Just an advice to everyone to avoid this cheat company. They have continuously cheated with wrong plan description and forced subscription. Go for MNP. Even with unlimited 3G recharge, they start deducting silently from main balance till you exhaust all the money.

    Sir, I was using idea prepaid service on mob no. [protected] since long and applied to convert it into postpaid in the mid-july month in your service center situated at chhaparwala pul, Gwalior. I got a message on my alternative number on 24.07.2015 that my postpaid sim has been activated. But when I tried to use it, it was not in service. Later on, after again contacting your service center, I was informed that the sim has still not been activated and a new sim was provided to me. Thus, I got the activated sim from 1st August, 2015. I opted the plan of 399 Rs. for the postpaid servies. But, after 2 days only, I started to receive a message that "Ur data pack is 3G 1GB pack, ...MB can be used till[protected]. After again contacting to your office, I was informed that my bill date is 24.07.2015 instead of 01.08.2015 and no other query was solved there. Please look into the matter and inform the real facts of my date of billing, the actual usage of data etc and correct the same. Thank You, Yours Sincerely, Swati Agarwal, Gwalior

      I have an Idea 3G Postpaid Datacard and my number is [protected]. For the bill of Aug 2015 which is released on 15.08.15, they charged Rs.678/- for value added services like Filmegaane, Store99, Digvive Mobile Tv99, SMS-MT without any subscription by me. Only for SMS they charged Rs.450/-. I think only Idea people should tell how to send SMS from a datacard. When i spoke to the customer care they are telling that if we click on any advertisement these services are automatically get activated and SMS's are also from the same for which we are charged. He also told that Idea has no control on this which is very bad and leading to money looting. I have to pay the entire bill today as my service will be deactivated if that bill is not paid. So i need a refund of Rs.678/- towards the same and Idea should do something to block VAS on 3G postpaid datacards without actual subscription by the customer.

        I have relocated out of India on May 09'2015. Before that on May 06' 2015 I visited Idea gallery (Chinchwad Pune) to request for disconnection and they informed they cannot take request unless I clear my outstanding. I then asked my outstanding to clear my bills and place disconnection request. They said they cannot tell me my outstanding as my billing date is 15th (so wait till 15th may) to get bill generated and then I can request disconnection of my number by visiting to gallery (whereas I was bound to fly to US on May 9) hence I waited for bill to get generated and then on July 22 I got an Demand notice for payment of outstanding for which my friend personally visited Idea Gallery (Chinchwad) and made payments and requested again for disconnection of services. He was asked to provide my Photo ID proof (for which He has submitted my passport copy on same day). They orally confirmed about disconnection of services. Post that I even made several calls to Mr. Gaurav([protected] / [protected]) contact number provided on my demand notice, however he seems to be a busy person and some Idea customer lady answered the call on his behalf and I asked her to know the status on my disconnection request. I wasted 2 hours of my midnight hours trying to understand if disconnection request is under processing, and she confirmed I wont get any further bills and number will be discontinued. But today, as of 15th Aug I have received another bill from Idea cellular for Rs 330 which do not make any sense when I am not using any services.and also requested for disconnection several times . 1st by personally visiting idea gallery on May 06' 2015. 2nd My friend visiting on my behalf on July 22 to make / clear my outstanding demand notice and disconnection request. 3rd several emails to customer services of Idea to discontinue the services. I am being mentally tortured making ISD calls to customer services for almost 3 hours (totalling all) without any conclusion. Also Idea mentions about their email [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com incase of any complaints and this mailbox does not exist and emails to it are bounced.

              Hi, This is with reference to the high bill I have been charged by Idea for my mobile no for the period of 12th July to 11th Aug. 1) I was using the number in Pune, Maharashtra circle and I got the number ported to Delhi circle in the month of July, Postpaid connection Idea-Idea only. 2) The Idea guy in showroom here in gurgaon told me to make a payment of Rs 600 as it was my outstanding amount before porting. I had also checked with the customer care and same amount was outstanding. 3) I have been charged for Data usage on pro rate basis for 18 days and it has caused excess bill of Rs 1855.12 on the data usage. Now my query to idea is -- 1) Had I continued for 12-13 days and the month would have finished, this bill would have not come as I was under the monthly limit of Data, what kind of weird logic is that? 2)This is what i get from Idea for continuing with it for more than 9 years in Maharashtra circle and now in Gurgaon circle ? 3)Why did idea guys here not clarified on the bill if this is the logic followed ? 4)Why was being my limit continuously increased (Rs 13500) when i had told previously to decrease it, but it was never considered 5)Why am i being charged so much even if the network provider is same. 6)the customer care is pathetic (yesterday one guy disconnected after listening the whole thing, once call was transferred to senior dept, he pretended that he cannot hear anything and one said that if you have got the bill then pay it), is this a way to treat the loyal customers ? 7)Why my ISD faciltiy was removed when i ported to NCR circle, now i am being asked to pay security deposit for it ? It was a big mistake on my part that i continued for so many years with them.

