My Number [protected], and i am from Angamaly, Kerala. I have given the PORT request on 5th July from Airtel to Idea. But not yet activated . Now it is the time to expire the PORT code. Now i dont know whom do i contact to get it done quickly.

Now there is a change, no network is working for me . Disconnected from both the network. When i put airtel sim it says mobile network is not available. When i put Idea sim it says Outgoing calls are barred. Now i am totally clueless what to do. Even the idea customer care does not respond to my issues properly. They says i need to check with airtel, but i am sure my sim has been accepted by idea, thats why i see "your outgoing calls are barred" . Otherwise i could have seen "mobile network is not available".

    I using Idea postpaid 1299 plan, No . [protected].


    For sending message in bulk i have taken 50 rs sms
    pack on 05/07/2014, id [protected], your customer care representative
    told me that there is no. limit on sending messages. But just after
    sending near by 100 messages 'message sending failed message started
    coming', while calling on ur cc he said to refresh message center no. which i have already refreshed number of time.


    And ur cc giving the same respond replied number of times, after registering complaint for the same on 15/ 7, no. [protected], today afternoon on reply from ur side told me to remove Sim & reinserts after an hr, But surprisingly it was not even showing network for 4 -5 hrs..


    Again I had to register the complain no. C1-[protected], After a long discussion to ur Representative Mr. Anil wakade,
    who was saying me to go to idea store & get a new Sim & were
    not even ready to get complaint, What kind of solution is that?


    Now just after 10 minutes network came, I have already change sim slots, and even inserted sim
    in new cell phone, message sending problems still persists, there is no
    problem in my cell, I am able to send no. of messages from my other
    sim o[censored]ninor.


    I activated text service for sending messages to a group very urgently & still ur not able to resolve the issues.THAN WHAT IS THE USE OF THIS SERVICE & WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THAT?


    KINDLY PROVIDE ME A CANDID SOLUTION ON THIS, OR I M HAVING LEGITIMATE RIGHT TO NOT PAY THIS MONTH BILL.

    this is a crap..

    Idea resolved the connectivity issue & refreshed the message setting, But till date not responded the 50 rs amount which i have paid to them for service of message pack & unable to utilise in same month due to ur fault..

      Hi, I used an Idea postpaid number [protected] and disconnect the same as of 20th May 2014 and on the same day I cleared all my outstanding amount which was 620 rupees (Attached the invoice screenshot shared by the idea office). The idea office I got the number and disconnected the same was from is Yadav communications, sector 22 gurgaon, haryana and the person incharge is Mr. Pappu Yadav. However from last few days Idea customer care people have been bothering my relatives (They got their numbers from the call history) to pay an outstanding bill of 250 RS. I went to the same shop today 15th July 2014 and Mr. Yadav checked the details and told me that the number was not disconnected but rather temporirily out of service and checked that a bill was generated for the month of June. He also checked that he did process the disconnection as of 20th May 2014 but not sure why the bill was generated and had no further answer to why I am getting billed and kept saying that the no will be disconnected. When I asked him what is going on he said I cant help you further and you have to go to another Idea office at some location. This is simply unacceptable and highly unprofessional behaviour to call my friends and relatives when clearly they have my email address and can send me an email regarding everything.

      Hope you guys are understanding my query? I paid all the outstanding amount on May 20th 2014 and asked you to close the number. So from where has the outstanding amount come from?? I checked at your idea store and the outstanding amount was charged for a bill for the month of June. How is that possible when i clearly closed my number on May 20th 2014 and again i cleared all the outstanding amount when i closed the number. Hope someone who understands english takes up my complaint.

      Your slogan says "no ullu banawing" and clearly you are doing the same now. I am not going to pay any outstanding amount as whatever is going on at your end I am not liable and stop troubling my family and friends by calling them to pay the amount.

      Idiots.
      Are you kidding me?? Did you even read my message. I closed my number as on May 20th 2014 and you have billed me for June 2014. The so called outstanding amount is a bill that you have charged me for a month when i clearly did not use your number. Why should i pay that outstanding amount.

      Bunch of you are.

