Dear sir, In my Idea E-bill of August 2014, there is shown Rs. 155 for R- Pack Activation on 7 Aug 2014. I have checked my Account Profile that this services Processed by Communication Id C1-[protected]. How this is possible without sending any sms or email to idea company. I am already using my BSNL Broadband Services from year 2006 and I not want any GPRS Services from idea. For this I have done some email to customer care of idea and behalf on my email they have send this below email to me - Dear Customer, Thank you for writing to us. We acknowledge the receipt of your email and we will respond to you within 48 hours. Kindly Note the 1. Email Reference Id E1-[protected] for your reference on 3 Sep 2014. 2. Email Reference Id E1-[protected] for your reference on 10 Sep 2014. 3. Email Reference Id E1-[protected] for your reference on 10 Sep 2014. 4. Email Reference Id E1-[protected] for your reference on 16 Sep 2014. But until that 2 GPRS Services charges is not less from my bill and nobody contact or call to me from this company. After that I have paid all amount of Rs. 303 on due date 16 Sep 2014. But I request to you, that please adjust (Reduce of 2 GPRS Services Charges amount + Services Tax) that amount in my next month bill of Sep 2014. Thanks From SUNDER PAL SINGH TANWAR KOTA (RAJ.)     I am convert my prepaid idea connection [protected] to post paid. The person has told me the wrong plan. Then I have given him 300/- and my document to activate the sim. Now they are saying that your sim is activated with in two days now after one week my no is not active.and no call from ther side. I am using idea from near about 5 years. please help me my no is [protected] sushil singh.

      dear sir this complaint against lakshmi departmental store, located in ittina neela apartment shoping complex in hoskur gate the full address of this campus is( ittina neela apartment anakel taluk andhapura village hoskur gate land mark near gold coin club pin code 560100) sir this shopkeeper is not having billing machine and make fraud during billing time and also add more money in all grossery items such as milk vegitables etc people are literly suffering from this guy by doing this he make more money ...and also the way of talking of this guy is very rough. sir please do the needful action againest this guy

      i use idea postpaid connection [protected] last one year, many times company add extra amount in unbilled charges ..with my use I give many request for rerating bill..but no action taken by company. last month company give me bill of 16000 but my uses are only 8000..i request for rerating because 8000 are extra added in my billing..but company tell me pay all amount .after payment successful we take your request ..I want action against this idea company plz help me

        Pathetic customer service! I switched to IDea from Airtel (which I had for the last 8 years) believing that it would be a wise decision. I was wrong. The customer service sucks.I was facing issues with 3G. I called Idea and thay asked me to rest network settings eight times over a period of 2 days but issue was not resolved. I had to go to the Idea showroom on Monday and the sales person told me that I have used 1.5 GB so they have de-activated the service. What nonsense. I switched to Idea because I wanted 3G but I am not getting service. To add to the frustration, they just de-activated my outgoing calls too! Reason - I have crossed credit limit of 500 by just Rs.21. What a JOKE!! Airtel gave me a credit limit of Rs 8000 and never disconnected my services. This is cheap marketing. Just by having Abhishek Bacchan saying what an IDea sir ji just not make sense.

        I want someone from the corporate office to call me. I am going to take this up with the consumer court. [protected]

        You have wasted my time and I ahve suffered huge loss in my online business. I need compensation else I am going to sue Idea. Please do not think I do not have contacts. Please look up the internet. I am a relative of the SBI chief - Arundhati Bhattacharya and will use her contacts to escalate the matter to the highest authoroties.

        How can Idea stop service of someone who owns 3 iphones, 2 ipads. Do you think I cannot afford to pay Rs. 500. On the first day I told Kapil Sharma (idea cellular sales agent - Phase 10 Mohali) that I am a heavy user and most of my calls are STD calls. Then, why did he not tell me about all this. Your aim is just to sell connection and let customers go through all these pains. I am FURIOUS and want to slap you guys hard. I wish I could do that.

        It has not been resolved. I suffered loss in my business. Who is going to compensate me for that? I am still keeping this case open. I am going to write to district consumer disputes redressal forum and take it up with them. You did not resolve the problem. I did by paying 300 advance. Rs 500 is no credit limit. You should see the history of a customer when switching them over to your network!

        I received call from the Idea showroom at Phase 10 Mohali. They asked me to send the Airtel Bill which shows a credit limit of 8000. Now, the problem is, that I have the pdf file (Old airtel bill) but it needs a password. Since I have switched networks, I am unable to send a message to 121 to get a password. How am I supposed to prove that I had the credit limit I mentioned earlier. Are you thinking that I am lying. Why don't you call airtel and verify the info. My number was [protected] (airtel).

