I applied for a 3-in-1 savings and demat account on 12th January 2008 with one sales person called
Mr. Venugopal (mobile: [protected]) which is still in "Processing stage".

The response from the people working are absolutely not acceptable and really absurd. After 20 days of patient waiting without even being called by the sales person or whomsoever from the bank, I met the Consumer complaints manager in ICICI Alwarpet informed that they cant take the ownership and send me to ICICI so called main office at Mount Road (opposite to Sun-TV office) at chennai.

We contacted one Mr. Manigandan (mobile: [protected]) who informed that the entire process will be completed in 4 working days time which was 5th February 2008.

I recieved the savings account number, but again no response for the Demat account. Even for savings account I received the card and account details only on 9th February 2008.

After calling the worst ever consumer complaints number ([protected]), I really wasted around 4 hours of my working time talking to Raja, Maichel (customer service ppl), who were not able to connect the call to the escalation managers (Gilbert, Pasha, Anoop).

Through the call, I was able to talk to one manager (I dont even know if he is) called Gilbert who said my process would end by 12th February without fail.

Today, 14th February 2008, after 1 month I am still not able to get answers for my complaint, neither proper response or timeline by when I would receive the demat account user id and password.

People are sitting in Hydrebad, without direct contact numbers and to reach a manager it takes 45 minutes of time. Contact number of Gilbert (Extn: 4142), Pasha (Extn: 4194), Anoop (Extn: 4195).

Just because a bank is established, they are taking people for granted and playing with the valuable time without knowing the need of people.

I am raising this complaint with utmost hope after spending so much of time and undergoing mental pressure about the same just to receive some response from you and to take this forward to ICICI bank to make them realise "Customers are Valuable" and CANNOT BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED.

I hope this complaint would have some value.

Hi All,
This is to bring to your notice that I have been in constant communication with ICICI Bank with regards to Fraud Detection on my Credit Card number [protected] in the month of June 2008 for approx. Rs. 44, 000/-. I have been referred to different people and I politely did what was told to me by the authoroties involved with this case. However today (28th Feb 2009)the entire amount was debited from my Salary Account and I did not get any salary (My salary of Rs. 22081/- For the month of February ). Apart from this my account still has a deficit of approx Rs. 40000/-
I have mantained very good relationship with the bank with regards to all my transactions. I have paid my Loans (Loan A/c No. LPMUM[protected]) and EMI’s before time on this credit card as well. I was told to wait for this issue to be rectified every time. However after some time; they kept referring me to different people. Today I was asked to contact Mr. Malviya from chargeback team and I was informed that he works from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM. I confirmed the same as it was a Saturday and the person from customer care on the phone said Yes, he would be available. After visiting his office in Andheri at 04:00 PM; I was informed that he is not availabale as the office hours are till 02:00 PM. As there was no response from the bank; I decided to lodge a complaint against the same in Goregaon (W) police station on 21st Feb 2009 because all these transactions were in June 2008 and it is 8 months now that there is no action taken on this. Only action taken by the bank is to send recovery agents to collect this money.
The reason I am writing this mail is because after sending so many Email’s; Faxes and couriers to different people from the same Bank; my issue was never fixed and today you debited my salary Account. This is more than just Mental torture to any individual. As I understand the bank should not charge the customer for any disputed amount until and unless that case is closed. I have all the documents with me and proof of all the documents that I sent to the bank. I request the RBI ombudsman team to look at this seriously as early as possible. Please revert for any documents that might be required.
For all the people listed above; please co-operate with me and help me to fix this at the earliest.

ICICI banks complaint number [protected] really stinks. I too dialled this number of ICICIBank in connection with my debit card related query on 4 4 2009 and ran up a whopping 177 call equivalent of waiting period through my BSNL Land line which got revealed on analysing the High BSNL bill with a friendly BSNL accounts DGM who pointed out this particular call to the ICICIBank Help line was the culprit. ICICI Banks help line really stinks. Since their avg waiting time itself is very high and the efficiency of the services are not good the lessons are ...1. do not call this number from your bsnl land line or esle you land up a fat bill 2. disconnect the number if it is taking a long time. and we have to have ICICIBank to open help numbers with the name of the operator given and help line nos of a no of operators so that the charges dont go very high. TRAI or whoever are taking care of these issues also to ensure that the call between operators are seamless and not made in a manner that you only are encouraged to speak to the users of the same operator, which is ridiculous!!!

Hi all,

My self Akshay, ICICI bank issued some credit card in my name without my consent and along with it they issued some lombard which i never applied for. I never received the card which i do not want anyway but they send me a credit card satement demanding the money for the Lombard policy premium of worth rupees 29000. I was shocked to see such a credit card without my notice and on calling up the helpline people the so called customer care executives they behaved in a very rude manner with me.

