Today 24/08/2015 My wife sent a request to idea from mobile no [protected] to activate rs 99/- pakage for 325 free calls by using the code *800*99# . But they activated 98 package for 2G network. This package caused to terminate 30 days 3G pakage which was activated on 23/08/15. Atonce she contacted idea customer care and withdraw the wrongly activated unnecessary package. The customer care officials heard the problem and assured to deactivate the wrong pakage with in an hour. But they failed to do his assurances. Hence we lost rs.98 plus rs 164 for 3g data and more than 3 hrs time and call charges for contacting customer care officials. Kindly arrange to activate rs.99 pakage instead of rs.98 please.

    Dear IDEA, I have applied for an Idea postpaid connection for the number [protected] on 18th of August. The activation was promised to happen in three days. It has been one week and still the sim is not activated. A representative (name not known, his mobile number [protected]) who has taken documents from me always comes up with lame excuses whenever i call him up for updates. I request you to kindly cancel the connection if in case the activation is not going to happen by tomorrow. I have already been getting sim offers from other network providers promising the activation in two days. I am an employee and i even submitted my I-card as proof. I still dont understand why the delay is. P.S : request you to kindly cancel the activation if it does not happen by[protected]. I have tried to mail my complaint to ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com and unfortunately the inbox at the receiver's end is full and hence my mail has bounced back.       Please explain why I am being charged pro ration charges of Rs 651. I had 405 MB before. Idea people called me to change my plan, which I did to get 1 GB 3G. Now i receive bill its 1273 Rs and My limit is 1200. I am worried that my number will be barred, I called customer care, store and they say they cannot increase my limit. What is the problem with you guys. Firstly you people beg to get postpaid. After we get postpaid, You put no meaning charges. Really what is pro ration charges. Does it have any sense? Why you people do not tell about this when we purchase the postpaid sim.. Its totally ridiculous. I need these charges to be removed now!!! or my limit increased. Its total mental harrasment. If i paid for every single MB that I used, what the hell are pro ration charges

      I am not satisfied with the response. Person admitted and felt sorry because it is the company fault that they called me to change my plan in middle of month and does not told me that when I change plan in middle of month, The net usage is converted to huge proration charges.

      Just tell me this... If you know that there are huge proration charges on data usage Why do you even call in middle of month to change plan??? Stop playing these tricks... Now i have to convert to prepaid, Neither you accept to revert the charges. Its fine... I am very very disappointed. You do not steal from riches because they will get you. You can only steal from us middle class people who spend all their day sweating working returning home at 9 PM. Its the ending of month and you dropped a big amount on my head.

        I missed to pay the bill on time and my outgoing was disconnected. No issues every company has their policies in getting money from the customers, I truly accept this. However a lady keeps on calling every day with an arrogant voice to pay the bill. I've told her multiple times that if I've enough time I will pay the bill. One day she called me and as I was busy in a meeting couldn't talk to her and disconnected the call. She called me at least 10 times until I answer the phone. The true translation of her words: "phone lift cheyydaniki anta problem ga unda mundu bill kattu" - You don't even have time to answer the phone, first pay the bill" She acted like a thug who is hired for settlements and every time tries to threaten the customer with her arrogant voice as if I did a big sin in my life. The phone number that I received the call from is : [protected]. She called me again even I already paid the bill and I asked her if she was the one who called me couple of days ago. Again, this lady started tuning her arrogant tone and the true translation for the conversation: "nenu rojuku vanda mandiki phone chesta nuvvu naku gurtuntava endi" - "I call multiple customers and you're not the only person that I speak with" Then I informed her that I will file a complaint on the unprofessional that she showed towards me, here shoe goes: "nuvvu em chestukuntavo chesko mundithe bill kattu" - "do whatever you can but first pay the bill" I'm sure that nothing would be done on this but I just want to make sure that this doesn't happen again.

            My mobile Number:[protected] I had submitted the Form to port to Idea Kerala from the above Tata Docomo Kerala number on[protected]. I got a message on[protected] that my number will be ported at 00.41 hrs. The next morning I found out that my Docomo SIM has been deactivated and I inserted the Idea SIM. Not activated till date. I contacted the CC over email, no reply, so I sent a complaint to appellate authority, the executive there told me that the SIM number provided by the retailer differs from the one issued to me. She said she will contact me with a resolution, but nothing happened, and now she is not picking her phone or responding to my emails. Please do the needful. Saju Chandran [protected]

                  How can I dial 59059 if I am not getting signal? The SIM is not activated. Please do that..

