Hello I have taken idea postpaid cell connection for my son and wanted the credit limit to be fixed at Rs500. Inspite of repeated requests the credit limit is increasing every month and now it has gone up to Rs1300. Not sure why Idea is not acting on the requests if this is not resolved. Then i will move my account to another provider who can fix the credit limit. Thankyou

    Deducted from my main balance due to excess usage when i using already activated Data pack, but when my actual pack is going to expire there will be a notification comes to remind to continue or quit. It was not happen with me, i mean there is no remainder or notification sent when it was eating my actual balance. (i also confirmed with Idea Customer care guys with call recording) So requesting to refund as the amount Rs. 132. My Idea number: [protected]

      I was facing problem unwanted and unnecessary SMSs receiving which is creating non-sense, since I have taken new SIM card of IDEA network. From the date of activation, number of messages (above 100 messeges per day) are received from CH(50). I have requested when I called IDEA customer care to stop, but nobody is able to deactivate this messeges. These messages are very disturbence and inconvenience from night (from 3.00 AM) to all of the day. I have never knew when I used other networks, this non-sense is whenever taken the SIM from IDEA only. Please resolve this issue and do the needful.

        Dear Sir, My Mobile no is [protected].I have done 3G Data recharge of 128 Rs (1GB) on 10th Sep 2014 and my recharge was done successfully and I have got successful recharge message “RCH done. MRP Rs 128 NEW BAL, Plan : 1 GB, 3G data valid for 30 days”. But when I am using internet data charges are deducted from my talk time balance and 3G data balance remain same. When I am checking my data balance using *125# number it shows “Data Bal in ur accoung 1024.00 MB valid till Oct 09 2014”. When i have called Customer Care and they told ISF means Idea Smart Phone and u will use this, I don't have a Idea Smart Phone. They are not written ISF meaning on their web site. I have requested to revert my balance but they denied my request told me it is not possible. Please help me

          I am and Idea user with mobile number [protected]. Recently on 29.08.2014, my balance (around Rs. 33) was deducted and when I contacted the customer care service, he told me that some game has been downloaded by me and hence the deduction. However, no such game was downloaded by me. Another deduction took place on 09.09.14, this time around Rs. 50 and the same excuse was given by the customer care service. I totally negate this statement as I haven't downloaded any games and the balance deduction is entirely vexatious. Kindly look into the matter. Complainant: Advocate Birendra Kumar

            I have contacted Idea executive regarding bad service and extra amount deduction due to that, but did not receive any reply from them. If needed, I can reveal the name of the person who has asked me the details in the beginning, but did not reply after that.

            This is regarding Priority International. You have mentioned that your issue was resolved, but you havent mentioned what happened eventually, did they return you money etc. Also, your mobile number is switched -off, hence cannot contact you.

