Dear sir/mam, i have put my mobile number for porting on the date 9th june, 2017. My current mobile network operator company is idea cellular. I wanted to port this number on bharti airtel. The same was to be actioned by 15/06/2017 1:24:43 pm through communication id c1-[protected]. I received at least 6-7 calls regarding the same from idea and told them that i need to port anyhow. But the same did not happen. The process was cancelled and when i called to the customer care number 198 i was told that i had cancelled my request on my own. When i told them that i did not give any such request, i was ignored. This is my 4th time i had given my number for porting within a year and was ignored every single time, reason being the same all the time. I have spent 100 rupees every single time for previous portings and has been harassed by idea every single time with so many calls. Please help me regarding the same and help me get my number ported.

I have ported my number to idea and after the network came on my sim nobody is picking the call up at 59059 and so I am unable to activate my number . Making me regret before I even use their services .

    Hello,

    I have purchase two mobile sim for internet number are [protected] and [protected] on premium rate, as from service provider assured me that you will get 1gb 3g/4g data daily. But when istarted these sim i am unable to get proper 3 g network instead of 4 gnetwork. It always run on edge in my area. After continuos reminder there is no any inprovemnt in my area isdea cellular company is advetising that he has coverage in all are for 4 g network. But i am ot getting the service. There is no proper response to improve situation from idea company side.

      Complaint against customer care executive ms sushma
      Musafa telecom, no 13, 96/11 4th cross, 2nd block hrbr layout, bangalore-560043 not responding to the customer & talking to the customer in very roud
      And negligence. I using the idea service form past 5 years. Since last 2 month i am unable to use the sim for unknown reason. I went to nearest idea out let the the complaining the same the customer care executive said to take the duplicate sim i said ok& take told me to recharge for 100 rupees. I said ok pls do it then dye told me we do not have the facility to recharge here. I asked out let do not have a facility of recharging. Dey said in rude manner we don't have the facility here. Pls do it in out side and cum i will issue the duplicate sim. So i went to nearest shop and did the recharge for 100 and cum back for the duplicate sim. After that they saying we don't. The server is very slow and we cannot do at present pls wait for some time i have waited for more then the 1/2 hour and i asked is it possible to do know. After that also they are saying irresponsible if it is possible we do it. Is this is the way idea customer care works. I am ashamed that i am using this service from more then 5 years.

        I got call from number [protected] (Lady who said she is calling from delhi lok adalat -
        Named priyanka sharma) said that i have not paid due amount of icms - idea cellular - postpaid).
        The reason i did not paid the bill because i raised a request to deactivate my account on dec-2016 and the service ticket number against it is tct[protected] and the service request is closed..
        I never used the idea broadband service from 31-dec-2016 onwards then why i pay the amount which is not charged to me.
        I have called their customer service representative few times to stop my internet connection and send correct bill. They said dont worry sir if you already raised the complain then ignor the email.
        Such telecom companies are making fools to customers by forcing their service and threatening them use legal case so that customers should suffer for their wrong doing.

          There was a call from idea money, stating that they are from icici bank verification team mumbai.

          They told that my credit card have reward points, it would be given as cash to your icici account. They have been asking for card details and when i suspect them, they told that they will transfer the call to senior executive officer. After verifying, they asked for card details & 3 transactions were made from them of about 4992 each.

          I request you to take severe action on them and to avoid such calls in future.

            I downloaded no such content.
            When i read up on this issue, i see there are numerous such complaints about mydala from idea customers. Apparently i'm another victim.
            Request you to resolve this as soon as possible...

              Today i received a notice from idea cellular stating that phn no [protected] in the name of atul kumar minda (I. E my huband) has an overdue amount of rs.1898. However, i have never used idea sim till present. I spoke to customer care and confirmed that my documents were produced at the time of purchase of sim. But those proofs does not have my current residential address then how the verification has been done and issued to a random person. This is completely unprofessional on the part of idea where they activate the sim without getting the verification done and later the notice is raised on the basis of identity proofs. Someone else has used my id and purchased the sim and didnt pay the bill. Why should i be sent notice for that, why should i pay the bill, why should i have to go through all the tortures? I am really disappointed with idea.

