Dear Sir/ Mam

I have been using this number from the last 2years and i have never been defaulter to them ..this is the first time that due to some very serious problem i am unable to make the payment to them and i requested them that please give me a time for 1 more day that is 15th July and they barred my incoming also due to which i suffered a lot and i felt very embarrassing in front of my customer ..they are a such a third class company that they even dnt know how to treat their valuable customer and what kind of privileged to give them ...please take some serious action against them ...

I am a prepaid customer of idea cellular , but i am suffering from DND facility activation which I had applied on 7-April-2010 request no- 1-[protected] after than I had raised 2 complaints to customer care on 17-jun-2010 & 4-july-2010 having request no 1-[protected] & 1-[protected] respectively.
But nothing moves-on every time they told me "we will resolve your complaint with in 77 hours"
Still DND not activated and Im fade-up with daily promotion SMS & Call receiving.

Once they activated some VAS service on my number without my permission taken and amoivingunt debit from my balance , when i told to idea customer care, he refuses to accept the complaint but when i force him to give the resolution, he had deactivate the services but not return my money in my account.

Request you to please look the above matter seriously and provide resolution for same

There is a contest being run by idea and we receive messages to play it.
Once u start playing it they(idea) deduct Rs. 5/- per day from ur balance.
This message comes on 55456340.
There is one more contest going on in which u have to call the number 557552.
Calling this number also costs money from ur balance.
I played this game in the last season and in this monsoon it's going on.
There is also a charge of Rs. 5/- per day.
There should be number on which i[censored] don't want to continue playing this game u should call and discontinue.
There is one more thing to be thought upon- The authenticity of this contest.

Is this contest an authentic one or merely a means to take out money fron ur pocket.
Can Idea prove it's authenticity as I have invested a good amount of balance for playing this game.

08/07/10 i m activated dialer tone just calling to my friend copying song
the song name is "ondu hudugi noddhe kano" from megha male film but when i am calling to my number its playing idea default song...two time i am complaint to customer care but no reply and first lady said that wait for 24hours than second time dated 12/07/10,6pm some person talking with me he tell that i ill complaint our technical departments afer that u can get a result..what is use of copying the dialer tone song..

MY mobile number is [protected] i have buy new prepared sim before 10 days & i have rechrge 200 RS onward yesterday night my sim is not working please replay fast & start my SIM working.

I have register a complaint for the excess international roaming charges & after the verification Idea's representative register a complaint & the compliant no is:[protected], dated: 11/05/2010. Now they are saying that the charges debit to your account are correct & it was mistake of thier representative who had book the complaint.

I would like to request you to look into this matter.

For the past week i have been going through a lot of grief ,all thanks to my idea network.They have been wrongly charging me for my local msgs. Inspite of having an sms pack I was charged isd for local msgs and not once not twice but 4 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which i did bring to the notice of the idea executives, After a lot of perseverance they resolved the issue only once and for the other 3 times just ignored which has resulted in this action from my side. more so over they have also blocked my number from the helpline as non of the helplines answer my calls irrespective of the numerous times i've tried!!!! they take prepaid costumers for granted as they feel that we can't really do anything to catch hold of them but thanks to the forum for coming into existence!!!! its not the money i'm bothered about as its a mire Rs 20 but its the unjust done to me without any provocation from my side.i would reguest you to look into this matter and teach them a lesson.

They wrongly charged the ISD calls which is not connected at the other end. I registered the complaint at Idea Customer Care center, grievance cell and appelate authority. I have a complaint with the ISD service of your mobile service. I had called the customer care center and also had sent some mails regarding this complaint. Still there is no resolution. Today, 6th of July 2010 is the last date of my bill payment. If you can clear this complaint, I can make the payment on time. Otherwise I will forward this complaint to next level ( Consumer Court / TRAI), till I get a positive resolution. Please go through the chain mails mentioned under.

I have been using your post paid mobile service ([protected]) for the past one year.
I have a dispute regarding the latest bill generated on 21st June 2010. My complaint is regarding the ISD calls. I made calls to the mobile no. [protected], in Saudi Arabia on 2nd and 4th June 2010, at 5.18 PM and 5.38 PM respectively. Both the calls were not connected and it was only ringing. Along with the ringing the timer of my handset showed the call duration, hence I disconnected the call. At the same time I called the customer care executive and informed the details regarding this. As per the communication I had with your customer care executive, there is no problem with your network and it may be the problem with the other mobile networks and there is no provision to waive the disputed amount (Rs.22/-). As a customer of Idea cellular Ltd., why should I bother the complaint of other networks? Is it a good way to charge the unanswered calls, whether it is ISD or STD or Local? I need a clear clarification regarding this. It is not the case of payment of Rs.22/- (dispute amount), but this should not be continued in future. I have clearly communicated to your customer care executive that I will not pay my latest bill amount without getting the waiver of Rs.22/- and this kind of mistake must not happen in future.

Please process my complaint at the earliest.

