Dear Sir, My Name Is Dharam Singh, I Have A Non Resident Account At IDBI Jodhpur Branch, , Customer Id 75738576 On[protected] I Opened An NRE Fixed Deposit Through My NRE Account Of 5 Lac Rupees For A Period Of 5 Years. Mr. Deepchand (Asst. Manager IDBI Jodhpur Branch) Assisted Me For NRE Account Opening As Well As For Opening Of NRE FD. While Opening NRE FD (I Was Opening Only NRE FD At That Time) I Asked Mr. Deepchand That What Is The Penalty Or Charges For Premature Withdrawal For NRE FD And Is There Any Lock In Period, He Told Me That "There Is No Lock In Period And There Are No Premature Withdrawal Charges, And If I Withdrew Prematurely I Will Get The Interest For The Period For Which The FD Was In Force". At That Time He Did Not Tell Me Any Thing About The RBI Guideline For NRE FD About Lock In Period Of 1 Year. Hence Based On The Information Given To Me By Mr. Deepchand I Was Completely Assured That There Would Not Be Any Problem If I Withdrew The FD Prematurely. On[protected] I Needed Some Money And I Decided To Break The Above Mentioned FD ( I Was Sure That There Is No Lock In Period And There Are No Premature Withdrawal Charges And I Will Get The Interest On That FD For Period Of 11 Months And 21 Days Based On The Information Given To Me By Mr. Deepchand). Hence I Prematurely Withdrew The FD And I Got The Interest (Total Approx. 44500) And There Was No Problem. In August I Went On My Job (I Am A Marine Engineer On Merchant Vessels). But After About 3 Months Of Breaking Of FD On [protected] Mr. Deepchand Mailed Me That There Was Some Communication Gap And I Have To Return About 46250 Rupees (Which Is Even More Than The Total Interest I Received On That FD) To The Bank As There Is A RBI Guideline That Interest Is Not Payable On NRE FD If FD Is Broken Before 1 Year. When I Replied To Him That He Only Told Me That There Is No Premature Withdrawal Charges And No Lock In Period, Then He Replied Back That "He Thought That During The Time Of Opening Of NRE FD I Was Asking About Rules Of Resident Normal FD". Which Is Completely Absurd And Reflects That At The Time Of Opening Of Above FD Mr. Deepchand Did Not Knew About The Relevant Rules And Provided Me With Wrong Information Based On Which I Withdrew The FD Prematurely Just 9 Days Before The Lock In Period. (Otherwise No One Is That Stupid To Do Such A Thing.) After this event i mailed to the customer care of idbi bank but dit not got a convincing reply, hence i told my father in india to go to the branch and resolve the issue, he met with the branch manager mr. dinesh sharma who assured him that he will look in to the matter and resolve the issue. after that there was no communication from the bank and no deduction was made from my account and i thought the issue must have been resolved, until today when i went to the bank for closure of another f.d then i came to know that instead of reverting the charges they have marked lien of some 43000 rs on my another f.d and i can not break the f.d without paying the amount. I Do Not See My Fault In This Situation And This Problem Arose Due To Incorrect Information Provided By A Banks Official To Me. Then Why Should I Suffer. Hence I Don’t Want That Any Deduction Should Me Made From My NRE Account Based On The Reversal Of Interest On FD.     I am a SB A/c Holder of IDBI Bank, Vivek Vihar Branch Delhi. My Customer ID is 603822. IDBI Bank had wrongly deducted TDS amounting to Rs 1912.00 on my FD in fin year 2012-13 while PAN No had already been given to Bank at the time of opening of Bank A/c in 2001 at Sirifort Branch New Delhi as well as in April, 2011 when the A/c was transferred to Vivek Vihar Branch. IDBI bank after long exchan ge of dialogues and writing letters have now revised the Return in August, 14 but still the TDS is not shown in Form 26AS nor Bank has given TDS Certificate. This is a negligence on the part of Bank and the Branch Mgr of Vivek Vihar Branch is helping anything on this account. The matter has been taken up several times with IDB I Bank Vihar Vihar Branch Delhi but of no use. It is requested that I am a Sr Citizen and this amount of Rs 1912.00 may be refunded to me by IDBI Bank and credited to my SB A/c as already a period of more than two years has passed.       This refers to illegitimate charges for the maintenance of a demat account levied on my account. I had opened an account with IDBI Bank in 2010. During that time I was told by an IDBI correspondent that there are no charges for a demat account and hence recommended opening the same for purposes of investing in infrastructure bonds. With that trust, I went ahead with opening the account. Three years later on 17th June 2014, I see a Demat Charge of Rs. 1158 automatically deducted from my bank account. Upon discussing this matter with a bank representative, I was told that Demat charges of Rs. 386 per year are fees for maintaining the demat account and hence those charges reflect on my account. I was assured by the Chembur branch executive that a charge of no more than Rs. 386 will be levied annually for maintenance of the account from then onwards. On 9th December of 2014, my account was debited with Rs. 2809 without any precedence. The bank stated that these are charges for the year 2015 levied in advance. Upon questioning the bank representative, they were unable to rationalize this advance charge. However, they were still adamant that these charges shall prevail. This clearly demonstrates a BREACH OF TRUST. I request the consumers to be extra cautious of IDBI bank and to not get lured by their representatives' marketing campaigns.