Then I went to their branch at RAPG towers in Andheri and gave a written complaint to their executive Mr. Rajdatta he told me that he will get back to me after 15 days he never did. So i wrote an email to ICICI in hyderabad they told me that they have deactivated my credit card and advised me to ask an refund for the premium of the policy. Here I amde him clear that i do not have any policy papers what so ever with which i never asked for then i why should i ask for the refund in any way.

By the way these banks should follow some professional ethics while dealing with the customer I have decided to take the matter up to the Banking Ombudsmen department of RBI.

    I am Holding ICICI credit card : Card number :"[protected]"
    On 8th of Jan I puchased Electronic Appliances (Washing machine & Fridge) worth 32902.00/- From Jainson Corporation. The Shop keeper told me that as I am using ICICI card I can avail option of EMI. 6 month/ 9month.
    I told him "if any extra chargers are there on this Transaction I am not interested" But he told there will not be any extra charge neither any interest rate on this. But I got a statement which is Reflecting very very high Processing Fee 2220.89+ service Tax 274.50 ( approx 7%). Hence I called shop keeper . He was unaware of these facts of processing Fee. Hence he called to relationship officer Mr. Vishwanathan : Mobile Number [protected].
    I had discussion with Mr. Vishwananthan about the same & as per discussion if I pay complete amount, EMI option will be cancelled . But it is not done
    if I call to call centre, representatives are telling I should pay Processing fee. I request you to look in to this matter & cancel this fee as I have paid complete amount in time.

    1>It is unfair from Banks that with out notice such high processing fee is charged. customer should know this before swiping card for EMI & acceptance of customer in writing should be taken.
    2>Banks should Give Training / Detail information to shop keepers about options
    3> If customer doesn't agree for Processing fee option of EMI cancellation & Processing fee cancellation should be there

    Credit Card — Extra Charges for EMI

    Hi,
    My Name is Suneel and i am using the Card : xxxx xxxx xxxx 3002. I have taken a health policy from ICICI Lombard which can pay in EMI's. Through phone they have told me that no processing fee and service tax will be done for you. But when i see the first statement, EMI amount is 278 Rs. and Interest for EMI is 45 Rs and service tax for the month is 4.8 rs. This is happening for every month. In another case, Bank called me and gave me an opportunity to convert the outstanding amount of 15,317 to 12 EMIs with 16% pa interest rate. But when i see the statement every month along with EMI, i have been charged 305 Rs Interest on EMI and service tax for that. I dont understand on which rate they are imposing the interest on me. Bank people will call me and ask me to pay that which i dont want to pay. But they threatening me that you wont get any other bank loan, visa to any country once we update in SIBIL. I have paid the outstanding amount for the month. But i need a concrete solution for this bankruptsy and let me know how can i get out of this EMI unbearable charges. Usually for outstanding amount of 33000, i am getting 950 Rs interest rate. but for EMI premium 1278, am getting 305 rs interest rate which is unbearable. Some one pls make the bank responsible.

      My mother opened a SB account without reading the details in ICICI bank in 2003.When she wanted close the account in 2006,she found,in two years of not using the account,she had been fined 5000 rs for inoperative account and was asked to pay 2000 rs as charges due.When we refused to pay they didnt accept the request to close the account and did not take the card or passbook back at the bank branch when we went in person.As of today they have regularly sent remainders to pay dues and it has climbed to 10000rs.I dont know how to close this account without paying this unlawful fine.Can anybody help?Will consumer court help?They should not send goons to my house in due course.

      Hello,

      Well ICICI BANK is the financial criminals in India. Even other banks are doing in same. There should be no charged for account maintainences as per RBI rules and regulations. But if RBI will be governed by a group of stupid ministers, these banks will continue to suck blood of innocent account holders.

        Hi

        This is to inform you that I had taken a loan from ICICI Bank in the year 2001. The loan amount was Rs. 7, 00,000 & was for 5 year duration. It was going all well since the beginning. I had been paying up based on the transaction dates.



        One of the times while the loan was still going on I took a top-up loan of Rs. 4,40,000 which was also added to the loan amount that I had been already paying. I continued to pay both these loans & finally the day arrived, Feb 2006, when all the amount that was due to be paid up was over & I had got rid of all the payment.



