Hi, Idea activated a service called Idea Talkies on my number without my confirmation on 24-Jun-2014. When I contacted the service desk immediately, they were not able to explain me how it got activated in the middle of the night, without any internet pack, and on a 2G phone. The service desk supervisor was un-cooperative and refused to escalate the issue further or refund back the balance. I have been using Idea service since over 6 years and this is the first time I have faced such a disappointing support for an issue which was not even caused by me. Hi,
I never had approved any VAS activation. So charging me for any service which I have never used is not at all accepted. This is exactly the reason I am complaining in the first place. I am expecting an explanation on why it was activated without any confirmation and assurance that it will not happen again.

    Mobile number [protected] Area - Kerala, cochin, kakkanad. I had done 248 rupees 3g internet plan. But internet is not connecting properly. It is disconnecting frequently even not stay connected for one minute. Idea customer executives agreed that this area having temporarily network issue. They started this excuses before 3 month itself. What the hell they are doing they are not solving the customers complaints. My friend number [protected] also having this same problem and he is facing problem from two months before. Still there is no solution for this complaint. Idea network providing fake offers and worst service. We have only one chance is number portability. But we need refund compensation for the loss we had.

        i m taking Internet pack of 449.00 rs on few days and i have received message on today 12.29 it is - Priya Grahak, aaapka internet pack aaj khatam ho raha hai. Internet seva ko lagatar chalu rakhne ke liye*800# dial karein. regards !dea . then i am very afraid and very sad in 3 hours .but when i checking my internet pak by *125# and then i receive message it Main Bal. 63.89 Data (MB)-1813.12 Data (MB) data pack Expriy Jul 20 2014. what is true and give complaint then i call 12345 but they says only sorry but not complaint in registrar . so i am complaint that who is ressponsibal of sending costumer wrong message and his mentely torchor who is ressponsibal mere 3-4 ghante muje mentely torchor karne walala kon hai . aur muje wrong message kyu bheja i want answer by idea cellular

          I had submitted my documents and paid the money to the local Idea office on 19th June. The guy there told me my card would be activated within 24 hours. Despite calling multiple times, constantly for 14 days now (the maximum time for MNP should be 7 days according to their own document!) I have received no satisfactory reply from anyone from Idea.

          I've tried calling[protected] and also via the "Idea Showroom" number 121 and I am not even sure if calling Idea even matters anymore. They executives said that I have to "re-submit" the same document that I did 14 days ago! What an incompetent bunch!

          Now I am in a limbo as I can't even recharge money into my old card lest DoCoMo suddenly decides to shut my number down.

          I am already regretting porting to Idea from the equally worse Tata DoCoMo.

            I had activated Monthly SMS pack on date 01.06.2014,
            At that time there was one message from idea which was telling me for auto-renewal of the scheme.
            According to that message if I reply 'y' then plan will be auto renewed after a month.
            I pressed yes.
            Then I realize I don't require renewing the plan.
            So I called idea customer care and requested the information for how to stop auto renewal of the plan, the person from idea replied that this auto renewal scheme will be activated only if you press 'y' after a month when you are asked to renew the scheme.
            I confirmed thrice for the same that only after a month, if I reply with 'y', then only it will be renewed.
            Then on 30.06.2014 I called once again to reconfirm the same, the person from idea told me the same.
            On early morning of 02.07.2014 plan was auto renewed without my message of 'y'.
            I really shocked how it can happen.
            And this time I also called customer care, Supervisor didn't reply properly. She talked rudely. She told me use the plan its in benefit for you.
            Then she told me to call after 2 hours. Then again she told me that you have sent message that's why you are charged but really I didn't. And she refused to register a complaint.
            You can check all records of my phone and recording on idea side.


            This creates a lot of waste of my time as well as money and peace of mind.
            These companies are looting citizens of India.

            I have more than 100% faith in Indian consumer forum.
            Please do the needful and lodge my complain and create a sample to all these companies so that they cannot loot citizens of India illegally.