                    I would like to advise idea users, choose any other network provider. I think idea is like, what an idea about how to cheat customers. This complaint is regarding my mobile #[protected]. I am first time user for idea postpaid connection and had subscribed for Rs.299 plan. I must say that Idea is a big piece of crap and your services sucks big time! From the day I bought the postpaid SIM card, I’ve been struggling with poor network reception, exceptionally slow speed even on 3G mode and last, but not the least, indefinite call drops. Keeping everything aside, the billing procedure was something that really pissed me off! I mean the customer isn’t dumb that you can try cheating him so easily. Just have a look on my bill. It’s near about 3400! I paid 300 within the first month on taking connection so you guys started thinking that I’m a loyal customer and I’ll pay whatever you charge! First of all I’ve got enough evidences to prove that you guys were wrong on your part if you try to sue me. I mean if you don’t gimme the data that I’ve subscribed for, how can you charge me fees on it? I subscribed for Rs.250 data plan which comes with 1GB 3G internet from Ideacellular site. After subscribing, I just got some 150MB out of it! Where were my rest of the data gone? Well, I got a blunt and boring response stating that I got the data on pro-ration basis. Cool! I wasn’t satisfied with these terms, but I had to accept whatever it were. I was aware of the pro-ration crap as i am first time user, i had just gone through Ideacellular site and activated 1GB internet pack but was unknown about the fact of bogus “Charges” on pro-ration, neither did the customer support staffs bothered to tell me about it. They never told me that I’ll be charged additionally for “Activating” data pack. And also there is no where it is mentioned that Data pack is pro-ration basis. please check attached snapshop from where i had subscribed for additional data pack, and let me know have you guys mentioned any thing about pro-ration basis. What the hell it is, why its hidden and how customer will aware about it. So it’s clear that it’s your dirty trick of earning big bucks by giving very tailored data so that the customer should activate a new data pack and you can implement your “pro-ration charges” on it which is of course, hidden. If you guys really implement this “pro-ration” charge then why didn’t any of your customer support officer told me about this? Why was it hidden? Next is about my whooping approx charge of Rs.2400 which was charged o[censored]sing the data. How could you charge me for using the data even though my data pack was active all the time? Like I stated earlier, I’m a heavy Internet user, so I keep data pack all the time active (That’s why i had added additional 1GB data pack). Although my data pack were active under which I’m not supposed to pay a single buck to use the data, how could you charge me for using it? And that too 2400! That’s really a big buck. You won’t improve your service, but would charge the customer as much as possible and implement all sorts of hidden fees. So from above two cases, it’s very transparent that you guys are trying to cheat me and charge me as much as possible because I paid my first bill without any complaint, although there is additional charges. Also, your customer support staffs are pathetic! They are the rudest guys I’ve ever seen. I was shocked when i got message, which says you had crossed your credit limit and you have to pay total bill of Rs.2700 something. I had contacted customer care regarding that, for which reason my account has been charged, but instead of solving my problem, they just said: “You’ve been charged for what you’ve used. we can only ask, once your bill generated. You have to pay at least 70% amount of total bill to continue with your service. I told them, for what should i pay, at least i knew reason behind it. Then its OK with me. But they replied, If you don’t pay your bill, your services will be closed. For other related information…..thank you for calling idea.” I tell you what, I’m encouraging you to please go ahead and shut down my service ASAP. I don’t want such a crap service where I’ve to struggle for getting proper reception and still I’m charged for what I haven’t used or unaware of. I’m also treated as dog by your so-called “customer support” executives. If you don’t reconsider and tailor the bill, I myself is going to throw the SIM on road. This was my first “real” bill cycle and you’ve given the worst shock! Do you think that if you’re going to charge me such crazy bucks, I’ll stick with you? Forget! So either reexamine my bill or close the services. I’ll be more than happy to switch to a service which charges honestly and don’t treat customers like dogs. And now I understand why my fellowships were refraining me from taking a Postpaid connection. What the hell Idea !!!

                      Idea cellular - haryana services are the worst. A simple thing of dispatching a post - paid bill to the e - mail has been pending. Many compliants by the consumer - daljit singh and no response. It shows very poor consumer services.