        Next I visited the J.B Nagar branch of ICICI Bank Home Loans, last year to get my house papers back. When I met the staff they told me that there is an EMI not paid up. I was surprised. I called for all the papers & they took time to reconcile the accounts & they somehow showed me an amount for some month, after great jugglery & discussions internally, that was due to be paid. They also asked me bring the supporting of the payment made for that month. I showed them the details in the papers that I was carrying. They said that they will look into the matter & get back to us.



        Calls for non-payment began to land on my house no & my mobile. One day a recovery agent also landed up at my residence. My wife had to tell him that I am in office & that they call me up before coming. To this the person said that they are from a recovery agency & they have all the rights to come to us without any prior information. These agents went back but the calls did not stop. Every 5-6 days I get a call for non-payment & I kept telling them that it is due to a fault of the bank & there is nothing outstanding.



        I went back to the JB Nagar Branch of ICICI Bank Home Loans after 3-4 months or so I again visited the branch & asked for the papers. They again said that an amount is due for payment. This time they again came up with sheets of paper & again brought up some month-some year for which the amount is not paid. I told them that last time it was a different month for which they had showed an outstanding. They said that this is the final list for which there is an outstanding. I again showed them my papers & showed them clearly the bank statement for that month where it was shown as a debit for the month in the question.



        They took a Xerox of my statements & said that they will come back to me in 2 working days.



        Time passed by & nothing happened. Calls kept coming & I began to tell them that if they don't stop bullying me I am going to lodge a complaint with Consumer Forum. The frequency of calls reduced & then the calls began to come at say 10 day interval.





        After a lot of bouncing here & there I called up their call center on 24th December 2007.



        SR 49326466 was raised by them on 24Dec for Non-Receipt of Housing Loan Docs for LHMUM[protected]. There was some lady called Smita/Smirit or someone similar sounding, who claimed to be the floor in charge. She told me that the documents will be couriered to me in 8 working days.



        The calls did not stop & the bank has continued to trouble me for payment. The frequency has increased since last one month to around a call every day or every 2 days. Last week in a call when someone called me for the payment, I told that I had raised a Service Request on 24 th Dec & they had told me that I will get the docs in 8 days; she told me the following



        THE SR HAS BEEN RAISED THAT I HAVE TO VISIT THE BRANCH FOR MAKING A PAYMENT & NOT FOR RECEIVING THE DOCUMENTS BY COURIER IN 8 DAYS



        This is height of every thing. I don't know what to do? Please help me get my house papers back. I ma mentally getting disturbed by the calls being made by the bank every day. I wish they don't land up again to throw my family out to recover something which was NEVER DUE….



        PLEASE HELP ME or tell me whom should I approach to get a helping hand & get saved by these troubles.

          Dear Sir/Madam,
          I had taken a credit card from ICICI bank in Aug-2003. At that time the executive of ICICI bank told me that it was life-time free card. But after one year (in Jul-2004), they sent me bill with Rs.750+taxes as card annual fee. I called customer care and they said it would be reverted. So you don't have to pay. I cancelled that card in around Dec-2005. I had taken this card in Hyderabad and got it cancelled in Noida. Now after 2.5 years, they are saying that the total outstanding of my card is Rs.37000. I am a bit tensed about it...Please help me in this regard...What should I do?

            Subject: Loss of Credit Card Number: 4477 *********
            Dear Sir

            With reference to above card it is intimated that card was lost on 3rd November at Big Bazaar Pitam Pura, New Delhi. It was duly blocked on 11 November in night around 9 P.M

            Last Purchase made by me was amounting to Rs 2500/- in Big Bazaar Pitam Pura, on dated 3rd Nov 2007 and thereafter card was lost. However later on number of transactions were made on this account by some unauthorized person by fraudlently some some signature person at same store only,nothing elsewhere,for which I want to bring in your kind attention about misuse of my card. There seems no mechanism where vendor or bank can detect the signature

So now for the last time i request you to plz look in to the matter and regenerate my statement and i assure you that very next day i will make the payment of the outstanding amount.             I have visited bangalore on[protected]. i had tried for purchase of 600/- at a shop. The merchant tried the card for three times and siad that there is problem with the machine, was unable to get the transaction complete. So i have paid the require CASH for him , purchased the metrial. However it seems Rs 1650 has been deducted from my credit card account by the merchant on the same day.