              In the month of April'2014, date was 19th when i while browsing IDEA website in order to have a 3G plan i clicked one plan to get the information but shocking that plan got activated. Immediately i called IDEA phone care executives and asked for what that plan was and also requested to de-activate it immediatly. They refused saying plan will get on charge after mid-night and de-activation request can only be taken once its active. Fair enough i again called next morning, which was sunday and care executive told me its not possible to de-activate the plan over the call you only have to visit a IDEA showroom, i debated as to why this procedure, then why you have accepted the online request. Atleast give me the option to do this change online, but he was rigid and asked me to visit the showroom for any change. After several phone calls, email (copies still preserved with me), finally when i requested them to disconnect my no. as i m not satisfied with your services. I recived a call from their Noida office saying that whatever plan you want shall be activated thus take back the disconnecting request. So like this after almost 10 days they changed my plan, around on 29 April. During that time i also opted for 3G plan, but horounable court that time IDEA was not having 3G in DelhiNCR, they made me fool by charging 3G and giving the 2G speed. IDEA got 3G only on 04/05-May but since 29th April i was like fool talking to thier care executive thinking off my phone settings are not supporting 3G speed, but i came to know later that IDEA does'nt have the 3G but mistakenly provided me the 3G plan. After this incident i decided not to have any trouble and put my papers to VODAFONE for porting my no. on 04-May itself. From 13-May i got Vodafone services. And on 16-MAy i got IDEA bill for the period of 15-April till 14-April wherein they charged every unreasonable amount like i am having a black money to pay off them. When i was fighting with IDEA for the wrong bill, i don't know how HDFC paid the bill on 23-May saying SMART PAY facility is activated. But sir this particular facility was deliberately closed by me on 22-April to which i got the confirmation SMS from HDFC on 23-May (still with me, preserved). So due to HDFC my fight with IDEA comes to an end, it has to be right because i was having no reason to fight then, payment was already reached to them. But it date i have not paid this amount to HDFC, i have taken up the matter it there Grievance Cell but seems like no sensible person holding that position as repeatedly i am getting similar type drafted answers, sometimes totally out of the scope of questions. They are truelly neglecting there sms confirmation dated 23-May and just saying it was activated on my request, to which i never deny that but i had made the cancellation request too, which was accepted by HDFC and sms was posted to me confirming the same. Then how come a transaction could be made after that date, i am fail to understand this.. and they are also fail to answer that. That's why it complaint to this honorable court, your intervention is required here to sort out this which is between IDEA, HDFC and the undersigned. Dear Court, i also want to mention here one serious error my IDEA... they have raised the bill on me for the period of 15-May till 14-June...but since 13-May i am using VODAFONE... this particular complaint was also discussed with IDEA to which also they are not sorry and asking me to pay... unethical you see.. complaint already posted to their appellate authority and the response still awaited.                 i have been living out of town for last 7-8 months but when i came back and start my idea number, i came to know that my balance have been deducted and i when i called them they said they have deducted for zero usage every month Rs.20 for 7-8 months without sending me any message or call me.Even guy there named Yogesh (senior aadhikari) talked with me rudely, and they even refuse to submit my complaint, they said its a rule and we cant write ur complaint and do whatever u want to do, so i messaged for port and soon after that they deducted another Rs.20 on 1st July from my balance till now they have deducted atleast Rs.150 without any service and not writing my complaint so i am writing here, plz check the matter and try to resolve it, my no. is [protected]

