    01.Unlawful deduction of Rs. 5 form My Mobile
    On 17.09.2010 I received a SMS " Your daily Idea Game Box Subscription has been renewed. You have been charged Rs. 5 for 1 day . To unsubscribe SMS UNSUBGBX to 55435."
    As I have never requested for any game box without my request why they renewed or opend this service. After having this SMS I Sent a SMS to 55435 not Subscribe I have been Chareged Rs. 5 that is unlawful and refundable.

    02. I had DND Service Since 2007 and have unique ref. no. 33975530 dt. 27.10.07 but without my knoledge / request thay had stoped the DND services
    after having several repeted requests to stop unwanted SMS & Calls. Idea is not intrested to stop the calls and SMS. Some time Idea says it is active when I show the sms they says go to our office to show the SMS. I would like to know why they have whidrawn the DND Service from my Mobile

      I, Purnendu Ghosh, a prepaid customer of your company bearing cell no. [protected].

      I have taken connection nearly two months ago & suffering from very beginning of taking connection.

      1.From the start date its call charges not actual which was committed( committed 40 paisa per minute but its charging 1 paisa per second)
      2.From very first day balance deducting saying dailer tones active (whether no dialer tone was active/is active since beginning)
      3.Everytime customer care dept. is so worst responsive that solution is very far no satisfactory disccussion went on.
      4.Till now 48 rupees has been deducted on 03.08.2010,22.08.2010 & 16.09.2010 respesctively without my knowledge or any pre information to subscriber.
      5.Even after a talk with cistomer care executive Mr. Debabrata on 16.09.2010 he said that no dialer tone active right now but after 1 hour balance got deducted.


      Basically I tarvel & fly due to my company jobs thats why its always difficult to reach customer care.So that my harasement went on day after day and I was keeping patience but now its not tollerable.

      Kindly refund all deducted amount with interest amount & convet my plan to per minute charges as commited by IDEA.

      Let me know how much time you need to resolve this issue.Otherwise I have to go legally.

          Idea Prepaid — network problem

          sir,
          I have an idea prepaid connection which dont have sufficient network coverage in my residential area. Iam a student of film and television institute of India, Pune and since iam living inside the campus only. It is a terrible fact that the above mentioned company dont have a sufficient network inside such a famous national institute. So please take necessary actions as soon as possible

              Dear ALL in Idea Complaint Department.

              Greeetings!!!

              Its realy hard to write a complain for such a big group, however there is a saying " A single rotten apple makes the whole lot rotten"

              Well the case started on 11 August, i recieved a call from one of a customer care from Chandni Chowk the name of the caller was Sherya by the mobile number [protected], [protected],[protected],[protected]. all these were the number from which she called me.

              The main agenda of the call was making my prepaid idea converted to apost paid number with a plan of 199, i aggreed to it as i was earlier using postpaid. i asked them to send a executive to my office so as to collect the docs mentiioning the TL and Sherya all the details regarding whom to meeet if i am not present in the office, the executive came without having any knowledge with whom to meet and went directly to my DGM room and asked for my docs, that was highly rediculous, anyways it was told to me by that executive that i number will be started in 24 hrs but its took 8 days to start my number even when my verifications were made.
              That was very cheap i suffred for a heavy loss as my perpaid number was also stopped, well that is one thing latter on after the complition of one month i checkd my bill it was Rs 532 i made the payment of 500 but still my number is not yet started and when ever i make a call it say " The facility to number are not available"
              Sir i am still getting call from that girl and other executives telling me that sir looking after your idea prepaid usuage we have decided to gve u a post paid number wht a stupid thing it is.

              I wish you to take a serioous action to that customer care girl i.e. Sherya

              so that i can get the cleasr status of my number b'coz of which it is closed.

              I again make a sincier request to plz make my number activated and also i have not yet received my bill so plzzzzzzz make the bill delivered so that i can c my call details.