However NO RESPONSE FROM THEM till i reminded them 15 March 11, Now agian he customer care sending mails asking for unnecessary mails and harrassing me like anything, since the fraud happened on 10-oct-2011, almost 6 months passed, they are relaxed and not able to solve my GENUINE PROBLEM and supporting the merchant (may be some commission worked our between them). This is very SAD from bank like ICICI.

              sir,i jagdish narain chaturvedi is holder of credit card no.[protected] of icici bank which is blocked at present.on complaint to banking ombudsman regarding icici lombard policy.i received a letter from your office on october24,2007 stating that money will be credited to my credit card account and is cradited also but i am not able draw the amount as card blocked.so many time i approched mr pankaj arora service manager creditcard at Kanpur but he could not help me.now full refund should be made along with the late payment and interest @ which icicibank takes from costomers.               I have been cheated by ICICI Bank representative Mr. Jaspal Singh, (Mobile No.[protected]). He collected Rs.2, 500/- with me and not issued Receipt aainst to me far. He has also not deposited the money in bank. This complaint has been told to ICICI bank so many time but no help has been given by the bank.

                On 10th Jan 2008 I got SMS alert telling me that there was a credit card transaction on my card worth Rs. 2198/-. Since I did not do the transaction, I immediately called the customer care and blocked my card. There I got to know that the actual transaction was worth Rs. 5393/-. I immediately went to the credit card department located in Pune in the Bhandarkar Road branch and asked for an account statement. There I was told that there is no transaction on my card and was given a blank statement. When asked for a stamp of the bank, I was denied of the same and was given a printed statement. Nothing happened after that and suddenly 2 days back i.e. on 8th Feb 2008 I got an sms alert to pay my bill worth Rs. 5393/-. What does all this mean? Is this a way the bank harasses its customers? First I am told there are transactions on my card, then I am told there are no transactions and now I get an sms telling me to pay the bill. What does this all mean? Also when asked for an immediate statement for lodging an FIR I am denied of the same from the bank. Now there was an auto debit of the minimum amount due from my savings account. The bank customer care number is never reachable for at least half an hour which also means wasting your time and money on the phone call. I have all the SMS alerts sent by the bank. So to summarize the complaint is as follows:
                1. ICICI bank credit card SMS alerts are faulty and misleading.
                2. The information available at the credit card office and the customer care does not match.
                3. Bank is not helpful when it comes to lodging complaints for misuse of the card.
                4. It is a mental harassment to know such kind of misuse has happened and then to know nothing happened and then to receive a bill for a transaction you never did.

                I Anand G Shinde having salary A/C No[protected] with your bank in which today morning (13th May 2008) a amount of Rs 5797.90 has been credited and which has been auto debited by your Credit Card Department against my Credit Card No [protected] which was not laible to be done. Whatever outstanding was there against my credit card i had already converted it into EMI and had always paid on time, earlier also there was no outstanding on my Credit Card, and I assure you'll that even in future all my payments will be paid on time. I even spoke to your customer care executive who told me that the amount will be credited in my credit card in 24 hours but i want that amount in my salary A/C as by tommorrow my other banks EMI will be hitting in my salary A/C. If the same is not happening before 24 hours than I have to take a legal action against your bank.
                Please do it as earlier as possible.

                I am frustrated with the kind of services provided by BARCLAYS BANK (so called MNC) for the reason given below:

                It started with the bad services in the beginning of the LOAN, which I applied a year back. They had issued a DD to some other person named YOGESH Sharma with no clarity at their office.

                When contacted they only said that the DD has been dispatched and your ECS will be activated and your EMI is X amount will be deducted without even dare to attend whether the DD has reached the right person or not. Somehow after regular follow-ups and continuously explaining every time with new executive and with great exercise I got my DD.

                Now that I wanted to close the account in BARCLAYS, as I had applied for Home loan in other bank for which the Bank asked for the clearance of the amount and get the NOC from the Barclays bank for which I applied 2 months (SEPT 2008) back itself for the preclosure of the amount and cleared all my dues with issuing the DD to the bank.

                Also I had asked to deactivation ECS facility as I had cleared the amount. But Unfortunately after clearing the amount and getting a acknowledge from the bank with the seal the Customer care have no idea or any updation in the system .I have called up more than 100 times to the Customer care and sent few mails to there official Cstomercare Email id and the response is plain and standard "we will get back to you within 7 working days" by customer care and by MAIL they respond "We refer to your email dated, regarding delay in loan cancellation and EMI (Equated monthly installment) debited.
                At the outset we apologies for the inconvenience caused.
                We would like to inform you that your concerns are still under process and would require some more time to respond. We will revert to you shortly and request you to kindly bear with us until then.
                In case you need further clarification or assistance, please contact us as per details given below.

                After great difficulty and again vigorous follow-ups they confirmed that they had received the DD and the process will take about 7 days of time and the excess amount which was deducted from my account will be refunded and the NOC for the same will be sent to my mailing address. But I don’t know whether its my bad luck or I did a blunder by getting associated with these kind of BANK as I am still waiting for my NOC and ECS is getting deducted from by account ever month though I have cleared the amount. Untill now I still don’t know whether I would get any solution from these BARCLAYS bank so called MNC.

