I Rajesh Negi posted in ranikhet dist almora and i am a defense person. i had purchase one idea prepaid sim [protected] and from the first day i started receiving unknown calls and sms. as once a while it is ok but it is regularly disturbing me and my family and maximum nos are of Muslim persons. it is a harassment to me and my family members. even from other countries these unknown calls r coming. now it is to much. some no from which unknown were coming are:- [protected], +43623426, [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. so now it is requested to do some kind and faithful action pl. thanks

    I am Darshan your customer since 2008 my mobile number is [protected].I am facing the problem for unnecessary charges for internet.I received a call from the customer care to change the plan, two months back I have changed my plan from 399 to 599. The last bill was of 1400 which I had paid the recent bill is of 1940.I interacted with the customer care they inform the charges are of internet usage.I donot use my internet so much that the bill is of 1940.Kindly reverse the unnecessary charges levied on my bill .After reversal only I will pay the genuine bill. We are your corporate customers and if the charges are not reversed we will close all our cconnection. All our team members are facing the same problem they are also the willing to close the connection.

      I have an sms pack of rs 34.I had sent a sms today at 6:54. It charged rs 1. After that i called the customer care at 6:55 and made complaint to miss manisha. She told me tha today is a black-out day.I told him that i'd not informed before.
      So you are requested to refund my rs 1 because you hadn't informed me for that.

        Dear Sir/Maam, I had got my number mob. [protected] ported from Airtel to Idea around two months back. Now the services to my number have been stopped although I have not defaulted on any payments to Idea cellular but they allege that I have not made a payment of Rs. 408 to Airtel when I had cleared all their dues when getting ported to Idea cellular (as per my knowledge porting is only possible after all dues have been cleared). I do not know why this nexus of Airtel and Idea cellular is trying to blackmail me as I did not receive any information why this money is being asked for but still I tried to make the payment on the Airtel Website as it was only Rs 408 but I only got response that this is not an Airtel number than I called Idea Cellular if they can receive the extra payment and transfer the extra amount to Airtel as they are the people asking for the amount but they too refused and said that visit Airtel showroom (as if I have done a crime by porting my number and the nexus does not like it) but the showroom also refused and said that visit another showroom in Laxmi nagar as mine was not an Airtel number so they cannot take the payment. How can idea cellular stop services on behalf of airtel but cannot accept payment for it and make customer run from pillar to post? I think these are only measures and tactics being used by Idea and Airtel nexus to deter people from using porting services and blackmail customer for extra money so that porting could be restricted. I will not be the only customer suffering such blackmailing and extortion but there would be thousands of other customer how would have easily accepted there demands because mobile numbers have become identity of people attached to it professionally and emotionally and these people as Idea cellular know that and use it for exploitation. Such people should be booked under criminal provisions of the IPC. Leave alone booking them under criminal provisions of IPC but they hardly face any action from TRAI for using such tactics and thus in a way are supported. Why would the customer not make the payment when he has always made the payment on time and that could be cross checked with records? When all payments are accepted online as I have been making them since years(see your records) why visit to showroom and than onto next showroom? Why no bill is being provided for the payment which is asked for? When Idea can stop services for airtel why can’t it accept payment for it so that payment can be transferred online? Lastly what can a customer like me do, he can do nothing other than making the payment as and when asked for but please at least tell me where will you accept the payment and what all places should I visit so that my payment of Rs. 408 (four hundred eight) is accepted and services to my number are restored. As for authorities if this illegal way of stopping services for blackmailing could be stopped it would be much better for other customers. Thanks & Regards Kartar Singh Nagar 184, Vill.         I have not been given any proof why this money is being asked for or any bill for the payment asked for by Idea or by Airtel. Isn't it unethical on part of telecoms to do such blackmailing but they know that nobody can stop them as TRAI never takes any action against them instead acts as a shield which protects and favours them.

          I have given Rs. 3022 amount to a idea representative on 26th July 2014 for 3 months advance rental (599 plan) and a wifi router (rs. 999). Now the representative is saying Idea connection is not allowed in my building but not responding to return the payment I have given; 1 week of long chase but no action.

