on e of the top banking orgainzations in India.

                          I had applied for saving and demat account with ICICI bank in may 2008. I have give all documents required. But by mistake of bank agent my address was wrong update in bank record. when i raise the complain to home branch in "BHARUCH -Gujarat". They reply that call customer care and give address change application. Application for address change was submited in 22 june 2008. As per home branch officer my address is changed in system. But still today i havn't received any documents related to my account. And when i am requesting for documents. Band is replying that my documents are sent to old/wrong address. After 5 months still condition is same.

After many follow up with R.N.Mukharjee Road Branch I recd my cheque book and ATM card on 21.11.08 and also requested for address change with sufficient documents. When I visited branch office on 4.12.08 for activation of card found no address change was made.and also there is problem through call center(help line )no for activation of card. I have not recd. my pin no also. Please look into the matter.

                          I would not agree to this because as per my personal experience customer complains/rejection of accounts are communicated to customer and after completion of pendencies account activation is done. Mine was a similar case as my form had a cutting that required authentication. Bank Officials contacted me and got the needful done and got my account activated.I am enjoying the services as on date.

                          I had taken a Instant Visa debit card from ICICI Belgaum on 12Feb 2011.It was clearly mentioned that it would take 24 hrs to activated the same.Now its the 3rd day.Its not activated but the amount for the card is already what you can say is snatched from my account.The card is inactive and the 221 Re is charged for the ATM.I hae informed the call center of the bank.When the bank itself is worst how do you expect the call center to be good.Is it not the bank ashamed of this.I suggest other consumers to go for some State banks not with these cheaters ICICI.

I submitted all document customer devlopment manager MR.JITENDER RAWAL he said your account activate within 10 days i agree with Mr. Jitender Rawal.I planned for share trading and i received credit amount 20, 000/= from market with instrest @10% per month.I am waited 12 days but no responce from icici direct i call customer care his said your form is not submitted in center please you contact branch.I call 12/7/08 to mayapuri branch manager he said i call after 2 days. I wait 2 days but no responce i just call after 3 days no responce from branch maneger.I lodged complaint [protected]@icicidirect.com after lodged complaint prasserised to mr. Jitender Rawal and submitted our form on dated 29/8/08 and our form is reject on dated 1/9/08 for minor correction. I contact MR.JITENDER RAWAL and new form no.                               i have applied for a personel loan on 18th september 08 with icici bank on behalf of the existing relationship ( loan applied on behalf of my car loan track)i have with icici bank ltd ( i have - more then 2 year old car loan and 2 more then 18 month old personel loan from icici bank ltd).
                              i am making regular payment for all three loans and there is no ECS bouncing in any of three, as i am in need of some money i have applied for another PL as i have been told that one person can avail up to three Pl, i have submitted my bank statement which has my all payment track, i am paying my all installment via ECs and all ECS clearance status is reflecting in my bank pass book,
                              in lieu to the same i applied for PL and which i have been informed by the icici bank call centre that the same application been rejected and the reason informed to me by the bank call centre is THAT IS IRREGULAR PAYMENT TRACK, i am a regular payor and have not even a single pending installment due and no ECS returned till date..
                              i have asked the call centre to take a complaint for the same and request you to look into this as well.
                              as this will effect my crediblity also duly ask you to ask the bank to relook my application i made for PL

                                  I am a customer with ICICIpulife, holding some policies, for smart kids and for Lifetime super. Through the web access I was not able to access all the policies. Therefore, I have registered for the same twice, (Req. ID. CRD43215, CRD43216, once I did not note the request ID). Then thrice I have contacted through mail. Twice they have given me the new pass words, but still the condition is the same. The two policies which are not featured in the website, I never receive the premium receipt for Policy # 04681033 and the premium notice for policy # 06397068 regularly. I do not know
                                  whether the customer care is really concerned about the customers or not. I receive SMS every month that they have dispatched the receipts, but I never receive it regularly. And in spite of all these not even one customer care executive has ever contacted me, though I was informed through the mail that they will do. The two E-mail ID which was given to the grievence cell (jaspreet.[protected]@iciciprulife.com, and [protected]@iciciprulife.com) seems to be wrong becuse it did not deliver the mail which I had send. Hope that, atleast this will solve my problem at the earliest.

                                  I had enquired the premium amount of above noted Policies in Dec.2008. At that time I was told that Premium for Policy No. 362706 ( In the name of my wife, Mrs. Inderjit Kaur Oberoi) is Rs.9991/- and for Policy No.[protected] In my name, Iqbal Singh Oberoi) is Rs.10125/- and both will be due on 05.03.2009. As you are well known that the Service Tax has been reduced to 10.30% since last week. Today when I enquired the premium amount from Customer Care Centre, they have told the same amount. When I asked why it was not reduced as the Service Tax is reduced to 10.30%, they have given the following reply:-

                                  1. We do not know about the change of Service Tax.
                                  2. You deposit the same amount and we will credit the excess amount in your Policiy.
                                  3. The Service Tax will be reduced from 01.04.2009.

                                  Sir, the customer care persons do not know about the things I have enquired. Instead, they gave false information. Please look into the matter and advise them not to give such type of information. Secondly please send me by mail the exact amount of premium of both Policies.

                                  I am having a policy with ICICI Prulife. Policy num is 02590933.
                                  I have submitted a request for surrender of my policy on 30.06.2009.
                                  But they proceed it on 02.07.2009. After that i request to submit that amout in my bank account 082340 of rajasthan bank ltd. which they agree and send me confirmation to deposit money on 11.07.2009.
                                  when i contacted ICICI PRU life on 13.07.2009 they told me that there is a problem in NEFT and ICICI send me a cheque at my home address which they are telling me that it will be delivered on or before 22.07.2009.
                                  sir you can understand that these banks are just enjoying customer money without paying them interest and harrasing them.