                I request rather I beg that somebody would look into issue as I don’t have any other source to fight with these worst, unskilled manpower, not customer oriented and false commitment bank.

                Leaving all my other routine jobs I cannot waste my time or I cannot do their jobs, which is really astonished to see that this bank is such a careless, and there is no seriousness towards the customer.

                I am just going through mental pressure because of BARCLAYS bank .I request again to take these very seriously or reply or call and help me out in solving the case.

                  I made a outward remittance to Barclays Bank account in UK of amount of Rs. 1,50,000 on last monday (Feb 04). They said amount will reach the beneficiary within 3 working days. But it has not reached yet. Today is the 6th working day. They even cant track the status of the transaction. I have registered the complaint both through website and branch, but none of them contacting me and giving a status. It is something very urgent , my life matter.

                      I had made cheque payment of Rs60000/- against my car OD with ICICI bank. The cheque was not cleared by the bank. But I received frequent calls from the bank saying that I have not made the payment. I wrote several written complaints to the bank which were never answered. After six months of the deposit of the cheque the bank finally cleared the cheque. Now they have started demanding interest and late payment charges for this period of six months. I have written several complaint letters as well asemail which were also never answered.
                      Now the bank has started sending people to my house where my elderly parents stay alone during the day and have started harassing them.
                      Please clear the following matters.
                      1. I am willing to pay the prinicipal amount due to my account,but not the interest or late payment charges levied on me unnecessarily. Please send a statement and clear the problem.
                      2. I had requested for the closure of the account which had not been done,and I had been charged of renewal charges and so on.

                      ICICI Bank — Wrong Late payment charged in OD Account

                      I had been charged two times Late payment penalty without receiving any statement.
                      This is ridicolous.
                      In the last month the penalty was charged even after paying the minimum due amount.

I got statement on 12th jan 09 amount Rs 1633.34 that is double that i have purchased on 870/- Rs only . There is includes lots of amount like auto debit fee & late payment. I already sent you dated 11th jan 2009 cheque Rs 500/- and letter amout i have not received your statement. I am confuse which card I swipe because i received HDFC bank receipt.

                      Regarding my saving a/c you sent me letter about my saving account closed. So here no matter to charge me any account frozen charges or auto debit return charges because a/c was already closed.

                      Regarding late payment fee I already told I have not received any statement, so how can you charge me late payment fee. When I was dought I sent you cheque Rs 500/-. before your statement received then also you charge me a lot of charges that is not good.

                      So look in this matter and issue me a new and correct statement as soon as possible. I already deposted cheque Rs 500/- in 11th Jan, 2009.

                      Hi I am Mohali I want to know about my OD limit with ICICI Bank. An executive of ICICI Bank come to my home and ask me to convert my Card Loan to over draft and tell me to pay only interest and when you have sufficient amount the deposit in your account and it deduct from your loan amount. I am very happy to hear that but when ICICI bank start my OD limit after a month in the statement of OD I saw a charge of Rs. 500 I ask to that executive about this then he say ok I ask about. Next month same thing happen. After a year I stop ICICI OD payment and ask bank to tell me about that or clear that amount or you take your car, after 6 month a new executive of ICICI bank come to settle the problem but not yet solve my problem . Now its 2 to 3 years what can I do.

                        I have taken a ICICI Credit card in 2005, they have given ICICI Lombard insurance with card withoout my confirmation.I didn't ask anyone to give Lombard Insurance, and then I cancelled Lombard Insurance . Customer center guys told me to revert the all paid EMIs, but they charged with 50% of cancellation fees .
                        Now they have given me a mail that,they have authorization of duducting the charges from my Savings Account.
                        please help me!!!

                            I initiated a funds transfer from my savings a/c (branch: Nungambakkam/Chennai) to some account no in SBI through internet banking and very quickly we realized that there is no such account number existing in SBI and so an invalid account number.
                            But the amount has been immediately debited from my account and I lodged a complaint against this with ICICI bank/Chennai. Given an invalid/non-existing recipient account number, it is much ethical that sender bank is supposed to credit the amount back to the customer at the earliest since the amount cannot hang in the air. I am at the moment away from India and I have been spending a lot of ISD calls speaking to ICICI to sort the issue out but unfortunately none of them is giving a positive response on this. I have been a loyal/prospective customer with them since 8 years and this is the return i am getting back from them, just playing with customer's hard earned money. Also one of the customer service persons has called up my father (who is a busy advocate in chennai high court) and asked him to speak to SBI branches. How can they do this? How come they can expect the customers to do the investigation when they are supposed to investigate and answer us? Now, i really regret to say that I am a customer of ICICI. Last week, I managed to get one Mr.Venkatesh (floor manager) on phone and he promised me that they will do all the investigations soon and get back to us crediting the money back. But unfortunately, it hasn't happened yet and today morning, I again spoke to one Mr.Srikanth (floor manager) and he has promised me to revert back to us soon. So, keeping my fingers crossed, i have been waiting to get back my money soon. If the service continues to be bad & bad, what is the answer to all the prospective ICICI customers who have been trusting the bank.
                            I want my money back at the earliest finally.

