My complaint is about inimformed prorated overage charges on my post paid plan.
I have changed the plan on 1st june, 2018 where it is said that 20gb data plan for the month inder plan nirvana_389.
Company has charged me rs. 230.76 as overage charges for 1st june, 2018 for data pack.

It was not mentioned any where in plan details as well as there was no such information shared by idea cellular while changing the plan.

This not acceptable to me.

Kindly register my complain against idea as i have seen here that this malpractice has been happening with a lot of other folks too and kept unattended many times on complaint with idea

      I have visited 3 times nearest idea store for submitting rewuestion for conversion of postpaid service to prepaid. Every time i get a msg that u tried contacting but failed hence request got concelled. I am not getting this point that u are contacting using same network and still you say you failed connecting. How can one rely on your network.
      I am highly disappointed with this kind of service. If i didnot get response to this message i ll be forced to send complain to higher authorities.

          I have been told on ivr that if you recharge with rs 40 full talktime will be given and your outstanding rs 8 also no more liable to you but not given by idea.
          I called cc to help they replied please ignor
          The offer which was told in ivr. No such offer can be available... As per his knowlege.
          Hence i have to complain. Should i start to ignor offers witch is provided to help customer??? Ignor. Why not i also ignor to recharge??? Or to change the sim???

            I had closed post paid mobile service No769****261in 2014 & paid RS.918.05 (against monthly charges RS.505.62)extra charged by IDEA. After 4 yrs they had sent notice for pyt of RS.2422 + notice charges of advocate N S Vaghela. I hv called them to re-checked but No response received. This is nothing but harrassment. They MUST stop such harrassment.

But i didn't send any messages from this number. I also visited idea store for the above matter but they were unable to help me out. I am not a tele marketer and i did not send any marketing message.                 Tuesday I submitted application for duplicate sim for [protected] in our local idea store sasthamkotta. They said it will take 3 full days to get one as this number is not aadhar linked. I got the sim today only and it is not picking network. They told sim is active and can use within 15 minutes. I tried it in 3 different sets but none works.Customer care and idea store people behave very badly regarding this issue. What I need to do after waiting 4 days for a duplicate sim. Expecting prompt reply.

                  Idea service ltd. Is charging 4g connection rates and providing service which is not even comparable to 2g service.
                  This in turns forfeit the right of consumers of getting services for which they have paid. Idea is pprtraiying like providing 4g services but speed is not adequate and not matching with 4g speed, and again since 2 days it is not even showing 4g mark on mobile.

                    I have ported out my phone from Idea to other service provider due to their bad service. My Idea account number is[protected]. The port out request was completed on 09 sep 2017. I had paid an security of INR2000/- which was supposed to be refunded back to me. Even after multiple visits to their Patiala Showroom (Leela Bhawan) and requests (every time I visit a standard answer is given that your request for refund has been registered and you need not come back to the office, as the refund will reach you at your home. - still no refund.) I have yet to receive the refund. Interestingly they have a TAT for every complaint but no TAT for refunds & neither any satisfactory answer to why it has not come. All they tell you not to comeback as your request is registered and the refund will come to your home.

                    Just one Question if the consumer does not pay his bills on time and tells them that the request to pay has been registered by him will they provide him the service or not. Then how can they have such a callous attitude on customer refunds with no TAT or responsibility ?

                              Under instructions and on behalf of my client idea cellular limited, a telecom company registered under the companies act and having its corporate office at idea cellular limited, worli, mumbai – 400098 and one of its circle office at idea cellular ltd, sharada center, 11/1 erandwane, karve road pune - 411004, we hereby serve upon you the following legal notice.

                              My client is engaged in the business of providing cellular mobile telephone services inter - alia in the maharashtra circle service area by virtue of license granted by department of telecommunication, ministry of communication and government of india.

                              My clients state that you have subscribed for a mobile phone connection and it was sanctioned to you on your submission of customer application form and other related forms/documents ("caf" hereinafter) to my client and theaforesaid mobile phone connection and account no.[protected]was allotted to you. You have availed and enjoyed best of the service/s provided by my client after activation of the said mobile phone connection.

                              As per the terms of the subscription, you were under an obligation inter - alia to make payments of the periodic bills raised upon you in respect of services availed by you. However, in spite of the receipt of the said bills from my client, you have grossly failed to make the said payments. As a result a sum of rs.776is due and payable by you to my client, as on date.                                 I am postpaid so called platinum customer of west up with number [protected] with credit limit of 1, 54, 000 came to UK and Europe for 10 days after activating international roaming pack of 5999 valid for one month, the very next day i got the message that your number has been barred on calling customer care i was told that your unbilled amount is 26000 so please pay to unbar ...i asked its not possible they told actually your phone automatically selected the network in roaming which is not our partner so your pack was not used and base rate was used, i asked how come in my dreams i or my phone is suppose to know who is your partner and anyways we can solve this issue once i am back i have a huge credit limit kindly unbar my phone and tel me what i can do to elect your partner ...but she only insisted you pay first ..think of the mess i am facing here ..after spending so much money ...it sucks ...

                                  I repeatedly got call from different numbers asking for someone.

                                  On telling that i don't know about him, the girl said i talk to him on regularly.

                                  Then i realized that it is my friend's phone number - [protected]

                                  She abused me, threatened "sar phod dungi" without telling any reason.

                                  Later after we tried to contact her she said about the outstanding bill.

                                  In the era where telephone company charges rs 500 for free unlimited call, idea charges rs 6, 500

                                  More over they have recovery agents who harass their consumers.

                                    This complaint is regarding to keep my number in safe custody with 50 rs monthly rental.
                                    I have raised a request on 20th June 2018 and as per mail received i have paid all outstanding amount which was wrongly billed.
                                    And again on 28 june 2018 i sent a mail saying that keep my number in safe custody when i come back to india i will convert this in prepaid.
                                    But as per Idea customer care (Sagar) has not received any mail on dated 28th June from my side.
                                    All the evidences has been share to Idea Customer care.
                                    Thank you so much as i got a immediate call from Idea...

                                      Sir i am purchasing two post paid sims. Bill circke date 25th june 2018. Bill paid amount date 8th july 2018. But both sim service directly disscounted why discount my service. And complete to idea dealer varad agency. Nashik.

                                        I am Ranvijay and recently ported my mobile number from Airtel to Idea due to network issue in Sector 143 Noida -201306. The idea sales team (Mr. Ravi – mobile no: [protected]) called me and promoted/promised that Idea has better network coverage and 4G data speed. He guarantees that the ‘Idea’ have the best network in this area and convince me to port from Airtel to Idea.
                                        However, when my port request completed and I become Idea customer, the moment I start facing the data and voice issue. I am getting 2G –Edge network through Idea 4G SIM and data and voice quality is worst among all network providers. I am cheated and humiliated by making the false commitment by Idea and especially by Mr. Ravi (sales team). I am not even port again to Airtel which have better network compare to Idea due to TRAI restriction for minimum 3 month required to stay with a current operator for porting request.

                                        I am highlighting this issue to you so that please take corrective action either by rectify all network issues or refrained your sales team to stop making the false commitment of being best network. In this era, if we still getting 2G- Edge signal from Idea network then I think you have the worst network and led to the worst network provider.