          I had filled an account opening application on 20 october 2014 with initial deposit of Rs. 1000 (Cheque no. 163781, dated 20 october 2014 of Axis Bank). It took so long for my account to be opened finally in november (IDBI bank account no. which I received is [protected] & customer ID is[protected] When i went to the ATM for checking my account balance, it showed me a balance of Rs. 0. I called customer care and lodged a complaint on 26 november 2014 (reference no. 272/6636266) with a promise to get a revert within 48 hours. I kept waiting, and finally today, the 8th december 2014, i called up the customer care in the afternoon just to hear the same reply that my account balance is 0 and that i can call up in the evening just to confirm whether the amount has been credited to my account or not. I called up at 17:45, again i got the same reply that there is no balance in the account and i got suggested that i should call up again in the morning because the concerned department was not available. This is a pathetic service by IDBI bank. Why has my cheque of rs.1000 not been credited to my account because the same amount has been debited from my axis bank account. How is it possible for IDBI bank to open an account without an initial deposit? It has been almost 2 months since i filled the account opening form, what is the use of opening an account when you can not deposit your own money in it? Its not about 1000 rupees, but its about what is right or wrong. This is so wrong on IDBI bank part. I myself am working in a bank and i know the procedures of the account opening. I will defame IDBI for this type of third class service. Also, looking for more alternatives to take this to higher level just to wake these guys up. Good Luck.

            Hello my name is Jyotirmayi bagarti.. my account number is [protected] and my card number is [protected]. I am account holder of IDBI bank (Sambalpur Branch). Sir let me get into the matter on 21st may 2014 I did a transaction of rs300 but my ac got debited with rs300, rs2000 and rs20 (two times) as transaction charge but the matter is I rs2000 (and rs20 transaction charge) deducted was wrong as I have not done that transaction. I Complained about this to bank but they told wait your money will automatically will be refunded they didn't gave me any complaint no. Or anything (they were taking it for granted and was not trying to do anything ) .. After a month or two and after running 15 to 18 times to bank they told me to lodge a complain name banking ombudsman and that too was not possible without their help but they didn't help me I spoke to branch manager also but he was also least concerned, than finally I myself tried to lodge banking ombudsman at that time they gave me a document (have attached in attachment). After Banking ombudsman (have attached banking ombudsman details) the bank called me up first time in 5 months that too they were not helping me they were trying to clear their image by taking signature on backdate on a document to show they have helped me in past about this matter as while lodging the complain I mentioned that they are not helping me I have been to bank around 15 times (as bank employee said for this the IDBI bank some head called him up from Bhubaneswar). I Didn't agree to sign the document they tried to fooled me also but I didn't so we came across with lot of debate and after that till now nothing has happened. The bank is agreeing also that the amount is wrongly debited but than why are u harassing me please refund me my money its around six months. But now i[censored] will see I should Claim for the 2020rs wrongly deducted and interest for that and compensation for may time and petrol wasted being to bank and you people should overpay as you were trying to eat my money but thanks from some were I heard about this website. Sir please help me to get back my money as soon as possible its already been six months and sir please take some action against the employee's and Branch manager also, I once again request you please take some action as I have been harassed mentally and physically very much. Sir help me please as you are the last option I have and Sir for me 2000 is good amount as I belong to a middle class family. Once I get back my money I will immediately close my A/c as I have understood IDBI before opening ac will treat you as you are RBI head and after opening ac they will treat you as a dog.

