Dear Sir,

I had paid my total bill for the idea cellular in the month of May and sent a letter for the same for disconnection. But i still get bills for the same and the bill includes only the monthly rental which can be seen from the bill. There are no call charges made. Inspite of sending so many mails and letters , i still keep getting calls from collection people asking me to pay the bill.. they say that i am liable to pay the rental as they have not received the disconnection letter..

I am totally harassed by IDEA CELLULAR SERVICE PROVIDER. how can they expect me to pay the bill which i havent used too.. its a mistake on there part that they have not disconnected the line. They can easily reverse the charges as its only the monthly rental and nothing else. But still they keep harassing us want us to pay the bill..

    My number is[protected]
    I have made a recharge on 11 November 2010 of Rs 40 pack for full talk time as i received the message from idea company itself that if we get a recharge of Rs 40 we will be giving the full talk time but yet I havnt received even a single rupee and infact the shop keeper (Mr Talk-Hanuman Chowk-Bombat Bazaar)try to misguide me as he himself talk to the customer care people and they told them that the offer is just for diwali and after diwali the talk time will be Rs 34 on a recharge of Rs 40..than why I am still receiving the same message till now ie on 12 November 2010 that get a recharge of Rs 40 and you will be giving Rs 40..

    Kindly look into the matter and refund the Rs 40 to my account.

    Also I am not getting any information of the balance of sms left as I used to get the STD sms voucher recharge even the customer care executives are not listening to us properly and used to disconnect our call as they are causing a serious problem, also those calls are chargable, so itz my request took my matter into consideration.

    Idea Prepaid — not received talk time

    i have recharged my IDEA PRE PAID mobile no [protected]. through ICICI-Netbanking. The recharge amount was Rs. 25/-. the amount was deducted from my net-banking dedit card as well. & REF. NO. is[protected] But i have not received the talktime as yet. pl do the needful

      I am facing lot o[censored]n wanted deductions being made from Idea prepaid bcoz on 11.11.10 recharged for Rs 200 full talk time and same day my balance was Rs 221 after recharging and today found the balance is Rs 19.92 for which i dint called much but nearly it was deducted Rs 200/- without my notice, pl give us the clarification and reiumburse deducted amount to my account.

      I got a call on 14th December, 2012 from Idea number [protected] at 2.7pm, which was ignored by me. Then at 3.23pm a got a message from IZideaCMS saying that Rs.15 have been deducted for downloading which was not done by me. So I immediately called the customer care. Mr.Pralhad and had interaction with him. He said that all the details will be available after 4hours. From my side it was okay fine. So then I called at 8.23pm. There was no one to talk with me. Again I called after 1 minute still everybody were busy. So I called on 53500 there was nothing. So again I made a call at 9pm still there was nobody. Then finally I called 4444 number the Executive where least bothered to answer me. So again today I made a call at 9.57am had interaction with Swati. She didn't transfer my call to Senior Executive. Infact my phone was kept though I was ready to wait. So I called up again at 10.4am the person didn't tell his name. But he transferred my call to Senior Executive. He was not ready to give me the information saying that we can't give it. I said I have 'RIGHT TO INFORMATION (RTI)' he just kept down my phone. Sir please can I get the correct information as early as possible. Hoping to get Co-operation from you.

        Iam Rudra Varma. I have activated sms pack on 11 th oct 2010 which has 1 month validity. I have activated sms pack again on 5 th nov 2010 which also has 1 month validity and I got a msg saying my recharge is confirmed. Even though I was being charged for sms from 11 th nov 2010. When I called their customer care executive they say that as my first sms pack is already active when I activated the second pack, my first pack cannot be over ridden or my money will be refunded. I will have to recharge again. They say that my money is gone. They didnt give me any message when I was recharging. They dont even have it in their website.They sent me confirmation of the recharge now they say my money is gone it wont be refunded

          we would like to share the horrible experience that we had and this shows how our personal data is being misused by the people of the said service provider

          would like to provide you with all the details as regards to blocking of our idea phone number [protected].

          on monday evening when my partner called me the call suddenly failed. than when we met in some time no calls were being made or being received. so when we called idea care on 12345, they said that WE called and informed idea people that we have lost our mobile and our services are to be blocked. which is absolutely absurd/ incorrect. infact at that time we were having mobile number in our hand.