        Recently, my Bill was genrated and the amount I had to pay was 1287!! I thought Idea would be cheaper but No. that's not true. Idea is cheating customers. The Bill you sent me is confusion. No one is able to understand what's written in that email. You guys have made it so complicated!

        I HATE Idea and an waiting for the 90 days to pass. I'll switch over to Airtel. Their customer service is far better than yours. Your customer service reps don;t know anything. They don;t look into the system and keep asking for same info over and over again. What's the point of having a CRM software when you have to ask everything time and again. Moreover, they keep saying system is down for maintenance. My foot..

        Just 5 days back you disconneted my service again. I called Idea care and told them that I have already registered with corporates but they dint care a about you guys and my complaints. They were rude and asked me to pay the entire amount if I want my outgoing calls unbarred.

        Pathetic.
        I totally agree! I got this sim on the advice of the seller. Here is my story.
        I have idea cell prepaid number[protected] since September 2014 in Delhi NCR
        I got a message on Dec 16: "Dear customer the validity of your
        connection is expired on[protected]. ..." I visited My Idea showroom in south Delhi; they said there is no problem with this number, you must have got a wrong message. After 3 days my network stopped working. I visited the My Idea showroom again, this time my number got activated in half an hour.

        Again on Jan 2, I got a similar message of expiry on[protected] when I was travelling. On my return, the sim was declared invalid. I visited My Idea show room 3 times, but the number is still invalid. I called My Idea customer service and they told me that this number can not be activated! Never thought that Idea took care of its customers like that. I still had balance on this around 160 Rs. and they want me to take a new sim. What a farce! Why would one take another sim after such treatment. Sincerely, @YogenCh

          Hi, I Santosh Khandekar have applied for Internet connection in Idea cellular at Navi Sangvi, Pune on 08/09/2014. First Idea Sales person Amol Joshi said connection can be done, so I paid him 4000/- in advance[Serial no-[protected]] . However the Idea Engineer sad He can't install connection as there is no enough signal strength. So I cancelled connection on that only. At the time of cancellation, Idea sales person Amol Joshi [[protected]] said Ill get my money back within 8-10 days. Now its been more than a month, I don't have Internet connection nor my money back. Attached is the reciept of payment provided by Amol. Could you please help me to get my money back.             When I have start Internet connection in roming area then nothing to response.I have activate plan of Rs28 on dated 09/09/2014, my idea mobile no.[protected].Your customer care said check roming option ON, use another mobile to connect Internet or switch OFF mobile phone then start. I have tried all option but nothing to start.I also try in computer then some error code= 734 comes.Please help me, my alternate mobile no.[protected].

              ask to ur idea store at pune (gargi advt., store at satara rd., store at B T Kawade rd.) but sim card is not available. even at gallery chase 2-3 days but no proper response & reply to go main office at pune. (not possible, as nearby sufficient stores are available) pl. do the needful or myself decide to port out or stop the connection.

                My mobile is no [protected] and I am a corporate customer (SIEMENS) of Idea network . I made a request to Idea customer care on 23rd May for activating my International roaming from 2nd June to 10th June-14 as I was leaving for Thailand on 3rd. I was not been apprised about the high international calling/air rates at that time and one showing on your site are not what I have been (though i supposed same to be applicable).

                I received my e-bill on 3rd July for an amount INR 31, 902/-. I was surprised and shocked, i checked for the airtime and found that charges were generated even during the time when my phone was out-of-service. Moreover, I checked for Charging rates and I was surprised to see that INR 115/min for outgoing and INR 50/min for incoming were charged (exorbitant charge rate in today's throat-cutting competition).

                Please be informed that I did not get proper signal all of the days during my 06 days stay, my phone was out-of-services for almost 04 days. I was continuously making calls to Idea Customer care in India (through a local number) about no-service and they always apologized stating server down problem and blaa blaa blaa...

                After i complained to these idea customer people sitting in my office compound, they just re-rated my bill and presented me with a revised bill of INR 14, 000/-. This is still not justified. Charge rates are still very high even after this and far more than what supposed to be as in today's market. Moreover, in hindsight, had I been informed of such high rates, either i would not have asked for IR or i would have used other source of communication. Even, if i had been told about above supposedly re-rating plan, in that too, i would have said no to opt it (as charges still be very high).

                Now, it is almost 2 months past and I am getting regular calls for paying above outstanding and i am keep saying the same thing that amount is still not justified and i can not pay that much. Why should a un-informed/ill-informed customer be penalised for ?

                I request you to please look into the matter and sort it in a amicable way.

                I would like to bring into the light few important points as enlisted here:


                1. Services on my above number were barred/blocked without any prior intimation (thro Call/sms/mail) to me. Please be informed that above was for my offcial purpose number and I was using it for last 07 years (MNP from Vodafone to Idea). My all clients and suppliers have above number. Therefore, it has rendered me a huge loss on this front which i cannot even describe in monetary terms.