              Its a unvaluable service & unsatisfaction of customer.
              Yesterday i purchased a New postpaid connections & Mr Aditya Mob. No([protected]) from Idea had word with me. Yes, Yesterday his way of talking is great & i told him that i need one sepecific no which is [protected].& he agreed that we can provide this no.
              So i submit the document with 250rs as a security money.
              Now he is not picking up my call & morning someone told that sir this no we can not provide you.
              Why all these thing is happening.
              Please make a note that if you cant provide this no than why the hell he has promised to customer.
              If you have like this customer than i think ths year IDEA is on TOP for receiving the complaint.

                There was a lot of problem using idea cellullar postpaid number [protected] ...such as not recieving incoming sms n calls from any other networks ...irrespective of my mails to the idea consumer cell... No initiative was taken from any of the concerned authorities to resolve my problem n even they were unable to satisfy me with their conversation and problem remains as it is ....

                People serving this service outlet r totally dumb n totally lack from product knowledge and training .

                If this is the situaton then i believe "AN IDEA CAN NEVER CHANGE UR LIFE "


                IF anything could br done then please help me resolve my issue .

                There was a lot of problem using idea cellular postpaid number [protected]...such as credit limit. I have already submitted an application for increase of credit limit one is in September2010 & second one is in November 2010. But no such action will be taken from any of the concerned authorities to resolve my problem. I have also tried to resolve it through Customer care call centre but no one pick up my call. As well as my conference service has been stopped right now.

                If this is the situation then i believe "AN IDEA CAN NEVER CHANGE UR LIFE "


                IF anything could br done then please help me resolve my issue.

                    Idea prepaid connection — no feedback on complaints

                    I have been using Idea prepaid connection from past 1 and a half year and facing the network and other problems from long time. There is no feedback or action taken by the customer care centre even after repeated complaints. The problems with the connection are increasing day by day, with a new pooping up on every second consecutive day especially from past 2 weeks. Initially there was sum problem with msgs, i wasnt able to send and receive. Idea people took 3-4 days to solve the issue and said it was a temporary problem, . then again i faced problems regarding mms configurations. after calling many times i was told i have to configure it manually. After the configurations, i started facing GPRS PROBLEM. the problem was under process and i faced one more problem..got more than 120 msgs from idea regarding its various service centres in a short time span of 2 hours. the network problem is increasing day by day..with no signals many times..n then there is s problem of congestion due to which my calls are getting dropped even when i call at customer care centre. i m even getting cross connection problem. i have already wasted lots of money becoz of call getting dropped in between. even the staff at the centre is bad..you have to call atleast 5-6 times for a complaint to get regeister and most of executives keep transferring call to their tls..

                    As there was no proper feedback from Idea, i am forced to raise the issues. Hope sumbdy will help me to get thru these dumb people

                      on 31st dec 2010 i had been get recharged for rs 100 and it has come rs.89 and some paise after rechargint i have changed my sim without any where calling and today on 3 jan 2011 i again have inserted my idea sim and checked balance there is rs.28 my no. is [protected] and there is no services in my mob. ihave checked by calling on no.53533 told by costomer care they also have checked from computers no servicess have applied then also my 61rs has been detuct. give back my 61rs or i will break the idea sim and i will never use again idea and i will tell to every one that very bad sim is idea

                        I am a user of Idea prepaid from 3 years and yesterday I got a call from Majestic Infotech Services, which is a post paid connection provider for Idea, that They are giving a post paid plan on my existing number([protected]) and one post paid connection free with this connection and they have charged two month's rental from me and my ID documents. they told me that the connection will be activated in 5 hours but the number in not yet activated and when I'm calling idea customer care, they are saying that they have not received any request on my number to convert it to a postpaid connection.
                        I want my money back and these kind of fraud people should get a taste of justice.

