I received sms that idea is providing 3g internetpack for 10 days free on this number. There was no response from my side. But i was surprised to note that rs. 98 charged to my bill for internet pack, when i have neither requested for that nor used the pack.

Despite my request to customer care, visiting local idea office internet service was not discontinued, and charges are being added to my bill.

Finally, i have decided to say good bye to idea...

I completely agree with the gentleman. Idea has gotten into the habbit of taking random decisions for its customers where they could charge them as per their convinience.

Also, their idea stores, which they brag about in their advertisements, are not at all warm or Customer friendly. And then they have the audacity to tell their customers that IDEA has started to update plans for people as per their own convinience.

Porting out, thankyou for nothing Idea.

    My prepaid IDEA no. [protected] (Rajasthan) and I have done a recharge of Rs. 300 on date 18.01.2016 through IDEA's official website. After recharge a receipt was also generated and its transaction ID is ESBJ[protected]. But till date Rs.300 has not been credited in my mobile and also not returned in my Bank a/c.

    Many time I have approached to IDEA's customer care executives (No. 12345) but I have not get any satisfactory response. In this reference e-mail also sent at [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com several times (dated on 18.01.2016, 21.01.2016 & 23.01.2016) and no response received so far.

    Kindly refund my Rs.300/-

      Dear sir on 21 jan 2016 i recharged my mobile no. With 149 rs because i checked my offer on my sim card that is when i recharge 149 i get 1gb 3g validity 28 days. but when i do recharge 149 i got only 450 mb 3g validity 15 days . i called customer care but not get positive responce so please sir help me

        I am your very old customer. I was availing auto payment through credit card. I lost my credit card and got new one. Due to this, my payment was rejected.

        Today I have visited to customer care centre, near Sakar school, New C.G.Road, Chandkheda to get cancel of this service. Mr. Jignesh Shah replied very roughly, left his chair and went for tea. I waited for him. On return, I asked for the procedure to get this facility canceled and also told for his misbehave. He told me to complain any where and did not attend me. I was ready to give documents required by him. He replied "YOU COMPLAIN WHERE EVER YOU LIKE, YOUR WORK WILL NOT BE DONE HERE".Sir, I am a senior citizen. I can not go oftenly for such work. I will be highly obliged if appropriate action will be taken in this regard.

          So request you people not to disturb by calling regarding the payment issue.

            First of all, I didn't receive any reply for my previous complain #Reference Id E1-[protected].
            Now, again you guys wrongly charged for my 3g bill cycle. On 2nd of November, I requested you guys to deactivate my 3g plan but you told me to call on dated 3rd November as your System was not working. Then, I tried to call you on dated 3rd, November 2015, where I requested to change my billing Internet 3g Plan along with Calling Plan but you guys only changed my Calling plan. Then, in the month of December I received more than Rs 6000 Bill which is difficult to make payment. It was your system's fault, I've been your subscriber for last 5 years, I don't want to lose this Idea Connection. I would appreciate if you can look into and provide me Waiver, so I can pay my Bill as soon as Possible. Even, my phone number still barred, I couldn't make any call or receive it. For last 3 months, my number has been barred, I didn't make any call but you guys charged me also for last three month.

                I topped up my phone (which already had 50 MB of data left) with a 1 GB 3G data pack two days ago
                When I had finished checking the news this morning (only took 5 minutes of reading some text) all of my 35 Rs balance was gone along with the 1 GB data that I had only topped up two days ago!

                I called up customer services on the toll free number 198 and explained the situation but the operator Vasimali said "yes that's as it should be, you don't have any data or balance" and didn't make any effort at all to look into the issue or restore the balance

                What is worse is that my wife tried to share 250MB data with me twice before (she had more than 1GB at the time) and both times received an SMS saying "request failed due to insufficient balance" BUT both times 250 MB were deducted from her account! She clearly DID have the balance as Idea took it without passing it on!

                I have literally never seen such blatant robbery from a company anywhere and am utterly astonished that Idea Cellular is still in business

                I'm switching over to Vodafone immediately

                  I had an Idea postpaid number ([protected]), for which I requested to disconnect the services in mid-November. I was informed that my request would be processed in 24 hours. After that, I didn't receive any calls/emails/text from Idea regarding bills etc. I had 2 critical eye surgeries between December 23, 2015 and January 08, 2016 and have been on complete rest for last one month. Since December last week I'm getting calls from Idea that my services were never disconnected and I've unpaid bills worth Rs.600 approx. They insist that to close the services, I have to visit Idea outlet now. And they are giving me a threat that if not followed their advice, a case will be filed against me.
                  These tactics have gone common nowadays, since I've 3-4 friends who encountered similar issues with same/other carriers. Please stop these threats as soon as possible else before Idea Cellular does, I will practice my legal rights against you. I've call recorder in my phone and can furnish recorded conversation with your agents in court. And, please don't force me to shame you on public platforms. THANKS!