                Dear sir/mam, This is to inform you that I have saving a/c in IDBI Bank since 2009. The a/c was opened in korba(c.g.) & I had shifted to rewa (M.P). Its being more that three months I had given application to the IDBI rewa Bank branch, with all the relevant papers/ document as required by the Bank. After many reminders/visits/e-mails to the Bank they have not changed address.                       Dear Sir, Pl refer to my earlier application requesting the IDBI Bank to furnish/upload or provide form or data to DDA in respect of DDA housing scheme 2014, application form No 0393537 (alongwith IDBI DD No 010889 dated 11.10.14 of Rs 1, 00, 000). The application form submitted to Branch of Preet Vihar, IDBI bank, Delhi on 13.10.2014 and acknowledgement issued. (Account No [protected], customer id[protected] My father had visited on 3.11.2014 morning to IDBI Bank, Branch 11 New Rajdhani Enclave, Preet Vihar, Delhi and again physically handed over, the aforesaid application to concern Bank official. She telephonically enquired from IDBI Bank, KG Marg, N Delhi and informed that many application data are pending and shall be uploaded soon. However she refuse to give acknowledge receipt of our application. Hence, I once again request that data of my application Form number 0393537 may please be given or uploaded to the DDA.                         I have withdrawal Rs. 4, 000.00 on 19th–August-2014 from ICICI Bank ATM in Sector-4 Gurgaon, But we did not received any slip & any cash amount from ATM Machine so I again withdrawal Rs. 4, 000.00 form Same ATM but another machine 19th-Aug-2014 and this transaction was successful I received both slip & cash Amount Rs. 4, 000.00, But on behalf of first transaction Rs. 4, 000.00 has been credit form my account, but that transaction has been failed, So I lodged written complaint in IDBI Bank at three time Date 2nd-Sept-2014, date:20.09.2014 & 01.10.2014 for ATM Dispute but now Bank person is saying that we received cash amount Rs. 10, 000.00 in first transaction, while that transaction was failed and we did not received any cash amount even slip.                             Dear Sir/Madam I am a customer of IDBI Bank for more than 10 years. Me and my family members have many accounts with the Bank I have on few occasions availed of Pay Order Issuance from the bank from my various accounts. I was never charged any Commission towards issuance of these Pay Orders in last 3-5 years. On 28th of August 2014, I had submitted an application for issue of Pay Orders of value of Rs. 7, 03, 500/- and Rs. 51, 500/- respectively, from my Saving Bank Account, For this purpose, I had filled up pre-printed Request Slips (Application Forms) (one for each Pay Order) issued to me by the Bank at its Thakur Complex Kandivali East Mumbai Branch. In this form I had submitted all the information as necessary and as asked by the Bank. I had filled the amount of the Pay Orders in Numerical and in Word. In the column for Commission, I had put value of Zero (0). And in the Final Column of Total, I had filled the Exact Amount of Pay Orders (Rs. 7, 03, 500/- and Rs. 51, 500/- respectively in 2 different Pay Order Request Slips). No charges were agreed or consented to be paid towards payment of Commission for issue of Pay Order. I had authorized the Bank to debit my the said Savings Bank Account only for and up to the extent of the said respective amounts of Rs. 7, 03, 500/- and Rs. 51, 500/- towards Pay Order Charges in my Request Slip. I had neither neither agreed to, nor sanctioned nor authorized the Bank to charge any amount of Commission towards Pay Order Charges. At the time of submission of my request, I was neither informed about levying of the commission charges nor informed about the quantum (amount) of the charges. I had not given any blanket permission to the bank at the time of submission of the Request Slips, to deduct or levy any commission for issue of the Pay Order from my Account. In the past 2-3 years I had got few Pay Orders issued from my various Bank Accounts of IDBI Bank. I was never charged any commission for the same. The Pay Orders were issued to me on my specific requests, and on my specific authorization, on 28th of August 2014 by the Bank at its Thakur Complex (656) Kandivali East Branch, without any mention of Commission Charges or any other charges. My Savings Account was debited Rs. 7, 03, 500/- and Rs. 51, 500/- on 28th of August 2014 towards the Pay Order Charges. I was NOT DENIED issuance of Pay Orders, on the ground that I had not agreed to pay or authorize or sanction any commission towards issue of Pay Orders to the Bank in my Request Forms, or I had violated any restrictions of any nature with regards to my account. In Spite of Putting 0 (Zero) value in the Commission Column, (and putting only an amount equal to Pay Order Charges in TOTAL column of the request form) and authorizing the Bank to Deduct only Actual Amount of Pay Orders in the Total Column, the Bank had issued me the Pay Orders. The Bank, therefore was very well made aware that I did NOT intend to pay the commission charges. The Bank DID NOT seek my permission to deduct commission charges from my account at the time of accepting request and at the time of issue of the Pay Orders to me. It also did not inform me that a commission is payable. Nor was I informed the amount / quantum of the charges. The Bank also did not inform me that I am not complying with their norms of services associated with my account. On 29th August 2014, the Bank debited an amount of Rs. 2265/- towards