My number which was ported into idea was disconnected because of an outstanding bill with airtel, which i was not able to pay because i was not in india and was not informed about this in advance.

The bills have now been paid but the number is still not working. Can you please help with that?

    I got a sms from a no. I. E. You are winner of 3 lacks or pulsar bike rs., to claim it they want 350 rs recharge in no. [protected].

    Then after send all the details i. E. Bank name, adhar no. And address.

    I confused its a fake sms or not. For trial i recharge 350 rs in given no. And now they want the details.

    Kindly suggest anybody, what we do..?

      Balance deduction of 7 rupees on 14th feb.18 at 12.44 am from my mobile phone no [protected]. I have not downloaded any game but message received from idea that balance deduction for game downloading. This is like a fraud that deduct the balance without any reason and left the message that you have download. Talk to customer care they are not refunding my balance.

      I am not satisfy with your reply, as per your record deduction was done for charged accordingly towards web content download on dated 14/02/2018, but this is not true, its a false statement by idea, because my phone was not in use at 12:44 PM, i was sleeping & in morning i checked my mobile and know about the deduction by idea & seen the message by idea for deduction .

      so please refund the deduct amount.
      its is a big fraud (theft) done by idea, all the time they deduct the balance from cell phone & left he false reason message. i have join idea on 1st feb & face the same issue 2 times in 15 days.

        13th feb 2018, got a call from [protected] [upadhyaksh shanky chaudhary] and she said, she is from police verification team new delhi and police case filed against me and gave a case no as xxx and ask me to contact high court advocate [[protected] ] vikaram rana.
        I contacted him, he said, aditya idea failed a case against you due to non payment of idia post paid bill payment of 700rs. If you pay the bill before 12 pm today so that i will not a register file against you other wise you need come to delhi and pay huge amount on the same.

        I dint pay the amount, again they called at 12.30pm they are shouting at me to pay the bill.

        Describing 1 year old story with idea below,
        As i have a problem with idea post paid, i asked them to move it from post paid to pre-paid or else block the sim but they dint do either of them so i quit the using idea. After almost 1 year they are calling and they are trying to threatening me with legal[fake] calls.

        I recorded the conversation and i am about to file a case on them.

        They are doing business with customers, but they are expecting to pay bill with out giving proper response and service.

        Please suggest on the same.

          Hi. My parents are using idea network. Call from the showroom saying payment of bill is still not yet done and so my mom said we will do it soon as possible. But still the executive used abusive language, taboo and so many words which were arrogant and disgusting to hear. My mom and dad felt very bad for the whole day. They didnt expect such service from a reputed concern. They felt disturbed about the words the executive spoke to my mom. So kindly take action against that indisciplined staff.

          Its been 2days since i updated my existing idea prepaid sim to 4G... But its still not upgraded... The store manager told that it will be upgraded within 24hrs.. How much time will it take more?

            On 12th feb 2018 in the morning at 8:47am when i turned off the flight mode i got the message that an amount of rs. 3 have been deducted from my account. No description of why it has been deducted or for what service just plain and simple that rs. 3 have been deducted from my account.
            At about 9:20am i called customer support @198 to enquire further (As i have heard before that idea unethically charge "x" amount from customer for some dumb non refundable services without any customer information).
            A lady picked up the call and when i told her about the deduction she replied that i have been charged for subscribing idea power service (I had no idea what the hell was that service even do and i still don't) when i said i did not subscribed for any service nor have i sent any message to which she replied that i have selected yes to flash message, after hearing this i was dumbstruck as i did not even used my mobile and how the hell did i get charged when my mobile was in flight mode, after telling this to her she said sir you have been charged last night at 9:47pm on 11th feb 2018.
            I was freaking angry about this whole scenario. I scolded her that i in the world did i get charged when i did not hit for any flash message and i probably has turned on the flight mode at 9:30pm? And if i have not turned on the flight mode why did it take them to send a message of deduction next instantly when i turned off the flight mode, why they didnt send it the last night to which they (Or lady) said i can see that you have agreed to it and then i said and i can see i didnt authenticate for service and i want my money back to which she said that the money cannot be refunded no matter what.
            Hearing this i lost my temper but still tried to control my language i said refund the money back or i am tagging you (Idea) and manoj sinha sir and will tell this whole fiasco.
            Hearing this she immediately ask to transfer call to her senior executive.
            After saying yes and after repeating the whole damn thing to her again she still was admant about not refunding the money.

            I really have no idea what to do about except to take it to the forum or tag manoj sinha sir.
            Please help me,
            Its not about just 3rs. Its about ethic and today they deduct 3rs tomorrow they will deduct 30rs if i wont say anything and god know what they will do if i still wont do anything.

            Do the math, the idea have about 19 crore customer base, if they do this and charged even 1% of they user base, they are getting away with about 57 lakh rupees per day unethically.

            Even after this if i wont get the satisfied solution i am definitely porting to myself jio.

