I am having idea postpaid connection mobile no. 81*593. Even after closure of connection company is continuously sending mail and doing phone calls for bill payment of rs.1000. They have also send notice of n. S. Vaghela advocate highcourt. This is totally harassment from the company. Idea cellular is adding the charges for the services not taken, and then harassing the customers for bill payment. Idea is now cheating the customers and harassing them

    Because i've shifted to another state, i couldn't use my idea number for few months, so they allocated it to someone else.

    I was using this number since last two-three years and when i called to idea customer care from another card (Non-idea) for complaining about it, then he was keep telling me that i am calling from the this number.

    I mean how is that possible? I'm pretty sure that i was calling from another network with different number.

    By giving my number to someone else they breached my privacy.

    Kindly provide me that number back or just block it as soon as possible.

      This is regarding the mobile number [protected], which i had applied to port from postpaid to prepaid on 13th july, 2017. The issue was raised from idea care center located in kalyani nagar, pune, maharashtra.

      The person who was handling my issue asked me to pay a sum of 200 rupees on 13th of july, 2017 and asked me to wait for 4 days without using the sim. I waited for four days without using the postpaid sim, in between idea customer care called me multiple times to inquire why i was porting. After multiple calls came from your side and waiting period i went to idea care, kalyani nagar, pune again on 26th of july, 2017 to ask what was the issue.

      Upon reaching there they asked me to pay for the remaining amount which was billed after 20th july, 2017. Also, the idea care person said it was my fault that i paid the bill earlier which they only asked me to pay on 13th july, 2017. Is this the kind of service provided to the customer, as i already paid the bill as asked by idea care person on 13th july, 2017. If there was any bill amount pending you could have asked me to pay on 13th july, 2017 itself. I would have cleared on that same day.

      I then approached idea cellular customer care and appellate mh on 29th july, 2017. On this sahil patwegar called me on 31st july 2017, while i stated all the scenario. He apologized for the inconvenience and asked me to approach with this issue to the nearest idea store with a aadhar card xerox and necessary documents for the porting of the number to prepaid. Later, he mailed me the same and also mentioned that i'll have to pay the outstanding amount. Upon this i mailed him back stating i won't be paying any amount as i haven't used any of your services after 13th july, 2017.
      He replied stating that the amount will be waived by 3rd august, 2017.

      However, in the meantime, the billing cycle was continued and there was an amount shown against my connection for rental charge. They waived the amount but also mentioned that porting is cancelled, as i had to pay outstanding pro rata unbilled amount of 195.88 rs. I told them that i have stopped using the connection and the additional days were taken due to inability from idea store to convert to prepaid. I clearly mentioned that i wont be paying the outstanding amount both on follow up calls and also on mails to customer care. Later the request was put on hold and since then they are following up for payment.

      I have sent the emails to customer care executive that i wont be paying the amount and asked to convert my connection to prepaid first. But got no response.

      Now, recently i received a mail from idea cellular with subjectline "lok nyaylay intimation! Idea cellular"

      Dear customer,

      Greetings of the day.

      This is to inform, you are requested to attend lok adalat at shivaji nagar court on 14thapr2018 from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm for settlement of your account

      Thereafter despite of repeat requests and reminders by our company representatives, you have not paid the said outstanding amount till date.in case of any queries, please get in touch with legal representative on: - saurabh /[protected]

          I was having mobile connection no [protected]. This no was mostly used for overseas trips n hence security of ₹2500 was taken by idea cellular. Most of the time voice service was not upto the mark. Billing was problem all the time. The personal service provided by the hub was just horrible. The worst was switching off the connection at odd hours of night on return from china. Was trying desperately for a cab n this happened as the driver couldn’t contact us. Apart from harassment we were charged penalties by uber. After a great persuasion the connection was restored but again switched off in the morning. I then did the mnp. I asked idea cellular to refund my security deposit of ₹2500. They said that it would take two months. Whenever i visited company’s hub at bodakdev gujarat i was told that it’s under process and the cheque would be sent soon. I made a complaint in this regard and after some time got a call that the cheque was sent at my address but no one was there to receive. I told her that it’s all a bunch of lies and the concerned persons are trying to save their skin. There upon i was told that it would take another two months for the refund. The matter is almost a year old and money is yet to be received by me. Request authority to pay my dues in a fortnight or else seek redressal through consumer court.

          I have deactivated my all isd type calls in Dec 2017, but idea charging again and again for the charges of call which not done in any way by me or mine mobile number...

            Received a text today from idea that i downloaded some animation from nazara and was charges rs.100 for it.

            Dear customer,
            Thank you for downloading animation from nazara.
            You have been charged rs. 100
            Your balance is rs. 28.84

            I have not made any such download. I was driving the whole morning and did not even surf the internet. Called customer care and they asked to check my download files, and there was no such file or animation from nazara.
            Is this some new tactic by idea to make a quick buck? Deplorable, i will port my number to another carrier if this is how low idea has stooped to.

