Dear Sir,

I Yashwant Kumar your customer from last eight years. I m currently using three Idea No. i.e [protected], [protected] and [protected]. On 21st of Jan I have activated Net20 plan on [protected] around 11.30AM but it get activated at 5:30 PM on the same day and Rs.-20 had deducted from my balance. Problem is that I was not getting proper internet speed it was too poor around 1 to 2 KBPS. I called to your customer care they told me to do some settings I have done all these setting and told to disconnect the phone and try it will work fine. I did the same thing but not got improved speed again I called to your customer care on 22nd regarding the same they told me to try on another PC or another location so that I formatted my system and tried again and also move to another place and plug the connection on another PC but nothing improved again I called to your customer care on 23rd evening to deactivate the service but they told me please wait I have registered your problem and will resolve ASAP please don’t deactivate the plan or i[censored] want to do then it will be deactivated on Monday because it will only deactivated in Working days. I also agree with him and wait for some time but nothing happened. Again on 24th evening around 10 PM I called to your customer care and deactivated the service they told me that it will be deactivated within 24 hours maximum but it will deactivated by 25th Jan. After disconnecting the call I received a SMS Like “your request for MMS/PRS deactivation is under processed and would be action within 12 Hours 0 Min SR No.[protected] Thank You” at 10:52 PM on 24th Jan. But my account balance continues deducted on 25th Jan but I was agree because your customer care executive told me that it will deactivated only in working days so that it will deactivate on 25th Jan and also mention the same thing in your SMS. Due to safety point of view I called your customer care around 4 PM on 25th Jan regarding the same that I did not received any SMS like “service has been deactivated” but they told me that It has been already stopped do not worry no charges will be deducted from your balance and you will also receive deactivation SMS shortly. But on 26th Jan I got SMS Like “ Dear Customer’ your request for GPRS deactivation processed successfully. SR No.[protected] Thank You” at 12:50 PM and again Rs. 20/- has been deducted from my balance. I want to ask you that I was unable to use internet but still I was paying Rs.20/ per day due to compromising nature but after it has been deducted on 26th I want to refund my all 6 day rental and also want to charge harassment charged due to your service and customer care poor response. I don't want to say but I am unable to stop my self to say "How pathetic service you are providing?" Second things is that your customer care executive always told that it will not deactivate on non working day but dear can u tell me 26th Jan is working day in your organization ? You only know that how to delay the things to deactivate the service so that you can charge more day for the same service. I called to your customer care again regarding the same but he does not have manures to talk the customer and he was very arrogant nature without asking any thing he putted the phone off. This is the story of your service and Customer care response.

Finally I want to refund only my six day rental that is Rs.-120 in my account because I got rusted from your service and customer care response for that I can contact or do any thing that was possible for me to refund the same and harassment charges whatever it would be. So kindly look into matter and refund my balance ASAP.
I Nirmal Choudhary, Uses [protected]. on 15 feb 2010 your customer care called to me and told about net 20 plan. i listen but not telling to him to activate this plan but after some time i check the balance but it deducted 20 Rs./ Then I Call You CC. She Gives a sms no to deactivate but still it returns the message server is under maintainence then how can i deactivate it. Daily It Deduct 20 Rs. If You Don't Do Anything Then Finally I Leave Your Idea No. And In Future I Tell To Every One To Not Take Any Idea No. Thanks.

    Respected Sir,

    This is the complaint i have raised in consumercourt.in and consumercompliant.in regarding aditya birla group idea cellular services

    Idea cellular services which is an awful mobile service provider to the customer and i recharged it online through my kvb debit card and then the amount 100rs got debited from account but then the recharge successfully done through internet but the sms came to phone stating that thanks for online recharge service but the amount was not added to my balance and then when i called to the allegations dept their cell number is switched off and the nodal officer phone is out of coverage area.

