This is with reference to mobile no. [protected]. I just did an online recharge



of Rs 49 on this no at 1:14 pm today with HDFC bank, I got an acknowledgment



sms from Idea also saying" Thankyou for your payment of Rs. 49..."





Still not been updated to my account, while it has been





debited from the bank . Balance is still saying ZERO!!!!!!!!. WHY??????????????????????????.



I am attaching a snapshot of the bank statement.



When I call on 198, there is a vernacular uneducated woman who just doesn't want



to help. She says ''yeh complaint ka number hai!'' I said I want to complain only na, but she says



''main aapki koi sahaayta nahin kar sakti!!!'' SO FRUSTRATING!!!!



She tells me to call on 12345 chargeable call , when I don't have

balance. I told her I would have called there only if I had balance. Please

throw her out.!!!!!!!!!





I called from a Vodafone no on [protected], was on the line again for 15 minutes,



trying to explain the situation to a perfectly uneducated man at IDEA, who tells me that Rs 49 is for a scheme.



I said when already my plan is a 1 paise per second plan, why would I recharge for a scheme which is already there??



Why does IDEA come up with such fraudulent and ambiguous schemes and messages??



I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE REIMBURSE MY RS 49 INTO MY ACCOUNT AS TALKTIME AT THE EARLIEST!!!



Your call center executives are a disgrace to Abhishekh bacchan and Aditya Birla.



Please arrange a call back to me regarding the same at the earliest.

    i am from kerala we are not able to open gmail since 16th october after noon kindly please take an action to use gmail

      Idea — lost my sim card

      sir i mr manish ghai registaring this complaint so that my idea sim which i have lost cannot be missused please block my sim card idea no that is registared on my name that is manish ghai i have given voters id photo passport size at time of registration of my no activation of my no to a sales agent of idea and purchased sim it was lost after 10 days after use the sim mobile no was [protected] ........please block it so that it cant be missused.

          My Name is Anand Prajapati. I bought new Idea Cellular Sim-card on 26th August Evening. I recharged of 95rs scheme which said that they would cut 1 rs per day and then I get 200sms for whole day. I sent 8 sms on 28th August morning 11:00am. They Charged me 1.50rs per sms. And When I called on customer service number, her customer care employee named Sarita - ID number 706654 put me on hold for 10mins/Charged 2 rupees for that and then replied that I don`t have update call me after 3hours. I kindly request you to state your attention to my complain. Please. I am very fade up with this kind of service.

            I took a postpaid connection from idea... i lost my sim in the month of july but due to busy schedule i was unable to stop the services of that number and get the new sim issued. I had the balance payment of rs 1900 to pay to idea. i started getting calls from the recovery team (from csc in mayapuri) from this number [protected] by a girl named REEMA, she used to abuse and give threats on call. i told her ten times to send somebody at my home to collect the payment but she refused, twice i had word with her manager also to send somebody to collect the payment but she also denied. Me and my husband we both work in Noida with Star News and due to our hectic schedule we were unable to go to the centre and make the payment. But the way in which these people interacted with us gave me an impression that IDEA has started recruiting people from SLUM who are uneducated and unethical. if IDEA has this type of lookup for his customer i think it is not at all a good organisation to work with or to take services from. i would like to highlight this issue coz there are scenarios when people are unable to make the payment even though they have money.

            I would be obliged if idea and csc take any action against that girl REEMA and her immediate boss. if nothing would be done on this i would launch a complaint in police against these people.

              I've been following with Idea Cellular since last 2 years to very poor network coverage (very frequent call drops, breaking voice, poor data connectivity) on my home area - Mahatma Society, Kothrud, Pune-38. But no fruitful outcome. Twice their network engineers visited my home and said that they will slightly change the antenna angle...but absolutely nothing happened. No improvements whatsoever. 10+ escalations on email, several complaints their customer support (198) - still no improvement. Since last two years they've been saying that new tower is coming up in the area in 3-4 months..but nothing has happened in two years.

              Also, tried their solutions like external antenna for my handset...but no use. I've 3 Idea connections - 3 different types of handset - but all face the same problem. Can't switch the carrier now as it will change our numbers. Just waiting for number portability to come in effect.

