i am an user of idea from last 10 years. in the last month i took booster package of 1 GB on date 06.01.2015 on the advice of customer care executive.it was told that all your utilised data will come under this package . As my billing cycle is 14.12.2014 to 13.01.2015 the bill came huge inflated. On asking clarification the explanation was given as "booster package was considered on prorata basis". on my shock the same was nowhere mentioned on site and the same was not told by customer care executive. hence it is very inappropriate to consider booster package as pro rata basis. as it can be utilised in day or in a month is right for the consumer not the service provider. no where we have read that for 1 GB data you have to use 33mb per day only. Hence kindly consider my grievance for correction of bill.

    I am a loyal Corporate Customer of Idea Maharashtra Network for more than 5 years now. I was using my 2G data plan on two of my Idea numbers for Rs98. All of a sudden Idea charged me Rs 180 for the same plan. When I enquired about the same with customer care, first of all a very rude reply that check your SMS we have already informed you. Then I checked all my SMS and even emails from Idea. Nothing was informed. I called back and raised Billing Dispute. They called me and simply said, the Plan which I registered is now obsolete and now you will be charges Rs. 180. My understanding of the services is if you are expiring any plan, simply remove that plan from my number. How can you cell a costlier plan without my confirmation. I asked the same thing and answer from Idea is we sent the SMS or Email. But still for these service you do not have any confirmation from my side. I am actually planning to go to Consumer Court if those charges are not reverted on my billing.

      I have purchased ‘Idea 3G smart wifi’ on 02/02/2015 of Rs 2250/- with on [protected] from that date my 3G is not working. First of all I went to sector 32 chandigarh Idea Office They asked me to go sector 35 chandigarh office. There I met Mr rajnish, he responded me well and checked my wifi and referred me to Mr Sundeep for My sim replacement. The Way of talking of Mr Sundeep was very rude. Although he changed my sim but when I enquired when will my sim start working and what about bill for not working the idea 3G till date. He asked sim will start working in 4 hours and for billing issues he cannot do anything, you should talk to the technical. How will I know who is your technical, marketing, accounts etc. This behavior of your staff is very disappointing. Moreover my dongle is not get started till writing of this mail. If My bill was issued before when my idea 3g start working and the unprofessional approach from you people. Then I will force to disconnect you 3g wifi and file claim of expenses and refund the money I had paid. Treat this email as a notice to Idea (Aditya Birla Group).

        Hello, I am using idea number [protected]. I am having postpaid plan T1083-Total 425 rental plan. under this, I am entitled to 600 MB data plan. The billing cycle for the bill i m talking about is 04-Jan-15 to 03-Feb-15 I somehow overshooted the data usage somewhere around 14th Jan 2015 much above 600 MB and hence wanted to add 1 GB data plan. The 1 GB data plan charges are Rs 250 only. SINCE I SHIFTED TO DATA PLAN ON 1 GB 15-JAN ONWARDS, I SHOULD BE CHARGED FROM 04-JAN TO 14-JAN ACCORDING TO MY ORIGINAL PLAN AND 15-JAN TO 3-FEB ACCORDING TO 1 GB PLAN. These amounts are charged Rs 1804.85 and Rs 161.29 respectively. HOWEVER, I AM ALSO CHARGED WITH Rs 1585.56 UNDER THE NAME OF "CHARGES ON DATA PACK PRO-RATION" . THIS WAS NOT NOTIFIED TO ME THAT I WILL BE CHARGED SOME SUCH CHARGES ON DATA PLAN CHANGE. NO SMS OR EMAIL OR CALL WAS MADE TO TELL THAT THE PRO RATION CHARGES WILL BE APPLICABLE. HENCE I REQUEST TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER AT THE EARLIEST AND LEVY THE CHARGES FOR PRO RATION. YOU CANNOT FOOL ME LIKE THIS FOR ANY UNDECLARED OR HIDDEN CHARGES. I've already done correspondence for the same with idea customer care under communcation reference number E1-[protected] but didn't receive a positive response hence bringing this to consumer forum.           Sir / Madam, This is my 3rd mail to you & still no response from idea... I booked idea new connection from your web site and i received call from ([protected] / [protected])... and then One person from idea on 29th Jan15 collected Rs.350/- as a deposit and taken my documents for new number ... person gave me idea sim card also & told me that concern people will call me on my existing number & will provide numbers for selection ... But till date nobody called & if i call on given numbers and persons they are not responding ... (Kunal & Sagar - [protected] / [protected] I called Idea customer care also on [protected] they told me in 48 hrs you will receive call but still no response from idea people ... I visited Idea Store also they told me that they cannot help & suggested me to put mail to you... Its not about 350/-Rs. but its about my documents which i have submitted to persons they may misuse it Waiting for reply ...

            Hii this is mahesh as i had done my recharge on 31 jan 2015 with 103 for net pack but suddenly i have deduction from balance i spoke to customer care people they are so harsh in speaking o my heaven then again i had recharged my balance through bank the details are transaction id :-BSMP[protected] Idea No :-[protected] Transaction Date :- 05/02/2015 Mat :-103.00 so im again request u people if this will get deducted then what i should do tell me ? so plz look farward to this msg and help me for the same

              I am to inform you that one juice up service is activated today 4th Feb, 2015 from web for my no. [protected].for this it took 21 Rs.charges per month.After calling to customer care I am not satisfied with his response . As I stated that I haven't used any service or download anything named juiceup services is activated without my knowledge. I request you to not to fool people by activating such services and apply charges in their bill for the service that they have not used So please deactivate and refund my valuable money. Otherwise I have to opt for consumer court to stop such non sense service and cheating the people.I have recently taken new sim from Idea as earlier I was a customer of Airtel.I was not satisfied from the services of Airtel. So I gone for Idea. I hope n believe that you will refund my amount earliest so that I can continue this operator.waiting for your prompt reply ...