    I registered complaint here and then in consumercourt.in and in consumercomplaint.in no response from the cust support executives where they said that they cant do anything is that a customer service and the person whom i spoke there was three members.the first one placed me on hold for a long time and then after using f words and then asked him for supervisor 12 times and then too he didnt response so i would like to get rid of aditya birla group product here again due to the AWFUL service they provided i have spoken to a service support person daniel who is really a stupid who gave me irresponsible answer.

    My 100rs is gone and it is not recharged in my phone they said it would take 12 hours whereas i have done the same set of things which is very same with vodafone for 505rs which is very good service where they sent email and the amount got credited within the next minute here in my phone.one idea will change your life no it makes you beggar by stealing your money from your bank account dont use their online recharge service friends and dont get any idea cellular service again where you can escape from these issues

    Please i would like to get my 100 rs back and the compensation for which they provided frustrated service to a customer

    say good bye to this company it is a new company where it should reside on customer for its welfare but then nothing was done good in my aspect even the escalations....

    Hope so as a citizen of india i get the compensation as per the law and my money back

    worst service ever.only earns profit and no perfect service
    Samething similar happened to me on a new sim card. they deducted rs. 5 daily without any gprs usage. When I called customer care, they told my mobile is connected 2-3 times per day. But I never used my mobile to connect gprs or to make any calls... it was kept in my cupboard.
    Later on I charged rs. 97 to activate gprs for 1 month and charged for 555. I got message immediately says Idea Fresh for 1 month is activated. After 1-2 hrs I used internet and my balance is reduced from 555. I called customer care and they told it will be activated after 4 hours. Again I used internet and again they deducted the charge from talk time. Again I called customer care and another guy told it will be activated by 11pm...

        Hi,

        I applied for the Aditya Birla Group, Idea Cellular Net Setter Internet Connection in the 1st week of January, 2010. My Netsetter ID for the same is [protected].

        The sales team promised me a speed of 256kbps as per their Billing Plan "Net Setter 399". I had specifically asked the Sales Executive to check the feasibility at my home, however he said that it wasn't necessary as the Idea network is very good.

        However once I received the Data Card & Login Credentials after the initial Subscription Payment of Rs. 2500 & checked the connection I was very disappointed at the speed that I was actually getting. It was less than 50kbps as against the promised 256kbps. It takes at least 30 minutes to open any webpage.

        I have been trying to follow up on the same with Idea Customer Service, however they are just beating around the bush & the only answer I am getting is that my complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department. My Complaint No. with them is[protected].

        Kindly assist on the same as the internet speed is very annoying & as I have been a victim of false promises from the Idea Cellular Sales Team as well as their Customer Service Team.

        basically ur speeed depends on which area ur using the internet.
        In met or in big citiesro cities then speed is high. otherwise it's pathetic.

          after enabling the DND service on the mobile([protected]) but still getting the marketing calls.. What is the use of DND service? Is there a way getting rid of these marketing calls?

          my name is dr rashmi hirve, me and my husband both r using idea numbers in delhi. all d time we keep getting promotional calls and sms from idea cellular, we r very very disturbed due to this, we made complaint in idea customer care and we were told about d DO NOT DISTURB service, we hv registered for it but still we r getting these unwanted calls and sms, on enquiry we came to find that this service will be activated after 45 days, n this is provided by TRAI, against telemarketors making unwanted calls, but waht to do when IDEA company itself is making these unwanted calls and sending unwanted sms. is there no protection against it? is there any plan which IDEA has for its customers so that they r spared from this unwanted disturbance and intrusion?

          I use to receive more than half Dozen unwanted calls in my cell no. [protected] from your reputed esteemed cellular service every day, countless service mesages and SMS make me disturbed every day. It is completely unfair and leads to customer dissatisfaction.
          Please do not disturb us (I and my family including two small kids, who are in school) by calling at odd hours/frequently. We get disturbed, our precious time is wasted, our attention is unnecessarily diverted from main issues. There are lot of other important things to be done. . Please do the needful urgently and try to minimise/restrict these calls and SMSs.