Hi,

I am Arun Aggarwal one of prepaid customer( Idea cellular) having the number [protected], very much dissatisfied with Idea connection. Since last 6 odd months without subscribing to your additional facilities( hello tunes,Voice chat, Vaishno devi yatrs pack, Masti pack, Jokes alert, Cricket alert, etc) on mobile, it is being automatically activated in my mobile and get renewed every month. For this you are deducting the charges from my prepaid balance without any authority.

Today, on 8th of july, i have words with one of your floor supervisor named " Imran Khan", who have denied for all the deductions made. And refused to refund the amount already deducted.

This type of response and service is not at all expected from such a renowned company.

Please consider the case and refund all those amount which are deducted by you without being authorised from my account. Otherwise i have to take further action against this unfair service.

Idea has a toll free no. 12345 when a customer calls this no. the customer is diverted to customer care no. for the state. when you call the concerned no. they ask you to call at 12345. You can go round in circles s many times as you have the patience to do so.

On sending a mail you are asked to visit idea gallery, when you get n touch with. the gallery, they ask you to call customer care.

My problem of sudden deactivation remains uresolved. I had recharged my idea netsetter on 9th June 2010 through Credit card but on accessing the netsetter i got the error code 613. Ever since i called the toll free no. i am going round in circles.

In this connection, it is requested to supply the detail of calls, time of calls, No. of SMS sent, date of start of services like premium services charges, Diellar Tone monthly service, Idea GPRS monthly rent, Idea monthly rend and what is the rate of these services and method of calculation of charges and details of our request for start of these services.

It is not out of place to mention here that I never subscribed for these services, even my calls during above said period was less than the 500 minutes and SMS less then 200 that was free within the limit of rent of Rs. 100/- as reported by your employee of Amritsar Unit Sh. Gurpreet Singh.
Keeping in view the above, send the bill after necessary correct so that payment may be made. Otherwise, I may be compelled to resort to the District Consumer Forum, Amrtsar.

i am using idea net setter...they are cheating people by giving different type advertisement..initially i paid 1999 for hand set..after that one month unlimited usage i top up by 695..but the *top up is activated after 12 hour..they said the speed should be256 kbps.but getting speed is only 2 to 15 kbps with full tower....after two weeks i got a message that you are crossing 5 gb..so the net speed will reduces....its cheating....And the customer officers are unable to answers, So please take necessary action.

Dear Sir,

I have got two Idea no. [protected] and [protected] under Corporate Plan activated on 08.06.2010 in the evening.

But on 10.06.2010, outgoing of both of my above numbers was barred and I was informed to contact the Idea Relationship Centre or Customer Care. I have talked to Customer Care on 10.06.2010 at about 08.20 PM to know the reason for barring outgoing calls of these numbers and I was informed that my official address has not been confirmed. As it is the duty of Idea to verify the address and then to activate the numbers, but my numbers have been activated before verification, so I was not a defaulter in any case.

I have submitted all the required proofs while getting these numbers and the numbers were disconnected because of Idea deputed person for delay in verification.

I have provided every information to Idea through emails and SMS as and when required, but Idea has still not inform me about the disconnection of my numbers and harrasing me by sending/saying to pay the bill.

I have contacted Idea so many time, but now the Idea Customer Care is not responding me back.

I recd a confirmation from Iz 51932 that my request has been recd by them &a unique communication ID of registrationof request is being sent shortly, but nothing happend again on 3rd july they deducted charges for dialor tone once agained I logged request for deactvating dialor similar reply &probably simlar action I donot know when they will deactivate this forced service &make client free from getting punished..

My self Sainath Shetty I holding 1 Idea Coop rate acct my no is [protected] , I have two complaint 1) About your customer care agent Nilesh who have spoken with me on 4th July 2010 11:19:17 PM i have called in customer care for active my miss call alter facility process he had reply me i want to do your account verification i have given all my detail but afterward he told me you have contact your relationship manager for the same , i said who [censored] my relationship manager will do he reply me if you abuse i have to disconnect the call and as soon as he told he disconnected my call . Again i have called to customer care and my luck was that i have connected with the same person Ni;esh i ask him why you have disconnected my call he said i have abuse him that is reason why he did that but i was not without any reason he did that. so can u suggest me if i am carrying a coop rate card then i have to visit my relation manager every time now then. If it is like that then please disconnect my card right now right away i don't want to continue the idea service any more.
2) Why my miss call alter faculty disconnected with out any information can please tell and that is also on 1 June 2010 and also you have charge me for the same when i have spoken with one of your team leader for the same he told me that i have should call to customer care within a week of my disconnected my service so when have come to know that my service is haven been disconnected i have call them then i have come know that my service was disconnected on 1 June . Now you cant check why my service have disonnected then where should i have complaint please suggest or else i have to disconnected my line right now right away

I am a customer of Idea Cellular prepaid Service.

The company have deduct Rs. 5/- daily from my balance last three days. I have not activated any idea value added service. When I have call customer care they told me to send sms to deactivate this service. I have send sms "help" and send it to 155223. In reply their sms they send mant keywords and again tell me to send another sms as "DEACT" with service name. In this sms my service is not listed.
So Please tell me how I deactivate SONE KI BARSAAT & MONSOON BONANZA CHALLENGE.