Pay Order Charges. The amount was neither debited on the day of Accepting Request nor on the day of issuance of Pay Order. But a day later. This clearly indicates that the Bank kept these charges hidden from me and did not disclose it to me at the time of accepting the request or at the time of issuance of the Pay Orders. This is a Fraudulent and Malafide (in bad faith; with intent to deceive) practice adopted by the bank. This is a blatant Cheating by the Bank. This is against norms of Fair and Transparent Business of the Bank with its Customers. I am very much shocked, anguished and mentally traumatized by this act of the Bank. If I would have been informed about 1) Levying of Charges and 2) of Quantum of Charges, I would have opted for RTGS or would have got the Pay Orders issued from other Accounts. The bank has a duty and obligation towards its customers to inform at the time of Request or availing of services about the consequences (monetary or otherwise) or charges that the particular service / facility may entail. The bank can not and should not, unilaterally and without prior informed consent of its customer, levy charges as AFTER THOUGHT. This is like hitting a person from back, unawares (Back Stabbing). Please Note that : 1) I have not objected to right of the Bank to levy charges. 2) I have not objected to the Rate at which the charges are levied. My objection is as follow 1) I have objected to the WAY these charges have been or are being levied. Even if it is Bank’s policy, then this policy is wrong and fraudulent as it is not transparent and open. 2) A customer has a right to know and has a right to be informed of the charges AT THE TIME OF AVAILING A FACILITY. 3) It is Bank’s DUTY and a COMPULSORILY ONE to inform each and every customer the charges that will be levied for availing a particular facility. This has to be done Each and Every time, with each and every customer. 4) Merely sending an SMS or hosting the charges on the website DOES NOT absolve Bank its duties and obligations to inform its customer the charges at the time he/she avails a facility. 5) A customer is not expected to visit Bank’s website and look for various charges. 6) A customer fills up a form for availing a facility. At that time the customer has to be told of the charges. He/She should be given a liberty of Right to accept or deny the service. 7) In my case, I had not accepted to pay any commission to the bank to issue the Pay Orders. 8) If the Bank felt that the charges are to be compulsorily levied, then it should have denied to issue me Pay Orders, unless and untill I agree to pay the commission. 9) As the Pay Orders were issued even when I had declined to pay any commission, then the Bank can not and should not charge me the Commission Charges for issuing the Pay Orders. I was made to understand that the charges will not be levied, because the Pay Orders were issued to me even when I had declined to pay and charges/commission for their issuance. 10) Even if the Bank argues that these charges are made by "SYSTEM", then this "SYSTEM" of Bank has to be corrected. At its cost and expense. Not Mine. 11) I hereby again insist that the charges as levied by Bank should be immediately returned to me / credited back into my account.                                   My name is AMIT KUMAR ROY and my Account number is [protected] in IDBI BANK. I am a Company Secretary(CS) student and living in Delhi on rent, so I do not have any local address proof now. When I opened saving account in your bank I had voter id card of last resident address, but now I changed my address and I do not have any address proof of current address. When I went preet vihar branch, Delhi for Address updating the executive as well as the Branch manager refused to update my Address and respond me, we do not update your Address without any local Address proof.

                                  As per RBI new guideline RBI/2013-14/634. DBOD.AML.BC. No. 119/14.01.001/2013-14. June 9, 2014.Customer may submit only one documentary proof of address (either current or permanent) In case the proof of address furnished by the customer is not the local address or address where the customer is currently residing, the bank may take a declaration of the local address on which all correspondence will be made by the bank with the customer. No proof is required to be submitted for such address for correspondence/local address.

                                  Please resolve my problem because I am facing a lot of problem due to this situation.

                                    Net banking transaction failed amount deducted

                                    While I am doing net banking transaction due to some technical problem my transaction has been failed. But idbi bank has been deducted my amount. Online purchase is railway ticket from irctc website. I asked them also they said that amount has been not credited to merchant website. The amount should be with bank only. I too seen that in irctc website in failed transaction history menu. Plz solve my problem fast. Plz my customer Id is 80049942....

                                      I'm a IDBI bank home loan customer in Bangalore, I got my loan @10.25% of interest for 20L in 2011 December. It appears the EMI should be 19632.87 but IDBI has been deducting 19968/EMI. I have complained to them & the request has not been answered, so far I have paid close to 12, 000 extra. These is clear cheating to the customer, I request Govt bodies to take action and get me solution for my problem ASAP.