          For the past six months I have been getting calls from Idea regarding any requirements of a new connection, I have been consistently refusing and have told them in case I need a new number I will call them myself.

          This has now become very irritating, they have not taken my number off their list and I am very annoyed as they have no sense of time, they call me anytime from 9 am to 10 pm.

            Hi,

            I am an Idea Cellular subscriber residing in Delhi with Mobile Number [protected].My connection is in the name of RATNA BHATTACHARYYA.

            On 21st of Jan, I started to receive some SMS's which were actually deducting my a/c balance.I called up customer services and they have informed that I got 3 promotions activated.

            1.Vaishno Devi Pack 2.Combo Alert Pack 3.Dating Pack

            1st 2 are costing me Rs.2/sms & the 3rd one is costing me Rs1/sms.I

            I asked them to stop this services with immediate effect and they told me I should not be receiving any texts and will not cost me a fortune.

            Soon after that I received those texts again and it costed me as well.So far it has taken away Rs.15 from my a/c balance.

            When I called up customer services, I was informed that they are still activated.I asked them to disconnect the services they told me it would be done.I called again to confirm it and they have hung up on me which was completely preposterous when it comes to providing excellent customer services.

            I had a word with Ravindra Kumar Singh (Floor Support Supervisor) and he guaranteed me that it should be stopped by 25 Jan.But even though it gets stopped I already lost my money.I anticipate that the total loss could be somewhere around Rs.30 so far.Apart from that the mental agony I have gone through it was completely out of proportion.

            I hope that as a customer I was not completely been played around.I expect that if you can take some steps against these kind o[censored]nreliable business practices.

                Today 22.01.2010 I connected net setter at some 11.00 night & net setter is connected on EDGE mode but after some 11.45 night I seen it change over to GPRS mode. How it changes automatically & speed is very dlow when it connected to GPRS mode. Please check it fix it.

                  A customer care executive of Idea Cellular Limited committed the mobile no.[protected] from a list of available nos. on 9 January 2010. He promised me to activate the no. the same day. I did the payment but the no. was not activated on my SIM card.

                  I registered a complaint at the customer care of Idea Cellular Limited on 13 January 2010 . The customer care executives refused to activate the no.[protected].

                  On 16 January 2010, a customer care executive informed me that they would activate my no. [protected] on my SIM card after activating another no. chosen by them for two hours with a disconnection of 5 minutes. It was not done likewise.

                  I feel cheated. I am shocked at the attitude of the customer care executives of Idea Cellular Limited. I wish the no. [protected] committed to me be activated on my SIM card. If the company cannot activate my no.[protected] then it should apologize for the grievance and also refund the amount that i paid.

                    Dear Sir/madam
                    I have a prepaid connection of IDEA Cellular Limited (Mobile number [protected] and SIM number 8991048-[protected].I had recharged my mobile on 14th January 2010 of RS 50.00 and message card of RS 35.00 after that on 16th January 2010 the service provider start deducting the balance, when I complain this matter on 17th Jan in idea customer care they had said i had send the request for NET20PLAN of there service but i never had send such kind of plan request.On complaining they had registered the complain and given the REFERENCE NO.[protected]. Three day after they stopped the Deduction of balance but not willing refund the deducted amount in the balance.Now they had again start deducting RS 1.00 PER DAY under the new scheme which I had not sent any request.Till date(i.e 20/01/2010) they had deducted my RS 61.00 .

                      Hello sir,

                      I have purchased the IDEA sim in 2007 (mobile no. [protected]) and I have activated my ISD just after.. with deposit of Rs.1000.
                      This amount is later adjusted to my phone bill. Now after 2 year i got the bill amount with added Rs. 1000 for ISD deposit reason. I have paid my bill but not paid ISD amount because I have paid it before...

                      Now due to this reason company has blocked my all outgoing calls including local outgoing calls as I have paid for the local calls.

                      How the company can block my outgoing calls before to informing me? As i have paid my all previous bill payments regularly now this time i have not paid my ISD deposit then they should block only my ISD service, why they have blocked my local outgoing service as i have paid the bill. I need reason and also want to activate my outgoing soon.