                  Dear Sir/Madam, I want to complaint against C-105 Phase 7, Industrial Area Mohali, Sector 73, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab[protected] for not giving proper 3G services in Sector 44 B Chandigarh and I had called their Toll Free Number 198 and they are always saying our Customer care Executives are always busy and what these people do is that unregistering the signal from the server and put out the cable from the server.There is no signal of 3G in Sector 44 B Chnadigarh and most of their is no signal in sector 44 B Chandigarh.Please take a legal action against the Idea cutomercare who is not giving proper services 3G services as Iam paying them service tax also.Please take a legal action against the person who is responsible for not giving proper 3G services in sector 44 B Chandigarh.Thanks With Regards Puneet Pal Singh

                    i have idea 3G data net setter having no.[protected] with postpaid connection.i have deactivated my connection on 14 feb 2014 and paid all dues. after that i again activated my connection on 19 feb 2014 as i received a call from idea outlet located at GAJANAN COMPLEX, MAKARPURA, VADODARA. stated that this is good plan and now u can activate this again, so i went to idea outlet and again activated my connection. but after that i got transferred to mumbai, so on 24 feb 2014 i again went to same idea outlet for deactivating the connection. the lady was sitting there told me that you have unbilled Rs.70.she told me that pay Rs 70 and she will deactivate the connection.but after two months i received number of calls for paying dues of rupees Rs 500 for same connection. after enquiring i found that my connection got closed on 13 april 2014. i went that same outlet the same lady said that she replied that " yahan bahut loog aate hain mujhe yaad nahi maine kya bola". she was telling that you can complain anywhere, she donot any etiquette how to resolve customer problem. i contacted 198 and registered my complain but they told me that u have to visit for same outlet for resolving the issue. but that outlet is not listening anything and she is not accepting her fault. it is not rocket sience to understand that if i have a post paid connection then why i will pay Rs 70 beffore bill generation date.obviously it was done to deactivate the connection as per instruction given by idea staff. why iam receiving calls, person came to my residence for collecting dues and legal notice.please do the needful as iam living in mumbai and i have to resolve this issue in earliest manner. it is not a n issue of Rs 500. it is issue of cheating. my alternate contact no is [protected]

                      my cell number is [protected] rajasthan. maine ye naya connection liya hai. Connectivity is good. maine 25 ka trail pack liya jisme mujhe mile 500mb for 5 day. same day maine 1 bar or 25 ka recharge kara liya to usme mile 130 mb only. lekin net balance add ni huaa or new balance hi raha wo bhi 130 mb. This is very wrong 500mb jiski validity 5 day honi chahiye wo to aapne uda hi di. this very very wrong. i am very very unhappy.

                        Dear Sir/Madam, I bought a New SIM Connection on Thursday (26/06/2014) from "Sapphire Telelink", Vijay Nagar, Indore, MP. They told me that SIM will be activated by Friday. But that was not happened, so that I visited the store on Saturday and they giving me excuses and told me that SIM will be activated by Monday. But today also SIM is not activated. Now they made an excuses that the men who took the application from their store he may not be submitted the same. The Behaviour of the executive over their is not so good. My New SIM number is +[protected]. I hope you look on this matter. Kindly activate my SIM by tomorrow.

                          I wanted to control my excessive calling bills so I decided to use a rate cutter for Idea (Rs. 34/-) to minimise my cost. When I did it online today on 29/06/2014 at 7.00 pm and I recieved a Message "SUCCESSFULL, MRP.34, BENEFIT -ALL LOCAL MOBILE CALLS @!.6p/2sec, VAL 30 days.(FISRT 60 SECONDS @1.6p/sec), Where, before making online recharge, it was mentioned nowhere, this is very illegal. Then I dicided to call 198 to know more about this fraud, and, I was surprised to hear more offers than to listen my complains, I was put on IVR since my call started and I was not given any button to contact customer care to lodge my complaint. This is totally ridiculous and makes me worry, whether TRAI exists in this world or not.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I have an idea no. [protected]. Few months back my no. was added in CUG of Jain Laboratory Glassware Co. Now as I no longer want my no. in the CUG, I want to get my no. removed from the CUG. I have written many times to the local office and many representatives have visited my office and promised that my no. will be removed from the CUG but till date nothing has happened.