          when we informed idea care representative that our mobile is not lost and that we have not made any complaints they provided us with a mobile number from where idea people received the call for blocking our services, which was [protected]. when we called that number i.e. [protected] some person by the name of Viresh picked up the phone and claimed that he works for IDEA CELLULAR company.

          he informed us that IDEA CELLULAR were directed by the POLICE CRIME branch people to block the services of our mobile since some one was misusing our mobile number for threatening.

          when we persuaded them that we have not lost our mobile, viresh (or whatever his name is) said that he will try to re-establish our mobile services. which he did. than the same night i.e. 4:15 early morning (tuesday), we receive a phone call from a person saying that he is POLICE INSPECTOR M.N.PATEL from the crime branch and that some one was misusing our mobile number for threatening and hence the crime branch tapped our phone calls. this police inspector also provided his mobile number +91 [protected].
          he said that after verifying our talks over the phone they found us clean and clear, so there is no problem in resuming our mobile services.

          here the points to be considered are:
          1) the mobile number of viresh (so called idea person) is using the services of vodafone. if he is employee of idea than why is he using vodafone services?
          2) how did they have all our personal details as in our residence phone numbers.
          3) the police inspector when we called him yesterday i.e. wednesday evening says that he is in delhi and will be back only after 1 week.
          4) police say that they were tapping our phone calls and if they found us clean and clear why did they block our services in the first place. if everything is normal than they should not have blocked our services.
          5) how can some one misuse our mobile number when our phone was working absolutely fine.

          what i think is that there is some conspiracy coz we had informed idea people that we are travelling out of country for about 8 days so they were aware that we are not in country and they have access to all our personal details, hence the misuse of our mobile phone number.

          so this is a sincere request to all the IDEA CELLULAR mobile subscribers to please think twice before providing any of our personal details to this service provider.

          just imagine the mental trauma that we have undergone in the past couple of days. imagine when someone calls at 4 in the morning on your residence land line phone number and informs that they are calling from the Crime Branch. this happened coz the call was received by my old father and he was really very tensed.

            Hi i am manish my mobile no is [protected] i am using idea no from last 8 month and from past few month regularly my money deducted from my mobile duo value added services i havent activated any kind of value added services i have complaint several time on idea customer care but no response from there i dont know how to deactivate this services and i dont want to use more this services and i am fade of with the services of idea customer care.
            can you sugest me how can i deactivate this services and i dont want to use idea again in my life it`s totally bakwas they activate value added services by default and deduct money regularly please help me out..!!!
            custmor care is pathetic. No any executive keep full knowledge about any idea services. Idea have some big techonical problem that is why value added service are automatic updated without information.

              today on date 10/nov/2010, i received message from idea (prepaid services) for submit documents again. they sent me message my already submitted documents are not as per DOT.

              if my submitted documents are not as per DOT why you put on my connection form last 2 years?

              Same is the case with me. I received similar message on 26/Nov/2010 and when I called customer care, they said that it's nationwide audit going on. And we need to submit the documents again.

              They asked:
              - Colour photo
              - Photo Id
              - Address Proof
              - Written application stating that I have submitted the documents

              Moreover, they said if you don't submit the documents within two days, your outgoing calls will be banned.

              I told them that I have already submitted the documents, why should I do this again? If you have lost them, you should manage for collection at my place. They said that this is not their fault and it's DoT which is doing this.
              i got the same msg while callig my freind..the automatic lady was speaking n d phone sudenly before my dial no was connected.. This is really annoying.. :/

              Idea — document again and again

              Hi,
              I have Idea connection with no [protected]. It is more than 3 year old connection. Before it I also submitted document two times. Now it giving message when I am making call that please submits your document. I don’t know why they asking for document again and again. Why Idea not keep document Record’s?
              We customer don’t have time for submit document again and again.

              I am Deepak S. I had much worse experience with Idea than the ones listed here.
              Idea Cellular's services have gone from bad to worse.

              In last two months, I have submitted my documents to idea local office four times for the same number and today my number is in

              deactivated state asking for resubmission of documents.

              I am using two idea numbers. Two months back one of my number was deactivated saying that my docs are not in line with DOT

              requirements. They did send me SMS requesting for docs... but without any pror intimation one fine day my number was deactivated.