                      My another question is that why company waited for 2 years for the ISD deposic bill.. and now the just send the bill to me and blocked the service... how the hell they are doing like this. I have only one cell with IDEA sim and they are doing just basted things.

                      I was the Gold Customer of IDEA Cellular for more than 2 and ½ Years.
                      5 months ago I cancelled my association with IDEA and paid the all Out standing bill Amount.
                      The Issue is, I paid Rs.500 as deposit amount. Idea Cellular people told to me that deposit amount will be refund once the cancellation of account.
                      Till the date I was not received any amount from Idea Cellular Pune.

                        I M USING IDEA NUMBER SINCE MORE THAN 2 YEAR . THIS MONTH DUE TO SOME PROBLEM I COULD NOT SUBMIT MY BILL IN TIME WHICH WAS JUST 250 RS. AND MY CREDIT LIMIT IS 2000 .                           Sir,
                          I bought a new post paid connectio and paid 500-/ security. Even after verification of my address when I was not able to make a call, I approached customer care. They told me that my new number is already activated and there might be problems with my SIM card. I have to take new SIM card and pay Rs 50.
                          My complain is, why should I pay 50 rs when I got faulty SIM card on the first hand. Had it been the case that I caused damage to card then I would have paid 50 rs. Further more if I pay 50 rs for new SIM card, what is the gauranty that new SIM card will not be faulty again.

                            THIS IS REGARDING IDEA CELLULAR MOBILE BILLS.

                            I WAS HAVING AN IDEA KERALA POSTPAID CONNECTION (NUMBER:[protected],now the number is being used by someone else as Idea sold it)I TOOK THE CONNECTION 1year back and was using just normally and my credit limit was Rs1000/-.That time Idea came up with its internet GPRS service.So i activated that.The usage plan was on time basis.The GPRS activation was just to check mail while i use to travel.I used it and paid bills as usual for around 2-3months.One day i just checked my balance as if all i was planning to go to Bangalore for a work,so thought like will pay the whole bill and go to avoid disconnection.I was shocked to hear that my bill amount was around Rs 5077/-.You all just think a person is having only a credit limit of 1000 and the bill amount is 5k.When i asked the customer care executive about that she was wordless and said sorry.And the bill amount was of great GPRS.I had notice the time and date of our conversation with the customer care executive.And the most shocking thing is Idea the great cellular service dint even alerted me about the bill usage either through sms or any calls.That also they can check.I have my permanent Vodafone number in Bangalore of Vodafone and they use to alert each and every time if i cross my credit limit..And am a good customer of Vodafone Bangalore i have a credit limit of Rs 10,000/- too.The way Idea cellular cheating the people is not fair at all.There are lots of other illiterate peoples too who getting trapped in this sort of Ideas billing.I am attaching the bill of Idea in that clearly mentioned the Credit Limit is Rs:1000 and Bill amount is 5077.A cellular company is suppose to alert their customer if the bill amount cross the credit limit and bar all outgoing services...And thats what idea failed to do and hope so they are still contiuing with the same method to cheat poor customers and make them fool.

                            Later i got legal papers and all from Idea to pay the amount.And i informed them that this is the problem and i should know what they can do.They called me and said to pay the half amount and settle the case.It was actually a Fraud call from Idea office only pretending as Ideas Lawyer.I paid the half amount and am having the bill with me.After some months they again sent legal notice.When i went and said that i paid half as your lawyer told,they said that there is no such lawyer and also if i dont pay soon they will sent arrest warrant.I am not going to leave this people.And i don't care spending 20k for a 2k pending bill to bring out Ideas dark face..I have got both way...through Media and as well Legally..People don't get cheated like this ....