                2. I was even not informed about my huge outstanding till it crossed INR 27, 000 and that too when I called up the executive and asked why my number is not working. Only, then I was told that my outstanding has reached that high and therefore my services on this number have been barred. Why i was not informed (thro call/sms/mail)


                I am not able to decipher the complete episode. First, you keep customer in complete oblivion for everything untill it becomes a pandora box and then you open this box to customer to loosen him up.

                As my issue has still not been resolved and as I am going through a mental repercussions therefore I am left with no option but to go to Consumer court. My 'Right to Information (to be Informed)', 'Right to be Heard (to representation)' and 'Right to (seek) Redressal'

                I would like to know that whether above issue has been settled ?

                I am continuously getting phone calls from some IDEA office stating that approval for Rs. 5, 000 settlement is obtained against my case. But, when I ask them to first give me a confirmation in written or thro mail, she says that confirmation will be given only after deposit of 5000 amount.


                Is this the genuine call from Idea for Settlement or is just a fake/prank/dubious call ?


                If genuinely case is being settled then please let me know. But, in that case too, I would like to have an advance confirmation before.
                I am regularly getting calls for paying an amount of Rs. 5000 from some IDEA office but when i ask her to first give me some sort of confirmation, she denies by saying that confirmation would be provided only after deposit of above amount.


                Is it a genuine call from IDEA team or a dubious call ?
                No breakthrough yet...
                I am regularly getting calls from one of IDEA customer care office and asking me to deposit a lumpsum settled amount of INR 5, 000 against above issue. However, when I ask them to first give me a confirmation of it thro mail, they refuse it and say that the confirmation will be provided only after depositing the above amount.


                I do not understand whether it is a genuine call from IDEA or some intermediating agents are doing prank to make some commission ?


                Please let me know whether above issue has really been settled ?

                I am getting no relief and settlement instead I am now Getting threatening and harrassment calls from this IDEA recovery team and they now have started abusing me. It is totally un-acceptable and un-expected on part of Idea.
                Idea people are now pretending to be Aadhar or some other department person and calling my near and dear ones and started harassing them. What is all this nonsense. And When I call them back on same number, they do not reply clearly. Please stop all this.Dinesh[protected]

                  i am using idea number [protected] from last 8 years, suddenly my shim was blocked. as per customer care says the shim is issued for another person how its happen I can't expect. as per Idea executive FARVIN madam from Hyderabad office. I purchased new shim[protected] 52889) for re start the services. one week over but there is no response from idea side to start the services. please do needful as early as possible.

                    i am using idea shim from last 8 years, no is [protected]. Suddenly shim was blocked. as per idea customer service says this shim is issued for another person. Shim was blocked due to failure of documents submission. I submit several times in last 8 years. Up dating is not in my hand. this work is completely in your hand only. Already I gave a complaint in this forum & receive response from Idea Executive FARVIN madam. I am so happy for her response. As per her advise I submit all proofs again & purchase a new shim from Idea office at DWARAKANAGAR, VIZAG. The shim no is[protected]. After one week also the shim is not activated. Why its happen I don't expect. Idea services is below poor level?? Or Idea executives not doing their responsible works. I try to FARVIN madam from last one week. some one lift the phone & says wrong number. how its possible?? i call her on that number only. I am not wishing to continue with IDEA, because this is not a small issue. I have another idea shim using from last 10 years. In my family all members are using Idea services from last 10 years. I advise to all to stop the idea services and convert to other services. Please take action for this issue. MY mobile number is [protected]. Please respond immediately.

