Idea will send flash messages simply and they will not give description, they sent flash message like you have free Internet, for more information click dial below number, later they have activated sms pack, even before activating they did not ask any confirmation, they will tell same word active active, they will not ask any confirmation simply they will deduct huge amount suddenly, they deducted my 19 rs in the mid night and if I contact customer care intially they will tell we will refund, they will transfer, then at the final they say we can not refund, Idea deducted my money, sucked my time, energy, idea holes, government of india, consumer court should take action against this.

    I tried to recharge for Rs 38 pack, and got an error message stating - there was an error processing the request. So tried once more and it was a success. After 1 hour, I received a two messages of doubly billed at an interval of 2 mins. I asked for a refund, but a rude customer and a rude supervisor stated that it cannot be refunded by any means. Supervisor name: Sankan Gouda My concern is - Am I supposed to pay double because it was a technical error from their servers to process my request. If yes, then IDEA sucks.

        I was using 3G Internet on my mobile from several months hassle free. But suddenly 3G network vanished and I am not able to use 3G services as 3G network not found. I have a 3G plan but I am forced to use only 2G Internet. I have called customer care so many times but every time they say some manual settings which is not at all working for my problem.

              I am using Idea post paid Corporate plan. In last month(Dec 2014) I have changed plan to 299 Monthly plan where I am getting 750MB 3G Data and then I am getting unlimited 2G data at 64KBPS speed (Actual speed is only 5kbps). But after cycle change on(12th Jan 15) within 3 days i got message saying that your full speed quota is over and speed reduced to 64 kbps then i have checked data usage using *121*44# and I am shocked it is showing that i have used only 163MB!!! Then i lodged complaint 8 to 9 times (through Idea Customer Care) also I followed up many times but same has not been solved. They (Idea executives) are saying you have used 3G and you can check in after postpaid bill generates. But i am unnecessarily suffered because of this cheater company, i am paying for 3G and getting worst than 2G speed, Idea cheating with people. If you have a little shame then give me resolution let me know. or i will have to fill a case in consumer court and will have to put a blog on consumer forum available online. i will see to it that none one else is cheated joining idea cellular.                     Dear Sir, Regular deduction of renewal charges of VAS Video Vogue, Juice Up & Games Club. I didn't activated these services, but from last 3~4 months it is being deducted from my recharge amount. I've already tried to deactivate these services by sending SMS's but gone in vein. I think it is regular gambling practice of IDEA to harass their Customers. So I want you to please look in to the matter & arrange to REFUND my deducted amount ASAP.

                      Hi All, My Idea Number: [protected] Preferred communication through email if required: [protected]@gmail.com I called up idea customer service on 19th Jan i was facing issue related to DND i placed a request for DND on 14th of october 2014 still it shows as p"processing" as the damn website never takes any kind of request! when i called up customer service i informed that i placed a request online but dnd is not activated so could you please help? the customer service replied that the request has not taken place so he placed once again.. well and good the issue got resolved! now when i informed the customer service agent i have the reference id of the previous request why it was not done could you please check.. he smartly answered we cannot check it..so i asked who will check it then some other provider? no after 2-3 arguments he said ok give me the reference id no. i gave with few seconds he informed that the previous request failed and showed an error..now the story starts here... i said i am damn in front of the computer and i called you guys up to as the status shows as processing that is the reason..now you lieing me that it is error..now the agent replied as sir then might be the status became processing now as i did it.. i was like is he damn customer service agent or a rickshaw wala? m trying to explain him that i called up as the status is showing as processing.. so he is lease interested in giving the proper information of previous request and just like that gave a damn answer of his own choice and fell in trouble. mahn if customer service agents are really not interested in answering issues of customers please ask them to leave there job. and we customers dun need to speak to frsutrated agents who is least bothered to answer customers query. highly dissapointed with the damn customer service of idea. pathetic agents are working there.

                      It is perfectly fine.
                      It is actually appreciated that the issue was investigated and feedback was shared with me.
                      Please educated agents to treat every customer the way they want to be treated.
                      And it is not in the nature of any customer to complain against any employee until and unless they trigger any anger.
                      The agent whom I spoke was really good in answering the product knowledge and a good guy.

                        My idea cellular no. is [protected] and I have made 2 recharges on 18 January 2015 around 12:30 for 1GB(2G) Internet (rp175) and 50 rp talktime now as on today the net bal is over and not only that same is happened to the talktime . just for d emergncy use i recharged my cell again for 55rs TT in which i gt 45rp and 200MB(3G) net for 49rp now it is showing d same thing after few minutes no net balance and only 4rp TT is left in the account. i demand serious explanation for this and whole some TT what i get in RC of 50 and RC of 55 including the net 1GB(2G) and 200MB(3G) for which i have paid

                          This issue has become significant from Dec'14. I'm from Pune & I'm using Idea Network from quite long period of time. Idea is known as best service provider in terms of services & coverage. But from last 1 month their services have been impacted badly not sure why? 3G service is worst than the worst service providers of India.

                          I understand the fact that hardly 1% of tele density uses 3G network however Indian Service Providers are not being able to good data services. We understand their loss in terms of less usage of messaging & voice services due to increased use of data services. But as per TRAI Regulatory body it should be win-win situation at Service Provider as well as Consumer end.

                          I hope that Idea Cellular is aware of this ongoing issue & they will fix this problem soon. Idea Cellular was best service provider of India & it'll be the same.

