I port in my number to ur company in prepaid afterwards migrated to postpaid. But network coverage is so pathetic that from 24 hrs, 12-14hrs my numbers is out of coverage area.
All your advertisement and showing urself the best operator is really fake.
If my problem will not be resolved in next 7 days will file a case in consumer forum

I had recently ported to idea from airtel bysubmitting all my documents. And took 1 week to get the sim and another 2 days to get service started. After the long wait, the service finally started only to get stopped again today. My outgoing services have been blocked. I called up your support guy. He said some documents are missing and i should call the person who gave me the sim.
Your agent, nilima ([protected]) who had ported me to idea, does not pick up my calls
I was not given any intimation about this and my services stopped abruptly.
This is the service we get in india, no accountability, pathetic customer service no value for customer problems.

I am going to report this to consumer forum\court with very little hope that some action will be taken.

Please note that against our mobile no.[protected], there is un accounted charges or rs.342/- when we have called to customer care of idea cellular they said number 055315 is a astrology no. And on 12 july 2017 some body called from your no to this no an around 4 am and 17 july 2017 around 4.30 pm and speak for 35 minutes and 3 minutes respectively, so this is the charges for the same. Rs.9/minute and charges are correct.

But when we have tried to call this no. To check whether they are saying is correct or not and what we found is that no.055315 is in correct.

Calling to a incorrect no. We have to pay rs.342/- + gst charges extra, where no communication has done.

Please suggest us what to do. My communication mobile no.+91-[protected]

He have posted a car add in olx. And we liked the car but he said some other people are booked it and if you pay some advance he will block it for us,. So we just paid some advance later he switched off his phone. He cheated on us. It happened with almost 20people.. It has been more than 6 months since we have shifted to idea from vodafone and since then we are getting wrong bill on every month on some or the other number. Every month we have to give request and then you waive off the amount.

When you say that in the 349 plan there is 1gb data p/ day + unlimited data similar to what jio is offering, then why are you making un-necessary data charges over and above this? Why should you charge us then extra when you commit about the plan.

In this country where we have jio who takes 399+99 for 84 days and offers 1gb high speed + unlimited data, why should one stick with you and wait for you to harass us with this huge bills. Is this what we expect from esteemeed brands of birla group.

Now you have debarred our outgoing calls, may i ask why? When we are paying the amount to you every month then why have you done so. We have given our entire office/ business numbers to you, have we done some mistake? You charge us wrong and then you disconnect our numbers? Are you going to pay the loss of business to us?

My mobile number is [protected]. Last month i opted out from idea to vodafone through mnp. But vodafone messaged me that clear all dues of idea to active vodafone. So i cleared all dues and paid excess rs. 500.00 than the invoice and because of this my vodafone number activated. But thereafter they have raised the outstanding amount of rs. 2912.47 agaist some kind of data pack pro-ration charge of rs. 2300.00 which i have never activated.
It is done with a clear prejudice. Idea is a cheater amd fraud company.
Please do the needful against this.

You don't have an idea how much problem i m facing due to your poor 4g data service in mangaon, raigad maharashtra.

It's been 6 month i hv been part of idea as consumer but i must say such pathetic service i have never received from any telecom company.

Also, when i'm trying to register complaints with ivr i hv never got anyone on phone. Twice my phone disconnected due to busy cc service.

Hope you resolve my problem asap. Or else you will be out of my phone forever that's only i can do now. Rest of other...

Hi team,

I had called from my idea number [protected] regarding a small clarification of why rs 3 got deducted from my main balance. But customer support has kept me waiting for long time.

I waited for around 50 mins then i immediately called from another no, to get details of customer support person. Sunanda (Senior manager) mumbai centre, had received call from another mobile, while earlier call was still on hold, but she refused to give her details, as that lady belongs to a different centre.

I suspect she has been intimidated that, an escalated call is in progress, against her, that's why she disconnected the call and the call lasted for around 1 hr 15 mins, while i was still speaking to senior manager.

Now, i want to know is this the kind of service which idea provides and wants to flourish/prosper in telecom sector. If customer time is not important for the company, please declare it to trai.
I had literally wasted my weekend, just to get clarification for rs 3 issue. Has the company standards droped to such pitty level. I feel as if idea is exploiting customer sentiments and has no ethics of doing business.

Is this the kind of professionalism that idea adhere to? Whats the benefit of training that has been given to candidates? I need strict and appropriate action on this matter.

From the last week, i am getting flash messages such as "you have 500 mb data left in facebook account. Recharge with your best internet offer on *121#" which are very much annoying. I tried many ways and i couldn't solve it.in my idea power app l cannot find the links for deactivating it. My prepaid number is [protected] of your maharashtra circle.
Kindly deactivate it else i will be forced to port to other providers

I am an existing idea customer [protected] for year, recently i had buy a motorola mobile through flipkart, which was clubbed with a idea promotion that if get a recharge of amount 443 done through idea stores, it will benefit 84 gb unlimited 4g data & unlimited calling to any network for 84 days.