              I am an Idea Cellular user in Hyderabad. I activated ISD services on my Number through the Idea Cellular website at around 9.30 pm on Monday, 8th September 2014 and PAID 1000 Rs through Credit Card as requested (This service was given to me BY DEFAULT from my previous service provider, VODAFONE). After making the payment, I called the customer care number 12345 and spoke to the executive and requested him to activate the service right away as it was an URGENT requirement for me as I had to make some job related calls. He said the service will be activated by midnight and so I left it at that. Next morning I tried making some ISD calls and found out the service was still not Active. I called the customer care again around 11.00 am and was told that the service was not active for some reason they are not sure of. I asked to speak to the escalation department. Mr. RAJASEKHAR from escalation department comes online after 20 MINUTES of waiting and said the amount is not received by them. I mentioned about the mail I received from Idea regarding the payment confirmation at 10.30 pm on 8th September 2014. He asked me to forward that payment confirmation mail as proof. I did send the confirmation e-mail to the mail ID ([protected]@idea.adityabirla.com) provided by him and received (maybe) an automated reply stating that they will get back to me in 48 HOURS. At 11.30 am, I called 12345 and asked to speak to the escalation department again, Mr. RAJASEKHAR comes online again after 30 MINUTES and still argues that a payment was not yet received and asked for 4 hours time for it to be activated. After 5 hours I tried making an ISD call and still the same message saying that the service is not active. Meanwhile, I received a message at 1.30 So I called 12345 again at 5pm and asked to speak to the escalation department, after more than 40 MINUTES of waiting Mr. RAJASEKHAR came online and apologized that the service is still not active even after the payment being received and asked for 1 more hour and said he will get it activated at any cost, I told him I will check for the services again by 6.30 pm and call him back if its not active. He assured he will not leave office until he gets this done and I trusted him (like a fool). 7.30pm, I get back home and check to see the service is still not active. Now is the worst part, I tried calling 12345 again but was getting a message that all their customer care representatives were busy and the call gets disconnected. I tried calling them several times (around 30 times) and still the same thing happens. I simultaneously called 12345 from my wife's idea number and her phone goes through at the very instance and from my phone it is still the same, cannot get through. I assumed they have blocked my number from getting through to the customer care. I decided to speak to them through my wife's number. I asked to be connected to escalation department, this time another person comes online (don't want to name him) and I asked him to put me to Mr. RAJASEKHAR but for some reason he said he cannot do that. Anyways I explained the whole thing again to this person and asked him if he can do anything. He said there is nothing in his hands, I asked him to either get my ISD service activated or payback the money i paid or put me to his superior or I will not disconnect the call. He kept me waiting on call for 2 HOURS popping in every now and then to say the same thing I have been hearing the whole day "your request has been escalated to higher authorities and will be activated ASAP". Towards the end he started giving me all irrelevant reasoning possible for me to cut the call. In these 2 hours that I was on call, he never put me to his supervisor saying that he was out of office. He started requesting me to disconnect the call saying it will be activated tonight or tomorrow. I did not budge, I was very frustrated. On the other hand, from my phone, I called the Idea cellular toll free number[protected] to register my complaint, I told the guy I wanted to register a complaint, he said he is connecting me to his superior and kept me on hold for 1 HOUR before I decided to give up. In all I spent around 5 to 6 hours talking or waiting on the customer care number which is chargeable at 50p for every three minutes. They got the 1000 Rs. they asked for and the extra money I spent on the customer care calls but could not activate my ISD service as yet. Idea: Please stop marketing like "No Ullu banaing no Ullu banaing" you are making ullu to all you customer stop these rubbish things. In a month of July 2014 I had change my PSB (N) CUG[protected] to PMB CIG Grandeur 1.3 (1092) and It was activated from 30 July 14 from 12:00 am. Earlier i was having 300 mb 3G plan GPRS with100 inr tariff after activation of new plan that includes 1000 mb 3G GPRS, 1300 local/std min, 50 local/ std msg. I didn't get the benefit for 1000 mb 3G data and they charge me 5164.06 inr with 3900 charges of GPRS. Even I had conformed with customer care so many times and they said your plan is active but they are saying you have to pay. My Details: Name: Naresh Thanniru Number: [protected] Issue: Late payment are applied in the month of August, 2014 Reason for July 2014 late payment: Bill details are not shared. As mentioned above, I didn’t pay the amount on time as there was no bill details shared. I have explained the same to support team and logged a request for wave off in the month of August, 2014 and request got closed without any update to me. Paid the August month except late payment charges. But when I see the September, 2014 month bill, I see late payment as outstanding amount. I have been contacting support team since last 4 days..I got different experience. 1) Application is down..Call me after sometime 2) Not able to see amount for your number..call us back after 24 hours 3) We will transfer call to supervisor and they put me on hold, No one picks the call for next 10 mins and call gets disconnected (Got this experience for 4 times) Whom I need to approach in such instances? Can you help on this…