                Sir, I have idea number [protected], done recharge of 126 Rs of 1gb data pack but when i am using net balance deducted from my main balance. When i contact to idea customer care they told me that '' it is a ISF(idea smart phone) recharge and not work on any other company phones it works only on idea smart phones''. If they are giving this recharge only for idea smart phones so why this recharge is done on my phone? This recharge must not done on my number if they are knowing that i am not using idea smart phone or if done recharge then must work on my phone. They are saying put your sim in idea phone then this data pack works. They are also saying your set is showing there that it is not a idea phone if there is showing then that means they are cheating me. If my set is showing there then why recharge is done. Customer care is not responding on my problem they are only saying that ''this is a ISF(idea smart phone) recharge and only work on idea smart phone. So, kindly tell them to refund my money as a my main balance or that data pack work on my phone. I am highly thankfull to you.

                    My Name is Abdullah. I am having an idea post paid plan since march 14. My Plan is I-plan-299. In this plan idea is giving 8 pack. In this 8 pack i have activated 5 pack for local voice calling (in one pack they are giving 100 min free), i.e. 500 min free, above 500 min i have to pay 50 paise/min. In rest 3 pack I have activated GPRS for Internet usage, in one pack idea is giving 135MB data free, i.e. 3x135 = 405 MB is free. My problem is that after 135 MB data usage all Internet usage is charging, and accordingly they are giving me the bill. This problem is happening since I have taken the connection. after getting my bill I have to complain at their customer care and i have to tell them that my bill amount is so and so I have to pay this much amount only. They even dont bother to send me the revised bill. The revised amount is also reflected in next month bill. if there is any delay in paying my bills they just barred my outgoing calls and data usage. I humbly request you to kindly do the needfull.

                      Wanted to know and complain against Idea for continuing the billing inspite of barring the connection. I use Idea Netsetter which was barred from 12/12/2014 and hence was not able to use the internet connection. Idea kept the rentel continued till 13/01/2015 inspite of disconnection.

                        I purchased a Sim card for my mother number [protected]. After 3 months of successful usage idea suddenly informs me that documents submitted by me are not as per GOI guidelines. And after this message is they deactivate my Sim card. When I went to submit fresh set of documents at idea showroom. They tell me that your Sim is permanently deactivated and you balance ( Rs 91 and 3G data pack of Rs 179) is also lapsed. This is form of harassment and daylight robbery by Idea cellular. Enclosed herewith is documents which I went to submit which were already submitted before also. Now at least Idea should give my money back

                              I have on 24.01.2015, approached for transfer/ port my mobile no [protected] from Idea cellular to Vodafone, for which the Unique Porting Code was IR299649. I am constrained to say that you have still not transferred the number or being served by Vodafone. My enquiry at your Dugapura Jaipur out let reveal that the matter is under process, whereas, maximum time given by your own outlet as well as vodafone was seven days. I was assured on 30. 01 .2015 by your Durgapura out let hat it would e transfrred on 30th itself or maximum 31.01.2015. But it has not been done till this time, which is nothing but a rank harassment of a genuine customer, who had chosen your service. This is to request that the number be transferred forth with. I was not aware that It wont work in roaming. As it wont work in roaming the company should not accept the recharge.                                     I have purchased Idea 3G modem from Idea world sanjai place agra in Dec. 14 with unlimited plan free for 3 months but unfortunately we have great problem in the service whether speed too slow or internet not received we have complaint in jan. 15 but hardly one week we have received internet with 3G speed. now w.e.f. 2.2.15 no internet have been received either 3G or 2G, and idea dealer mobile world sanajai place agra has not taking interest for resolving my problem even they do not took mobile phone. please do the needful Hariom Kumar, 59, Indra dhanush colony Dayal Bagh, Agra 282005 Mob. no.                                       my name is saharunnisa abdulla shaikh my number is [protected] i am a 6 years old customer of idea cellular but before 2 days my card showing sim regestration failed i contact to idea gallery for this problem he told me that in this problem we have to change this sim into fresh sim i say do and start my number, then he say i have no fresh sim and in govandi or chembure also have no fresh sim u have to go navi mumbai vashi sir this is not right behaver to handale a customer and geving this type answer take action for this types of problem as soon as problem please and regard .

                                        Hi, I am quite concern on this issue as on yesterday, 2nd Feb 2016 around 8:00 to 8:15 PM I got message from the Idea that 23Rs has been deducted from my account. I was amazed because I was working on my laptop. I was not done any call on my phone. After that, I tried to customer care number but it was not coming well. Today 3rd Feb, 2015 I again call on 12345 and contact with customer care they are saying that I have call an ISD number hence money was deducted. I told them it was not so, but they are not taking it seriously. Hence I lodge a complaint on the website. I am attaching my mobile screenshot in which it was showing the call history on mobile. I know it was not a full proof evidence nor I have children who done it mistakenly. I am serious on it and saying accurately. Please let me know how it get resolved as I need my refund back. I have not raise any complain earlier nor I am fraud person. I recharge frequently and quite satisfied with the service. Please let me know what are the next step to resolve it.