            I want my money back asap.

            I never asked to use wap service. I have a 1.4gb/day internet pack. How has this wap service been used? As per my understanding it requires customer care to activate this, whereas no authorisation has been made from my side to activate this wap service.

              Hi,

              It was a great mistake to choose idea because idea has worst customer support. There csr are behaving like government employees they don’t have any information and knowledge, they also don’t have any quality parameters.

              I have registered a complaint on 6th march regarding misguided by idea store and idea closed my case without informing me. I called and spoke with csr vishal around 9pm on 14th march but he was unable to answer my query, i told him to transfer my call to an senior and he disconnected my call.

              I called again on 15th march, agent name was mansi i explain all the things very humbly. I felt that she was new in process she took time but she could not understand the case history, i again asked to transfer my call to any senior person. She asked me for hold and after 10 minutes she told that our seniors are busy call us tomorrow in morning so we will easily transfer to senior. I told that i am hold but transfer my call to your senior. She asked me for hold and after that call disconnected.

              I called again and spoke with csr kapil. He was also not capable to provide the solution and he transferred my call to floor supervisor sandeep and mr. Sandeep was also unable to answer my call questions he told that you can write an email. After a long debate once again my call got disconnected.

              I called again and spoke with csr manish he transferred my call to floor supervisor zini, she listened me and registered a complaint regarding call disconnections and asked me that “we have registered your complaint and would be actioned by 22/mar/2018 12:51:15 pm through communication id c[protected]

              Today on 22nd march i got a call from [protected] from mr. Abid on 10:59am and he he was also not aware about the concern. He was talking like he is arguing. He tone was very informal. He was unable to find idea store in his system which is situated at a4 sahini tower, sec 5, sahibabad, ghaziabad - 201005.

              I am very surprised that idea don’t have any record regarding above mentioned address. When mr. Abid felt that he is not capable to resolve the query he told that i am forwarding your case to concern team. When i ask about time, he told that i am unable to tell you the time and after that he disconnected the call.

                I got message from 51998 number. One message charge 3 rupees on my number in 2 time. I am not interested your service. So please deactivate service in my number ([protected]). It is happened two times dtd.30.1.17 (Which was not know to me at that time) and 2nd time it is today i. E. 22.3.2018 for text msg of hindi shayri.

                Otherwise will opt for other service provider

                This happen to my idea number as well. The only thing that I did today is 1) recharged my account 2) swapped the SIM in my mobile from SIM 2 to SMI1 3) I had same deduction on 22 Aug- exactly after 1 month, they are doing it. this seems to from Idea Power Fun Zone which I did not use.

                One of these triggered this change.
                After every monthly recharge, my bal is deducting though I had not activated any service. Sms of deduction comes from 51998. In this month 2 times - dated 18/9/2020 deducted 3 Rs and 24/9/2020 deducted 10Rs. Stop these unnecessary deductions. I had tried many times for customer service but never available.

                  The sim card has not been working inspite of replacement from your retailer. iam unable to understand the reason for the same .the selection of network does not yeild results. there is no registration of sim in other mobile instruments also.

                  it is a porting case i had selected your service due to good service in my district but unfortunately it has put me in problem . the retailer says your sim is active but it is not getting registered at all. help me out or else i will port the number to another provider and also sue you in consumer forum for negligently bad service .

                        IDEA CELL BILL DESK – FRAUD DRAMATICAL CALLS

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        My ICICI Credit Card ( xxxx xxxx xxxx 2005) and SBI Credit Card (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-4227)
                        has been misused by a fraudulent team today between 1:30PM.

                        The numbers of those frauds CALL FROM [[protected]] I have attached the transaction dispute form for your reference. An amount of Rs 21998.00 was deducted from the ICICI & SBI Credit cards.

                        As of now, I have blocked my ICICI & SBI credit card and have registered an online FIR . NO.[protected].Please stop this transaction that happened in the name "IDEA CELL-BILL DESK" on 21/03/2018 for the amount 21998.00 Rs.

                          Your balance is Rs. 0.55"

                          But I have not download anything. Inspite of that they charge Rs.80.00
                          Even I m not aware about "Nazara" till today.

                          I come to know that this "Nazara" is connect with IDEA otherwise No one can deduct the amount from my IDEA mobile balance without my Request/Permission.

                          I talk to IDEA customer care but they told me that my balance can not reverse.

                          I also send the mail to TRAI regarding this matter.

                          But no positive result,

                          please take this matter seriously and take some strong steps against the company because by using this kind of trick they "LOOT" huge money from innocent customer.

                              I ported my aircel network to idea in velachery branch and paid rs.229 as frc on march 2nd. But till now my number is not activated and getting very poor response from the store staffs. I asked my money back. But they are not responding.                                 I call to (1963) toll free customer care number from my idea cellular number . They didn't listen my complaints and disconnect the call for about 3to 5 times today. I call another customer service number ([protected]) and also having same issue of worst response about complaints.. idea network have worst network speed and very poor service.this network is not good for our country...