On[protected] I have recharged my mobile with a 35 Rs. full talktime coupon and i got the talktime of Rs. 35. Even though I have not activated any service, but the amount of Rs. 30 has been deducted from my account. When I talked to the Customer care, he told me that I have activated a VAS service called "PRE TONE". But I have not activated it. I want the IDEA company to refund my Rs. 30 in my account.

                          Same thing happened with me. Mobile no. is [protected]. I have recharged my mobile with a Rs. 50-. Even though I have not activated any service, but the amount of Rs. 30 has been deducted from my account. There was an SMS from Idea cellular that some service has been activated successfully, even though i have asked for any service. I have not activated it. I want the IDEA company to refund my Rs. 30 in my account.

                            I'm a user of Idea cellular; I was a postpaid customer of idea cellular. Later on, I changed my number to prepaid, and submitted my documents.

                            But they send me a message that my verification is negative and submit new documents. It already happens with me 3 times. I had already submitted my documents all the three times. Now again they are asking for documents. I had time constraints. So, can't go for the same again and again.

                            When my number was postpaid then never it was happen with me. Why now they are disturbing me? Please help me.

                                Dear Sirs,

                                I am life time customer with Idea, since 03/06/2006. For this they had charged me Rs 1100/- and informed that incoming calls will never be stalled, only outgoing calls will be stalled if there is no credit.

                                (1) When I returned from abroad on 27/08/2010, I had no connection.

                                (2) I visited Idea office on 28/08/2010 and I was informed to leave phone with some one in India for making call once in a month. Simply rediculous.

                                (3) I sent emails to all concerned as per their website. Their customer care replied for use in 6 months, but it is disconnected before 6 months.

                                (4) They argue of SMS and voice mail before disconnection, which a person in abroad can never receive.

                                (5) Why a customer need to waste interest free Rs 1100/- (new customers need not pay any thing).

                                (6) Their website states use in 3 months for new customers only.

                                (7) Further reply from their customer care states for reactivation I should appraoch as new customer. That is possible with other service providers, also.

                                (8) What about Rs 1100 + running coupon + mental harassment and financial loss due to nonavailability of connection?

                                I have idea prepaid sim card.I had submitted all my document .After two month they had disconnect my service.I did't received any call from company..When i talk to customer care, they told me that when company has tried to call you for re-verification and they were not able to contact you, Now what is my fault..my phone is 24 hour on.if they are not able to contact me then it is not fare that they should disconnect my service...What to do...If coverage is not proper and not able to contact they its company fault

                                They ask me to submit Document again...I ask him to call me again for reverification but they are not ready for it...

                                  I am pratik anand using this idea prepaid connection number [protected] from last more than 2 yrs.but i didnt face any problem that time .but now on 29th aug 2010 i recharged my a/c with a top up of Rs.11 where the scheme is that i will get 300 sms per day national/local jst first 2 sms will b chargd 1 rs/sms.bt it was 30th or 31st aug when i sended jst 273 sms n balance gt deducted by rs. 30-35.n when i called the cust service they were gvng me wrong information .they sd i have sended 340/350 sms bt in my sent box it was clearly showing me 273 sms.and same thing happen wd me again now.yesterday that means on 2nd september i sended 253 sms that means under my limit of 300 free sms.bt again i had a balance of Rs.52.bt when later on evening yesterday when i chekd the balance it was 0 balance.so when i called the customer service she told me you sended out 320 or 330 sumthing sms thatswhy ur account got 0 balance.and she didnt had the exact ans for my question.and i dnt knw with how many people same thing is going on.

                                  Idea prepaid connection — Deduction of balance

                                  I am fed up of Idea mobile connection. Any time any amount is deducted without any notice. Even i tried to contact the customer care regarding this. He said you have activated two schemes to which i've never subscribed. Even then i tried to unsubscribe that schemes, but again my balance got deducted by 40 rs. and customer executive is saying its due to msg pack charges which i never subscribed to.
                                  I dont knw wat to do?

