This is in respect to the above mentioned subject wherein the Complainant by name V.Pichumani. age; 44 years, using the idea cellular service vide Mobile No: [protected] had recharged an amount of Rs.348/- on 09/08/2014 in response to the idea message "Rs.348=Rs 380 TT, 30 Din" and had utilized a talk time of Rs.30/- till the 14th of August, 2014, till 15.00 hrs and thereafter as he was travelling to Chennai his services of incoming and outgoing was debarred to which the Complainant on reaching Chennai called up on the 16th of August, 2014, the customer care number 12345 to which a executive by name Kavitha responded to the query and replied that the complainant call up a number[protected]. The aggrieved complainant called up as directed and he was answered by one V.Patil and the reply given to the customer query was that the Rs.348/- Recharge package activated on the 09th day of August was meant for local call. Hearing the reply of the customer care executive V Patil the aggrieved complainant pointed the details of the message and pointed out that nowhere it was mentioned that the talktime or rs.380/- is meant to be locally utilized. Further Mr V Patil forwarded the call to his immediate Supervisor Miss/Mrs Kanchana who also took a strong stand as to what her junior said. The Complainant further state that Miss/Mrs Kanchana stated that the aggrieved Complainant can avail the package service once he return to Mumbai and that too within thirty days of activating, otherwise the remaining talktime package will be forfeited by the Idea Cellular Company.The aggrieved Complainant finally state that he is taken for ride for no fault of his by the Cellular Company hence wish to lodge a Complaint against the Company who are taking consumer's for ride by sending simple and plain promotional messages and making it horrible when the time is to deliver. Hope the Aggrieved Customer is not denied Justice. The Complainant state that he is on a business trip to Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu and he is not in a position to return to mumbai till the 30th of september, 2014 and hence if any communication may be given vide the cellular number [protected] as the complainant had activated the roaming free incoming package.         I did my porting from tata docomo to idea 8 days back in my mobile number [protected] in karnataka . 2 days back itself docomo was giving no service and i had got a message that within 2-4 hours after old network provider gives no service i will be connected with new service provider...but even after 2 days i am getting no service in idea network...every time i call customer care they say not to worry within half an hour i will get signal and then i can activate...plz tell what must i do next...plz reply fast...

          My name is Tamal Basak from WB & my Idea no is [protected]. I have recharged Unlimited 199 Plan on 12th Aug 2014 at 7:21PM (As the Confirmation SMS) on which they are giving 2GB High Speed data & post to 3GB at 40Kbps & after that 10Kbps. From the first day, I noticed the speed is very much low that even a single webpage can’t be opened. I thought it was a network problem. But finding situation the same, today when I contacted Idea customer care, they replied that my data has reached 3GB limit according to their system & so I’ll gonna get 40kbps speed. But the thing is that I have consumed just 313.61MB as of now. Even their GPRS USSD code system i.e. *125*2# shows me the same (“Data Volume used has reached 313.61MB, DataPlan-Expiry: Sep 10 2014”) I don’t know what’s wrong with their system & I don’t want to know even. But they refused to take any complains & added it can’t be helped. That means I have to bear with their post 2GB low speed data (on which a single webpage can’t be opened even) for my whole plan period. That’s ridiculous. You can see ad of Idea on Television saying “no ullu banaying” by saying that they are actually making “ullu” of their customers. And that’s the end with Idea for me. I’m forgetting mentioning another thing which is quite funny & Shocking too. Actually I was talking to 1 of the senior staff & at a certain point of time, I asked him to give me their email id so that I can send them a USSD Balance enquiry screenshot showing on my mobile and he was giving me their website address. :D He can’t even know the difference between an email id & a website address. & these peoples are holding job as seniors in Idea Cellular.

            i have tried to recharge my idea no [protected] with Rs.47 thorough online via my internet banking, the amount is deducted from my bank accout which has not been credited to my phone. please recharge my account with Rs.47 special tariff cut .