        Dear Idea cellular I am M. Shanthikumar my mobile No. [protected], I recently become a Idea customer, yesterday I recharged Rs.110 for calls, and Rs. 197 for data, The same day I lost Rs. 110, because I used internet for few mints, yesterday I struck up in the Rain, I tried to make a call but it said u have no balance and you can some loan which it can be deducted from next recharge so called to the number but by mistake I called *150# it was the internet recharge I was not aware of it, after that I recharged 30 all I lost with no reason, then I called to customer care and I asked the reason, she told that because 5 rupees lone you lost Rs. 197 now I am very much frustrated because I lost more than Rs. 300, within a day which I did not utilized it for my purpose. I am requesting Idea to look into the matter and consider my problem and refund or reverse the amount, The reason behind my Request is: 1. I did not ask you for the loan which is popped up on my phone. 2. If the loan causes such a massive lose if some thing goes wrong you have to provide the terms and conditions before proceeding. 3. If every new person is learning the way of recharging in this way by losing hundreds of rupees then the Idea is cheating the people.           I have been using a IDEA Post Paid number [protected] for last four years. This time idea cellular has charged me which I have never expected. I have been wrongly charged for Rs. 495 and Rs. 99 in the form of SMS - MT and WAP download respectively. Neither I have sent any SMS on the number mentioned in the bill nor have I used these apps. I have been using this number for a long time. You should get prior approval before activating these. This is a huge amount which I have never expected. I am not able to pay these charges. Please give me the waiver and send me the new bill asap. Regards Dinesh Kumar

            my no. [protected] have been using idea post paid services for more than 1 years, what i found in this bill is a SMS -MT charges of 120 for no reason, i find this happening with other customers, this is a kind of cheap trick played by your renowed service, please correct the same and issue the fare bill..if no action is taken by you the trust on you will be dissolved and i prefer switching to other network in no time...

              Hi Sir/Madam, Myself Sudhir Mali, mobile no. [protected] customer of idea cellular company Yesterday (14-Jul-2014) I was trying to activate sms pack, so I used usd code to activate, but by mistakenly I activate another two packs. One was 1.2p/s calling and other was std pack for one day.It was my mistake so there no issue and I accepted. Later on I immediately called to customer care to know whether that pack is auto renewal or not. So idea customer care told me that both pack are not auto renewal. After that I activate sms pack with correct usd code and charge applied 5rs for 50 message.Upto this is correct. Now in morning (15-Jul-2014) I got one message that 5rs deducted from my account. I called to customer care the person told me that its a downloading charges, so I told him I have activated Internet pack so how is this possible, he told me some sites take charges and I did not download anything, I told him let me know from which site I downloaded. he checked into system and told me that he do not have any information regarding it was fake answer. I told him that I got message in that its telling 'call pack is activated and 5rs deducted. So he told me, again I have to checked information he then later on told me its charges of sms pack, and sms charges is deducted yesterday night, and also I got sms charges message. So again fake ans. I told him I got message of call pack is activated how can you say this sms pack is activated. I did not activated sms pack in morning its activated at yesterday night. I want my 5rs back and stop this service. Please do something hoping for postive response as like before. Thanks and Regards, Sudhir Mali.

                This mail is with respect to m mobile number- [protected], which have been disconnected permanently under DND violation to me by appellate officer delhi mail, there was an outstanding amount of this number approx- 3100 Rs.
                And now I an facing huge problem from idea recovery agency who are very rude and indisciplined in their communication.
                The girl who calls 100 times continuously to the call list people is very bad in her behavior and dont listen to any body.
                I have talked to her, i am receiving her calls and asked her not to do this I will pay amount in the month of august, as the number is already closed permanently.

                Please do the needful to improve the customer service communication and executives who are very rude and in disciplined.

                I an facing a problem as my internet is not working.
                I reported this to
                Idea customer care bathinda.
                But they ate talking to each other and ignoring me.
                After 4 minutes they asked me and they tried to solve it.
                Then a man came and asked me who am I???
                He said me to get out in arude voice and said never come back.

                    I port me reliance GSM number in idea for hope provide a better network and service. but idea is not provide the network the idea network is very very lazy I goto the terris but provide only 2 network cell and my 3g internet pack is convert into 2g internet and 2g internet is very very lazy and dump. I very very frustaid to the idea network only 2 mb file is download in 5minute and more time is disconnect my net. I request plz solve the network problem other give me a UPC code for port idea network to Vodafone. Vodafone is more more better then idea before porting check the Vodafone network is good then idea so port on Vodafone but its very big mistake port in idea.but again request solve my network problem. This mail copy to send the consumer form the complaint of my 3g net pack is waste and its responsible of idea and this copy send to the trai.

                        We regret to here from you that your are unable to enhance the coverage... boss kindly check the sight, your tower has been destroyed due to fire in hirabhai market, kankaria road, opp vanijaya bhawan, ahmedabad.