                                  Idea Cellular — Incorrect deduction of prepaid balance

                                  I m using idea services and my prepaid mobile number is [protected]. I had activated gprs net 20 plan on 10 jan 2010. I have asked for deactivation of gprs on 27 jan 2010. I received the confirmation on 28 jan 2010 (SR No.[protected]. But my balance amount keep on deducting by 20 Rs. daily uptil 9 feb 2010. I was calling customer care almost daily for refund but not getting any clear response. Today i got the refund of only Rs.60 whereas it should be Rs. 240. So i would like to get Rs.180 more but they are refusing.

                                  PRE-PAID CONNECTION-IDEA — INCORRECT DEDUCTION

                                  This is to bring to your kind notice that I am a subscriber of the Idea cellular connection. My phone number is [protected]

                                  I have a prepaid connection. Since Last six-seven month on dated[protected] I received a SMS “Congrates you have renewed for mobilE Investor Monthly pack for just Rs. 50/- to 28 day” and they have deducted Rs. 50 from my credit balance

                                  In this regard on 26th I have called to 12345 and register a complaint that I have never send a massage our nore I have called for the scheme to activate.

                                  One executive (name I d’nt hear) told me that u have requested through sms therefore we have activated the scheme, I have denied for these type of sms also in my cell’s sent item there is note a single massage to idea, I have objected to him and told that I will discontinue the connection if my money (Rs. 50) note refunded by the company. That he told me that u can register a complaint for incorrect deduction of balance

                                  I have told him please register.

                                  After half-n-hour I have received a sms from IZ-SIVR “ dear customer, your concern for incorrect deduction is under process and would be actioned within 12 hour 0 min sr no. 1-[protected] thank you.”

                                  Surprisingly today I have know the fact that in india the mobile operators are in huge competition and under pressure from rate war and therefore they have started to cheating customers like me and making a huge money without any cost

                                  In example

                                  The idea has 5 crore subscriber base even 10% of the subscriber are note aware about these type of fraud than they can easily earn Rs. 25-50 crore annually

                                  Idea Prepaid — Wrong balance deduction

                                  I am using idea prepaid number, my balance has been deducted for the service which was not requested neither accepted. Tomorrow 10 Rs were deducted from my account and got a message saying thanks for activating sms pack. I was surprised because I never request for any pack, I called up customer care and they told me that you heard a voice recorded message and accepted the offer but I never did that, I just cut such calls but never respond.

                                  This can be called a case of fraud and I want to take it further because even in feb, 2010, they just started deducting 5 Rs/ Day for some service which was never requested from me, it was already 16 days when I came to know this and it took 3 days to stop that service, huge loss. Again they had same answer that you accepted that offer, ....

                                  IDEA is big name and they are spoiling it by such acts, shame on them. I don't know why these idea people are playing with the customers, all day they disturb us unnecessary and deducts money all of a sudden. I am fed up of all that. Please suggest the forum on which I can raise these issues. Please send an email to me for further questions/suggestions.

                                  sir my num is [protected] (U.K).my servises is stopped without any information for your side. then i am calling to customer care your emplyee was said me my id was rejected at 02/11/2010. i will summited my id proof 10/11/2010. then i will cheked my balance. my balance was deducted. i will caompailned to customer care. he was told me your balance return wthin 24 hr. after 01 hr i will cheked my remaing balance was also deducted.

                                  hello sir,i am an idea mobile service user.sir i have 57 Rs. balance yesterday,now i have only 17 Rs and i dint make many calls.and also i tried to complaint in customer care but they never pick my call.it is not happen first time,many times they do this thing,its my request to do some thing against them

                                  I am rahul singh using this idea prepaid connection number [protected] last 1 years i have also idea prepaid connection no [protected] last 7-8 years i didn't face any problem in my no. last years buy new no [protected] this no using by my mom but last 3 months i m faceing lot of problem every 3-4 days u deducted 20 rs when i called the cust service he said sir u r using gprs. my mom didn't know how to use gprs. and after that cust service said i deactived the sevice i will reture u balance sometime got balance some time not. i have called many times to cust care i m very fed up your service, now i m going to airtel

                                  i m using a idea sim card and i have activated the net pack of RS 14.... but when i
                                  used the internet my balance of RS 50 has been deducted... i have reported several
                                  complaint to them but they are lying to me by giving several reasons...... they t0old me that your problem will be solved in the given time but thier given time is passed
                                  and my problem havewnt been solved........ then again i have made a complaint but its of no use... they again told me same thing but then also i havent got my balance back... please go through it....