                Previously i complained regarding mydala activation without my consent for which i was charged 29 rs. And not even after a week, my balance is further deducted by 125 rs. What the hell is this!!! Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this non-sense. Why are all the crap services getting activated for my number. I didn't ask for any of that. Just provide for what we ask. If this happens i don't think any one would like to continue with your services. Even i am planning to tell my friends and family about not getting idea cellular services. I want my money back

                And i came to know that you are not capable of responding to consumer complaints and so you are just deleting their complaints. I was not able to find my earlier complaint regarding mydala activation. Did not expect this kind of customer service from idea

                Wow!!! Not even an acknowledgement for the complaint!! Didn't expect such worst service from IDEA.
                Meanwhile you guys are still trying to deduct my balance by activating some stupid packs without my permission. Good thing that I didn't recharge my number or else you will cut all my money. Don't Make up this kind of stupid services for money. Seriously fed up with IDEA!!!

                  Hi,

                  I am currently using 2 of the idea numbers from very long time. I was very happy customer till mid last year. Due to some billing & network issue with idea service, i planned to get my both numbers convert from postpaid to prepaid.

                  Since both my numbers are chosen one's and very spl i want the numbers to be with me till end of my life. That is the only reason y i am keeping the number active and want to still be loyal with idea and didnt planned to switch or port the numbers with any other provider.

                  So i believe in month of march or april i visited at one of your idea gallery in malad west near station to change my postpaid connections to prepaid. The reason was i had called your customer care on 22nd dec 2016 from one of my number [protected] and asked them to disconnect the internet plan i also was informed by representative that it is been done.

                  But it was not done and i was getting the bill around 500 to 600 for around 3 to 4 months. I then planned to switch to prepaid connection. So i visited your gallery in malad and there got to know that you people are charging me for internet connection which i shouldn't be charged because i requested for cancellation of internet service or plan.

                  The manager at idea gallery in malad offered some adjustment of 150rs in the bill. But she said she wont be able to make any exceptions for whatever happened in last 3 months. The amount which i paid for the internet plan because i was charged. Even though i had requested for cancellation. Any how they convinced me and changed my plan to 99 monthly rental and no other value added services.

                  On 5th of june 2017 i had visited at one of your idea gallery (Unique telecom) in dahisar east. I inquired about the plan for internet plan for one of my number which is [protected]. The representative (Sujit) informed me about 349 plan where i will get 1gb every day and local/std calling free. He explained me the plan i accepted to switch the plan for which he asked me to get the new 4g sim card from another representative whos name is sheetal. She asked me to sent the 15 digit number which was mentioned on sim card to activate the sim, which i did and she told the network will go on previous sim after which i have to use new sim.

                  I went home changed the sim and got internet connection up on my phone. Later on we received call stating that the internet usage is high on our number. Then we informed that we have internet plan and she disconnected the call. So i called customer care late night on 14th june 2017 where i spoke with nikhil gaikwad and he informed me that new plan of 349 is not activated on my phone number it is still on 99 plan. He told me to visit at the gallery and call from there.

                  Today i visited at the gallery in dahisar east and told them about what happened. So they informed me that i have only asked for 4g sim card upgradation and not for plan. The representative sujit not interacted with me and sheetal was very rude and firm that its not our problem its me who has to bear the amount for the usage of internet connection which is around 721 now unbilled.

                  I then called your customer service and spoke to raj and explained him about the issue. He was also like we can't do anything so i requested him to transfer the call to his manager. He transferred the call to his supervisor name ravindra satpute, he told will investigate and asked for 24 to 48hrs time. Will wait for the reply and accordingly will take next step.

                  On tuesday or wednesday i will also pay the amount if i dont get positive response from you people and get my number port to some other service provide. Then i will not be with idea anymore. Since i will be porting my number to other provider my number will be not in active. So if any of you planning to speak to me then call me on my alternate nunber [protected]

                  Imp: why will a person in this world will just take a 4g sim card and not activate or go for a plan. Specially when he is not having any internet connection plan on his number. Please make me under stand this, i will appreciate if anyone of you can make me understand this :)

                  My fault:
                  Use to never check the bill and directly pay the amount with a faith that there will be no mistake. Which i have learned from idea and will continue this in future in my life.

                  Complaint:
                  1. Internet plan cancellation in dec 2016 for which i was charged for 3 months.
                  2. Now again charged for internet usage and 349 plan was not activated.
                  3. Unique telecom gallery representative sujit & sheetal not supportive, not professional, not taking ownership, rude specially sheetal.

                      Sir / madam,

                      Under instructions from and on behalf of our client above named, we address you as under: -

                      That our client have provided the data/internet/voice services at your (“service”) request after receiving your duly completed customer application form (“caf”).