            Respected sir, I, Prashant Verma, Managing Director of Shivalik Institute of Management & Technology, Saharanpur, wants to complaint about the network of Idea. Actually our college campus is new which is starting from 20 august 2014 and the institute is situated only from 8 Km from the city but in that area Idea network is not available means there is zero network of Idea. As the college is new & about to start from this session, hundreds of student will study in the college and many staff members are also there so in this respect we need a good network coverage as well as internet connection is also required. we have contact to local Idea office many times but they said they are not able to give support so i need you to please look into the matter and kindly resolve it as soon as possible. we will be very thank full to you.

                Hi, My number is [protected] & my name is Nasrulla Shariff N. I would like to bring to your notice about the situation that i have been facing. I was previously a Tata Docomo customer, i was approached by one of Idea's sales executive who provided me with a good offer after which i ported myself to Idea as a Postpaid customer. The first few months i had been getting bills within the limit of my usage and when i found that my usage was high, i changed my plan and increased it from 399 to 599. When i selected the 599 plan, i changed my packs since the 599 was an Iplan. I had also checked for 3g availability in my area and was said that 3G is available all across Karnataka. I had also made it clear to check if the 3G pack is activated & also gave them a reference as example sending ACT3G to 12345 or anything like this but i was told that 3G is already active on my number. I started using my phone normally and the next i found that i was being charged on every internet usage i was doing. Immediately i called up care center and informed them about this and i got a response that its nothing but just the usage of internet's message that i am getting. I waited all day and next day i found an Unbilled amount on my number. I called up and brought this to the customer care rep for which i was told that am not getting charged for any internet usage, my 3G is active and unbilled amount will be cleared as discounts once i get my bill at the end of the month. Also my request was taken for the 3g issue as i was not able to use or get 3g connection on my phone. I waited for a month and once i got my bill i saw that i was charged Rs. 139 on my bill as GPRS usage. I called up again and when informed i was told that it was pro usage data, but the fact is i never got to use any data. A manager told that it would be waived off my bill but when called back again, the request was cancelled and i was told that it was my mistake that i dint activate 3g on my number and hence i was being charged for internet usage and now i have to pay it. Well isn't it the Customer Care Representative's job to fix this issue for me the very first time when i called about this.? If it was the first person's job then wasn't it the other reps job to get this fixed for me when i kept calling every time for the same problem. This experience has seriously given me a thought of not being an IDEA customer anymore nor make my friends or family to be with Idea because of these negligence towards my problem. Please let me know in this situation what am i supposed to be doing? ALSO LET ME BRING TO YOUR NOTICE THAT AM STILL BEING CHARGED ON MY INTERNET USAGE FROM THE DAY I GOT MY BILL & STILL GETTING AN UNBILLED AMOUNT DAILY & YET NO ONE HAS FIXED THIS ISSUE TILL DATE.

                I had raised a complaint regarding the same on July 22nd 2014 & yet i have got no response from IDEA. I wonder if IDEA is even worried about giving importance to Customers or just letting them go away with these kind of silly issues.

                  i am a disappointed customer of idea since apr 2014. for the
                  first one month i thought idea lived upto to its promises as shown in the tv
                  commercials. then on 26 jun the sim stopped functioning all of a sudden that
                  too when i was on roaming. it showed "no sim". i waited one whole
                  month to return to haryana and after submitting necessary documents was issued
                  a duplicate sim on 23 jul. now after a week my calls were barred because my
                  documents have not reached idea. the idea point at ambala cantt "melcotel
                  communication" has proof that the documents have gone. they say they are
                  helpless. idea customer care says they are helpless without the document not
                  reaching. i am the one who is suffering. i wont submit a single document again
                  after having done that twice. i am thinking of disassociating with idea once
                  and for all, for that will spare me a lot of worries. Please reactivate my sim
                  . I have already lost a lot of money during the one month when my sim went off.
                  My data recharge expired before I could use it. I cant do internet banking
                  because I am a idea customer. Pls look inti the matter and and live upto what u
                  profess. Don’t make ur
                  customers ‘ULLU’. Do activate my sim immediately