                              “Dear Sir ..I’m abhishek duggal writing this mail to you to bring into your notice something very unprofessional and highly careless attitude of your employees at the ICICI home loan branch Bathinda(Punjab). I and my wife had jointly taken up a housing loan of Rs. 18,00,000/- approximately in April 2006 from your branch at Bathinda to buy an un-built flat at Shivalik Enclave, kharar landran road, mohali(Punjab).My loan account file number is LBBTN[protected].. My bank saving account in ICICI through which I’m auto debiting my monthly installments is[protected] with ICICI Bathinda. I paid the rest of the desired amount I had to contribute from my side to complete the terms and conditions of your bank of total amount of Rs23, 50,000/-. Since then I’ve been paying the installments regularly without any delays or problems. Now the biggest problem is that the possession of the fully finished flat for which I had taken the loan was suppose to b given to me by shivalik infrastructures and developers in May’07. But 2 my utter disappointment the property is hardly 50% complete till date. I’m in process in legally suing them. On top of it, your Bathinda branch didn’t even bother 2 take a survey as to how much construction is complete and accordingly the loan amount should b disbursed proportionately. But you’ll be amazed to know that at that time when the last installment of the loan was disbursed to the builder by your bank in march 07, the construction was hardly 15% complete. i’m attaching the copies of photographs clicked at that time in march 2007 which clearly show the stage of the construction and the record of disbursement of is best available to you at your own hands. Full amount of the loan has been disbursed by your bathinda branch for a property that has hardly started its construction by march 2007. More so the irony is that your chandigarh ICICI housing loan who was incidentally funding the same project DID actually stop disbursing the payment way back seeing the construction rate accordingly. This is gross. It shows the absolute careless and totally unprofessional attitude of the people employed there. I did talk 2 the manager Mr Jaspreet Mann immediately to bring it into his notice as soon as I realized that no construction was going on in Shivalik due some internal dispute. It was me who informed him that the project is as good as dead and that chandigarh icici home loan branch has already stopped makin any disbursements to the builder instead of him following it up and then disbursing the installments. And he promised 2 revert back 2 me on this. But I’m sorry n disgusted 2 say no one has not even bothered 2 call me even forget taking any corrective measures about the grave situation. I’m bringing it into your notice now that this has really affected me lots now. I’m paying interest on full 18,00,000/- to the bank n I don’t even have the property in my possession as in today. This is a sheer example of non caring attitude, careless, unprofessional behavior at your end as to how could bank pay the full amount without even reviewing the construction stage of the said property and then even after telling them no one cared 2 get in touch with me forget taking corrective action. I’d like 2 bring in you notice that the receipt forms were got signed from me together in one go so as 2 facilitate the internal process of disbursing the loan amount since I was getting transferred 2 ludhiana in the initial stages when the loan was issued. This for your information now that even after this forwarding, if no action is taken by the bank, I’d b forced 2 stop paying any payments 2 the bank and take up the case legally in the consumer forum. I’m shortly sending legal notice through my lawyer to your bathinda branch. I’m sending this email to you because now I have lost all the faith in your banking institution and feel this is the least thing I could expect from ICICI and that no other person has to go through so much at the hands of some stupid people who hardly know how to handle things and are totally un-professional. I’m absolutely disappointed as I have to suffer mentally and financially from my hard earned money at the carelessness of your people. Please make sure you take necessary action against the employees who are at fault. I’ve been forced to withdraw balance from my savings account now as I can’t pay any installments till the things are sorted out between me and you and the defaulting people are taken to task. I’ll not be at fault now for the outcome of this bizarre and unfortunate situation created by your branch.

                              I have logged a compliant for delaying in receiving my Orginal mortage paper for more than 2.6 years I have made full payment of my housing loan in 2004 and received the orginal document in Jul-2007.

                              Greetings

                              Please allow me to introduce myself as Gaurav Rege, a customer with ICICI Bank.

