Hi Sir,
My name is Gurpreet, and I am holding an ICICI BANK Credit Card. I wanted to report one of a highly disappointing and frustrating experience I had with the credit cards divisions and I would need your help in getting this resolved.
Recently I got my Credit Card Bill for the Credit card number [protected]. The details are as below
Previous Charges : 24, 876.35
Purchases/Charges : 14, 433.42
Payment : 29, 625.53
Total Amount due : 9, 684.24
Due date : 03/10/2014
A few notable things were that the purchase/charges of 14, 433.42 included an interest amount of 1, 439.78 and service tax of 177.96. I made a payment of 23600 out of the total outstanding amount 24, 876.35 before due date. On the remaining 1276.35 I have been charged an interest of 1439.78 + Service Tax which makes it to around 1600+. I mean interest on balance 1200 Rs is 1600 +. This is really unacceptable. and also in a span of 4 more days I made the complete payment.
I spoke with the customer care official also. His name was Shiv Kumar, the reference ID for this communication is SR[protected]. I spoke with him and tried to explain him the same but instead of reversing the wrong charges he asked me rudely that this is the process that I need to follow. He can't do anything on this, and its my wish to continue with ICICI bank.
I followed up with more customer care executives but no one is at all ready to reverse these fraudlent intereset charges
I need your help in getting this resolved as ICICI bank is not even ready to listen to me