                                  i want to register a complaint against idea cellular pvt ltd....

                                      This is about the poor serive of customer care of IDEA.
                                      I have called many times on Idea Helpline, When I opt for talking with Customer Care Executive, My call is transferred to Executive, which costs me 50P per 3 minutes. But IDEA Executives are so much Lazy and run away from work. after picking up the call the immediately put me on hold. and I have been charged everytime. Its not a matter of 50p or Rs1. But this is the low standard of service. They got new trick to earn money. Without talking to executive i have been charged many times. Either Its their new revenue policy or low standard executives, which do not want to work. I dont till then this will continue. This is why I am waiting for MNP implementation.

                                      The Customer Care in Goa is just Horrible, the Customer Care Executive (So Called) dont have any manners, no way of talking to the customers, then why do they call themselves the customer Care Executives?They listen to the whole problem and then just disconnect the calls, so the next time u call u get another CCE on line and so on till at last your patience is exhsauted.And now a new technic started is they put through a computersised message which says to send a message to Care.Hope you would look into the matter urgently as like me they could be a number of customers who may have disconnected the Services only cause of this.

                                      Dear Sir / Madam,

                                      I inform you that your customer excutives are very lazzy fellow, if we will call customer care nos. ([protected]) they are not talking properly and not giving correct information.

                                      Today i have called Customer care excutive regarding 20 paise plan activation purpose.

                                      First time i spoken with Mr.Karthik around 11.00 am (23.03.2009) he has given information i.e. 20 paise offer can activated for 5 nos. for monthly rental is Rs. 15/- per no.,
                                      afterwards i have activated 20 paise plan for One no. it has activated and Rs.15/- is deducted in my balance.

                                      Second time i spoken with Mr. Madan around 3.45 p.m (23.03.2009) he has given information i.e. 20 paise offer can activated for 5 nos. for monthly rental is Rs. 15/- for all 5 nos. and he assure that it is correct whatever Mr. Karthik told that is wrong information, and he told you can activate all 5 nos. for Rs.15/- only chargable to you .

                                      But i concern with my friends they told for one no. activation charge is Rs.15/- only, i didnot activate all 5 nos.

                                      Third time i spoken with Executive his name i forgotten around 4.10 p.m (23.03.2009) he told whatever Mr. Madan told that is wrong inforamation he is new person he doesn't know the plan and all, and he asked sorry for the inconvenience.

                                      Kindly suggest me to whom i have to contact for correct information.

                                      This is not first time problem every time we are facing same problem, in our office we are using around 100 idea connection all are suffering from your customer executives.

                                      Also, i have to inform you that your network problem is very worst if we have to contact any person urgent it is not possible.

                                      Any how i am changing my sim connection to other network. I hope you will take necessary action for this if you will not take any action in future you will loose lot of customer.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        My Father had bought me an Idea iCard sim ([protected]) in 2006. At the time we had given a copy of of his Election Commission of India issued Identity Card, a copy of ration card and a photo along with the application form. Currently they are asking for a new set of identity proofs as they have somehow damaged the old ones and also they have barred all outgoing from the sim. No clear explanation is given for such an action. As this is a 4 year old sim all my friends&relatives have this number for contact. My plea is that even if I give a new set of proofs what surety is there that they won't loos it again and ask for a new set next time. I kindly request for an immediate reaction or an advice on how to go about further?