              IDEA had good coverage 5 years back...but now, it's no more.
              Thats true.

              Idea Cellular Networks — Poor Coverage

              No proper networks coming at Bhosle nagar,(Near Kasturi kunj Appt). many call droping problem Also i complained in cust. Care but there is no responce.

                    On my home telephone today as on 26th August 2010 I received lots of missed calls from an idea number [protected]. I thought some frineds may be playing. I kept quiet. Then it started coming continuously as it was really irritating for the whole family atmosphere. I thought to inform you before informing to cyber cell. I tried to call back and the automatic reply receiving is "The services to this number are temporarily on hold". My query is that if a number is on hold by Idea, then how can it be used by that person? You know now at my home we have kept the receiver out from the cradle of the phone. What to do? It is really a pain for us now? Could you please help us regarding this matter?

                      I have been getting messages from unknown numbers lately.I used to get many calls from guys in thanjavor for about a month. when i asked them who they were.he said his name was karthick.he was keep on calling and disturbing me to have friendship with him.i was totally disturbed by this.

                      after that i ignored those calls and mesagges.he used to call nearly 35 times a day.then he stopped messaging me frequently.Now i started getting messages from some new numbers those are really bad and indecent messages ([protected])
                      they sending some sexual messages.
                      there were many numbers from which i got so wrong messges but i failed to note those numbers except this.

                      i dono about the operator.

                      everytime when i get like thses messages from those unknown messages that guy named karthick sends me some messages at the same time ([protected])

                      t's bothering me. Getting messages from these unknown men annoys and worries me. I simply don't understand where they get my numbers from.

                      I've got no idea who these people are. It's like I have no privacy when I get messages from unknown numbers pretty oft in my mobile.

                        Dear Sir, I am in possession of idea mobile sim card number [protected] on my name Thomas Paul.
                        On 14 Aug 2010 Saturday my sim card was not working suddenly showing sim card registration failed.
                        On 16 Aug Monday I approached our retail seller of Idea in Chotty, Mundakkayam and requested for a duplicate sim for the same number. He immediately contacted with Mundakkayam agent and I was advised to submit my identity proof and rupees 110/- duplication. On the same day one lady called on my
                        land phone and said that the duplicate will get after two days. Then after 3 days I had contacted that lady
                        for the sim card and she did not give a proper reply or the sim card is not received till date. What kind of service is providing by this idea mobile service company? I had to take another connection, but a number of my friends having my old number, probably they have been calling me.

                        what shall I do ?

                          LEGAL NOTICE CLAIMING OUTSTANDING DUES AFTER 5 MONTHS OF SURRENDERING THE POST-PAID CONNECTION

                          I had one idea post-paid connection no.[protected] and after using this no for a couple of months, i surrendered it on 30th March'10 at the local outlet of idea in durgapur. Address of the said office is GC9 ADDA, Shopping Plot, City Centre, Durgapur-16. I was given a payment receipt and the receipt no. was 953. I was told that everything was settled and this no. has got disconnected.

                          We are using IDEA NET SETTER internet service since last three months, many times we have faced service interruption for long duration even many days , While complained to IDEA Customer care they never give any response or any solution ? We refill our data card for one month 699 rs but we lost our many days service due to service interruption, Will IDEA give us refund for this interruption or extend our validity ?

                              I m a fresher and finding job in telecommunication sector recently i receive a call from idea cellular orissa ,a lady name ambika call me and told me that my CV is short listed for an interview and she told me to send my updated resume to ([protected]@ideaadityabirlagroup.com,[protected]@ideaadityabirlagroup.com) but she calls me on sunday i had a doubt that in which company HR will even works on sunday.then i search on linkedin is their any ambika exist or not.Yes it exist by ambika is a male person who is SDQ head of idea orissa circle.then i found his number on idea orignal website and call on that number, i found that the lady calls me is a fake person.So kandly Beware of it.I also found a comsumer complaint agaist her on net submitted by Sameer pattnaik .