              Hello, I have been requesting for a complete e-bill which includes call to call charges, from the month of DEC-2013 TO MAY-2014. I have called the Customer Care Helpline more than times requesting on this for which they always tell it was not activated and we will activate by next day . The mails they send again after the request will again not have any call to call details. i have been an IDEA customer for more than 3 years. Please give me a proper response, i again don't want to hear any server problems and other stuffs. I just want an ebill with complete call to call details, if you don't have such basic software to handle this, then send me a printed copy through courier having complete call to call details.                 I am using Idea post paid connection from 1 year back in Pune Maharashtra circle. On my number I-plan Rs599 is activated in which i have activated 8 packs of 3G data i.e. 1040 MB of Internet data. My May, June and July bill have been wrongly generated they have charged me on my Internet data even 1GB plan is activated i have complained for that but its repeating again and again. Because of this Internet data charge my credit limit is exceed every month and my services are closed. So in order to activated my number i have paid them, and now my outstanding balance is "-Rs 1300/-", and when i ask them when this amount will be adjusted they said when bill will be generated this amount will be adjusted. But every month my credit limit is exceed before the bill date and my services are closed so i have to pay them at that time only to activate my services, and so the balance of money is with them only and hence i have no options left to withdraw my money back. But when the bill is generated the bill amount is 1/3rd of my credit limit and credit limit is exceed because they are charging on my Internet data even after i have a plan of 1GB 3G data on my number which is adjusted on the bill date. So dude either increase my credit limit or stop charging me on Internet data. Please resolve my problem ASAP because every 2-3 day they stop my services. - Nihit

                  i am using idea post paid connection [protected] since last 4 years, i have activated a roaming add on pack of Rs. 75, at the time of activation customer care executive told me that incoming will be free and outgoing will be 50 paise per minute on roaming, but every month i.e. from APRIL they charged me wrong charges and whenever i checked my bill and lodged complaint they adjust wrong charges on my bill till JUNE but in the month of JULY they again generated the wrong bill and when I lodged complaint they told that terrif policies has been changed but they didn't give me any information earlier regarding the terrif policy changes. Now idea has denied to adjust the wrong biilng charges of my bill of July. now i dont think that i will continue with idea.

                    I am Having 2 Idea Connection with 1) [protected] and 2)[protected]. Without any request they have activated GPRS on both my mobiles. Previously when they activated I requested and they have disconnected again they have activated GPRS without any request. They have charged Rs.80 as gamepid20 SMS charges and Rs.98.16 as Internet usage charges + Service Tax. For [protected] they have charged 61.04 + Service Tax as Internet Usage charges which I have not used. There is lot of wrong billing in both. The Service part is also very worst from IDea cellular. For previous complaints to customer care there is no response from them.
                    Action has to be taken against these companies.

                      To whomsoever it may concern, I Akash Shetty with Mobile no :[protected] has been an idea user for past years but recently have faced loads of problems due to inefficiency of your low skilled employees at idea who fail to do their work effectively. The person i am talking about is certain Mr. Guru in My idea stores Manav kalyan, Dahisar (east). The person has failed to submit my documents to the company which was handed over to him by me consequent to which services of my no has been cancelled by the company. I have lost My job because my job dealt with handling clients over cellphone. Its a formal complaint against him. On confronting the guy regarding the same, he turned on to be violent and raised his voice to a level where no customer care personal would ever do. The incident is recorded in the CCTV footage dated[protected] between 7-8 pm IST. Very downmarket behaviour due to which i am forced to switch my network from idea to some better service provider.

                      Your efforts of contacting me did not reap any fruit because services to my no had been shut down by the company,
                      and similarly like you many of my valued clients could not reach me and i have suffered heavy losses due to this.
                      This is all because of a person named Guru sitting as a CRE in My idea stores, Manav Kalyan, Dahisar (E). This guy is really a ill mannered, irresponsible person. He must be named customer harassing personal instead of customer care person.
                      I really fail to understand how such a person can get this job.
                      By far he is degrading the name of the company.
                      A serious professional advice to the company by me would be to get rid of the guy at earliest.