                              I write to you hoping that customer service and trust that ICICI bank so proudly talks about is indeed what the bank practices as well.

                              I had signed up for a home loan from ICICI bank on 10th Aug 2007 and had opted for a floating rate of interest. (LBBGM[protected]).

                              The market rate then was 11.5% floating which I had agreed to and was given to understand that as and when the market rate of interest goes up or comes down my interest would similarly be adjusted.

                              However, today I am shocked and feel cheated by the way that ICICI bank has treated me. I am being charged an astonishing 12% rate of interest when the actual floating rate of interest as per ICICI bank itself is 9.75%.

                              The bank offers this lower rate of interest only to new customers. For existing customers, the bank is not applying the low rate. When asked why, the bank (ICICI) informed me that my PLR variance was only kept at (1.25) and thus I was being charged this very high rate of interest.

                              I am not a banker and do not understand banking terms. What I do understand is that ICICI bank attracts new unsuspecting customers but once they are onboard it hides behind so called bank policies and outright cheats customers of their money. What more can I say, when the Branch Manager (at ICICI bank) herself has a home loan with another bank and not with ICICI.

                              To top it all, when I made a request to the bank that please charge me the lower rate of interest, the bank asked me to pay a further 15995/ (fifteen thousand nine hundred and ninety five rupees) as change over fees.

                              My grievances with ICICI bank are as follows.
                              1. If the bank gets promotional calls made for attracting new customers, sends out emails by the dozens, telling customers of the various schemes that the bank offers and the new products that they have, then similarly why was I as a customer not told that I could avail of a lower rate of interest. I am currently paying interest at 12%, when banks like SBI, LIC housing etc are charging only 8%. Even new customers are being charged by the bank at 9.75%. Why did the bank not come to me and tell me that by paying a changeover fee, I could save on this high rate of interest. Why was it left to me to “accidently discover” that I was being grossly overcharged.
                              2. If for the last so many months the bank because of its malpractices has been overcharging me, then why should the bank itself not absorb this changeover cost and still charge me when I have found out their dubious ways of doing business.
                              3. I may have signed a loan paper with the bank, what I did not sign was an agreement to get cheated out of my own money. Where is the trust factor that ICICI banks talks about and advertises?
                              Everyone understands that banking is a business. However what is happening here reminds one of the bygone era of crooked moneylenders. All policies and all systems are only in the bank’s interest. Absolutely no transparency and absolutely no ethics. You do something, but you do not inform, and expect the other party concerned to sit quietly because you are a big bank and the people you are dealing with are individuals.
                              Would you not call this bullying the ordinary public into doing what your eventually want?

                              I would really appreciate a revert from ICICI bank stating what course of action they would take hereon.

                                A month & half back i got call through Espertease india pvt ltd-a DSA of ICICI credit card and lot other credit cards, asking whether i want to apply for ICICI Emi Card,well i said i would be interested, Customer executive from Espertease india pvt ltd came and he took Application form Fee which nobody takes ,well after that after complaining they took no action against executive,i have asked them to process my application it took 1 and 1/2 month.............the thing is that i have applied for ICICI EMI card and i am getting verification call from HSBC........I dont know how ICICI Credit card division appoints these DSA without knowing the background of the company................we customers have been cheated and these DSA sell our identity and Mobile nos to others and we get unwanted calls
                                I think something should be done against this

                                  - I am an Army Officer and am presently posted in J & Kand had applied for 12 shares of ICICI Bank during their last IPO vide my appli No 93511974 and accordingly paid Rs 10,800/- for the same. 12 Shares were alloted to me and I was even refunded Rs 120/-. However till date the same shares have not appeared in my wife's demat acct through which the payment was made.

                                  - I being in the army and posted in a remote area am unable to follow up the issue. my wife has contacted one Mr Dheeraj and Mr satender at the ICICI Bank Branch at Barakhamba Road New Delhi who have been utterly unhelpful. mr satender infact has been lying to say that he has quit ICICI bank!

                                  - I will be grateful if this complaint can be taken up at an appropriate level to obviate unneccessary harrasment of a serving officer of the Indain army

                                  I have a SB A/c 405 with Mercantile Urban Co-Op. Bank Ltd., Branch-Rohta Road, Meerut. In the above reference I says:-
                                  (i) The Bank has not paid/credit Interest for the period[protected] to[protected] and[protected] to[protected] in my SB A/c 405.

                                  (ii) The Bank has been wrongly deducts an amount of Rs.370/- dt. 30.03.2007 & Rs.50/- on[protected] as bank charges from my s/b a/c 405.