                                      my name is pankaj vashishta. I have been idea post paid connection user for last 3 years approximately and having 2 numbers ([protected], [protected]). Last february, i have moved to australia on work assignment and i have been paying rs 500 on each number monthly. Suddenly in may 2017, in middle of billing cycle, i started getting message on my other number [protected] that your monthly credit limit of rs 8100/ - (Rs eight thousands one hundred) has exceeded. I immediately called sent mail to customer care to explain this incident. I didn't get satisfactory answer and they always said that we cannot tell you and you would know only after bill generated. I wanted to know if anything was going wrong in middle of billing cycle, i could stop it or correct it, but no one from idea team helped me. I got atleast 10 messages in that billing cycle and i had no clue. That was my first bad experience. Thereafter, i received the bill around rs 9000 and it said i have used 9mb of data for which they have charged me 7552/-. I explained that since i have landed in australia, i have kept my data off and using my india number on wifi only. I would never use internet on india when i have australian number to use internet and wifi at home. I asked for specific details on dates when i used this data. Idea customer care never provided this details. Instead they started sending "immediate payment" emails in bulk. Fort every mail, i started requested to give me details. But they never responded appropriately, just automated response. I have escalated this to regional appellate officer in maharashtra but didn't get any response. Finally, out of desperation, i have escalated to all regional appellate officers in india in all states, but to my extreme surprise, i did not get any response. Later on, i had receiving email for urgent payment. I have even said in email if you give me details of which dates i used internet, i will pay my bills, but they never replied. I also requested an international idea number which i can call and get this sorted. But they always gave me 12345 as a number. This was very hopeless. Idea also had rs 2000 each number deposit since february 2017. Now for last 2 months, to the extreme violation of customer privacy, idea has shared my relative numbers to external people and they are calling my relatives to get my numbers and creating fake stories that they have got parcel for pankaj and need his number urgently. I have called one of those number and lady on the phone said that we are from delhi court and we are lodged the fir against your dues of icms pvt ltd and your case will be handled by a legal advisor and she wanted me to talk to legal adviser. I clearly said i have never done wrong, paid all bills for both numbers for last 3 years, ready to pay this bill as well if they have given me correct explanation and dates about charge; i won't talk to any legal adviser. She rudely said that you case would be taken up by lok adalat now. Since then they are again calling my relatives and falsely pretending to be courier service and wanted to deliver parcel for me. I have all evidences of all emails being sent to customer care, escalation to regional appellate officer and all appellate officers in india across all states. I can produce all if required. After having disappointed and being harassed from all fronts in idea cellular, i am requesting to take action against such agencies and idea cellular.

                                      I have few concerns and unfortunately, even after raising these with customers care, they do not respond to my queries. They always send me a general answers. You are customer care, you must have access to all of my emails. I have sent more than 50 emails in last one year asking specific questions but I have got response to only 10 emails and those are general reply.

                                      I asked below questions on 23rd June 2017 for [protected]

                                      1) when the mobile data has been used? I am pretty sure that my mobile day was off during that month. I asked about date and time when mobile data was used. You never replied that. In fact you haven't replied that question for last 15 days.

                                      2) why it took you 15 days to answer my email. It is itself violation customer service act and SLA(2 days). I sent 2 reminders during last 15 days. Then only I got answer after 15 days.

                                      3) many a times, I have asked about changing plan, switching from Postpaid to prepaid, but didn't get any satisfatory answer.

                                      4) How can I receive your customer care call on my mobile when I am overseas? In fact, I have asked for idea international phone number where I can call and resolve my issue. But you still providing me 12345 without taking into consideration that I am in overseas and can't call that number. This shows your carelessness and pathetic customer care service. Can you think somebody can call 12345 from outside India?

                                      5) please check your records, I have started asking your help even before my bill was generated on 6th June. And again your pathetic customer service didn't get me satisfactory answer.

                                        My name is uday kiran. S. My registered mobile number is [protected], i wasn't using the number for last 5 months due to some issues and didn't pay the bill as well. Surprisingly, today most of my relatives, friends and colleagues have received calls from a lady saying that bill needs to be paid in an hour or else i'll be dragged to the court. And the way she spoke was very rude and she even used vulgar words. I'll pay the bill but this is not the way to ask right? If the company wants to file a case against me i'd be happily attend that.
                                        My point is, how my call log was shared with someone outside of your company? That's my privacy issue. You have no right to call and threaten my friends regarding my bill payment.
                                        I need an answer for this immediately. I'll also approach court and proceed legally.

                                        And that lady has caused huge damage to my reputation. She almost called 25 of my friends and relatives and used vulgar language. I'll clear the bills, but what about my loss? Who gave you the authority to call steal my call data and call my relatives and friends for my bill payment? It would have been better if you had sent me legal notices rather than these calls. I'll drag that lady and your company to the court soon.