Hi, I have been a customer of idea cellular for a long time and have now decided to port out my no. To another service provider as I am facing issues with your network.                     Hi, I have ported my Tata Docomo number [protected] to idea (which seems a wrong decision now which I can’t correct for few more days ). The idea sim got activated yesterday, 31-Jul-2014 and was working throughout the day but it got deactivated in night at around 10:00 pm. I placed a call to idea Maharashtra customer care but got very rude response and call was disconnected without giving any proper information. I asked the name of the person online but did not get answer instead that person disconnected the call. If this is the kind of service idea is going to provide then I think moving to idea was a wrong decision. Looking for any clarifications from Idea appellate authority. Regards, Rahul Surya

                      I Arumuga Ram Prakash has applied for idea WIFI online on 23/07/2014. The next day the POC Mr. Ganesh Visited me and i opted for 599 scheme, with installation charges he charged me 1230. I've paid the whole amount on cash and submitted the doccuments he requested. He gave me a recipt for it. He promissed that by 28/07/2014 I'll have the connection. Till now 1/08/2014 almost a week has passed not even a call from any of the technicians. Whenever i call the POC, he assures me the "connection will be done by tomorrow" several tomorrows has passed waiting in vain. I even tried calling customer care they said no registration is done yet on my name and mobile number. They asked me to wait 48 hours. After two days called again the same reply "wait for 48 hours". I'm completely disappointed by this behaviour. I feel like this 1230 rupees has been stollen from me.                         IDEA executives came 10 days back to IIT Madras campus and took the money and photo id proof from us. Even after 10 days, the SIM has not been activated. I mailed to their customer care service id [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com, but I have not got any response from them. Some of my friends are also facing the same issue

                          I opted for idea post paid connection ([protected]) from 8/05/2014, for the purpose GPRS 3G connection. I contacted the service provider Mr. Ravi [protected] and selected plan of Rs.250. I was promised that I will get 2 GB GPRS free included in this plan. On activation I received a call from customer care, wherein I once again told that I have opted for plan of Rs.250 with 2 GB GPRS free. However, shockingly I received first bill of Rs.1167/- in which Rs. 922 is charged against usage of GPRS data of 332 MB only. I complained in the customer care however there was no positive response. I spoke to Mr. Ravi, who agreed his fault but he told me to pay Rs. 600/- to settle the bill. However, I declined for the settlement, as there is no fault at my end. It is not justified to punish the client, when there is no fault at his end. This is creating a unpleasant experience with IDEA on the first billing cycle itself. I am losing faith on the IDEA staff, who represent such a BIG and respected company. In case nothing can be done at your end, I suggest you to disconnect the mobile connection immediately.                           The complaint is not resolved even today 02.09.2014. There is a continuous follow up from IDEA for bill payment. However, no one in IDEA has regrets, that they lost a valuable customer!!

                            I kotla Anu Radha from Narsapur wanted to change my postpaid sim to prepaid sim . I consulted a nearby idea showroom in pallakol . Their response is not up to the mark and now the sim is not working either as postpaid or prepaid . It is an emergency case please get the sim activated as prepaid as soon as possible

                                Hello consumer department, I have requested for address change 20-25 days before in near by MY IDEA care service(Dundahera, Gurgaon- 122001 Land Mark: Near Hanuman Mandir) and i have also received 2 mail from idea customer services on 11 july, below is the mail snapshot:- "Dear Customer, your request for Address Change has been registered with us successfully for [protected] .Your Communication Id.C1-[protected] would be actioned within 165 hrs..We thank you for preferring Idea cellular and look forward to servicing you.                                   Its been a month, i have ported my number my tata docomo to Idea. Before porting the number I had been to Idea gallery to inquire about their network. I was promised that they have very good network coverage in my area hence I was happy and ported my number to Idea. It was my biggest mistake of my life. Since the time I have been using Idea, I am not able to make a single call peacefully from my house, I have to literally hang myself on window to get the network. I have been tweeting about complain and every time they register my complain and within few days they say, it has been resolved. I am loosing my important calls which is ultimately affecting my income. Who is responsible for it? I cant even port the number for 90 days. These kind of service provider should be banned. Please help me.