                  Absolutely, DISCUSSED and ADDRESSED!! That's what you say in front of world, when your call center reps rotate and route me to 3 different lines of hierarchy, each of them repeating the same THREAT! I'm still not sure if they were 'Customer Service Execs' or 'Cheap Hired Goons'. Idea can stoop so low, for the petty sum of Rs.800? Wow!!. I'll make sure I'll notify at-least eight thousand or more people of your unethical business practices. And I'm going to port my other prepaid Idea number (which I've been using for more than 4 years) and few other Idea connections in my family/extended family too. I really wish I would have seen others' first hand experiences before going through this! I hope you guys get some sense of ethics from your widely renowned 'IIN University'!
                  And by the way, let me point out that on Jan 23 I left my alternate number here. I was blessed with the gracious honor of speaking with your honorable Customer Service execs 3 days later, on 26th, when I called 198. I wonder your overall customer satisfaction number here (16%) is pretty high considering your service standards!

                        Hi, I am very new customer of Idea and so far I feel like I feel like I have been cheated to adopt Idea. And am so angry the way Idea workers cheat their way around their customers.
                        I was Airtel customer for 6 years and one day somewhere last week I got a call from Idea service provider Here is his number [protected]. He had a promising offer and lured me into the trap. He said - Dear Sir, I am speaking from Idea and for you we have an excellent offer if you port your number to Idea, we will give 25p/min call rate for life time on std and local both of the calls. I was surprised and asked are you sure and what about my balance with Airtel at the time of port?.. he said that will be credited to your new Idea sim. Well long story short I bought his devious act and opted to port after asking 4 times just to be sure what he was offering!! He took 130 Rs/- and my id proof. Few days later I realised the scam when I was actually ported to Idea. ...There was no such deal as the guy mentioned and when I called him back he just ignored my calls and even rejected them. For someone who was picking up all calls before port is now just ditching every call. I have same call rates as every Idea customer and even my balance with Airtel was not transferred to Idea. When I tried to call customer care, they just keep telling me my current call rates and says that is the knowledge we can provide... I mean what the hell is that supposed to mean? Hire some liars to do your dirty biddings for you and lure people with false offers and then disconnect the line saying you have been fooled HAHAHA!!! Now I really regret making the decision to join worst service providers who are actually cons. I got call from Airtel before port warning me that they are trying to con you in to a trap please Sir don't choose them and I called him again to ensure what he offering but the damn liar lured me into trap even when that sweet Airtel lady was giving me 35p/min call for lifetime. I am so angry and feel cheated. I hope someone listens to this and stop that guy from doing this to more and more people. Because I am not going to stay with Idea after the things they have done to make me port to Idea. Please stop that guy from staining Idea's image like that. At least someone should take this serious matter into hand as he didn't just cheat me but 1 of my friend and my mother too with same story!!! I am here just to know what kind people Idea recruits, is there any justice? My name is Ashish and my number is [protected]. If someone cares please let me know!

But now its got permanently disconnected on 19 jan 2016. Went to punjabi bagh idea centre, they are saying its not available now.                           I got a call from IDEA's social media team executive on 23rd jan 2016, confirming that i can reactivate my said number as its in 90 days grace period, i reconfirmed with her about the grace period, got the same reply . As per her instructions, i contacted the customer care helpline executive before going to service centre for confirmation. The customer care executive that i can go to any nearest Idea's service centre for activation when told about the received call in the morning . After confirmation, went to vikaspuri service centre, on 25th and 27th jan 2016, got could get any update as prepaid executive was on leave, and other employee only handled postpaid numbers. Today went to uttam nagar service centre, told everything to the executive, she confirmed that she didn't get had any update for the said number and, the number is booked in postpaid and cannot be dispersed, even when the number is in grace period as it was disconnected on 19th jan 2016. As per TRAI and consumer charter on IDEA' s website, it clearly mentions that the number can be retained back by customer in grace period. How can any number be booked within few days of deactivation but neither can be purchased in postpaid as its blocked by some agency.Its a total harassment of customer when TRAI has ordered to be transparent in activation and deactivation to the customer. Just being tortured and harassed for being loyal customer for so long . Wont recommend any to be a part of IDEA family, and port their numbers asap.