                          Sir, I have sent many e-mails(complaints) to idea Customer Care and its Appeliate authority(AP) regarding deactivation of my idea netsetter([protected]). I am not using this idea netsetter since[protected]. Despite that they sent me bill of Rs.1731.26/- last month in July'2014. In reply to my complain they (Idea cutomer Care) said clear your balance. This balance of Rs.1731.26/- I have paid last month (even though I am not using this idea netsetter) assuming that the story will close here, but to my surprise once again they sent me online e-bill of Rs.732.99/- on 12/08/2014. This is really a troubling to customer. I request consumer complaint team to help me in this regard and get me back my already paid Rs.1731.26/- from idea cellular.                           I received a phone call on[protected]:26am) from idea (with Lady voice: mob no-[protected]), asking me when are you paying the bills ? I replied her that, I sent many e-mails to idea customer care & Appellate authority for deactivation of my idea netsetter ([protected]) which I am not using since1-5-2014. She asked me to forward those e-mail copies of deactivation request on the email - [protected]@gmail.com so that she can look into the matter. I forwarded those emails on the given address. on[protected]. No reply received yet.

                            Sir, I have sent many e-mails (complaints) to Idea Customer Care & Its Appeliate Authority(AP) regarding Deactivation of My Idea Netsetter ([protected]) connection. I am not using this idea Netsetter ([protected]) since 1/5/2014. They (Idea Customer Care) replied me saying that clear your balance. I cleared the balance of Rs.1731.26/- (even though I am not using it) last month (July2014) assuming that the story will close here but to my surprise they have sent me online e-bill once again on 12/08/2014 of Rs.732.99/-. This is really a harasment of cutomer. I request the consumer complaint team to help me in this regard and my already paid of Rs.1731.26/- my be refunded back to me.                                     Dear Sir, Please note that I have before Vodaphone SIM that same SIM I switched to Idea due to lot of complain in services of Vodaphone. Idea line was very good before but 3 months from now the range of network not good always network problem. I have complain Idea office in Mangaon, District Raigad, Maharashtra manytimes in our area but your engineering team working they are not cooperative and not in serious their work. The said you have to change sim card, We apply sim card on 9 Auguest they give us after 5 days new SIM and said it will active within 24 hours.Today is 13 August. SIM not activeted still. We called them manytimes but the engineers not reply honestly. Kindly look this matter and solve the problem soon. I have problem with network, we heard that they changed tower direction that why network problem not getting range in our area.                                       Dear Sir/Maam, I had got my number mob. [protected] ported from Airtel to Idea around two months back. Now the services to my number have been stopped although I have not defaulted on any payments to Idea cellular but they allege that I have not made a payment of Rs. 408 to Airtel when I had cleared all their dues when getting ported to Idea cellular (as per my knowledge porting is only possible after all dues have been cleared). I do not know why this nexus of Airtel and Idea cellular is trying to blackmail me as I did not receive any information why this money is being asked for but still I tried to make the payment on the Airtel Website as it was only Rs 408 but I only got response that this is not an Airtel number than I called Idea Cellular if they can receive the extra payment and transfer the extra amount to Airtel as they are the people asking for the amount but they too refused and said that visit Airtel showroom (as if I have done a crime by porting my number and the nexus does not like it) but the showroom also refused and said that visit another showroom in Laxmi nagar as mine was not an Airtel number so they cannot take the payment. How can idea cellular stop services on behalf of airtel but cannot accept payment for it and make customer run from pillar to post? I think these are only measures and tactics being used by Idea and Airtel nexus to deter people from using porting services and blackmail customer for extra money so that porting could be restricted. I will not be the only customer suffering such blackmailing and extortion but there would be thousands of other customer how would have easily accepted there demands because mobile numbers have become identity of people attached to it professionally and emotionally and these people as Idea cellular know that and use it for exploitation. Such people should be booked under criminal provisions of the IPC. Leave alone booking them under criminal provisions of IPC but they hardly face any action from TRAI for using such tactics and thus in a way are supported. Why would the customer not make the payment when he has always made the payment on time and that could be cross checked with records? When all payments are accepted online as I have been making them since years(see your records) why visit to showroom and than onto next showroom? Why no bill is being provided for the payment which is asked for? When Idea can stop services for airtel why can’t it accept payment for it so that payment can be transferred online? What can a customer like me do, he can do nothing other than making the payment as and when asked for but please at least tell me where will you accept the payment and what all places should I visit so that my payment of Rs. 408 (four hundred eight) is accepted and services to my number are restored. As for authorities if this illegal way of stopping services for blackmailing could be stopped it would be much better for other customers. I have already made the Airtel payment via receipt no.