                        You should put the efforts atleast to check the site, what is the actual problem, boss sumel business and new cloth market are the main business centre, i suppose you might be getting the major business from them. it is really shamful to here from idea cellular, this is insisting us to POR to other mobility immediately.

                            Dear Idea Cellluar, You have rejected my porting request twice without informing the reason for it. It appears to me that you are using the post-paid bill as an opportunity for cancelling my porting request. First of all, this is highly disgusting and I have been highly disappointed by your customer service. I, therefore, has made an additional payment of INR. 200.00 so that you may feel embarrass and help me to port out from your network. At the sametime, you have not provided the bill related query and other answers to my queries addressed on July 1, 2014. I, once again, request you to kindly help me to port out from your network and kindly consider INR. 200.00 as advance for the same. Do let me know for any other expenses/dues that I have on your network or even if you want to charge me for anything, I'll be happy to pay for easy and fast port out from your network. I hope that some urgent action must be taken in this regard. Regards Nikunj Jain Dear Sir, I have made the payment of INR 365.10 on July 1, 2014 before I decided to port out. Please answer me the following queries: On what grounds, you have rejected my porting request? Your network is so nice that four of your customer executives can't have a proper communication to me. This is your problem because you didn't provide a good network. I am not responsible for your inconvenience to reach me. Why didn't you respond me for any matter related to port out on my e-mail? I have already made the payment of INR 365.10 and since the bill is generated on July 5, 2014, I would have made the part payment before July 20, 2014; the timeline that you provide me. In fact, I would have paid today but again you have not updated the amount into my account and the bill shows INR 410.68. Please clarify me why INR. 365.10 is not credited into my account and the same is not deducted from my current bill? Why I have not been informed by you before you decided to reject my porting request that billing is the criteria that I need to complete first? It appears that you are using this as an opportunity for you to reject my porting request and get additional billing on me for not closing the account on July 5, 2014. I am not liable for any dues after July 5, 2014. You reached me for finding out the reason for porting out and other false claims for improving the network which I don't need. Why I am not provided the details for easy porting out? Is this how you treat you porting out customer? Why you want to give pain to the customers who are fed up with your network and want to close the relationship faithfully by settling all the accounts fairly (payment of INR. 365.10 on July 1, 2014 proves this point)? Please give me the reasons for rejecting my porting request. I urge you to check my bill generated, again emphasizing that I have made the payment of INR 365.10 and do inform me the remaining payment. Please help me to port out from you as early as possible. Please use my alternate number to reach me [protected] or mail me but make sure the porting out is done as early as possible.

                              Respected Sir/Madam I am post-paid user of Idea from Maharastra region. Due to some unavoidable circumstances I failed to pay my postpaid bill. Now I am trying to make the payment by logging into my idea account but it simply rejected. Next as per the message send from [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com dt[protected] I tried to make Express Bill Pay from from Idea website but it is also not axcepting with a message that it is not a valid mobile number. From last 20 days I am trying to make the payment online but it failed. Presently as I am out of Maharastra so I will not be able to make any offline payment hence please let me know how to make my outstanding payment online in a official way. Further please inform me the steps of how to permanently discontinue my idea number. . Once again I am deeply regretted for not making my regular payment. On complaining at local idea office they suggested to move into a higher rental plan and committed to wove off the excessive amount. But after payment of my bill they refused to do so.                                   I'm Idea Rajasthan customer and with a 4G SIM they sold me an unavoidable inconvenience rendering my smartphone "useless". Since I can't do any operation on phone except clicking 'Cancel' or Save' of flash message every millisecond. The customer care 198 was contacted today and gave no satisfactory response.
                                  Who in this country has given power to Idea company to work against the TRAI guidelines?
                                  I didn't give my consent for promo messages in written.
                                  Worst customer care!
                                  Worst customer friendly telcom company, harassing consumers every second!!
                                  The IDEA Flash messages which appear on user lock screens
                                  are just 1 click option to sell unwanted promotional coupons and get money
                                  deducted from user balance. I read on online forums about the stress other
                                  customers are going through due to the same and have been able to interact with
                                  other customers. This is a forced option as you do not provision the Flash
                                  option to be deactivated in your SIM applications menu. This is unethical on
                                  consumer part and against the TRAI norms for forcefully deducting money with
                                  just a unattended false touch. Other providers such as Vodafone do the same but
                                  at least there is an option in there menu to disable flash messages but IDEA
                                  Cellular is just a forced option with no way to disable and they keep funding their profits stealing from
                                  customers pockets. I talked to my uncle explaining him the technicalities of
                                  the issue and he suggested me to file a PIL against the same. If there is no
                                  response or reply from Idea I will be forced to agree to his suggestions and
                                  there will be thousands backing me on this I am sure.