                            I am Niteen Patil was using idea cellular post paid sim ([protected]) in Pune (Maharashtra). My bill was generated for Jun month is 3150. I wrote/ called many times to customer care & idea support team about justification. Why they have not restricted my bill at Rs. 1800 which is my maximum limitation/ cap for bill? How they allow to exceed upto 3150? After bill generation immediately they stopped my services (dataplan & out going) before bill due date. Then what is meaning of due date?? After that they repetitively calling me and sending mail to pay this amount. I told them without your satisfactory justification I wont pay bill else reduce it to 1800 then I will pay the same. Now some body saying Police from Delhi calling me any intimating about police action & some advocate from Delhi intimating about leagle court action. I am totally helpless. Please do help me.

                                  I have taken idea postpaid connection. Paid bill for 2 months without any hurdles for the plan taken. In the month of October 2014 I have purchased Moto G2 and inserted the idea postpaid sim : [protected]. When I started the phone, used the Beam internet thru wifi, I got the message that idea 3g plan activated by default. I called the customer care on the same time and asked to deactivate all the idea internet services as I will use only internet on my phone thru beam wifi. The person from customer care gave me no to deactivate and told that no charges are going to apply to this no. I have sent message and deactivated and got message that it got deactivated and confirmed this with customer care too. Later on I got the bill which has internet balance. When I asked them about the same, they are so irresponsible that they said it was charged for using internet. I called them many times and escalated the issue, no one responded properly and I clearly told them that please listen to the call I have done . Later after trying continuously 2 months and asking for call back from the team, I got a call from idea backend team and explained them the situation he said he will waive the amount but on one condition that I should take there idea internet services around 500. I said no, I do not require any of your idea internet services, he said it is mandate to take this service in order to waive the bill amount charged on idea, so that he can send e-mail to his higher authorities stating that I already have plan but was charged so to waive the fee, which I said it is wrong to take that service when I am fighting here against wrong bill sent against internet usage after deactivation of services too. They said it is not possible without that. I said no and asked them to check and let me know. Now, I got a call saying that case has filed against the number and need to pay the amount immediately. I am so unhappy with the idea cellular that they are so irresponsible and asking user to take wrong steps for there mistakes done. I want to log a complaint against the idea cellular for harassing me and threaten me to pay the amount. Regards, Shoba

                                        Hello, I am hereby submitting STRONG complaint for having the bill with additional charges of SMS MT for which I disagree and looks fraudulent. I was a Pre-paid customer and thought to have a Postpaid connection with corporate policy of 99Rs per month, so shifted from Pre to Postpaid connection. Since stared the postpaid connection ( last 3 bills or 3 months ), I am getting the bills with additional SMS –MT charges which is literally fraudulent. Despite of these deduction there is no new game or any power service observed in mobile. This is fraud happening it seems as by mistake also we click to download the game or any power tools service (SMS MT charges), the same thing should be accepted by Customer/me in this case by providing credit/debit details. IDEA service is blindly accepting these things on behalf of Customer and then in bill they are adding to get the amount from Customer which is fraud or illegal. Point is – IDEA is deducting the amount from customer pocket without knowing the customer which is irrelevant and wrong idea. You have credit policy to increase the credit, but I would like to have a zero (0 rupees) credit policy. If want to purchase a game then we can very well give the details of CC/Debit card and purchase it online. Online shopping also always asks for bank credential then only the transaction happens. I request you to deduct by SMS MT charges from my bills and also would appreciate if you can give the ways to BLOCK SMS MT charges in mobile. Please take the request seriously and revert with your comments. Mobile No.: [protected] Request you to STOP this SMS MT service or let me know how to STOP this services.                                         Idea Customer Care persons are giving different reasons and no firm reason on how to stop the service. Till now I have received following reason but still the problem exists.
                                        1) Your power tools are active and clicking on any service will charge -- Power tools and SIM tool kit vaulted(locked) after 1st bill, still the charges of SMS MT got levied in subsequent months.
                                        2) Personally visited Bhandharkar office, Pune to resolve the query but said that the problem is due to WAP links which on click the subscription charges will be levied. Not exact answer. Still paid the SMS MT charges and thought to lock all application and removed all games.
                                        3) Again after 3rd bill it showed SMS MT charges and call 198 and emailed couple of times regarding this problem but still NO solution.
                                        On call, executive told that these charges comes under VAS but I have NOT activated any VAS service since my connection. Told to send SMS 'Stop' to 155223. Reply came from idea that there are no VAS service activated.
                                        4) Now, I have stopped the net connection in last bill itself, STILL looks like these SMS MT charges are getting levied. Really feeling ridiculous and frustrated. If now the bill comes (feb 06, 2015) with SMS MT charges then surely i will not be paying anymore as i have suffered a LOT and need a resolvement from IDEA people as soon as possible.

                                        Please help and do NOT reply to contact customer care as there is no hope left from these people. You can listen to voice recording of my number (98fivezerotwo85672 which i own) with different executive people and observe the service your people had given.

                                        I am NOT going to pay any more SMS MT charges and request to revoked my earlier paid SMS MT charges. Please do the need full and consider this as a sincere request to help me out.

                                        Facing similar issues with idea, charged with fraudulent sms charges. Customer care reps have zero knowledge and refuse to accept that there are issues with their system.
