I am facing issue with my idea postpaid number [protected] from saturday 17 march 2018.

On saturday morning, my outgoing and data services were stopped by idea. I called the customer care number they said my previous operator bill is pending and asked me to pay the bill and the services will get resume.
I paid the bill and submitted the payment receipt to the idea store in vishal nagar, pune. They confirmed that the service will get activated within 24 hours.
I waited till sunday afternoon but got no resolution. I called the customer care again and they said to wait.
On monday morning all services were blocked (Including incoming). The number was was official number and i was facing a lot of issues after this.
When i called/mailed the customer care they said to submit the receipt again.
I visited the same idea store again on monday morning they said they have forwarded my concern and the issue will surely get resolved in next 4 hours.

I waited for 4 hours and visited the store but it was not resolved and they repeated the same thing again.

In the evening i visited the store again he asked to to go to the main idea store (In pimple saudaugar) and said they will surely solve this issue but nothing happened they also asked me to wait.

Its's tuesday noon and still my issue is not resolved.

I am facing lot of issues due to this. At the end i would just like to say that idea provides the worst customer care service and i would like to switch my operator after this kind of behaviour.

    I wish to complain about your renukoot (Up) idea office.

    I am complaining because they not activate my idea no. [protected] which is lying there from one month. To resolve this problem i would like you to kindly arrange to active my service as i already talked with them of rs. 179/- (Prepaid).

    I have been customer maximum over 5 years, now i changed same it from postpaid to prepaid, but unfortunately i have to face such problem. For your kind information i was not here due to any of my business problem so they said it will be active again with postpaid service and i do want it again restart now. I have another number of idea postpaid [protected] which is running presently.

    Therefore, i only request to you kindly talk over this with your renukoot branch staff and arrange to active my no. With prepaid service.

      Idea is charging the roaming amount for service not provided at all.

      from 2 months roaming is not working hence I sent email to customer care with issue. they are saying that in my area, there is no range. we have future plan there but now we can't do any thing. also they are not doing roaming charges reverse. in my email I sent then once they do charges reverse I will pay full bill till that time. this month I got bill with 50 rs as late charge. I call them (Mumbai no.) and again launch complaint on the same but not getting proper response on that.

      not sure who can resolve this issues?

      Please stop harassing customers now. my idea no is [protected]. it is not working at all as I am in USA. I tried with activating roaming as well. and I have provided my US no. +1-[protected] also as alternate no. last week of march I got call from idea and here you are saying my no. are not reachable.

      roaming was working before and what happened now after December 2017 it stopped.

      in this case why charge is put on my account? and why I should pay it when there is no service provided at all?

        I ve recharged my sim with 179 rupees pack but my net is not working so i visited the universe communication the idea centre near my mobile world aundh. They didn't solve my problem. The workers were illiterate. When i showed my message that recharge is successful, so he read and was telling anything that this recharge is of 28 days with only 1gb. But in the message it was written that 1gb per day. The worker couldn't understand the sign of per also. Very bad store.

          Hi,
          I have submitted request to change my pstpaid number to prepaid and post paid services are deactivated. The idea store in chennai is now asking me to link my adhaar to the phone number in order to activate the prepaid connection. As i was asking about the recent honourable supreme court of india order, aadhar linkage is not mandatory for the mobile connection, the reply given as i understood is, it is idea's process and they do not care about the honourable supreme court order... L need to know to retain my mobile number i need to link it mandatorily. Request help from the learned individuals on this.

          I am ok with doing a e kyc using aadhar, if that is the criteria, but idea says it cannot be done without linking number and aadhar.

            Hello,

            I am Mohammad Fayyaz, my idea number is [protected] (which is now in PD).
            I have ported my postpaid Vodafone SIM to IDEA couple of months ago by porting number. I went out of INDIA for 30 days on a business trip, and on returning i saw the message of 20 days before, of not paying Vodafone bill of 267 rs.
            when i got back, my number was permanently disconnected (PD). So what is my fault just for 20 days, my 7 year number got disconnected from me.

            I called customer care of Idea, they told to visit local office for activation, but on reaching their, the office says go to Vodafone office., The Vodafone office says its nothing to do with us, go to idea.

            So what is my fault and how do i get back that number. Both of them are not giving me anything in written.

            I have already paid the bill 4 days before in Vodafone. Its my personal number, without it, i may make loss.
            Its my humble request, please do me some favor. Give me some positive feedback.

            please let me know, if you need more clarification.

                Complaint on huge bill amount of idea postpaid connection,

                As i was using the idea postpaid connection since last 1 year, my number was [protected], and all was working well, no due, no complaint, in last 1 years my bill amount was always below rs 1000/-however in feb 2018, they have raised my bill amount to 75000/-, without any intimation to me that your bill has been exceeded at your credit limit, as my phone bill credit limit was 2200/-

                This amount is very very big and unimaginable it is very shocking and if something happen to my mental or physical condition idea will be responsible for that.

