I'd like to submit a complaint against idea cellular. I have a post paid connection with idea and had submitted a request to activate international roaming for australia in the end of jan. I was asked to deposit a refundable deposit of rs 3700 at the time to activate international roaming for australia which i did at the time, at idea store in indore.in mid feb, i received a bill which included rs 5000 pack for international roaming and since then i have spoken to idea innumerable times, requesting them to correct my bill as i never requested for rs 5000 pack. During a recent call to their customer care, i was told that they had charged rs 5000 in my bill incorrectly as it was supposed to be rs 2499 for australia international roaming plan but they advised that i had to write to idea nodal office () for correcting the bill, as customer care did not have the authorization to reverse the charges. Despite several reminders on e-mails, i have not received the corrected bill.in addition, i'm being harassed by idea as they have deactivated my number for nearly 4 weeks now due to non payment of the bill - which i obviously can't pay until a corrected bill amount is shared with me. I'd like your help in having this matter resolved asap with idea.

Updated by pallavi.mehta9 Response received from Idea appellate today: we would again like to reiterate that no refund was found feasible towards # [protected] and an amount of 8787.24/- needs to be cleared for further uninterrupted services.
I don't understand why I need to pay Rs 5000 (included in this bill) for a package that I neither requested nor does such a package exist for Australia as per Idea customer care! I will be traveling to India next week & need my number activated before then. Im being harassed by Idea by not having my number activated. I'd like not just my bill corrected but also to be paid compensation for the business I have lost in last few weeks by not having my phone active approx Rs 10, 000).

Updated by pallavi.mehta9 This issue has taken more than a month and still no response from Idea! 7 need my phone active when I'm traveling back to india this week and they are simply harassing me by not activating my phone and not responding to my innumerable follow ups.

However I still want to dispute this incorrect amount charged to me and claim refund. HOW CAN IDEA CHARGE ME INR 5000 FOR AN INTERNATIONAL ROAMING PACK FOR AUSTRALIA WHEN SUCH A PACK DOESN'T ECIST AT ALL? ON IDEA WEBSITE CLEARLY HAS INR 2499 PACK FOR AUSTRALIA WHICH HAS 500 MINS OF INCOMING AND OUTGOING FREE, WHICH MEANS INR 703 CHARGED IN MY LAST BILL FOR USAGE IN AUSTRALIA ALSO NEEDS TO BE REVERSED AND INR 5000 NEEDS TO BE REVERSED AND ALL OF THIS REFUNDED BACK TO ME. IDEA ALSO HAS MY SECURITY DEPOSIT OF INR 3700 WHICH I HAVEN'T RECEIVED BACK. NEED RESOLUTION AND REFUND ASAP!