[protected]enclosed) on 8th Aug. 2014 but the outgoing services of my number are still being barred. Such misuse of powers are not subject to this case but these telecom companies like Idea have been misusing authority dealt upon them as network service provider for long but no action is ever being heard to have been taken against them and customers continue to suffer at their merciless hands. A few write in hope that some action might be taken against the such dictators of free India who continue to exploit the citizens of India long even after freedom had been attained.                                         This complaint is regarding the mobile #[protected]. I must say that Idea is a big piece of crap and your services sucks big time! From the day I bought the postpaid SIM card, I’ve been struggling with poor network reception, exceptionally slow speed even on 3G mode and last, but not the least, indefinite call drops. Keeping everything aside, the billing procedure was something that really pissed me off! I mean the customer isn’t dumb that you can try cheating him so easily. Just have a look on my bill. It’s near about 4, 100! I paid 1, 500 within the first week on taking connection so you guys started thinking that I’m a loyal customer and I’ll pay whatever you charge! First of all I’ve got enough evidences to prove that you guys were wrong on your part if you try to sue me. I mean if you don’t gimme the data that I’ve subscribed for, how can you charge me fees on it? I subscribed for Rs.650 data plan which comes with 3GB unlimited internet. After subscribing, I just got some 600MB out of it! Where were my rest of the data gone? Well, I got a blunt and boring response stating that I got the data on pro-ration basis. Cool! I wasn’t satisfied with these terms, but I had to accept whatever it were. Being a heavy Internet user, I had to activate the data pack again and one more followed by it. I was aware of the pro-ration crap, but was unknown about the fact of bogus “Charges” on pro-ration, neither did the customer support staffs bothered to tell me about it. They never told me that I’ll be charged additionally for “Activating” data pack. So it’s clear that it’s your dirty trick of earning big bucks by giving very tailored data so that the customer should activate a new data pack and you can implement your “pro-ration charges” on it which is of course, hidden. I activated data 3 pack times because I never got the full data from the pack that I activated. The actual total charge for 3 data pack is just Rs.245.16, but the “activation’ or “pro-ration charges” on it is Rs.1, 488.80! Hell! Can you imagine, the charges are 7 times more than the total cost of data I’ve used? If you guys really implement this “pro-ration” charge then why didn’t any of your customer support officer told me about this? Why was it hidden? Next is about my whooping charge of Rs.1830.7 which was charged o[censored]sing the data. How could you charge me for using the data even though my data pack was active all the time? Like I stated earlier, I’m a heavy Internet user, so I keep data pack all the time active (That’s why there were 3 consecutive data packs). Although my data pack were active under which I’m not supposed to pay a single buck to use the data, how could you charge me for using it? And that too 1, 800! That’s really a big buck. One more interesting thing I’d like to mention, I face a lot of network reception problem in my area although it’s the major area of Mumbai i.e. Girgaon, Chowpatty. I tried registering the complaint zillion times, but it isn’t solved till date and still I’m getting just 2 bars, facing call drops and extremely slow data. You won’t improve your service, but would charge the customer as much as possible and implement all sorts of hidden fees. So from above two cases, it’s very transparent that you guys are trying to cheat me and charge me as much as possible because I paid my first bill without any complaint. Also, your customer support staffs are pathetic! They are the rudest guys I’ve ever seen. Instead of solving my problem, they just said: “You’ve been charged for what you’ve used. If you don’t pay your bill, your services will be closed. For other related information…..thank you for calling idea.” I tell you what, I’m encouraging you to please go ahead and shut down my service ASAP. I don’t want such a crap service where I’ve to struggle for getting proper reception and still I’m charged for what I haven’t used or unaware of. I’m also treated as dog by your so-called “customer support” executives. If you don’t reconsider and tailor the bill, I myself is going to throw the SIM in Chowpatty beach. This was my first “real” bill cycle and you’ve given the worst shock! Do you think that if you’re going to charge me such crazy bucks, I’ll stick with you? Forget! So either reexamine my bill or close the services. I’ll be more than happy to switch to a service which charges honestly and don’t treat customers like dogs. And now I understand why my fellowships were refraining me from taking a Postpaid connection.

                                        My number [protected] you have charged me for data usage saying I have used 2gb data within 2 days which is not. Possible I have already have 1gb data pack active. And you charged me some pro rotation charges. I don't think the charges are correct. Please check and let me know.