                              Respected Sir,

                              I am a customer of IDEA CELLULAR for last 8 yrs. bearing postpaid mobile connection no. [protected].
                              The company is known for adopting unreasonable tactics to churn out money from their old customers with the support of whom, they have achieved the present heights.
                              My problem is
                              1- The company has illegally restricted my OUTGOING for last 10 days.
                              2- They had asked to pay the bill even before I get the actual bill even though mine is a postpaid connection.
                              3- The amount they were asking is actually an amount which is not at all compliant with the actual usage but IT IS BECAUSE OF THEIR ILLEGAL, UNREASONABLE & UNWARRANTED ACCOUNTING POLICIES which I am sure will be revealed as soon as I get the bill for the current month.
                              4- As per the customer care executive of the company, my usage exceeded 90% of my credit limit of Rs. 1000/- but my actual usage was well below Rs. 50/-
                              5- They threatened me that if that amount is not paid, They will STOP MY OUTGOING FACILITY AND HAVE STOPPED IT FOR LAST 10 DAYS NOW.
                              6- I explained them that my actual usage is not even Rs. 50/- and the amount you are telling is only because of your FAULTY & UNREASONABLE ACCOUNTING POLICIES/TACTICS. But to avail.
                              7- I started geting SMS & Phone calls AT ODD HOURS from the company to pay up the bills EVEN BEFORE THE END OF BILLING CYCLE OTHERWISE I WILL HAVE TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES.
                              8- So I paid part amount just to bring down my GHOST DUES below their precribed 90%of the credit limit.
                              9- By paying that amount, I BROUGHT DOWN MY GHOST BILL AMOUNT BELOW 90% OF MY CREDITI LIMIT.
                              10- Even then I was getting COMPUTER GENERATED PHONE CALLS FROM THE SYSTEM OF THE COMPANY TO PAY UP THE AMOUNT which acording to me was taken care of by me.
                              11- Ultimately, they stopped my "out going" illegally & unreasonably.

                              12- THE HEIGHT IS...
                              Now that when my billing cycle is over..
                              I am getting a bill for (-)RS.29/-....!
                              YES SIR.. THE BILL I RECEIVED IS FOR MINUS 29 RUPEES.. THAT MEANS THAT COMPANY HAS TO PAY ME Rs. 29/- BACK...!

                              They also have Rs. 500/- as deposit from me for last 5-6 yrs. & STILL THEY HAVE NOT RESTORED MY "OUT GOING FACILITY"

                              PLEASE LOOK IN TO MATTER AT THE EARLIEST & OBLIGE.

                                My number is [protected].This is the second time i am complaining against Idea cellular mumbai.I am a telecom engineer.My first complaint is still not solved and now idea has started to play another bloody game with consumers.'BALANCE DEDUCTION WITHOUT NOTICE' yesterday my balance was around 173.53 INR.My daily 5 Rs/day plan is active.And today my balance is 158.53..That meanse 15 Rs deduction instead of 5 Rs deduction.And this is not FIRST time .I ve lost around 200 Rs like this.And moreover if i ask costumer care about this deduction he Simply LIES and executives are IMPOLITE .I was having very good IMPRESSION about idea but now i am planning through this idea out of my phone and that would be the better idea. Dear idea people i request u all to keep posting such complaints against idea regularly so that it gets solved soon ,Its my kind request to you all.

                                  I am a new customer of prepaid idea cellular phone since last 3-4 months. My cell number is [protected], IMSI number [protected] and present adress-B1-14 Sundaram Co-Op. HSG society Raveria Park near Moraji Circle Vapi (Valsad) Gujarat, India.
                                  My complain is Unexpected amount Rs-110 at one time has been deducted at dated January14, 2010 from my valance amount Rs 198 at 7.0PM when I observed the balance at 9:30PM my balance was 88 Rs whenever I did not make any call at that period. Than I make a call with customer care officer they tolled me that I am use internet searching but I did not do any such type of searching. On the basis of their telling than I tolled him Pl send me detail of searching they refused my request.
                                  and they completely surrender for giving to me any solid proof supporting to his claim of searching.
                                  Please tell me how can a customer bear such type o[censored]nexpected deduction bethought any prove support to customer cry. Again request Give me a acknowdgement supporting to my Complain and do the needful action to support my complain.

