Subject: Regarding to fraud plans about Idea Post-paid Connections
Respected Sir,
I would like to make this information in your kind attention, once more, two application i sent you earlier also stating that I have paid Rs. 500 to an executive (Named as Siddhartha) by IDEA post-paid connection channel partner from ‘Majestic Infotech-Paschim Vihar, New Delhi’ on 11.11.2009, by cash and i have the cash-receipt of the same.
The person was representative from Idea and told me the wrong plan of 150/= per month rental, claiming free nation-wide roaming incoming and flat 50 p. Outgoing call rates and 50 p. sms rates, even in roaming. He told me to give first 150 local/national calls absolutely free and first 150 local/national sms also free. They also told me some other reduced call rates, while in home network, like 30p. Local and 50p. STD, He also told that there is nothing very special in this offer, as Reliance and other networks are giving very good plans.
However, while my connection was not activated even in 1 week, I went to ‘My Idea’ show-room, Kapil, an officer, there checked and confirmed my plan online and told that the same plan did not existed in any one of the postpaid rental schems.from Customer Care (IDEA), he forwarded my complaint to the Idea grievance cell and assured me some quick solution as told me that the same plan was not available to any customer in any postpaid plan.
Sir, I am a Research-Scholar in ‘NPL-New Delhi’, and I am really very much disgusted by the various calls, I have done to them, initially a person named as ‘SHAMMI’ in Idea nodal office assured me that he will definitely solve the problem, but nothing happened, they done nothing, I have spent at least 1500/= in calling them at various numbers of their customer-care and various other possible numbers. 2500/= in travelling here and there. As a result i have spent a total of Rs. 4500/= and still I have got neither my refund, nor my no. activated nor any other assistance.
ON MAKING THIS COMPLAINT, E-MAIL HAS RECIEVED FROM IDEA AFTER 1.5 MONTH, STILL THEY ARE DEMANDING SOMETIMES PROOF OF CASH-RECIEPT,WHEN I E-MAILED THE SOFT COPY OF RECIEPT, THEY STARTEDTO DEMAND THE SIM NUMBER, AND IN THIS WAY THEY ARE JUST DELAYING THE MATTER AND MAKING VARIOUS PRETENDS EVERY NOW AND THEN.
I AM NOT AT ALL SATISFIED WITH THE WAY, THEY ARE TAKING THIS COMPLAINT VERY LIGHTLY, RESULTING THAT THE COMPLAINT IS NOT SOLVED STILL NOW.
While calling to IDEA, they misbehaved to me and not only to me but 4 other students from NPL and NISCAIR are also their victims.
Sir, we are exploited continuously by these idea members, while telling them to their complaint to TRAI, they said whatever you want, you can do, you did not bought the plan from us and we are therefore not responsible. Idea is saying that we are not liable for this fraud but this sales agency is authorized by IDEA itself then where i go and what should i do?????
Please sir do something for us at the earliest.
Sir it is the time to make a lesson to IDEA by the consumer forum.

I am customer of idea prepaid since 3year.i want to complain against your idea post paid customer care.
Because his information was fake and they cheated me.
In 3jan a call came in my cell by idea post paid customer care and he told me that i[censored] take the post paid connection than we would provide the 4 hour’s free call to two number which given by u that 4 hours call applicable std/local per days. He said” his name was niraj kumar&no-[protected].
I was totally shocked to know about that offer and I got it confirmed by seiner officer Ms. Vikramjit shing.heGranted me about this offer so I agreed.
After that ur site executive visited for ur sim activation and documentation regarding payment’s.I did pay but after two days ago I got to know that information was fake.
I got upset I discussed this matter with some o[censored]r executive but sorry to say the matter is still unsolved.
And sim has’nt been activated yet, as well.
So I very sorrowfully, as a last option I have complaint against him. If required action is not being taken as soon,
I will definitely post this complain to the consumer court .MY NO IS [protected]

    Sir,
    On 27 Dec 2009, i top up my prepaid cellular phone (ph No [protected]) for 202 (instead of 201) which will provide me 201 as full talk time, but by the mistake of dealer it happen for 202. For 202 idea provided me a talk time of 83 rupees which is not understood. On enquiring the same the call center informed me that it is the mistake of dealer not our. But my complaint is that if there is no talk time of 202 why they accepted the amount, either they should have said wrong top up. Instead of that they gave me talk time for 83 which is not understood.



    On 29 Dec 2009, i top upped for 201 for full talk time, 48 Rs for sms pack and 32 rupees for one paise for one year. All has been accepted from idea and i also got message of sucessful recharge. Now for the pack of 48 Rs they not providing me the sms pack. Again enquiry from call center they said that you did 32 rs top up after 48 Rs so the previous all top up is vanished. My complaint is how can 48 rs just top uped eight minutes before vanished if there was provision like that it should have been said to the consumer while top up. The idea service is giving a poor consumer satisfaction and hiding many policies which leading money loss to its customers. I request my loss money may please be remitted to me.

    I have had similar and even more horrible issues wherein the idea prepaid charged me 30 INR not for calling at a UK no. but only for sending a missed call. The same had been proved by my Aunt...who said she had not received the call, but only heard a small missed call from my side.

    My frequent call and email was of no avail and none bothers to listen to customers once their stuff are sold..

    I l suddenly lost my 65/- talktime and about 12000+ seconds. it's horrible.I will not recommend this idea to anyone.