                  I got the SMS from idea 3G independence sale. RS 295-2GB 3G internet - 28 days. offer ends 15th August But when i login to idea cellular I have not found any such offers. Does they sent SMS to customer to waste there time and increase number of clicks on there idea cellular website. Can you please help me to resolve this

                    [protected] Mosin Rayma Complaint against Mr Dhwanit idea mi cordinater [protected] i was going to port my number to Vodafone for 299 postpaid plan but idea mnp department Mr Tejas called me asked me for the reason of porting nd hell told me we have similar plan of 299 with 500 local mins nd 500 Mb 3g data please dont port your number so i went to idea store at bhuj they processed my request with same plan nd my adress got verified positively nd my number went offline nd i was given nee sim card which would start in 4-5 hours after address verification but it never started its 5 days since my main number is offline area cordinater Mr Dhwanit from gandhidham is refusing to start my sim telling thier is no such plan in idea i told him that mnp officer himself gave me this plan details but now he has i will not give that plan do whatever you want, so i told him convert my sim to prepaid again but he is refusing me nd telling me to activate another postpaid plan nd i have also deposited Rs 300 which he say wont be refunded in any circumstances neither he is activating my sim i told to register a complaint for my number but he said i wont do whatever you can now i want my number to prepaid again what shall i do

                          Dear sir, There was an offer in the news paper DAINIK JAGRAN by idea cellular on 13/08/2015 in varanasi and also computerized voice offer on mobil when I called somebody else that on recharge of Rs.265/- I will get 1gb 3g data & rs. 100/- as talk time.                               Dear Idea representative this was seriously an pathetic experience because of you people. Last week on 7/8/15 I recharged my idea net setter prepaid card ([protected]) with Rs. 698. I went home plugged the dongle to my laptop there was no range. I called the idea call center they told me my no. is barred and was given to some another person because I did not used my idea net setter no. for 60 days. Fine according to your company rules and regulation but you people message me on my idea mobile no. about recharges but you people cannot message me that my no. is barred and given to some else. I lost my 698 rs. Really careless and pathetic. I am thinking of going to consumer court with this complaint. please look into the matter. My. no. [protected]

                                Hello I vivek kumar prajapati, I got calls from IDEA Cellular Company for porting my airtel no [protected]

                                Sale executive gave me the Idea Sim no. ([protected]) after handing over my document & money and told me that the new sim will be activated within 7 days.

                                I got message from Idea Cellular that my airtel no. will deactivated on 08.08.2015 11:00pm.
                                I got deactivated but new Idea sim did not get activated.
                                I contacted customer care but there was no response from there end my no.
                                There executive say that they cannot help be any further as my sim is activated but my sim provided to me is wrong.

                                  Hi I applied for converting my postpaid connection to prepaid which was completed yesterday (Communication Id C1-[protected]). Since then the new sim is not working and cell displays "No Service" after putting in the new prepaid Sim. Idea customer care responded that it will take 72 hours to get your number reactive on prepaid means I wont be able to use this number for 3 days. Written couple of emails to customer care, but never got a response. (Email Reference Id E1-[protected], E1-[protected]) Dont understand why is this huge disruption of 72hrs just for postpaid to prepaid as MNP is done with just 2 hours of service disruption. Whereas there is no disruption if you convert from prepaid to postpaid. Such unethical practice I believe is done either to haress the customer or discourage them for going to prepaid services. Request Idea people to provide explaination (technical is fine as well) on such disruption and unnecessory haressment.

                                      Hi My Postpaid number is [protected] which i have migrated from Vodafone because of high value plan in Idea. I am working in HCL technologies. I am using a corporate Plan. of rental rs. 175/-. after taking this plan I add some of data package which costing 250 for 1 GB and 280 for 1 gb. On my request idea people increased the Credit Limit to 1500. because according to my normal usage i should get the bill of 500-700 . Till April 2015 i t was fine. The last payment i made was 750/ - on 10th of May 2015. Then on 27th may when my next bill generated they sent me the bill of rs. 2951.63./- which was unusual and way higher then my expectation. I called customer care and discuss the bill. I said "How can you people send the bill of this amount my credit limit is only 1500/- Bill Date -27th April Bill Period -27-Apr-2015 26-May-2015 after due date 3010. as per bill MNP_RET_CHAMP175 27-Apr[protected]May-2015 175.00 Total 175.00 data usage Mobile Web [protected]@250_3G 27-Apr[protected]May-2015 250.00 3G_1GBratecutter_ACC_280 -08-May[protected]May-2015 280.00 GPRS Fixed Validity Pack 7 250.00 GPRS Fixed Validity Pack 7 250.00 Wrong Charge --Disputed GPRS(Volume) Usage - 6931344.00 1496.27 I Denied to pay the wrong bill and asked to prepare the correct bill. When I am using data pack how can you charge separately for the same 1496/- Then they did not change the bill. therefore the problem starts. They kept sending me the wrong bill and i have send so many mails and calls to idea. nothing works. They also barred my services and then i bought a prepaid airtel number. Now today one of my relative got a call asking my number and payment. It was embarrassing for me and for them also. Now i contacted that lady who called my wife and my relative asking payment. I said please correct the bill and then i will make the payment. She said if you will not make the payment today by 12 noon. we will Permanently disconnect your number. Now i want to pay the complete and correct bill if i get it without extra rental and LPC. I have suffered a lot without my number. no one able to contact me i had spent hours in changing my number to bank, gas agencies school office and to friends. I was very annoying.                                       Since morning my friends relatives and family members have received the calls from this number asking for payment. Idea collection team trying to embarace me asking payment.when I dialed this number the lady is using unprofessional language. They also used bad words againgst me while talking to my friends and relatives.they also complaints about the same. Please solve this matter.

                                      Yesterday when i made the payment after speaking with applette officer. IDea Store people said this number belongs to Vodafone as the series is from Vodafone and now cant reactivate this number you need to contact Vodafone. You will not get this number back.So I am drafted a mail to vodafone. Now please suggest what to do how will i get my number back. One of the most pathetic experience i have had from IDEA . i would not be using IDEA services or products anymore though out my life. I had lot of trouble because of IDEA and now i lost my number. Please advise how to get my number back
