I’m Manjunath Staying in Viman nagar, Pune. My IDEA account number is[protected].
We would like to bring your notice that, after going through the Data plans of IDEA cellular, We had decided to get IDEA broadband data services. In this regard, We approached Idea company executive, Mr.Muqit Khan([protected]).
He came to our flat on 7th August 2015. He explained the various plans and showed us the list of the buildings where the new connection is possible, in which our society name was also listed.
We finalized the 6 month Broadband connection plan. Then and there itself we made the payment of Rs 5472 /-, by cash, and we were given an assurance that within two days, we will be getting the connection. And on 8th August we received the SMS saying that our account has been activated.
On 9th Aug 2015, person came for installation, but he could not complete the process saying that, the receiving of the signal in that building is very poor, so connection is not possible. Same thing was brought to the knowledge of Mr.Muqit Khan and his immediate senior Mr. Ashish Joshi([protected]), who in turn asked us to wait for 2-3 days to re-check the signal receiving quality in that building and will decide on giving the connection, once they get the report.
But since 12th Aug 2015, we were daily following up with them for the status, but in return we are getting mere reply like “It’ll be done today, as they got the report in favor of giving the new connection”. Also Mr.Muqit Khan had told us that the Engineer who came on 09th August, had checked the wrong port and there was another box. So the connection would be possible.
It’s been 13 days, since we made the payment and nothing has been done. If yor are finding some technical issues, which cannot be resolved, in giving the connection, you should bring that to our notice, so that we can decide upon the cancellation.
Even Today also when we contacted Mr.Muqit Khan, he told Engineer will be coming for the installation, as the technical issues were resolved. But his senior Mr. Ashish Joshi is not sure about it and suggesting us to wait till Friday 21st August 2015, if not, apply for the cancellation, where we’ll be getting the refund in cheque, within 45 days.
If you are unable to provide the connection, we want the refund within a day and in cash only, as we made payment then and there itself, that too in cash.
My complaint is not only about the cancellation. But it’s about the approach in dealing with the new customers.
To be honest, when we decided to get IDEA connection with the 6 month plan offer, we had discussed among our friends who showed keen interest in getting the same IDEA cellular data services. They were your prospective customers. But knowing the situation and the approach we are facing in getting the new connection, they will be having second thoughts now.
So my request to you that, close the issue ASAP either by giving the connection or refunding the amount.