I got it done from idea c-scheme store - jaipur on 03 aug but on 31 aug, call's and data usages start charing from my main balance amount. I called up idea call centre 12345 on 31 aug & 01 sept, but didn't get a convincing amount and call centre asked me to contact the local store. The call centre was too rude over phone calls.
I went to local store c-scheme jaipur on 01 sept and they logged a complaint[protected] and they said it will resolve by 02 sept, but on 02 sept at 1900 hrs i got call from idea call centre that my 443 recharge was done only for 28 days and need to log a fresh complaint.

I don't know why it is happening, and no one taking the responsibility.
To whom i contact?
How will take the responsibility of this?

I have taken two (Post paid) sim cards from idea customer centre, neco garden, viman nagar, one for me and another one for my wife.

I had asked them specifically to give me a rs.199 plan which i can afford on a monthly basis.
Instead of giving me the rs.199 plan, they gave me the sim with plan of rs.499 (Which i never wanted).
When the first bill came, then only i came to know that they have cheated me the plan which i have not asked for.
When i went to them with the complaint, they told me that it is only rs.199 plan, and they would correct it by evening (2 months back).
I realized that it is done for more than a month, i thought of approaching them again.
But to my surprise, the store was closed down.
For more than a month, i was trying whether they would open the store (It is closed permanently).
Before 15-20 days i had approached another customer care centre, which is located on the ground floor of the royal towers, viman nagar, pune 411014.
They told me that, your number [protected] and [protected] are already disconnected, so that you do not have to pay anything against the bill.
Then, recently, i have started receiving messages from idea cellular ltd, telling that if you do not pay the bill, they will take legal action against me.
In the meanwhile i have paid a sum of rs. 600 at the customer care centre, royal tower, viman nagar, pune 411014 for cancelling both the sim numbers.
On 26.08.2017, i had been to the same centre and enquired about the same. I was told that, if you pay a sum of rs.1210, your connection would be cancelled. I agreed to that because i do not want any nonsense act following me. (I gave a letter on the same day for cancelling both the numbers: [protected] and [protected]). They told me that the [protected] is already disconnected, so you have to pay only for the number-[protected], which i did.
Now, i am receiving messages from them saying i have to pay rs.1810 for the number -[protected], not only that, they used to call more than 10 times a day asking for the payment.

Please help me with some solid suggestions, and help people who are becoming prey to these types of regular harassment by companies (Which are meant for service and not for harassing or mental torture for their own benefit).

My mo. No. Is [protected]. Today at 6.30 pm my 70 rs balance was deducted without my knowledge. Sms says animation was downloaded from nazara, but i have not downloaded any animation, i didn't even open any site. I talked to customer care 12345, but he didn't even try to listen my issue, he was forcing me to accept his opinion that i have downloaded that animation. I want my money back.

Hi my number is [protected]. This is postpaid sim. When i put this simin my motog4 plus handset they are unable to deduct the sim.in normal phone its deducting. So i visit nearest idea showroom they give me new sim. But still same problem other sim are working in my phone, even i have one more idea postpaid that also working i don'know whats the problem with this sim..

I had recently upgraded to an idea 4g sim from idea 3g sim.

There is some unknown set of strings that i keep receiving from number 58595 every morning around 7.30 to 7.40 a. M. They follow some sequence like " p#3&%^12!*&... " and then the chain of voicemail notification starts.

I searched for help regarding cbc flash message and all i know is to send stop to this number (58595).

I have already done that (Sent "stop" to 58595) and received a message back that says something like "dear user. We have received your request to stop cbc flash which will proceed soon." even after this, the irritating voicemail message continues to come.

The voicemail notification is utterly irritating and keeps popping up every 15-20 seconds.

I also called idea customer care and they replied that they have nothing to do with such flash messages. How can you not know someone who broadcasts flash messages using your network?

Their customer service is pathetic, even when you select "english" as your mode of communication, you are routed to a service agent that only knows assamese and does not understand english or hindi. Yuck!

Companies like idea cellular which take up peace of mind of their customers, should be sacked in courts for such a pathetic customer service. Of all the turnovers they have every day from customers, it hardly takes a fraction of that amount to set up services that receive complaints and address them quickly.

Believe me, i am already up for a port to a different network provider, if this issue is not resolved by this # company!

Hey # idea! Do not advise me to reach to a center in guwahati city to get this complaint resolved. Commuting to main city takes around 1 hour (22 km) from my college and everyone's time is precious, isn't it?

As per ur pamplet i recharged my phn with 63 rupees the pamplet said it will give up to 5 gb internet and when i recharged it showed me 2800 local sms free... I called customer care it was disgusting response he said nothing can be done and he directly ended the call if i will not get the response in time i will make sure u are going to be behind bars... Its ur responsibility to update the pamplet and update the retailers about ur new plan... I want a response as soon as possible and i will make sure that bloody guy who ended the call saying byee is this ur customer care service... I want a refund or recharge of 63 rs instead of sms plan ok... As iam not getting response.. Iam taking this to u

I have been using the idea network for a very long time. I use the 1gb per day plan for 28 days (Rs303). But, for the last 1-2 months, i have heard other idea customers say that they have a better option for rs404/rs397, where we get 84gb data for 84 days. When i contacted the customer care regarding the issue, they simply said i am not eligible for the offer. They never said on what basis, i am denied the offer. They say they don't know much about it as the decisions are taken by higher authority. This is really disappointing as it seems to be an unfair action. I humbly request you to look into the matter.