                    To, The Honorable Authority, Consumer Forum, Andhra Pradesh. India, Sub: Hefty hidden charges by Idea cellular Ltd to by Mobile no.[protected]. With reference to the above cited subject I am respectfully bring your kind notice that I have been using Idea cellular mobile connection for the last two years with the same number. I am with post paid mobile customer of Idea cellular Ltd with monthly rental plan of Rs.399 up to 7th August’2014, and due to insufficient Internet data I wanted to shift from my earlier Plan of Rs.399 rental to Rs.499/- monthly rental plan which contain 2 GB of 2G data. Normally I get monthly bill amounts in between from Rs.600/- to Rs.800/- and I paid the billed dues until August 15th 2014(billed amount up to 27 July ’2014) without fail. But on 28th of August I got a message from Idea cellular Ltd and it shows or Rs.3577.57 for the period of 27/07/2014 to 27/08/2014 as monthly bill. When I ask about those bill amount on company’s customer care executive on 30th August whose named Ms.Priyanka Durgam and Bhanupriya Adari and Yemima_ Kondaviti and Bhasha (Supervisor of Idea Cellular) on 5th September’2014 they told those charges belongs to data consumption when I asked how it was charged to my mobile connection though I have the data balance still 54 MB by the date 27th August’2014. After the communications over mobile phone and complaints thru Emails (dated 31st August’2014) I was also promised by the above executives to resolve the billing issue within 48 hours since I complained, but not yet get any feedback from theirs end. In view of the above I approached to you for justice. The billed amount of Rs.3577.57 for a month is pricey to the lower middle class people like me. Hence I request your support in this regard. When I'm accessing Internet on my mobile via wifi then also it deduct balance from my mobile data plan. When I call their customer care to complaint about it then they giving me only false commitment.                         Greeting ... I am new Postpaid subscriber([protected]) of idea. But I feel like I have been cheated or I have been made ullu by idea when I selected my idea 299 iplan.I selected 299 plan of 1GB 3G unlimited plan. The store personal at idea store Wanowrie Pune gave me the confirmation this will be activated on my account.but this people made me ullu. When I gave call to customer regarding alert receiving 90Rs extra charge they told me its the charge for the net uses I was socked that in spite personally visiting the idea store and requesting for unlimited plan they activated a limited plan of 3G without my concern. I deactivate my net immediately and I was FORCED to activate 650 3G unlimited plan by giving call to customer care they told me that it will get activated after 4hr after getting confirmation message from idea after 4hr I activated my net.But in spit activating another plan for 3G I was still charged extra. Which lead to Unbilled amount of 2700 and I was Forced again to pay 70% of my bill because my services was barred. I feel like cheated after receiving 4000 plus bill. I feel like I have done big mistake my choosing idea. I have resister complain for the same at idea customer care but did not received any respond till now idea u people spread awareness of not to be fool by other but u people are the biggest crook.                         Idea disappointed frustrated un professional way u handle complain your Complain handling team is nonprofessional m shock how they treat the customer They themselves don't have any idea what the hell they r saying they just want to do formality by giving call. Speaking all crap, m a educated person I wonder how ur team treat to illiterate customer.I should take u people to court for giving mental harassment I have been calling customer care almost for month.the 1st person I spoke to was cheatan ur senior personal (16 August ) he gave me the information that there is some other plan activated on my account and for same he can't take my complain because bill has not been generated. but after bill has been generated u r just playing with me making me more irritated. More then refund of Money I want proper and professional service and explanation for every Rs charge.

                          Dear Sir, I was deducted Rs72.33 for an outgoing call at 19.41.26 on19.07.2014 which did not mature .I had made this call to my husband on his prepaid mobile no [protected] of Idea Cellular.My husband did not pick up this call as is evident from his call records.As such deduction of above Rs 72.33 was made in corrrectly & wrongly and may therefore be refunded to me Thanks GIRIJA KUMARI PANDITA PREPAID MOB NO [protected]

                            sir 2 months ago i used a postpaid service from idea cellular in this number [protected] after clearing all dues i deactivated my service but somedays ago one customer care cal to my fren number that there is some due amount but i cleared all dues so what to do let me know

                              Hi Sir, I have recharged my Idea number[protected] with Rs249 3G Data Plan on Aug 7th 11:28pm. I recharged through the Paytm Website and used the kotak mahindra internet banking as the payment option and i received the paytm receipt for the recharge done. and the message from bank for the payment made to paytm and i have got no recharge on my idea mobile . I have waited so long. but, no recharge happened . So, Contacted the paytm website for the help. I have attached my paytm receipt & also the Bank's Payment Gateway Reference Num with this request and they contacted me 2 days after and said that "the recharge have been successfully placed so, please contact your operator for the solution." I then contacted the idea customer care they told me sorry no updates made to your account . please contact back the rechrged website. I again contacted the paytm & they gave me " The operator reference number is[protected]A427C1A3 ". for the recharge processed and i have called idea and told the operator ref num they don't even know what does that mean and they disconnected the call.I am very disappointed by this irresponsible behaviour from idea customer support. Please Somebody help me with this issue. I have attached the payment receipt & Recharge Proof along with the Operator Reference Num & Bank payment gateway reference id as well. Thanks, Jai

