I opted for idea post paid connection ([protected]) from 8/05/2014, for the purpose GPRS 3G connection. I contacted the service provider Mr. Ravi [protected] and selected plan of Rs.250. I was promised that I will get 2 GB GPRS free included in this plan. On activation I received a call from customer care, wherein I once again told that I have opted for plan of Rs.250 with 2 GB GPRS free.
However, shockingly I received first bill of Rs.1167/- in which Rs. 922 is charged against usage of GPRS data of 332 MB only. I complained in the customer care however there was no positive response. I spoke to Mr. Ravi, who agreed his fault but he told me to pay Rs. 600/- to settle the bill. However, I declined for the settlement, as there is no fault at my end.
It is not justified to punish the client, when there is no fault at his end. This is creating a unpleasant experience with IDEA on the first billing cycle itself. I am losing faith on the IDEA staff, who represent such a BIG and respected company.
In case nothing can be done at your end, I suggest you to disconnect the mobile connection immediately.
