I ported my sim from BSNL TO IDEA. My BSNL sim got cancelled today (16 July) but when I put my IDEA sim it's not working. I tried calling 59059 but it says this facility is not available. When I checked the APN its showing IDEA Maharashtra instead of IDEA Kerala. I think it was the worst decision to port to IDEA. I am not able to call the customer care as well. I don't have any alternative sim card. I NEED to get this resolved ASAP. My contact number is [protected]

    I have recharged for unlimited pack of calling and 2gb data per day.. Bt by having unlimited pack there are limits given on my number.. When I have recharged it was clearly mentioned that the calling will be unlimited. I don't use the call much daily. Bt when it is needed there are limitations.. Strict action should be taken and each thing should be told to the consumer about the limits or hidden things not mentioned in the pack when we recharge.

      I had a Idea Prepaid connection for more than 3 years, recently the connection got disconnect as I was not available in india.

      When I contacted the idea store, I was told that the sim was inactivated.

      I moved to Idea through MNP from Tata docomo.

      Store person told me that the sim is inactivated and i need to contact Tata telecom.

      How could i contact Tata when the number was already with idea with whom I have been there for many years

      Very bad customer service, support team took 20 days to call me. poor service.
      I resolved the issue by myself by spending 2 days.
      I recharged yesterday fir 10 GB pack and today I am receiving message that I have only 50 mb left, is this a joke ? And when I called customer care they are not being able to help and hanged up the phone, I need clarification asap.

        premium sms charges in postpaid bill

        My idea postpaid bill has a new item called "premium sms" which i dont know what is for and how they charged without my knowledge of subscribing something like that.           My name is Parnika Shrivastava and i have using idea services since a very long time but i think its time to discontinue the services further. Since, last 2 days no one is able to reach me through my phone as i am not receiving any calls since saturday.
          As i thought there could be some issue i didn't complaint on Saturday but when the same situation continued, i called them almost 7-8 times after every 4hrs as the customer care executives informed me that there are certain kind of work going or may some kind o[censored]pgradation. They said the down time will be 4hrs and the problem will get resolved. But to my surprise till today, obviously the 3rd day, my problem is not yet resolved and everytime i call i hear the same 4hrs story.
          I just want the services to start asap or else i have to reach the management for the same.

            I am a new customer to Idea (my no. [protected]) and have received 2 bill till date. I have been enrolled in a plan where I was informed that I have 20GB data free for one billing cycle.
            In the last 2 bills I was charged for GPRS with RS.500 plus amounts.

            I am trying to reach your customer care on 12345 & 198 numbers but it seems all customer care executives are busy and the line is getting disconnected.

            Idea Cellular has contacted me and after hearing my complaint have informed me that I had dialed their service no. (1925) for internet services and pressed 1, which indicates that I need internet services, hence they are charging for my internet usage.
            I informed them that I received an SMS from Idea asking me to do so, how am I to know that the message is not for a user like me who have the data package involved with my selected plan. This is actually the company taking advantage of the ignorance of the users. Only when I call, they are telling me that I was not supposed to select 1 after dialing 1925.
            They and have taken my complaint, they are yet to provide me a resolution. Will update once I get the resolution, if I get one...

                I am idea customer since may 2018 and My idea account number is[protected] and have Nirvana plan 289
                and have two connections in the plan, when activated the idea representative told me that bill would come to around 550 for both connections after discount, but for last two months it was 715 and 950 respectively .. when I called customer care they told me to go to the place where I got my connection activated. is it mandatory to go there or any nearby idea store can convert it to post paid by presenting necessary documents ? I have been to nearest store multiple times as well talked to customer care many times, but have not had any success. please help me .Looking forward for your response!!

                      I have tried to port my number multiple times but my request for putting the number got rejected 2 times.
                      The cancellation record is as follows :

                      These port cancellations were not done by me.
                      Idea customer care are not at all supporting this porting request. The porting request gets cancelled in a few days automatically.

                              My name is Sumit and I am using Idea connection with number[protected] from many years unfortunately my phone got lost that's why I have block outgoing call.
                              I went to Idea office for getting my SIM exchange but SIM was issued on my father name who passed away in 2012.
                              I am submitting my valid father ID with my valid Aadhaar Card and voter ID card but still after three visit in My Idea showroom, sim exchange of my number has not been processed and is getting cancelled again and again. So please requesting you to get this issue resolved as soon as possible as I cannot afford to lose this number as I am using this number in my business as well as number is distributed to all my family and friend contact.
                              So please consider my application request and make my SIM exchange processed.

                                  Dear Team,
                                  My name is Prateek Oswal, I am Loyal Customer to Idea Cellular Ltd using postpaid services since long. Holding 2-Postpaid Idea Cellular Numbers i.e. [protected](Primary), [protected](Secondary). I had received a call of Anjali from your Retention Department 25 days back against My Number [protected] for Waiver Dispute and Non Payment of Rs. 976.

                                  I found an interaction with Anjali from retention department for below mentioned points.

                                  1) After Activation of Nirvana 389/- Plan in which i was suppose to receive Rs.100 Discount(On each number) + 20% clubbing discount(on each number).
                                  2) Late Payment Fees Discount.
                                  3) My number was temporally disabled since more than 60 days, due to non payment because of above mentioned discount issues.
                                  4) Loss of my business due to barring.

                                  Considering all the above mentioned issues your team has committed to give waiver of Rs.500/- on my Number [protected]. I was told to do payment of Rs.476(Paid by me as per commitment) Remaining Rs.500/- will be given as retention waiver or discount for continuing services out of total bill Rs.976/-. Today in the morning 12:43PM itself again I received a call from [protected]-Simran was there on-call from retention department, I have disclosed all the above mentioned issues to her as well to process my Retention Waiver. She said - if it been said by our team it will be process soon. Now in the evening I have given a call to [protected]-Simran(Retention department) at 03:57PM requesting her to fulfill commitment, then she was denying her teams commitment and stating different excuse & referring to call 198-Customer Care Department for the same.

                                  I didn't receive any waiver amount inspite of that my number status is on barred/deactivated mode. Its my humble request to do needful as mentioned above at the earliest.

                                  I am very disappointed with this kind of services from Idea Cellular Ltd, where no buddy is committed over there commitment. How an customer can find out a trust on such a big operator company.

                                  Hereby waiting for your retention department commitment i.e. Waiver Rs.500/- to get fulfilled.

                                    My idea no- [protected]

                                    MY port REQUEST was accepted
                                    yesterday but no 4g signal in idea and in jio too..

                                    I have completed all required settings and also visited idea store but nothing happened.

                                    I have 4g sim card and not 3g but only 3g signal was provided..
                                    .

                                    I have done all the settings tried restarting too but nothing happened .

                                    I did not expect this service from idea

                                    So now Plzz restore my 4g signal
