Subject: complaint for misguidance and harassment by idea
Request for reactivation of number [protected].
I am using number [protected] since 2006. Originally it was vodafone number
. Then i got the number ported in airtel
. On 25th january i applied for porting of number in idea. I cleared all dues of airtel
upto 07.02.2017. On 10th march my connections were lost. I visited idea service centre on 21.04.2017 they said that my number is permanently disconnected on 20.04.2017 (I. E 1 day before my visit) as a bill of airtel
was due to be paid. I visited airtel
they said that my bill cycle in airtel
was from 8th to 7th of the next month. I was informed that number was ported on 07.02.2017 due to which bill of 1 day was generated which is outstanding and i was never informed about such outstanding amount. It may be noted that i had applied for port on 25th january and same was ported on 8th feb which means it took 15 days while i was informed that number will be get port in 3-4 days only.
Then i paid the outstanding bill of airtel
and idea people informed me that my number will be reactivated if i pay the bill of airtel
. Then i visited idea centre many times on regular basis but they kept on saying that they have sent a mail but did not get any response. They ensured me that my number will be active in a short span. Meanwhile i received a letter dated 03.05.2017 which was dispatched on 16.05.2017 and received by me on 20.05.2017 stating that bill of rs 455.47 of idea is outstanding. It may be noted that i have not received any bill on my mail id although i have registered for electronic billing. It may further be noted that i have visited the idea center many times but they have not informed me about outstanding dues.
After many visits i was informed that as my number was originally from vodafone
so i can get this number from vodafone
only. Then i visited vodafone
center but they informed me that they can give the number only after 90 days of disconnection of number from previous operator. They also informed me that my previous operator can get the number reactivated within 60 days of disconnection.
I again visited idea center then they said they will ask it again and will inform me. Today i. E on 08.06.2017 i again contacted idea and they informed me that they could get the number reactivated in 30 days only. I may be noted that 30 days was lapsed on 19.05.2017 while i am asking for reactivation since 21.04.2017. Now they are again saying that as time is lapsed so they cant help me in getting the number. I asked them that i am asking for reactivation since 21.04.2017 the they said that they did not get any response of mails from their higher office so they couldn't help me at that time and now time has been lapsed.
I am using this number since 2006 and it is registered everywhere. All otps are generated in this number only. I am feeling harassed. Using idea number is my worst experience. You are requested to kindly help me and resolve the matter. I just need the same number as i am using this number since long and i cant afford to loose this number.
