I'm not at all happy with Idea...
I love using Idea in my early days being Idea as my first cellar network that I used. Whenever I want to get a new connection
or new data plan I first check in Idea but now I hate this network because... because...
I used a number for data card for a month but the network was not good so I paid some remaining amount and applied for
cancellation nov/dec last year. After 3 months that is in Feb 2014 they keep on calling me saying your bill amount is in pending, I was shocked how can this happen.
I applied for cancellation and agian they say it is in active and you are using it, how could this happen.I went to the same center
and I asked the reason they said some docs were missed and they said some stories and they asked me to pay Rs. 1692/-.
I paid that amount again applied for cancellation and on 25th feb, 2014 this time I noted down the date and I asked them the receipt, they said we don't give receipt for cancellation but on a peace of paper they wrote their agency name and a stamp and gave it me saying this will act as a receipt but ideally we don't have any receipt. I wait their for an hour and took the confirmation and they said it'll be over by today. I left to office and I forgot that even.
Again last month I got a call saying your bill is in pending, this time I was double shocked. How could this happen with me again,
I wrote to appellate, I wrote to customer care no one replied on this so far and no one called. I called customer care and they told
Sir please visit the customer care it will be done. I tried calling customer care going there but it didn't connect because of
peak time.
Conversation with the Agency guy:
Me: I applied for cancellation for two times and you guys didn't do it.
Agency Guy(AG): He ignored me and talking to the others who is waiting.
Me: I was waiting for him 10 minutes then after leaving everyone he started talking.
AG: Sir, what happened. I showed him all the documents and he said sir it is active still.
Me: For that reason only, the notice has come from Idea.
AG: where did you apply for cancellation?
Me: I told him everything about first cancellation in november and second cancellation in feb
AG: You need to go to Champapet.
Me: Sorry, I can't go.
AG: Come on monday we will see.
Me: What happened today?
AG: No answer
Me: Come on monday we'll see..
AG: Sorry, I have office.
Me: Tell me one thing, for connection you guys come to my office, my home and give connection and for cancellation why should I go here and there
AG: Yes, you have to go. for whom sake you took this connection. You should check whether it is been cancelled are not.
Me: So, even after handing over everything and disconnecting and applying for cancellation, we should again come and check with you
AG: Yes.
Me: What should I do now?
AG: If you want go and file a case!! You spoke something at that time with those people who were there and they don't even exists now
and they even don't know what was the system.
Me: I was silent.
AG: take my number and call me on monday, i'll update the reason why it wasn't cancelled(rashly).
I just took the number, even then he didn't give his number. he gave some other number. In turn he was asking me who was here the last time you came here. I was shocked, do we ask anytime the names of the persons there. :O
