I got new 4g sim yesterday evening (25 may 2019). My idea number is [protected]. It got activated after 4 hours. I was able to make and receive calls. However on next day morning it suddenly got deactivated for no reason.

Called customer care bu they didn't had any definite answer. They donnt know what to do in such situation. They told they will contact there customer care service but no feedback far. My alternate number for complaint registration is [protected].

This is really pathetic service and eating up my time.

This problem is not yet resolve, My sim only worked for few hours and then stopped working. Its not not activated till now.

    In this week I received a Ivrs call (from
    no.[protected] idea), on my mobile no.[protected]. forcing for value added services like sports update etc, but when tried to end the call without any response to same by pressing end call button .then after my balance was deducted by ₹ 5
    . Same had happened twice in this week. For the same I called customer care they are also help less in this regard, so kindly request you to stop such mall practices followed by so called leading company like idea. Thxs

      Hello i am a user of idea service i migrate my number post to pre without completing 90 days the store executive says me your deposit will not be refund because you migrate within 90 day.
      What it's true no, no condition is considered when i get postpaid connection. After conversation with customer care executive they says we have no details about your security money please contact to store but i have no recipts for deposite please solve the problem as soon as possible.

      After the conversion with lakshmi man I again visit at the idea store they display me my account details here is no security amount is pending
      Again after conversation with customer care executive they says we have no details about your security money please contact to store but i have no recipts for deposite please solve the problem as soon as possible.

        Sir please do something i am frequently getting missed call from unknown international number and whenever i call back it deducted my all balance i already attached the screenshot of all the missed call which i am getting...           In spite of subscribing to do not disturb, idea cellular still sends offers and promotions as well as suggestions to recharge which is not necessary because i have recharged with 1699 inr and validity gets over on april 2020. I understand the need for the company to make profits but it is an unethical practice to keep sending promotional offers when i'm clearly not interested in them. I've attached a picture herewith which shows i've already subscribed to do not disturb as well as idea's promotional offers being sent in spite of the dnd.

          Idea seemed to not send any such sales promotion messages for a while, it had been restarted once again as noticeable in the attached screenshot. Please provide a permanent solution if possible.

          Complaining to Idea seems useless, I'm still getting Idea's own advertisements as well as external ones, I'm not sure how seriously Idea takes TRAIs rules but I might apply for appeals there.

            I tried to send port message to 1900 from my idea number [[protected]] by using format mnp. How ever the messages are not being sent, it shows sending failed. I have tested sending messages to other numbers and it works but messages sent to 1900 are being blocked. I have talked to idea customer care who repeatedly states that they couldnt find any reasons why port messages wouldnt be delivered. Please help

                Over some message sent by 51998, my mobile number has been charged 3 rupees, i've seen this complaint shared by another person as well but it should be noted that i haven't activated any value added services on my number. It's fine for telecom services to notify consumers when they have less balance or to even cajole them to try out such value added services but it's definitely an unfair trade practice to force money out of one's consumers for profit when they don't seek it. I've attached the screenshot herewith.

                If I may ask, why is the mobile number even required when the same messages are coming to all the other three Idea numbers I have on which DND has been activated as well?
                Clearly the problem isn't persisting only on my mobile number so please stop spamming all Idea customers over offers and promotions when they have activated DND and their balance validity isn't ending.

                  I received a message from 51998. Then, i've been charged ₹5 and ₹10. It happened to me 2 times within 2 months. I received first message after 1 april, 2019. Second one was received on 23 may, 2019. First one was about a hindi shayari and second one was about - to download a hindi bhajan. I talked to a executive but he was very unclear and very rude.
                  It just clears my whole account balance.

                  I'm not interested in your service. So, please stop it now.

                      My idea prepaid number is [protected]

                      It was for my mother and did not use it for few months.

                      When i topped up my account it did not get activated. The topup was successful but my account is yet barred.

                      Please activate the sim as it has been inactive and she was unable to use it because of some issue with her health. Please activate the number as it wasn't used for unauthorized works

                        I have port my mobile number from airtel to idea. After few days, i got a message from idea on 19th apr to send proof of bill paid to mnp. [protected]@vodafoneidea.com or visit the idea showroom.
                        I 've sent the proof of bill paid to mnp. [protected]@vodafoneidea.com.
                        After that i 've tried to contact customer care few minutes to activate but invain.

                        Attached both the proofs of idea message and mail sent proof.

                          I have recently ported to idea network, the new sim has been activated & i can see the network of idea in my mobile. I have completed the televerification process by calling 59059, it said that my services will be activated shortly & to restart my device after 15 minutes. I have done that also, but now when i try to call on any other number or even on 121 only ivr system is responding & telling that all recharge related services are available on 121 only.
                          I have installed myidea app, it is showing my number & name but showing zero balance, i tried to rechagre my number but the transaction failed.
                          Please help in this issue.

                                There is sufficient balance in my account and recharge has been done. How ever when ever i try calling any one it says, there is no balance, which is not right.

                                I am unable to contact customer as outgoing is blocked.

                                I did chat with the agent and he does not seem to understand the problem and keeps asking my house address and vague questions.

                                  I changed my postpaid plan to prepaid plan long time back, and I was suppose to get my balance as refund from idea. After many request in customer care center and email, I didnt received updates about my balance refund yet. Its been more than 6 months.                                     फरवरी २०१९ में मैंने अपना आईडिया प्रीपेड सिम आईडिया पोस्टपेड में कंपनी वालो के कहने पर लिया उन्होंने बोला की आपको ३०० रूपये महीने में अच्छी सर्विस मिलेगी। फरवरी से मई महीना आ गया, आज तक उससे ना ही तो इंटरनेट चला न ही कॉल हुई और ना ही कोई कॉल आती थी। कभी नेटवर्क आ गए भूल से तो कोई कॉल आ गयी वरना कभी नहीं। मैं कंपनी में कस्टमर केयर में कॉल कर कर के थक गया, की मुझे इन परेशानियो का सामना करना पड़ रहा है, नेटवर्क नहीं आते फोन में, और आप बिल मरे मेल आईडी पर बिलकुल टाइम पर भेज देते हो। हर महीने ३०० रूपये। फरवरी से मई का महीना आ गया अभी तक कंपनी वालो ने मेरी समस्या का कोई समाधान नहीं निकाला हर बार एक ही बहाना बनाते है की टेक्निकल प्रॉब्लम है, सभी के साथ है। इतना बड़ा नेटवर्क है आईडिया कंपनी का और अब तो वोडाफोन भी साथ में है, पता नहीं इतना बड़ा नेटवर्क होते हुए भी कस्टमर को अच्छी सर्विस नहीं दे सकते।

                                      Idea representative is continuously calling my mother and abusing her. My mother is a heart patient and if anything bad happen to her health idea is only responsible. The idea reprentative is telling that they will enter our home and take all the things even he is telling that he will discontinue our mobile service which my old mother is using for emergency, this all they are doing becouse we are not recharging their service.                                         Hi team

                                        My sim has been deactivated due to validity expiration. I have been a loyal user of idea since 10 years. I have this sim with me which is registered to all the forums and groups.

                                        I wasn't sure about the validity expiration messages i was getting, as i use multiple sims in the same phone and the message never talked anything about deactivation of the sim. Even, i got message yesterday evening to check my validity.

                                        I need to get my number back as i have been using this number for past 10 years. I was on roaming for couple of months and couldn't got the fact that there is some validity period also. I wasn't aware of the fact that the sim could also be deactivated in cases where user has been using it for past 10 years.