                            Few Days back I wanted to port my no. from Idea to vodafone, but I am facing a lot of problem for portability. Your local office personnel are harassing me and not helping me in any way.

                            Please look into the matter seriously as I am facing a lot of problems due to this.

                              Dear sir/madam, I am the regular customre of idea company past three years and my mobile no. is [protected].My issue is about the online recharge process.when i try to recherge my number through the online service, then it shows an error stating that "your mobile number is temporarily barred from refill, please contact your operator".It means i am not able to de the online recharge.I am facing this problem from 26 May 2014 to till now. I have called in idea customre care and register a complaint.The complaint number is[protected], but they did not give me a good responce i.e they have not solved ..ignore always used to say that we will solve your problem in 24 or 48 hours and also said to me that u will get a call from company regarding your issueh. But still i have not get any call from company and my issue is not solved till date. I am facing this problem very badly.This is bad thing that they are not able to solve my issue. Pls solve my issue as soon as possible.

                                dear sir when i am going out of maharashtra state at kashamir that time i am activate roaming charge pack Rs.75 per month i am out of state 12th may to 21 may that period i am in roming circle when i am come back in maharashtra that time i am stop my roaming pack...but when company generate the bill they charhe 24 Rs.roaming charge as per pack activated in my no...but other than this pack company extra charge Rs.176 claimed as roming charge..i am complaint to idea customer care but they are not solved my problem then i am not paid companies bill..they will be barred my out going calls from today.. so please help me and solve my problem

                                  Someone stole my mobile phone while travelling.I tried calling idea customer care for tracking the mobile but they said that police will do it.Incase of such emergency no one is helping.Neither the police nor the sim card company.What should a common man do avoid all this.He or she requires immediate help from Police & sim card company to track the mobile phone & catch the theif.But nothing happens.Police say it is long procedure it will take 15-20 days for application to be processed to service providers & if the theif inserts simcard then only they can do it.My concern is anyone who steals the phone will first switch off the phone & throw the simcard.It is first hour which is crucial & nobody is there to help at this time.This lazy policemen are never helpful.Please guide how to get any lost mobile phone bcoz we ourselves have to take care.This [censored] POLICE wont do anything

                                    I want to raise a complaint regarding harassment calls by Idea service provider to my wife.

                                    At 6:00 PM (IST) on 26th June 2012, my wife received call on her Vodafone No from mobile no, Caller is lady with (Fake Name) explained my wife that mobile number of my wife is reference mobile number of one of the defaulter IDEA Postpaid customer. My wife identified the person (Relative) and told that lady that she will inform that person to do the payment of pending bill amount.

                                    Even after intimation and saying that she will convey the message to defaulter person, my wife gets the continues call from same number, and that lady started abusing and talking very nonsense to my wife saying she will call my wife until Idea does not get the payment cleared….

                                    Idea caller called more than 10 times and harassed/ threatened my wife like anything till my wife cried and begged for stop calling her.

                                    Please understand we are reputed citizen of India and we can’t afford such harassment and torture even our number is just a reference number in someone else mobile. We tried to help Idea by giving mobile number of defaulter person but still we are getting the calls from Idea.

                                    I demand apologies from female executive of Idea or Collection agency hired by Idea (whomsoever) to my family (wife) whom she abused and harassed.

                                    Kindly look into this matter on urgent basis. Hope to hear from you soon.

                                      Mobile number - [protected] area - Kerala, cochin I had done data plan 201 rupees. Unlimited data plan. I am using Nokia Lumia 720. mobile data is not connecting properly. Frequently its get disconnected. Same issue is facing my friends also. And I had noticed to their customer care executives. But no use. note that I was using this plan from three months before and I was troubled these months. thanks and regards Subash.n

Mobile data is not connecting properly and disconnecting frequently even in full network signal. My friends having the same issue. These network is cheating the customers. And the same I had talked many times to their customer care executives but no use in that. Note that while calling to their customer care call will not connect.