              At that time, I submitted docs for both of my numbers and I was told that my number would be activated within 72 hrs. When I contacted

              Idea customer care after 3 days since my number was still in deactivated state, I was told that Idea needs 72 working hours to activate

              the number. After a week when I contacted customer care, they did not had any information about my docs and requested me to visit the

              office where I submitted my docs. I revisited the local office almost after 8 days to check the status and found that my application was

              rejected with a reason that one of my xerox copy was not displaying ome information. I resubmitted another set of docs. After repeated

              follow-ups ...and revisiting local office after 8 days, I saw that my application was again sent back. Neither local office nor the idea

              customer care was able to tell the reason of rejecting the docs. I resubmitted application and docs for third time and after repeated follow

              -ups my number was finally activated.

              Now ... on Friday 31st Dec ... I received SMS for submitting docs again within 72 hrs saying that my applicaion is incomplete. I went to

              Idea local office to check what is incomplete on 1st Jan ... but office was closed on 1st and 2 nd Jan. On 3rd Jan I contacted local office

              and they were not aware about why SMS is sent again and requested me to resubmit docs. I resubmitted docs on 4th Jan. But my

              number is now deactivated again with a reason of not submitting docs :-( Also note that Idea has deactivated the number within 72 clock

              hours (3 days) out of which they were closed for 2 days ... i.e. only 1 day window is given to customer to react to SMS.

              If any of the Idea cellular's responsible person is reading this and is inclined towords resolving my problem, he can contact me on my mail id [protected]@yahoo.com

              Idea services has gone from worse to pathotic.
              Here also they have disconnected incoming outgoing without any information. Now I think better to change the service provider .

                Hi Sir,

                I am working in Sapient Corporation Pvt. Ltd. 2 months back an Idea representative name Ashish has come to my gurgaon office (Every Friday he has visited). I have purchased 3 idea connection in a single go in corporate scheme. Tariff as per Ashish was:

                Advance rental = 700 per connection for 2 yrs
                CUG Calls = Unlimited free
                Local Call = 50p/min
                STD Call = 60p/min
                first 200min local calls every month free
                100 national and local sms free/month
                Incoming & Outgoing Roaming Call = 70p/min

                now when all the 3 connection were activated i had recieved a call from their department for confirming your plan and i found 2 out of the above were wrong. They were

                CUG call = 500/month free
                Incoming roaming calls = 1 rs/min
                Outgping calls = 1.5 rs/min

                I was shocked hearing this, i have immediately logged the complaint #98869968 for the false promise. The complained was raised once i have the confirmation from the Idea about the plan. When i heard the false commitment from Idea representative, i immediately stop the payment amount rs - 2100.
                Same matter has been discussed for more than a week and finally i decided to deactivate all the connection permanently.
                Complaint No. for deactivating the connection permanently are[protected] , 99044131 , 99044118
                Connection was closed permanently on 8th September at 1:27pm, Customer Executive was - Latika.

                Now still i am getting the idea bill and recently i got the Summon from an Idea Advocate.

                Please advise what will i do. I will be highly appreciate if someone can help me in pulling out from the telecommunication company like Idea. They are such a big name but squeezing the people like anything.

                I will never ever think of purchasing / buying anything from Birla group, they are such a big loot company in the market.

                I will never suggest anyone to have a deal with Birla group.

                I will also try to stop visiting the Idea representative in Sapient Corporation, atleast i can prevent such instances further in our office.

                  I have lost my cellphone with sim card of idea cellular ltd of no [protected]. When i blocked my sim card company told me that for new sim i have to go to nearest idea office for new sim. Then on next day i received the call from no [protected] saying that go to nearest dealer to collect the new sim. When visited the dealer shankar agencies, he is giving hell of excuses. One he ask me to visit his place everytime or he will not give details. second, when visited he asked me to give cell no to check and inform me regarding availability of sim, which i never received, after giving call from my side, he told me he is out of stock. when visited second time he has told me to come on 08/11/2010 as the issuance of duplicate sim is closed due to diwali season. third time when visited idea dealer, he again told me that person at nearest idea office is on leave will not able to activate the sim. when asked me to issue a sim now and activate later, he said cant be done. and told me to visit everytime if i want a sim with same no.
                  and every day i receive the call from idea office to collect the sim.

                  Can i receive the my sim?

                    i am currently in roaming and when i connect my idea netsetter the network registration gets failed. It worked for the first 2 days after that it did'nt work. As well as the speed which they provide is extremely low as to what they say to be 236 kbps. i had seen a demo of the netsetter which was a lot faster as compared to the actual speed this is a cheating by these people.