Like I stated earlier, I’m a heavy Internet user, so I keep data pack all the time active (That’s why i had added additional 1GB data pack). Although my data pack were active under which I’m not supposed to pay a single buck to use the data, how could you charge me for using it? And that too 2400! That’s really a big buck. You won’t improve your service, but would charge the customer as much as possible and implement all sorts of hidden fees. So from above two cases, it’s very transparent that you guys are trying to cheat me and charge me as much as possible because I paid my first bill without any complaint, although there is additional charges. Also, your customer support staffs are pathetic! They are the rudest guys I’ve ever seen. I was shocked when i got message, which says you had crossed your credit limit and you have to pay total bill of Rs.2700 something. I had contacted customer care regarding that, for which reason my account has been charged, but instead of solving my problem, they just said: “You’ve been charged for what you’ve used. we can only ask, once your bill generated. You have to pay at least 70% amount of total bill to continue with your service. I told them, why should i pay, at least i should know reason for it. Then it is ok for me. But they replied, If you don’t pay your bill, your services will be closed. For other related information…..thank you for calling idea.” I tell you what, I’m encouraging you to please go ahead and shut down my service ASAP. I don’t want such a crap service where I’ve to struggle for getting proper reception and still I’m charged for what I haven’t used or unaware of. I’m also treated as dog by your so-called “customer support” executives. If you don’t reconsider and tailor the bill, I myself is going to throw the SIM on road. This was my first “real” bill cycle and you’ve given the worst shock! Do you think that if you’re going to charge me such crazy bucks, I’ll stick with you? Forget! So either reexamine my bill or close the services. I’ll be more than happy to switch to a service which charges honestly and don’t treat customers like dogs. And now I understand why my fellowships were refraining me from taking a Postpaid connection. Go to hell Idea.

                          It's my worst experience with IDEA network... support team.. 1.When i was in Pune i ask to provide corporate SIM to respective sales person then he provided available SIM numbers which are not allocated any one so i have submitted every document...after 4 days sim was activated and i called to customer team for activation they said your sim is activated but your number was changed...then i asked that sales guy about wrong SIM, then he replied that is not his mistake need to contact nearest IDEA showroom...such XXXX sales persons working in IDEA company... 2.Now i asked international MNP for nearest IDEA store, he given new sim card and ask me to wait for 1 week for activation, then finally after 20 days i got message to alternate number your number is ready to use with IDEA network so i check new sim status but i's showing Registration failed, i called to CCare they don't Know other then Local knowledge and they don't support Registration failed issues, so my current SIM and new Sim not working, i have urgent calls but need to wait until nearest store open, Then i went to IDEA showroom, they checked new sim status and replied Sir it's not our fault another SIM activated instant of this SIM which you have then i ask for next action plan, then they want address proof and 50/- extra cost for new process then as per my urgency i said ok, after that Support person taken my registration failed SIM and changed number from another SIM and ask me to wait for 4 hours, after 3 hours i called to Ccare people for activation and said my name then they answered your verification is Wrong you have 30days time you can try up to this month... i tried again but no luck, finally i went to Store they ask me try again but no luck finally i requested Ccare people to confirm my number they said wrong number, again store persone mistake he wrongly given another person number then i asked for solution, he replied no luck sir we don't have MNP sims now you have come tomorrow.so i need to wait upto next day with out my SIM connection..finally next day he brought one sim for me...This is the way IDEA team will work with customers and they don't want customers happiness... they don't know how how to work and minimum common sens also... "Guys my suggestion to don't go with IDEA connection"

                            My mobile Number:[protected] I had submitted the Form to port to Idea Kerala from the above Tata Docomo Kerala number on[protected]. I got a message on[protected] that my number will be ported at 00.41 hrs. The next morning I found out that my Docomo SIM has been deactivated and I inserted the Idea SIM but no signal. I contacted the Customer Care, no reply from them so I posted a complaint with the Appellant Authority and they told me that the SIM number provided by the retailer does not match with the one that was given to me. The customer care executive told me that she will rectify the matter and will call me. Now she is not even returning my calls. For the last seven days I am not able to make or receive any calls.                                   From begining my rental plan was 149, after a few months it has been increased to 249. i have already talked with customer care representative. finally it was reduced to 199. but in the month of august the bill has been generated with the rental of Rs249. so iam not agree with this rental plan.

                                    I am narottam nagar from Kota Rajasthan. I have an idea postpaid connection but i am disconnect my Idea No. in month of January'2015. But Idea Celluar is not redund my security & my extra amount till date. Idea Cellular cheat to me. Your local outlet executive not satisfied to me and not given sufficient answer he is say to me my refund cheque already sent to courier but i have not received any cheque to you at till date.