                                  Iam idea kerala prepaid customer. I have been using idea sim since 6 years. I am sending this complaint against idea cellular network which is continously sending idea power flash messages and looting money from poor customers of india.
                                  I think this is just as cruel like terrorism because there is no option to stop these crap flash pop up mesages. I contacted idea cellular constomer care 3 times regarding this complaint. But said that they cant do anything regarding this complaint. Iam not the only one who is suffering from this huge problem. Crores of indians are the subscribers of them.

If both of them do same offence, government and our constitution must take necessary action. This is a serious issue and i have the support of lacks of poeple who is suffering from this issue.                                   Vodafone has the option to de-activate flash messages. Idea Customer support doesnt have a Standard SOP to resolve this issue. So they have to refund the deducted amount as well as they should be heavily fined for such negligence.

                                  Hi Al i just had the same problem and talked to an Idea executive. This is by far the worst possible phone network in India. No other mobile network charges for calling their customer care.
                                  Anyway the Idea executive told me to follow this process:

                                  1. Goto Applications menu in your phone.
                                  2. Under Applications select Idea Power
                                  3. Under Idea Power select idea Flash
                                  4. There you will see two options: Activate, and Deactivate
                                  5. Select Deactivate

                                  I just did it. Hopefully it works. By the looks of it, I will not continue with this network service for long. It is the most hopeless, and has the highest rates.

Last week I bought Lenovo K4 note and the time and changed my sim to this the flash messages are torchoring me. Please let me know a way to stop these. My other sim Airtel is quite fine.                                   I am also facing the same issue, idea call center resources ware care less thy ware not refunding that amount.                                     I changed my idea prepaid to postpaid when ond idea agent came to my office n convinced abt 5gb free data for 3sims at 999 rental. He cheated me n my collegues by asking 1000 rs each for starting plans. After that I got wrong billing till feb for net usage which was free in 999. My bill used to come in 3000 to 4000 range without much usage . I had to complaint for this almost 15 to 20 times in idea gallery n on phone to idea manager . But finally I got my sim plan change in march to 249 rental. For 3 months I got proper bill as per usage bt after that I got extra 418 bill for one of 3 sims which was in mobile which was switched off n not in use as its camera doesnt work. They have charged 418 rs for tht sim from which not a single was done. In billing they show tht sim in 999 rental which was changed to 249 since feb 2014. So again I had to go idea gallery 5times since then inspite of my busy schedule being a doctor. Still my billing correction not done. I called on 198. I got call from company but guy from company humiliated me instead of forwarding my complaint n he refused to take my complaint saying tht ur complaint is wrong. Since september 2013 m facing lots of frustration abt billing n had wasted lots of my precious time n energy . I really want to go for consumer court after so much annoying treatment from idea company in billing n services from idea gallery. Whenever I go to port m sim to other company ur people say come on 15th I go on 15th they say ur bill is nt out yet . On 16th they say already ur next month billing started. Its really very annoying. As my idea number is for profession use I hv given it to various official correspondents . Now outgoing is stopped though m ready yo pay bill as per my usage bt I hv to suffer coz ur billing was wrong for one sim. Nothing can be so frustrating.

                                      I am having an idea mobile connection bearing the number [protected]. I submitted my ID proof to get a micro-sim. My sim was not activated and when I contacted idea office they told that it my ID proof was lost at their office. They contacted me after I submitted a complaint on the issue and my sim was activated. They also mentioned that my ID proof was found there at their office and the next day I got a message from idea insisting me to submit my ID-proof. I again called their regional office. After trying for a long time (there was ring and they were not attending call) I was informed that it was an issue with the server and would be fixed once the details are updated.Today morning when I tried to call from my mobile I am getting a pre-recorded voice message from idea telling that I have no facility for outgoing calls.

                                        Sir, I did a recharge of 745 unlimited internet plan on my idea no [protected] on 2nd july, 2014. According to this plan: MRP 745 Data Benefit: unlimited 4gb FUP Data Validity: 30 days FUP limit: Speed post 4GB @ 80kbps above information is provided by company website http://www.ideacellular.com/mobile-internet/3g/prepaid-data/gujarat, when i did my recharge. Now when my 4gb is over my internet speed is only 5 to 10kbps on full 3g network instead of 80kbps. Which is not sufficient to open a normal website. When i call customer care they told me that post 4gb speed is 0 to 80kbps. which is not provided on website.