                    I have recharged my net setter on30.09.2009, but it is not working and the speed o[censored]p load and down load is showing ZERO.

                        AFTER CONTACT IDEA CUSTAMOR CARE THEY R SAYS IT IS ALSO SPECIAL DAY
                        99% CUSTOMERS ARE NOT KNOW ABOUT THEM
                        ATLEAST THEY DONOT ANY MESSAGE BEFORE THAT DAY

                          i am a customer of idea cellular ltd , i just wand an enquirer about my connection but the customer care executives response not well, they disconnected call with out my permission , i call 3 times in 458 and 2 times in 198 complement help desk ,they respondent not well ,they didn't give correct clarification of my questions, they avoid me and disconnected my call without my permission , 458 customer care number will be charging 50ps /every 3sec, this charges will be deducted from my account in 3 times, this time customer care executive respond not will , please check it and clarifying the problem from customer care executive side , please check this complaint and solve this problem and give a good customer service



                          it not a compliant it's request from all customers please........... solve the problem

                          Idea Prepaid — no response from the customer helpdesk

                          My msg was being charged 1Re/msg though i have 150 msg free per day... I tried calling the customer care from 6AM but no response. This is really a ridiculous thing.

                          All other customer care services starts from morning 6am... I expect the same kind of privilaged service here too.

                          Am very much dissatisfied with your service
                          i am also suffering from same sort of problem & i am also highly dissatisfied from the idea services, help desk & their packs & other services. i feel cheated

                          Idea Cellular Ltd — No response from the Company side

                          Dear Sir/ MAdam,

                          I had purchased the DATA Card from IDea Out Let from Bhairavnath Road, MAninagar , Ahmedanad from Shivalaya Communications.

                          They had assured me for the good services of he broadbend connections, after using the same i did not got any of the services as they had said to me , i had called again & agan but no body had responded & they said that call to the companies toll free no. that to i had called to the company but the companies executives are saying that talk to the persons from where you had purchased the products.

                          Now please say me what to do further....................

                            I had taken an IDEA sim under prepaid plan 3 months back.But from last 2 months unwanted /unauthorised deductions are being carried out by your service provider.I had reported the matter to the customer care several times and requested him to block the unregistered facility ,but no action has been taken so far and my sim balance is getting drained out for no use.please check the matter and refund back my unauthorised deductins ,if possible. If the same incidence happens in future then I will stop this facility from IDEA communication ,

                              This is regarding my idea sim card which has been barred since so many days. This is not for the first time they hav stopped the services. We hav been regularly using this phone and hav also submitted the required details regarding the same two times but to no avail. First time they stopped the services saying you hav not attended the enquiry call, we thought may be due to busy shcedule it has been missed so we submitted the details. But after 15 od days again they stopped the services without prior notice and this time again the same reason. When we called the CC Cell they told us that ur details are negative. I am afraid that despite having our details negative they connected the phone for 15 day or so. I dont know what is the criteria of checking the validity of a consumer's details but what i surely know is that they r sitting there to harrass us and not to help. how can they bar any services without prior intimtion and if they hav got such authority then they should tell us what exactly is the problem with the details or rather their representative should visit the place to confirm the same.I request you to pls look into the matter ASAP B'coz already due to this i had suffered a big loss in my business.

                              Idea SIM Card — Deductoin of balance

                              I have a Idea My Gang simcard . Call charge from my mobile to any other local idea mobile after 11pm is 10p per minute. From 5th of feb call charges are going so high & compaints are not handling poiperly by callcentre. I wish to take strong reactoin against them.

                                I have bought the Idea sim numbered [protected] by name Amol Ashok Chaudhari by submitting all the required documents to retailer,the retailer sent the documents to distributor "GAURI ENTERPRISES,JALGAON". The distributor kept the documents ideal without processing it due to which my activated SIM is not in service since last 3 days. although visited the distributor several time he did not respond me well. So i am facing a lot of problem since last 3 days and experincing a third class treatment by the IDEA mobile service provider because i can not connect with the customer care also as my card services are made out of service by them. So do the needful as fast as possible.

                                  I want to complain against idea mobile which is the chief sponsor and main telecom provider of KBC (kaun banega crorepathi programme) which gives less than 10 % chance to non hindi speaking region(see KBC rules & regulations. which is highly discriminatory and regional biased). This company is launching idea pass as a trap to lure the gullible mobile providers without making known the 'hidden rules' of KBC which is a money spinning mission of SONY television. IMAGINE THE REVENUE OF KBC WHICH AMOUNTS TO THOUSANDS OF CRORES IN REVENUE WHICH IS THE BIGGEST REVENUE BY MEANS OF CALLS AT PREMIUM RATES.