                                  I think there are some misunderstanding betwean the advisor and customer. The company policies are very tranceperient. I am also advisor of ICICI Pru. from last three and half years. I have no any unsatisfied customer.

                                  And I also want to suggest to customer please don't buy a policy for more rebate in commission, in that case the agent my be careless in future about you. Don't get more greedy. Don't think anout unecessory expectation from any one.                                     I have applied for OF withdraw at PF Office Gurgaon, They have sent to cheques one is for EPF and another
                                    for PF to My Account number, ICICI Bank Manesar Branch. But i have received only one transaction in my
                                    account . Means only one cheque has been credited .

                                    I have done lots of followup with PF office and Bank. Finaly i have seen Bank Statement at PF office where
                                    both the cheques has been debited from their account .

                                    But the ICICI Bank is still saying that they have not received perticular cheque. even Both the cheques have been sent through same envelop . and have beed debited from PF Accounts.

                                    I am unable to understand How it happened.

                                    am an A/c holder with you'r bank, on 1st of December a fraud transaction has taken place within my A/c.
                                    I have a salary A/c with ICICI bank which was opened by the organization where im working.I was in need of money, so I had applied for a personal loan online through ICICI website.
                                    Then i got a revert from icici cust care that they cannot offer me a personal loan.
                                    So, i contacted a loan agent, who use to come regularly out side our office campus. So, i told him that im in need of personal loan above or nearby Rupees 1, 00, 000 (one lakh). He told me that he will submit my loan application with all the possible Banks and he will let me know as soon as he get revert from any one of them.
                                    So, in regards to that he asked me to submit few documents .i.e:-

                                    1) salary slip (last 3 months)
                                    2) pan card (photostat)
                                    3)Address proof
                                    4)Bank statement for last 4months
                                    5) Two Photographs.

                                    I submitted all these documents and after few days he told me that my file has been approved by HDFC bank and the amount is same and the intrest % will be 18%. And i agreed with that. Howevr he said for that he need a Cheque from my side for FIFTY RUPEES, which i gave him. (cheque # 141806).

                                    On 1st of december my salary was credited for near by SEVENTEEN THOUSAND RUPEES. and in the evening i recieved a mesage from ICICI bank on my mobile tht :-
                                    ur Ac xxxxxx528919 is debited INR15, 000.00 on 01 Dec. Info: CASH PAID : SELF.

                                    I called up your ICICI callcenter #[protected] / [protected] and i conformed about the same and the agent told me that 15, 000 rs has been taken out of the A/c with the help of self cheque. and when i conformed the cheue number it was the same which i issued for rs 50 (FIFTY).

                                    Then i took the branch addres from where the amt was withdrawn and the addres is mentioned below:-

                                    ICICI BANK
                                    RGCP CENTER
                                    plot # 4
                                    Community Center
                                    Motiya Khan,
                                    Pahar Ganj

                                    I went to that branch to see the cheque, i informed the same thing to the person concerned and from there i got a photo-copy of the same Cheque.

                                    It can be clearly Seen on the cheque tht someone has scrached on the cheque and has change the amount from fifty Rupees to Fifteen Thousand.
                                    Howevr the cashier was not able to recognize that. and if tht cheque has been scrached with anything and as i sd it is clearly visible, So its the cashiers responsibility for ask for the signature for the conserned person or should have given a call as the amout is so big.

                                    when i told the same thing to the Branch Manager "PIYUSH RANJAN" he as not at all ready to accept his staffs mistake. Rather he told me to mail him the reciept for the acknowledgement for the documents which i had submitted to that loan agent my my one of the ID proof. and afret that he will send all the relavent information to the investigation team and will also file an FIR with the nearest police station.

                                    I am not concerned or Bothered about any of the procedure you follow, all i need is my money back.

                                    Either Ineed a quick responce from your end or i am going to file a case against ICICI bank in CONSUMER COURT for this as I am being MENTALLY HARRASED.
                                    And i am sure that i will not be penalised for this as this not my mistake, this is the mistake made by the bank staff, (CASHIER) who accepted the cheque.
                                    ICICI Bank, Saibaba Nagar handed to a fraud who intercepted a cheque sent by post addressed to Goa and made payable to an association a sum of money which was under £50K without asking for any identification. ICICI have been unwilling to take responsibility for their action on the basis that sums under £50K and without the two diagonal lines across the corner of the cheque to indicate payee only. My arguments that I have had to provide identification to withdraw my own money, for a mobile phone connection, etc, etc were declined. I do not understand how Reserve Bank can be so complacent about sums under £50k which can be a great sum of money to a customer whilst this may not be for a bank, so the bank thinks! If this is the case, why is ICICI bank reluctant to compensate me with this sum of money? Reserve bank needs to look into their policies and banks need to take full responsibility especially when the video clip showed that the bank clerk had taken quite some time to look at the cheque and had some doubts but made no attempt to request for identification.

                                    I put in a request for an FIR and have not heard anything. Its been over a year. BE CAREFUL CUSTOMERS USING ICICI.

                                      my company name shri ram trading co.a/c no.[protected] in icici bank sadar bazar bracnh in delhi-6.
                                      bank debit around Rs.32000/-penal interest in my a/c witout any information. I submitted all renwal papers on time but bank officers not conciderd on time.bank recived my papers than valuation on my house on 03.04.2008 as per date given on section letter dt.7th july 2008.bank login file no de0415-del[protected]dt 23.04.2008 login in bank site.than bank debit penal interest in my a/c tottaly wrong because i submitted papers on time given by bank.please send me draft on this amount in my name. any further details please call me [protected]