              For the past 15 days, I have been actively getting service from my mobile number without any confirmation, and my account's belance is being deducted. When I talk to customer service empoly by calling 198 in this number, the tab gets to know where my belance is cut off. And they are also told that you have activated this service, while I do not get any confirmed confirmation message about this. When my belance is low then I have to know that my belanes have worked. Now my problem is that when I do not have any information about these services, and I do not want to take advantage of these services, then why are they not returning my money, and all these services are automatic activates How does this happen, I have suffered losses o[censored]p to Rs 500 due to these services. The biggest thing is that I am not able to take advantage of the service, even then I am paying the money for that service. I request you to help me in my withdrawal.

              Exact same thing happened with me.
              Suddenly got a sms -

              Dear Customer,
              thank you for downloading NewArrival_GM from INDIAGAMES.
              You have been charged Rs. 21
              Your balance is Rs. 5.22

              Customer care was rude and said i have downloaded chargeable content. I wasn't doing anything on phone. Yes, Data connection was on at that time, as usual. I am on 1gb/d data ( approx 980 Mb was remaining when i checked after talking to the rude customer care).

              Similar complaints have been coming up in forum recently which points to some fraud taking place.

              Will idea look into the matter.

                I have to port my idea connection to airtel due to network issue, so have visited the airtel store for complete the process of port, but in the process idea mekes the wronge report for airtel and also for me.

                payment issue shows to airtel and user decline shows to me...

                but for the porting i have done the 249rs advanced payment to idea, for stop the porting idea in not on right track.

                idea plz dont do these for everyone.

                  I went to new zealand in the month of september 2017, an amount of essential.2000/- was deposited at your local outlet situated.. Idea cellular co.1st floor rajlaxmi complex rail toly gondia 441614.
                  I came back to india on 24.11.2017
                  And demanded refund of my deposit with you. The local staff refused to refund the money and told me verbally that the deposit is non refundable. This is very unprofessional act and is comes under mis appropriation of funds. Which is a criminal act. On continuous perusal of the matter the local staff of your outlet refused to cooperate and initiate the refund of my deposit with you. Further they did not supply the printed statement details of the adjustment of my deposit with you. This act is ridiculous and needs to be taken up with the legal system if you do not resolve the matter in an educated way within a period of 6 days. Else i will be constrained to take legal criminal action against you

                      Hello,
                      Idea company charge me extra bills in my account on not given no. (Not used by my account). But they say this number is in your account.
                      They calling me every month and told me they will sort out this, but they didn't yet. And every month it start from beginning any apply monthly rentals.
                      And second thing they converted my employee no in prepaid without paying bill amount.

                        Hi. I never subscribed for dindo subscription for my phone number and yet it was activated. I have been unknowingly paying rs 150 for the past few months for a service i did not subscribe for. The operator has brought this information to my notice right now.
                        I want a full refund of the unnecessary amount i have been paying for, whose benefits i haven't enjoyed. Kindly curtail to the same.

                          Idea deducted rs. 99 from my main prepaid balance without any reason. When i called cc they behave me rudely and cant give any logical reason for deduction

                              I have received an email from idea to attend lok adaalat pune for settlement of account of rs. 516. I had disconnected my account three days before the month end for which i had paid full amount. I don't understand how i am liable to pay the amount. Please guide on what i can do. This is highly unprofessional. I don't think i am liable to pay this amount. Can anyone also tell me if there is a clause in idea's agreement to pay 1 month extra bill before terminating the connection? I had even confirmed with their executive that i am getting reminders to pay the amount and they said you can ignore it.

                                  After calling a toll free number[protected], from my idea cellular mobile ([protected]), the account balance is deducted totally and the call got disconnected. Upon inquiring with the idea customer care executive, the first person (Koteswararao) who received my call, couldn't answer why the balance got deducted and responded like he'll transfer the call to his higher executive. And after the call got transferred to his senior (Sheikh akbar), he responded very vaguely and suggested me not to make any calls to the toll free number.

                                  Here, i just wanna know why the network providers are looting people by providing less information??

                                    Automatic balance deduction on my idea number on 8/2/18 by activating vas on its own. The company is saying that i have pressed the *123# keys and activation is done by me. But in real i didn't press any key and not followed any process of vas activation on my number. Idea is making fool of it's customers by forcefully activating its services and deducting balance automatically without customer's willingness. Idea #shameful act.

                                      My broadband account no. is[protected]. I had sent email to terminate my account on 13/7/2016 before generation of new bill for Aug 2016 (generated in advance on 1st Aug), as I was moving to a new place where there is no Idea broadband service.

                                      Renuka from Idea broadband customer service team asked to drop an email 48 prior to disconnection date. I dropped an email on 28/07/2016, as suggested but STILL THE BILL for Aug 2016 WAS GENERATED.

                                      I raised a service request/ complain ticket with iDEA - TCT[protected] immediately on 01/08/2016, which was closed with a resolution that I should not use internet and NOT PAY THE BILL.

                                      Now after 1.5 years they have sent me repeated LOK NYALAYAY notice for non-payment of bill, which should not have been generated in the first place. Attaching all the proof of email conversation. Please help me resolve this ###.

                                        My idea sim was lost and i have blocked the sim through customer care, still my postpaid bill is getting generated for each month. They have collected the bill amount from my home without informing me about the same. Its really frustrating to deal with idea customer care as they are not responding to any queries properly.
                                        Kindly refund my money (Bill amount collected) and stop generating the bill for the same number.