                  I had lots of discussion with the Idea customer care for Accessing 4G service in my Redmi Note 4.

                  Previously the person told me you need to upgrade the Sim to 4G and you can access it after that.

                  So, I updated My Sim Card to 4G, but even though I cant access the same, So again I called up the service center and person told me you require the 4G setting and he told me that he will send me and then it will start working. But I never received the settings and then I check online and manually did the setting.

                  But then too I cant access the 4G net.

                  I again call the service center then the person told me that Redmi not 4 dont have the Band 2100 or more on which the Idea 4G works. So I checked the mobile specification and I found that I have the 2300 band and according to customer care executive it should work.

                  So again I try to call the service center and the person told me that it has only 1800 band, even after saying that the phone specification is still open and I can see the Redmi note 4 has 2300 band but he said no your phone only has 1800 band.

                  I'm just fed up with your service and if i not get the response properly than I will doing MNP in other operator like Airtel and yes I have 5 Idea sim been used at my home and all the 5 will be MNP in other operator as all the phone I have at home is redmi.

                    I have been charged for data usage during feb 2018 which was never used. My cell has built-in data tracker application which shows that data that i had used it was within the monthly data limit. I did sent screenshots for the data-usage of jan, feb and mar 2018 to prove data hasn't used. I sent email to applellate office as well as customer care many times but no help so far. Everytime they are closing the system generated ticket without satisfactory reason. Even i asked them to provide details report o[censored]sage to verify, but they are not sending that too. Appreciate your help for closing this matter. To avoid further issues i have paid complete dues.

                    I just got a msg stating my balance is deducted by 100₹ for downloading nazara animation. I dnt even know what is that app and i did not download anything like that and yet my balance got deducted by 100₹. Why is Idea ripping ppl like this?

                        I wish to inform you that 15th feb evening by 4:30 pm i got a call from mobile number [protected], (Introduced himself as roshan sharma) and informed me that i have not redeemed my reward points of hdfc credit card and he may help me to get these points redeemed as cash and credit transferred to my any other credit cards and asked for information of same (Standard chartered credit card).

                        The person calling was so confident and introduced himself as bank executive that he gained my confidence for a while. Unknowingly, i shared information of credit card over phone and parallel i got otp for the transactions he did with my sc card details.

                        As i was over call with him, at same time he asked for otp and i shared otp with him. For first otp, he told its not working and second otp has come to verify, similarily for third and fourth time otp and so on by giving the reason otp coming is not working.

                        The moment disconnected the call, immediately i saw six messages with transaction details.
                        I tried to reach bank personnel to block my card. And i tried to reach ideamoney retail customer care executive who suggested to compain to cyber crime.

                        I followed their suggestions n raised my dispute of transactions. So hereby request you to kindly look into this on priority and provide a resolution in favor of me that i should not be liable to pay the fraud transactions amount.

                          Respected sir i as a customer of idea mobile. I am facing no 3g 4g coverage in home. Due to this i am unable to use the internet what's up imo facilities. I have registered many complaints regarding this issue. But every time idea authorities cheated me very cleverly. Every time when i register a complaint idea replies there was a temporary issue in the nearby tower and we have now cleared it properly. But the problem will never solved. I am still facing the issue severely. If i turned the mode into 2g 3g lte, the data automatically connected in to 2g. Due to this issue i have purchased one 4g handset also. (This is due to the idea authorities forcing) now idea kerala authorities washed their hands. They told me this is the maximum possible coverage in your area. I am cheated cruelly. I have lost my money. I kindly request you sir if possible please help me.

                                  Fraud advertising : don't trust this fraud company. I activated rs.109 unlimited local/std call, few hours i enjoyed this sooo called unlimited call, after that they are saying i have no balance. When i contacted customer care they said "the call is not unlimited you can only use 250 local/std min's, 1 week totally 1000min's". Then they said you must read terms & conditions before buying. Yap my fault i used paytm i clearly saw a check box "t&c apply". And they said this is your fault. Yeah totally, somewhere deep in ideacellular website you can read their t&c. So basically every time you use their unlimited services you must read terms & conditions, for example "if they say unlimited sms their hidden t&c says you can only use 100 sms per day. I'm strongly recommending, if you are considering to use idea service don't waste your time and money, use jio or other services not for free call because their t&c is cristal clear. (And they said 250 min's is huge for a single user, this plan is usually use for commercial uses. Dear idea you can't say what to do or not, i'm paying for it, right.                                     Sir i have recharged with 199rs pack which consists o[censored]nlimtd msgs calls nd 1.4gb per day data. From today morning i have been receiving many messages from many people but i am not able to send messages to only a particular number.. Except that person i'm able to send messages to all others. I ave rebooted my phone switched off and on it but of no use. But my balance is been cut.. I donno y can't i send and receive messages from only that particular number..
