I am unable to receive any text messages on my idea network (Otp specially). It has started from 28th may 2019, i did called the helpline and registered a complaint[protected]. Still there is no resolution. Please look into this asap. As i am unable to make online transactions. Idea team i have also spoke with the bank and they have informed that they are sending otp's and i need to check service provider, i am unable to receive any kind of otp.

I'm facing internet speed problem since 18 may, 2019, for that i lost my $100. I complained 4 times but same reply from company that "we've already checked, you've no problem."
This is cheating by taking money for 4g & giving speed of 1g. You really think, 4kb to 50 kb speed is always here as 4g, while i try to browse on brave, chrome browser? One thing i'd like to say that idea is on same way likewise were aircel. And i believe if problem not solved very shortly, it will loss its millions o[censored]sers, good luck...!

Idea on its website shows that the reception in my area is good but when inside the house I cannot access 4G network at all whereas near the road it is accessible, my place of residence is opposite to Maltidevi High School, Ambika Nagar No. 2 in Wagle Estate, Thane (West), and I'm unable to utilise 4G network inside the house at all, I have attached screenshots of how data coverage is advertised on the website including my location with respect to the coverage area and how I'm unable to access 4G network, and how weak the 2G network is inside the house. I already talked to Idea customer care about it but the situation has worsened, Reference number is[protected], earlier I used to occasionally get 4G and at least 4 bars of 2G network, now I get no 4G network at all and maximum 3 bars of 2G inside the house.

@idea very bad customer service for mumbai customer. Not able to connect on [protected]. No one supporting. My incoming sms & call's stops coming. Stuck in a bad situation, even not able to transfer the money because otp is not coming in, my family not able to connect me.

Just, not expected. A below average performance from "largest network service" provider, who lest-bother about their loyal customers.

I went to the idea Store that is located in the Kalkaji branch, New Delhi. I request them to Provide Sim because my phone has been lost. So they denied they dont have and go in another branch. It happen with me 2nd time.

I got call from idea for porting my number from airtel, she told her name is kannika (Below i am sharing all the numbers i have), she asked me to send my documents via whatsapp and i have shared all documents which is required for porting. After all process completed she told me that its delhi (Ncr) sim, i had already informed her in beginning that i am from bangalore and i want karnataka sim.

Now my old (Airtel) sim got deactivated and i haven't received new sim yet. It's been 3 days now my number is not working and i am not getting any response from kannika or her team. Hi,
Today morning (28 may 2019) i exchanged 4g sim. Its been more than 5 hours it's still not activated. When contacted to customer care they say its still in progress and they have no clue when will it be activated.

Problem started from 25th may when i first time exchanged my sim. Initially it got activated but suddenly got deactivated after few hours. I was advised to exchange sim again by customer care. I did same on 28th may but as mentioned initially that its still not activated.

I have already wasted 3 days in it. Can somebody look into this miserable customer care to make them more useful for customer. Whats point if they are as clueless as customer.

Updated by saurabh lale There is some IT related issue going on which is root cause of all this mess.
There are very service issue as far as customer care is concerned.

1) No customer care executive (on call support) have any clue about this issue.
2) No Idea store representative has slightest clue about this IT issue.

Both off then provide any random guessed solution on this problem which has wasted almost week of mine.
I got know about this problem when i visited Idea customer care main office.

To harass further they are now saying it will take 3 more days (1 week already gone).
What kind of service provider take 10 days to solve such critical issue.

Utterly disappointed with this pathetic service by Idea cellular.

Not getting incoming calls on Idea number. I am able to make calls to other networks. I receive sms but not getting incoming calls. It says service is temporarily stopped for this number. Tried contacting customer care but no one is available.
Please start my incoming call service or at least provide reason why its been stopped.

I have upgraded my idea 3g sim card to idea 4g sim card on saturday morning.
But till now am not able to receive any sms, however am able to send messages.

I tried inserting my sim card in another hand set but it didn't work.

I also tried editing my sms centre details and rebooted, it didn't work.

Could you please check it on priority as it blocks me completely from all kinds of accesses.

We were contacted by a person who requested the use of our site for an idea cell tower. He said that we will be paid a monthly rent for the use of our site for a period of 10 years. He also says he is speaking from mumbai. We accepted and he sent 2 documents by mail requesting our signature on them saying our site has been confirmed for the tower construction. I'm attaching the documents he sent us. Please inform if it is legit.

I tried to send port message to 1900 from my idea number [protected] by using format port to port to jio. How ever the messages are not being sent, it shows sending failed. I have tested sending messages to other numbers and it works but messages sent to 1900 are being blocked. I have talked to idea customer care who repeatedly states that they couldnt find any reasons why port messages wouldnt be delivered. Please help.

I am not receiving any calls or sms since yesterday i. E, 25th may 2019. When others try to call, they're said my phone number is not in coverage area but the signal strength is high. I'm not even receiving any otp messages. But when i make call to someone, then i am receiving past messages at once.

I tried switching off and taking the sim out and inserting again. But it didn't work

There is a major network problem of idea there in Maharashtra specially in rural areas. The mobile data doesn't work properly. the network is always on low connection. When people try to connect, it shows out of reach most of the time.