                      hi this Ajay from Ludhiana my idea postpaid no is [protected] & iam using idea postpain service from long time but now the time, iam facing lot of harrashment from idea services, if you see in current case i recieved billing charge of month AUGEST 1800/- bill amount & i already paid 600/- earlier but now they charged me 1303/- for sms charge & internet & calling charge additional, i accept internet charge & calling charge which Mandatory but i did not send any sms in mont of AUGEST except 2 or 3 times sms charge to other no, but if you see they showing me bill in which i sent the lot of sms till 30th AUGEST on [protected] which already my another idea no, so how i can send the sms to my another idea no which already with me its a joke, i don, t know how its possible, Also note my idea another no is not working form 11th AUGEST. so pls hummbly request to you pls deduct my sms cost which i did not send last mont AUGEST. for regarding this issue i spoke to idea care center in chema chowk they told me you have to pay we don, t you sent the sms they have a record but i don, t have any dacument to proove my self that iam right.                           request for 98 2G data plan for internet in Aug'14 with your customer
                          care. "He replied that "Your GPRS pack will be activated in 24 hours". I
                          received 174 Rs data charges for the months. I have send an Email your
                          Customer care due to such an issue. & again go to Idea Billing
                          center in order to activate GPRS pack. He replied you have Corporate
                          Connection that's why I can't activate such a special plan on your
                          mobile. I show my ID & other doc. your 3 retails store. 1-
                          Indrapuram (Shipra Suncity) 2- Sec-63, Noida. 3- Vaishali, Sec -4. but
                          no body activate GPRS pack. Then I called to 12345 & activate
                          request as well send an E-mail also. Your customer care promise me your
                          pack will be activated in 24 hrs. after 4 days my outgoing call blocked
                          due to few KB data use. I received a call that regading bill payment.I
                          called your customer care regarding activation outgoing as well
                          complain about above. He promise me that " Once you pay minimum amount
                          1050 due to activation any services as well your amount will be
                          settlement in next months". I'm
                          really suffering with Aditya birla (Idea Group). I'm also sending this
                          complain to legal department & not pay any signal pany. I have also

                            Below mention is my Issue 1) without any intimation you have upgraded my billing plan from Total-425 to 450. 2) As I have not given any request for bill plan change, You have automatic generate bill plan change request behalf of me without my confirmation. 3) IT is showing in my recently generated bill, Due to plan upgrade from - My 600 MB free 3G pack was not applicable between 14th Aug'14 to 19th Aug'14. For that you have charge me 229.92 Rps which is baseless as I have not given any request for plan upgrade. 4) There is very poor response from you customer care executive as they don't understand what customer asking and also they have refused to provide me a email ID of nodal office (according to TRAI rules customer can have information about Nodal office of service provider if required) As Idea have change my billing plan, my 600 MB free 3G pack was not applicable between 14th Aug'14 to 19th Aug'14. Due to that billing team have charge me 229.92 Rps which is totally improper as nobody from Idea have intimate me that during this time my free pack is not applicable. Also in data notification usage was never exceed 596 MB (In notification when I turn off my data connection) I want refund for 229.92 Rps which you charge me without any reason as I have obtain 600MB 3G pack for month.                               I am Nethaji. I have been using two idea post paid numbers [protected] and [protected] for the past one year. I wanted to terminate my connections as I am going out of the state. I had requested for the same before 10 days and paid my dues. But it took around 10 days to raise my request by the idea customer care people in pondicherry for termination. I have struggled a lot during these 10 days since I have not got the confirmation even after paying the dues. They people in the idea showroom pondicherry even stopped attending my call. Since I came out of the town, I had to request many friends to go directly and enquire about the matter for 5 days. After such a struggle, my termination process was started only before two days. Again yesterday, a person from retention team called me and told that i can change the sim from postpaid to prepaid just by giving one of my id proof and photo. When yesterday my friend went with the id proof and photo, they ased him to come afterwards. When he went later, the spoke to me and told that they will call me today morning at 11 o clock and will tell me about the details. I asked for their number since I predicted that they will not call me. As i predicted, they did not call me yet, and if i call to that number, they are not attending the call.                                 I wasraised portability request & IDEA representative call me for retain mynumber, And seeoffer me one New Plan and see told me my existing Internet plan will be thesame and just Voice plan get converted, but aftertwo to three days my voice plan is get converted but Internet plan was stoppedby idea. I raisedthe same thing with Idea Customer care also but no positive response from hissite. I just wantmy old plan will be continue for Voice also & Internet also. Pls helpme on the same.

                                    Hi, I have two number of Idea in CUG Plan with credit limit of 1000. Now when we are calling to each other the charges are added in unbilled amount. Also [protected] is mostly on roaming and i have activated Rs 75 Free Incoming in Roaming on Idea Network, still the incoming charges are added in unbilled amount. Last month when the bill was generated it waived of all the CUG call charges and incoming charges which were added in unbilled amount and bill was of correct amount. Now the problem is that as eveything is added in unbilled amount, my unbilled amount reaches the credit limit within 7 days and after that my number gets disconnected. Kindly rectify the unbilled amount calculation or increase the credit limit so that number does not get disconnected. Thanks.

                                    As the issue is not resolved i paid deposit of Rs. 1400 so that my numbers don't get disconnected.
                                    Even after paying amount in advance they have not increased my credit limit. And also the way unbilled amount is calculated is wrong.
                                    At first place paying of deposit should have not emerged i[censored]nbilled amount was calculated correctly and if I am paying this deposit the atleast of credit limit should have been increased but they have taken this amount advance payment and if that gets exhausted with unbilled amount then again my number will be disconnected.

                                    Please resolve this issue asap. Hope to get some support.