                                    This is regarding my late payment for idea connection which I am using for more than 2 years. I understand and I know that you are not the concerened person for this, but I am sure that you will help me out. My name is Azmi Firoz and I am residing in east delhi. From last few months I was passing through a bad time with my family and job as well. As I am now working in a good company. My issue is that from last one week a third party from idea side is troubling my family and me. As I asked them to give me three days still I recieved a call from court which states that I have to do the payments by tommorow unless you have to face the circumstances. as well as your third party still buzzing my friends and my relatives and asking them for my number which I have already told the operater. Yesterday your third party threaten my family saying that if i didnt pay the bill, they will take some stuff from my place. Now you tell me this is the way yo understand my situation? I didnt told them that I will not make the payments still they are on with their threats. You can also see my previous bills which were 10k, 5k, 3k, but i always made the payments on time. Can you please forward me the concerned person's number so that I can have a word with him please. Please dont ignore this mail. My family cant take it anymore so please help me. and Its a limit of something that your guys have crossed. They have called on my relatives number and told them tha I am fraud and burggler. Please insure that I AZMI Firoz will not make the payments as I was calm to every of your caller. But now you have crossed the limits. I am recieving calls from my relatives stating that they are recieving the threat calls from your side. I have the numbers and I am sending you the numbers also I have the records of the calls.

                                    You can see my previous records earlier that I have made the payments whatever it is. But This time your people have crossed the limits. Due to which my mom and dad who came from Saudi Arabia getting so tensed coz of this reason. These guys have made this thing such a big issue that all of my relatives are pointing finger on my character. I am not a FRAUD, I am not a THEIF iam not BURGLER. Just see what kind of language you guys have spoken to my sister, my aunt, my cusins... I will make the payments but for sure i will change the network after this. Including five five numbers of my cusins. I am so upset with the service. I am really upset. Thank you so much. But I will not leave those guys who abused my sister, my bother and other relatives about me as i have the recording of the conversation. I will not let them go. As I have already made the complaint of these numbers in the police and I want you guys to take some action on this. I will not let them go so easily.

                                    I Had IDEA mobile no [protected] for IDEA CELLLULAR SERVICE . FOR DELHI REGION . i SHIFTED TO PUNE and my current No is [protected] . i complaint to idea service customer care that my bill is wrong and has discrepency which needs to be corrected . But there was no response from Idea services . after onemonth i got a call from some unknown person telling me to pay double the bill amount otherwise he will harrase me and started calling all my relatives and saying that person has done fraud and ran away . i started getting call from my relatives, asking me the matter . i callled idea customer care and told them please rectify my bill and stop doing nussiance . I have paid my idea bill still my family and relative are geeting threat from unknown person saying that he is calling from idea cellaur service and asking me to pay double the amount of my bill. i am so depreesed by this act of Idea company . i request you to take action against comapny so that they stop calling me and my family and stop threating my family

                                    Hi sir this is Brishbhan singh Tomar here.sir this is in regards some unwanted calls from Idea,,Sir I was using 2 idea numbers.but somehow I couldn't make the payments coz I am jobless and got completly laid off..there was some dispute in the bill..I made a hell numbers of calls to Idea to get it resolved.but the didn't do anything in favor of me..Now the account is into the collection.A girl (shyara) have been calling like anything she is abusing my relatives and friends.Its effecting my reputation and business..i said them that I'll make the payment in some days (within a week) still she is calling to my relatives any forcing them to make the payment..they got realy pissed off that according to the consumer rights they are not suppose to disturb any of my friends and relatives.please sir/ma'am do some thing in my favor..the numbers they are getting calls from [protected].. looking for a positive response from you..they got 55 calls in a miniute..that girls says I need a payment from you..If something wrong happens to my friend or any of relatives..idea and that girl would be the responsible..if idea won't stop these calls I will really go mad..