                                    I am Shahul and my Idea prepaid number is [protected], i was used gprs daily rental plan(Rs.5) past 20days, and i was deactivate that on 3rd april and i received deactivate message, but i was charged rs 5 for upto april 7, i was complaint customer care on 6th april and registered complaint he told the incorrect deduction will be reversed with in 48th hours but i was not received my money till now, i was complaint customer care for 5 times but they told only one answer that was please wait 24 hours ur problem will be solved, but my problem not solved till now pls check my account and please refund my incorrect deduction.

                                      Just horrible , Bought the card in 60 rupees and got 24 Rs talktime. Then from their Idea website for Gujarat according to the table recharged online with Rs 41 . Acccording to the table given in their website I was to get 35.17 balance the rest cut in taxes and charges . I did not get any talktime. When I called 198 they did not seem to want to atttend to my complaint and asked me to call 4444 (paid customer service). When I did so I was told that Rs 41 recharge means that I have changed my plan to 50 paise per minute outgoing from the default plan of 1 paise per second. When I told them that I recharged according to the information given on their website they kept repeating that "sir you have got the benefit of plan change ",the above sentence was repeated continuously and i had to hang up. In these 5 days I have sent emails describing my complaint and attachment of their web page with the recharge details etc to Investor griveance , apellate at least 5 times but have not received any reply except the auto generated acknowledgement.. Whenever I have tried to register complain they have refused to do so saying that " your payment is recorded and you have received the benefit of plan change". Whn I explain that it was due to their misleading table which was not updated and the said table specifically shows that on the recharge of Rs 41 , Rs 35.17 would be the balance credited ,it falls upon deaf years , Then I have to hang up as they again start telling me of the so called benefits and that their system shows that the balance has been credited and that they cannot do anything and that they would not even take the complaint..All this is at my expense (paid customer helpline)Please dont go for Idea .It is the worst

                                        i had purchased two sim cards from royal telecom,shop 26,crystal plaza,sector 7,kharghar-new mumbai,who is authorised dealer of idea cellular mobile phones.
                                        while one sim card was activated properly the second simcard was not activated,dealer did not bother about it.when i called after 2 days that simcard still not activated he said 2-3 times switch-off phone remove sim card,re-insert and switch-on again, dial 2222 then simcard will be activated.I done as directed by him, the sim got activated but balance became Rs.zero.
                                        New type of cheating by dealer he has siphoned-off my entire balance and made it zero, to make matters worse his worker prithvi talking rudely to a lady also-never ever deal with them

                                        iam sarvjeet singh c/o mannat mobiles sector 12 p.g.i. chandigarh.i run a mobiles cum electronic shop in p.g.i.i want to draw urs kind attention before send it to media that urs distributor issue me a demo number [protected] under the illegal name of tushar communication sector 46 chandigarh. i hav started working with urs distributor in 2009. in january 2010 i hav make several activation in which i every time FRC rs. 330. at that time idea provides rs. 40 incentive who make first recharge with 330. i make several activation but no incentive is send by either idea or distributor. i every time told dse to clear why the incentive is not comming but he always tell lie. he told a mail is forward by distributor and urs incentive is credited earlier.but the main thing is that he know he gave me the demo with false address and false counter name.in june 2010 the company directly transfer incentive to my demo. from till date i told dse mr. gorav and distributor mr ish bajaj under the name of bajaj communication to pay my dues but every time he told me urs request is pending and they will give it to me shortly.last month i know my demo is running under name of tushar communication then i make call to urs asm mr vikas and other senior mr rajan but they dont give me any satisfactory answer.i ask about my activation incentives and they told company has no record o[censored]rs activation.then i struck how stupid person company recruit.i draw urs kind attention towards fake sims which is provided by urs asm with the media of dse.i hav others counter activated sims which proof is submitted by urs asm and dse for increase of activations.if i gave sims to any persons then if the sims misuse in that case who is responsible.
                                        sir so my humble request to u make a legal and necessary action against mr. vikas, dse mr. gorav and urs distributor. and pay my incentive .

                                        other wise i hav take a strict leagal action against these person and i mail all matter to media police and telecom regulatory department to make necessary action against these activated sims.