                                Idea Cellular — SIM BARRING

                                I recived a msg regarding my no [protected] to submit my documents within 24 hrs on 23rd Nov & my services were barred within 16 hrs.In response to msg, i have submitted my documents (24 Nov,1 Dec) twice. After several visits to idea showroom,emails,calls request to gravience cell, a new SIM was issued to me on 5th dec and told it will activate within 24 hrs.I made lots of calls to idea gravience cell even yesterday i called 5 times but every time new excuse or promise.Most harrasing thing is they promiss they will call me back and no single call from gravience.
                                I am harrased by idea.how can they stop my services withi 16 hrs without any reason and unable to resume in 20 days.
                                I want some strict action against idea and gravience cell.I am sure documents submitted for issuing the SIM in Dec 09 were complete and no msg or call recieved earlier regarding this.

                                  Consumers be aware. When you sign up for an Idea up for an Idea SMS Pack for Rs. 34 with 400 messages. They will silenly deduct Rs. 34 without informing you.
                                  I, Jayanta Ghosh one of the subscriber ([protected]) of Idea since March 2010, want to draw your kind attention regarding deduction of Balance from my account since 31 December 2010. Earlier I have activated the service on November 2010, but later on November itself i have deactivated the service. But after some days I saw the service has again activated automatically without prior notification by SMS. After seeing all this I haven't recharge any amount in my a/c, but on 13th December 2010 i have recharged Rs 35/-. Again from, 14th December onwards the GPRS service of Rs 5/- is deducting from my a/c daily even after repeated intimation or complain to your Customer Care from that day onwards. But on 16th i have talked with your Senior Customer Care executive regarding this matter & he told me I would get all my balance refund from 14th onwards which has been deducted from 14th onwards & my GPRS service will be deactivated by 6 pm on 16th December itself. Instead of deactivating the service you have deducted Rs 10/- today itself. That means you still haven't deactivated the service. Then I mailed you and after some days the service has been deactivated and I get back my balance. The Service Request number has been assigned for this correspondence is 1-[protected]. But now from 31st December'2010 the deduction is again activated and my a/c balance is reducing daily. I am very much fed up of this service and also by your customer service. This is the worse experience I have ever experienced from any service provider.

                                  So it is my earnest request to check what fault has occurred in the system. So please kindly look into matter so that the service will immediately deactivate from now onwards & all the amounts which has been deducted from my balance would be reimbursed back to my balance. I will be highly obliged if you could take any necessary action against this.

Im using [protected] before 8 or 9 months but unfortunatly before 5 or 10 days u r deactivated my incomming or outgoing calls reason document not submitted but I m submitted my document 2 or 3 times. again i m going to submit my document to idea custumer care center but ur executive said that this number not activated coz of in this number the document are different but i m using this number before 8 or 9 months or i m purchase from d shop jawahar nagar so plz inquiry this situation or solve it as soon as possible. this number very important for me coz all my contact have this number so solve it. im very thankful to you.I hope u consider my problem.

                                      I have been using Idea (earstwhile Spice) no since 2007.The redressal of concerns/complaints is extremely poor .Recently ,After taking all clarifications about functioning of Blackberry ,I did activated the services on my no .Many times ,I contacted Blackberry helpline[protected] for using the internet on my lap top through Blackberry as modem .They continuously advised the settings but in vain .Finally ,the customer care mail informed that such service was not available . Even after that ,Blackberry helpline tried to support & sent me the settings .
                                      After my hit & trial ,I was able to connect but not able to browse.On[protected],again Blackberry helpline registered ny request vide Comm Nio[protected] & same has been resolved on[protected].Surprisingly , on calling the helpline , the limited connectivity also has been withdrawan & I am told that this service is not available .

                                      I think this is sheer harrassment to the customer & even the complete information is also not available .The Company has charged me for the services without providing the services .