                                I had an idea postpaid no.[protected] whose bill was once around 10600 which i had promised to pay by 7th sept. 2014. but on 6th sept 2014. i received a call from [protected], they misbehaved, argued, abused and threatened me to pay the bill today only else they will start contacting all my contacts from my no. [protected] and misguide them about my image.They instead of sending me a legal notice to pay the bill they called to all my contacts instead of [protected], they traced [protected] and repeated the same behavior without any prior information and authentication which was completely unconstitutional. Around 12:15pm on 6th sept 2014 i gave confirmation to submit a part of that bill today.but after getting payment at 1:38pm they repeated the same till 2pm. This is the case of my defamation. kindly consider it by amount 5, 00, 000 because while purchasing i have submitted the zerox of my voter id through which they could have legally informed me. Even i offered them to submit a PDC which they denied. But today i received a call from same no. [protected] and she asked about the payment. I replied again that due to some personal reason i will make the other part of payment strictly by 20th sept. 2014. Then she threatened that i hve to pay it by today only otherwise she will contact all my contacts and will repeat the previous behavior again and she did the same. Even she called my mother twice today and abused her, threaten her and misguided about me. Then she contacted to whom those are related to my profession (to students as i am a teacher by profession). I already informed to the idea company through mail on Saturday and they replied that they regret for this and it will no be repeated. And today i again mailed them. So Sir please consider the case in two manners firstly defamation of myself i claim against idea telecom services by amount of 5, 00, 000 and secondly since my another no. [protected] was also traced by them illegaly and without any prior information to me.

                                  I am currently using Idea Wifi connection and the plan name is MUL 599 (http://www.ideacellular.com/wifi/tariff select city as Pune). As per this plan on start of every month I am entitled for 10GB data at speed o[censored]pto 2MBPS and after that 512KBPS but this month for the first 1.3GB data I got speed to 512KBPS instead of 2MBPS. I have called the customer care 20 times in past 4 days but they just raising tickets instead of resolving the issue. Please take a look in this issue

I am forwarding my complaint here also. To whom so ever it may concern, Name :- Vimal Prabhakar Shinde Cell :- [protected], Dear sir, Following are details of my complaints, (A) 1) I have received call from idea representative from [protected] at 10:44am on 4-9-2014. 2) A leady representative has suggested me the scheme of free diallers tune for 90days. 3) According to that I have confirmed following things with her(Idea Representative), By Me a) Is dialler tune is free of cost? By Idea Rep. Ans :- This scheme is absolutely free. By Me b) Is there any subscription fee or monthly rental or daily rental for this service? By Idea Rep. Ans :- There is no daily or monthly rental or subscription fee for this scheme for 90 days By Me c) How much should I charge for this scheme? By Idea Rep. Ans :- This service is free for you & will not cost you for 90 day except change of dialler tune will cost you 15rs. (I can give such miner details because conversation is recorded in my cell) SO after confirming all above details I have agreed to start subscription. Now I have charged 125/- for this service as subscription charge. I request you to please credit my deducted balance ASAP as it should not be deducted as per scheme given by your representative. (B) To register above complaint I have called 198 at 10:50AM. The representative Mr.Rameshwer Kale has picked my call and is very arrogant and not customer friendly. He said you can do whatever you want I can’t do anything for you. IS THIS TYPE OF CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE IDEA HAS HIRED TO HELP CUSTOMERS?                                       SIR, I Arvind Kumar, am an user of idea network (No [protected]) in Ambala Cantt/Haryana. My STD calling rate was 45 paise per minute on STV of Rs 68/- on 31 Aug 14. Now, I have recharged my no with six monthly roaming pack of Rs 181/- on 04 Sep 14. I have not gone on roaming and still in home network area ie Ambala. But my outgoing calls are being charged 1.5 paise per second like roaming. Please direct idea authority for charging my calls as normal for home state @ 45 paise per minute and NOT as per roaming Because I am not in roaming.