                                  I request to the Bank, that they are paid to me the interest above period in my SB A/c & credit the amount of Rs. 370/- & Rs. 50/- you have charge wrongly as bank charges in my S/B A/c.

                                  Mr. Tanveer (Branch Manager) read the application & return to me very unprofessional behavior and denied the receiving of this application and told to me for

                                  Point No. 1 :- The Bank have a written approval from RBI for Non-Payment of Interest.

                                  Point No. 2 :- The amount charges deduct as bank charges in your a/c by software for Non-Running A/c and i can’t help you.


                                  I says for Point No. 1 - when I asking the written approval of RBI in the regard of Non-Payment of Interest, Mr. Tanveer fail the saw of RBI approval to me.

                                  2- RBI has stopped the Bank Operation for fresh deposit, that bank not able to receive the any deposit before the RBI new order. That in this regard where is my fault, so credit the Bank charges which is wrongly deducts by you.

                                    I spent 34091-on ECFMG Fees on 24.09.07 and paid 33000- on 4.10.07.I was given a free CR Use of 100-These details are shown in credit card statement for July13-oct.18,2007.Thus I was supposed to pay 990.12 more by Nov.9,2007. I forgot to pay this amount when on 28th Nov. I got a call from the bank asking to make an immediate payment of Rs.1834 which I did the same day by cheque no.196616 PNB.I also wrote an e-mail to your complaint section saying that for a period of 18 days between Nov.9 and 28 this doubling of the amount was absolutely unjustified and unacceptable and also that it was illogical and illegal to charge interest as well as late fees on late payments.In response to this Rs 843 were reversed in card statement of Nov.18-Dec.18.Since I had paid 1834,this reversal would mean that I would have a positive balance of 843.I was surprised to see that in statement from Dec.18-Jan.18 2008 I am again supposed to pay 1834 whereas actually I should have an excess of 843 on the positive side.If this is inadvertent,it may please be rectified and if done knowingly,it is highly deplorable and unacceptable.Thanks.Harsh Sharma

                                    With reference to your statement date 9th may'08 of amount
                                    Rs 33072.16, the ICVBP has made the payement of Rs 8673 to Tatatele limited, Delhi-Mumbai against invoice no-[protected] but the actual amount to be paid is Rs 444 which is again shown in statement date issued 0n 29th april'08, this is the real amount (i.e.Rs 444) i have to make to TTSL.The invoice numbers in both the statements are same. Because of this misunderstanding the statement of 9th may shows many other charges like overlimit charges, service tax, interest charges etc.I confirm about this bill of Rs 8673 to TTSL but they told me that we have not raised any bill of such amount against your mobile. So you are requested to go through the matter and inform me earliest so that i could make the correct payment with in the due date of 30th may.I was not proprerly entertained by the customer care.I hope for the best services here.

                                      On 25th August 2006 I booked an E-Ticket on Air sahara as per details given below.

                                      This ticket was cancelled on the same Same Day as per details given below. Ref No ASK149175.
                                      Till date even after 17 Months my a/c is not yet credited with the cancelled amount. ICICI customer services has nothing to say on this. I have written reminder letters to ICICI Charge back dept, II Floor, Empire Complex, 414, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel - Mumbai 13. Very much disappointed with ICICI Bank's response in this matter.

                                      ICICI Bank Credit Card — Receipt of Bill after cancellation of Card

                                      ICICI Bank is sending me every month bill even though the credit card has been cancelled. I have wrritten back the credit card and also has the acknowledge copy of cancellation of credit card letter dated 05/11/2007. Even now the Bank is calling and asking for the payment. I have cleared all dues with ICICI Bank for credit card. They have imposed late payment charges which i refused to pay as the cheque given to the bank was not presented by them on due date. later i called and paid through auto debit to ICICI Bank. but they refused to reverse the charges in this event i wrote a letter and asked them not to call me for any product hence forth. Now also i am being harrassed for payment of the charges.

                                      ICICI Credit Card — Non-receipt of credit card

                                      I hv never come across such a lousy customer care section of any company as that of ICICI Bank. I was informed that a Credit card has been issued to me on 12.08.08 and that it would reach me within 3 days. Thereafter it was sent by courier on a working day at 15:45 hrs to my residence. Of course it amazes me as to how ICICI could imagine that an employed person would be available at home in the afternoon of a working day. After a series of phone calls etc. to their non-existing customer care manned by dumb witted nincompoops they re-sent it (yes, ahem!!) to my residential address on a working day in the afternoon. I tried to explain to their customer care 3 times and was either disconnected, the phone transferred from table to table and finally disconnected. Is their a solution to this inane non-sense and dim wittedness.