                                      Idea Cellular — GPRS not a feature of Navigator phone

                                      On 8th Nov, 2008, I walked into one of the Idea Outlets in Hyderabad to inquire about the GPRS services provided by Idea. The agent gave all the information and suggested me to take a connection. I informed the agent that I would be using the connection only for GPRS since I already have 2 other numbers to fulfil my needs. I clearly informed the agent that I would not use the Idea connection for any other purpose. The agent showed all his cinema, that all the sales agents do and forced me to take a postpaid connection. Informed the agent clearly that I do not need a postpaid connection since my other 2 numbers are postpaid numbers already(however, the service provider is Vodafone). I clearly informed the agent that I need a prepaid number because it is pretty cheaper in prepaid than in postpaid. I gave my cell phone model, Nokia 6210 Navigator, and asked him if it is compatible with the GPRS provided by Idea. The agent did some research and after 10 got back to me and it will work. The agent promised me that he will activate the number in 10 mins and activate GPRS in 12 hrs and req. me to call customer care after 12 hrs and confirm the details. On his word, I took a prepaid connection immediately by paying Rs.400.
                                      The next morning when I called the customer care, the cust ser. agent said that it is not at all an Idea number and the number could be either from a diff network or a diff region and hung up abruptly. I was on hold for over 5 mins and I spoke with an actual person for not even 20 secs.
                                      The next day I contacted the agent in the Local outlet, he said it is activated and the cust care people have to activate it from their end. Called back cust care again, and this time the agent said, the number is not registered yet and will have to wait for another 24 hrs.
                                      And, this went on for over a week. Finally on 22nd Nov, 2008, I called back customer care again. The agent said, he will send the settings to my email and req me to call *234#1# and that will activate GPRS on my number. It did not work. I called them back immediately, the next agent askeed me to call *234#304# and assured me that GPRS will be activated in 24 hrs. told the agent that the call is not even completed. He said server is down and will have to wait another 12 to 24 hrs. Tried again several time. no go.
                                      The same crap went on and on.
                                      On, 25th one of the said he will register a complaint on my behalf and gave me the communication ID 59890871 and promised me that it will be activated in 24 hrs. Waited for 48 hrs and then, called back again. Each time I called they me a new communication ID and new number to dial to activate the GPRS.
                                      This went on till today, 9th of Dec 2008. I called back the customer service and they said,

                                      NOKIA 6210 NAVIGATOR IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH GPRS AND IT DOES NOT HAVE AN OPTION FOR GPRS at all.

                                      That seemed to be funny, and I asked for an escalation. The team leader came up said the same thing. I told him that I have been using GPRS in the same phone. He put me on hold for 5 mins and got back and said, he contacted Nokia Priority and checked online and still says the same thing.

                                      THIS IS ONE OF THE INSTANCES WITH IDEA.

                                      Earlier, I had Idea postpaid. I applied for 5 postpaid number at the same time and out of which only 1 number was activated in 1 month. And, the best excuse is that only 1 number can be approved in a span of 1 month.
                                      I cancelled all the numbers but they did not return my activation charges for any of the numbers when they did not actually did not activate the numbers. I did escalate the matter to the manager, but nothing has been done. I also sent a mail to their complaint box. This happened an year ago, but things did not change till date. Rather, they are getting worse.

                                      When this is the service they provide, no wonder they cannot sustain the market for any longer.

                                      MY REQUEST TO ALL... NEVER GO FOR IDEA OR AIRTEL... Others are better.

                                      i am using idea last 2years it was prepaid after that i have decided to covert it to postpaid, i was in need of blackberry feature in which it required a postpaid connection . My blackberry plan is 299 per/mt in which gprs will not work. By knowing this plan i have activated this feature on my idea number [protected] . Now i am Getting problem the billing done by IDEA Cellular LTD, idea mobile services is charging me gprs using charges . which is not possible when a customer is having a blackberry 299 per/mt plan . I have conformed again from blackberry customer care about this plan they have replied same, that on this plan gprs will not work . I am in problem i have made so many calls to idea customer care 12345 they move me forward by saying that call 198 to make complain, when i have called 198 they moved me forward to call 4666 reguarding gprs, when i have call 4666 they moved me to idea local office because they are not able to generate my bill detail . I have made my complain to idea local office, but my complain was closed by telling this charges are correct . I am Too Much Mently disturbed what To Do? please help me