                      As per the terms contained in the caf, you are liable to pay the various dues, charges as are applicable for availing, retaining and using the said service. As per the terms in the caf, read with the monthly statements issued by our clients for said service, our clients have regularly billed you. Despite our clients repeated requests and reminders from time to time, you have intentionally delayed and defaulted in making the payments.
                      By agreeing and accepting the terms and conditions of service as well as of the caf, you, inter alia, agreed to pay to our clients such dues and charges as detailed in the monthly statement/s of our clients. Further, you continue to remain liable for the late payments and such other charges as have been specified in the monthly statements issued by our client for the amount of such charges and fees not paid in time, up to the date of their payments. We state that a sum of rs. 1974/- is due and recoverable from you as on date.
                      We further state that, you have, despite regular requests and reminders of our clients failed and neglected to comply with the demands of our clients and clear the said dues as required.in fact, not only you have failed to make payments of the dues (Charges and fees) but also the reminders of our clients have elicited no response from you. Our client therefore states that in the circumstances stated herein before, you have become liable to forthwith pay to our clients an aggregate sum of rs. 1974/- along with the interest and charges that accrues till final payment, under the said agreement.
                      Though our client would have been justified in taking criminal proceedings against you directly, in the interest of justice and to give you a fair opportunity, we hereby finally call upon you to carry out and comply with the requisition contained in this notice within 2 days of the date of this notice, failing which our client will have no alternative but to institute appropriate legal proceedings (Civil and criminal) for the offences of cheating, fraud, misappropriation of funds, criminal breach of trust and conspiracy for recovery and strict punishment thereof entirely at your risk as to costs and consequences which please note.

                          I am using new post paid [protected] no. And i was told that sms 3000 free and mobile data free for 3 months and national roaming free. I am being hugely charged.

                          One representative mr. Shikha no. [protected] and asked me to submit inr 1411 and i submitted same online on[protected]

                          On[protected], they have stopped my outgoing and my i have faced hugged business loss due to non-dialing.

                          I am lodging a consumer court complaint too.

                          Pls help!! I have been cheated!!

                              I got a message from 54300 on june 18th 2017 to my cell saying that ndtv good times has activated and amount charged is rs 35/- for 1 week, which actually i have not activated any such service through cell or internet.

                              First message - thank you. We have received your request for service ndtv good times and it is being processed.

                              Second message - your ndtv good times has been activated. Amount charged is rs 35.00 /- for 1 week. Renewal charge is rs 35.[protected]@ 1 week as applicable. To deactivate sms stop to 155223.

                              I am requesting idea that please refund my money as soon as possible.

                                  3. Rs. 5000 debited from pos-ideamoney at 06:02

                                  4. Rs. 2500 debited from pos-iciciprepa at 06:04

                                  5. Rs. 2500 debited from pos-mpesa at 06:05

                                  Sir, total of rs. 19998 debit message received and screenshot of message attached with this mail. Debit details of rs. 5000 not received. For atm block no [protected] not connected, so my atm active till now.

                                    Idea 4g doesn't get that much speed compared to other 4g networks. I want to port out my number to airtel. Idea 4g doesn't get more than 1.5 mb/sec which is worst speed in name of 4g. So if idea is not providing me 15-20mb/sec speed in next 1-2 days i will port out my number.
                                    I also tried to see idea coverage in my region, it is showing full range but doesn't get fast speed.
                                    So, sir please see into it & improve your service in the kattankulathur (Chennai) region.

                                    I use [protected] idea mobile no. I want outgoing call detail for one month
                                    I have applied for sim replacement on 9-6-17 and still, I did not get the sim activated. It usually takes a day for sim activation but the Idea Care in vissannapeta pin 521215 are not responding properly. It has been 5 days already and I am missing very important calls.

                                      Money detected from bank account but we didn't receive any recharge mobile no [protected] with an amount of 346/- please recharge it immediately. We are not satisfied regarding this idea online recharge. You please rectify this problem as soon as possible and recharge immediately it's too urgent for me regarding the unlimited pack. Please kindly check the details and recharge it successfully.

                                        Dear sir,

                                        I have switched to idea from vodafone ([protected]) with same number last ten days back. Porting also completed. Vodafone disconnected the connection since last three days. I am unable to communicate anywhere and getting lot of problem. I have taken one more connection from idea prepaid connection ([protected]) last two week back but till then it is also not activated. I have taken both sim from idea cellular store (No-72, opp indian oil pump, hal old airport road sector - 2 bangalore - 560071.) i raised complain their regarding this but nothing happen till now. First time i switch to idea & regret to say its a very bad experience with idea. Kindly reply with your action.