All of sudden balance is showing as 0. When I called the customer care to know actually problem or if any thing is automatically activated without my notice, they are saying to call someone else and find out what happened and there is no proper response from them. I want my balance back.

For someone who was picking up all calls before port is now just ditching every call. I have same call rates as every Idea customer and even my balance with Airtel was not transferred to Idea. When I tried to call customer care, they just keep telling me my current call rates and says that is the knowledge we can provide... I mean what the hell is that supposed to mean? Hire some liars to do your dirty biddings for you and lure people with false offers and then disconnect the line saying you have been fooled HAHAHA!!! Now I really regret making the decision to join worst service providers who are actually cons. I got call from Airtel before port warning me that they are trying to con you in to a trap please Sir don't choose them and I called him again to ensure what he offering but the damn liar lured me into trap even when that sweet Airtel lady was giving me 35p/min call for lifetime. I am so angry and feel cheated. I hope someone listens to this and stop that guy from doing this to more and more people. Because I am not going to stay with Idea after the things they have done to make me port to Idea. Please stop that guy from staining Idea's image like that. At least someone should take this serious matter into hand as he didn't just cheat me but 1 of my friend and my mother too with same story!!!                               I was got an sms that attached with this mail .. It declars that offering 1GB inter net package for inly 149 ₹ . So i reacharged with that amount on same day (17.01.2015)..
                              Now i have a complaint that i didnt get that benifit till now and didnt get a proper reasonable reply from idea customer care..

                                I am a customer of IDEA UPW postpaid for last 4 years and have not face any problems till 2015. However, in Dec 2015, i decided to change my postpaid plan.
                                My idea no is [protected].
                                Old Plan : 249 Corporate PLAN
                                New Plan : NO BILL SHOCK - 399_UPW

                                My plan was changed on Dec 2nd 2015. Since then, there have been continuous problems in my monthly bills. The charges for data were billed in my account leading to crossing of credit limit. Although both (old and new) plans had free respective data usage. The services were terminated by IDEA causing inconvenience to me. My un-billed amount was 4092.19.
                                After filing complain with IDEA, services were resumed and solution promised on the condition that i pay some amount to my account.

                                I paid Rs 1600/- as apart of solution provided by IDEA representative.
                                However, to utter shock and disappointment, again my services have been stopped. The current account on IDEA website shows that the charges for data usage are still being billed to my account.
                                This is highly poor on the services part of IDEA.
                                My current un-billed amount is : 3666.02

                                My account has been barred due to wrong un-billed amount from IDEA's side.
                                Kindly provide solution as soon as possible.

                                    I am unable to receive banking transaction messages or OTP's from all banks. IDEA customer care says that other than banking messages are received means it is the fault of banking companies. Banking people are saying that is the fault of mobile company. Is there any solution. I have de-activated DND also. Is there any use if new SIM card is replaced.

                                      Today I went to your Southern Avenue office, south Kolkata to register for a new Idea sim in my name...My photograph showed my face completely...but my shoulders were not visible in my passport size photograph...Your service agent at the office said that my photograph will be rejected... I was carrying a valid Aadhar card...2 xerox copies of the front and back page of my Aadhar card and 2 passprt size photograph...The personell at your Idea office was very rude...and said that my application fer a new sim would be rejected as my shoulder was not visible in the photograph...how ridiculous...my face was clearly visible in my passport size photograph...but he refused to accept it... Some Mr. Arindam Chandra (relationship manager, South Kolkata) said my photograph would be rejected as my shoulders were not showing... I am an existing Airtel user for more than 10 years and I have submitted the same photograph there...without any issues. Tell me ...is the face more important or is the shoulder more important...Why do you unnessarily harass new applicants regarding trivial issues ? Please tell your customer care executives to call me on my existing Airtel number ([protected]) and contact me regarding this matter. I shall look forward to hearing from you regarding my application for a new sim...

                                        we are suffer from idea services, lot off problem in internet connectivity...and lot off problem like as payment problem (we are paid bill in idea galary on time means before due date but idea customer care replied we are bill not paid)
                                        in khamgaon city internet cervices is good not best and in washim city internet service is very very bad. my 3g plan speed less than 2g speed (only 3and 4kb speed)
                                        sir agar aisi service reheti hai to muze idea network chodna honga maine 10 bar on time payment karneke bavjud meri service band ki thi 10 bar unko bill ki scan copy bhejni padi so realy im very sufferd from idea service