      I am an Idea user from the past 1.5 years, and I like idea a lot because of the services it provides, be it new schemes, low call rates... everything. But I happen to call idea today because one of my friend lost his card, and i gave all all the necessary information (well, almost), but unfortunately that wasn't enough I guess, so I had to call again and this time I made it a conference call, so that I make sure that the issue is resolved this time, and one nice gentleman answered the call and behaved very nicely and took all the information and asked us to wait for a while so that he could make us talk to a supervisor so that he can block the card, and to our misfortune an ill mannered supervisor answered the phone, his name is Sunil Bansal, a person who does not have any etiquettes of how to talk to a person who has just lost a card.
      Instances of being rude and unprofessional:- he asked us to state two numbers on which we called, we gave one number, and when we started to give the second number, he interrupted in between and bluntly said this number is invalid and "you don't call this number" when my friend said that he is very unhappy with the services being provided, he said"acha hai na sir isme koi badi baat thodi na hai". I work in a call center as well, and I know that this kind of behavior is certainly not acceptable.I would REQUEST you to take immediate action against SUNIL BANSAL. I know that this mail may not be that important to you, and i guess no action would be taken against him if he is a good performer, but this is one humble request, that if certain action can not be taken, then please ensure that you introduce certain measures that take care of these kind of issues. I am certainly not happy but that doesnt make IDEA loose my loyalty against it, But certainly makes me a customer who would never want anyone else to buy IDEA.

          I have an IDEA prepaid connection number[protected]. I recharged it on line for Rs 222 through my ICICI SB A/C today 31/12/09.Thogh the amount has been deducted from my account, the talktime has not been acitvated yet. . please help me immediately

            I am idea karnataka customer with mobile no.[protected]

            i had recharged my account under full talktime scheme (140rs) which had a validity of 20 days. When i recharged i was not told that it was only for local usage and the amount cannot be used while roaming.

            I am currently in hyderabad(roaming location) and i have 98rs balance in my account and i will not be able to use this balance amount because i will be here for one month and the validity of this balance amount will lapse on
            9-1-2010.

            I called the costumer care and i have the full recording of the conversation.
            I have the proof of the ccr telling me that they dont inform the customers regarding the conditions of that offer.

            I want to file a complaint against the company for the cheating they have done and the money what i will be loosing and also the hardships i faced on[protected].
            I was not able to call or receive calls on[protected] morning and have lost money on a few business transactions i was not able to make.

            I have all the proofs in recording as well as the sms i received which nowhere states that the amount is valid only for local usage.

            idea prepaid - karnataka — did not get talktime

            I used netbanking to recharge my idea prepaid mobile no.
            Before that I checked IdeaCellular portal (http://www.ideacellular.com/IDEA.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=IDEA_Page_Con... which clearly says that a top up of 199 fetches 175 Rs talk time.

            All I got was 5 paisa of talk time.
            Customer care refused to even lodge a complaint. They told me that the amount has gone to convert my connection to a different plan (idea to idea free) which I never wanted.
            On insisting that why this information (the link mentioned above which informs that a top up of Rs 199 fetches 175 Rs talktime) was put up on the web, they told me that they would get back to me. going by their behaviour I have no confidence in their word.

              Hi,

              I am using idea prepaid delhi,i want to divert calls to my aircel number (series 88).But when i am activating this service the response i am getting is not allowed.
              I talked to customer care but that guy was trying to make my fool by saying senseless reasons like it is a handset feature and we are not responsible for it.
              And he was talking very rudely.

              I am fed of idea now by their hidden terms and condition on every scheme and now this is the new one.

              I am eagerly waiting for number portability facility so i dont have to change my number.

              i have idea prepaid card. my problem is when i try to call any number to my idea card they can not allowed to call error is (call not allowed) after this problem i call customer care and after talk with customer they told me your problem is network problem they can release within a day. But i have same problem for next day. and then i call second time customer care and after call they told me sir this problem is not repair via call you just visit our idea shop they can help you. tomorrow i visit idea shop and told her to problem he told me sir this is very hard problem so you wait for a minimum 19hrs to solve this problem. But this problem is not solved in 19hrs they take hole 3 working days but still same problem they give me a sr no.[protected],[protected] for complain . I AM VERY SORRY IDEA I DO NOT BUY ANY OTHER CARD FOR YOUR COMPANY AT-LEAST INFORM ME WHERE I GET RIGHT SOLUTION AND MY SERVICE IS READY TO USE. PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT ONLY MY PROBLEM ANY OTHER PERSON IS FACING THIS PROBLEM.

              Idea — diverting

              i'm having airtel no [protected]. i'm not able to set call divert to my another mobile(TATA docomo no.[protected]) when i'm busy. contacted local service centres of idea named n.m.marketing at ahmedabad. they say it's not possible. how??? why this poor service by idea when other service providers allow call divert to idea

              hello friends, i am idea prepaid user.i want to forward my calls to another number by Request a code **61*no# .this is not working, then i had make a call to the customer care they told me that "idea doesn't have forwarding service."

                My Mobile num is [protected] from Idea, Sir Pichle kuch dino se mere num par apne aap schemes lag jaati hain jinka mujhse har roj 3-3 Rs. kaate jaate hain jinhe meri marzi bina koi scheme laga di jati maine iski siqayat customer care me bhi ki thi but ek baar scheme band hokar dubara phir start ho jaati jaati hai bina meri marzi ke aur main jyada internet activate karvata hoon 20Rs./day wala uske bhi mujhse 40 Rs. kaate jaate hain yani 2 baar balance kaat liya jata hai.
                So plz help me Sir,

                  I am a working girl . Sir my idea sim card is missing from last 8 months,actually i thought i kept it somewhere and forget but suddenly from last few days my friends and family members are getting misscall and calls by that no.and they asked me about this ,my sim card is other person hand .
                  this person is creating the problem and uses abusing language and on return calland afterwards swtich off phone.

                    I am a prepaid Idea cellular subscriber. An amount of Rs. 817 had been deducted from my Idea Number account on 7th Dec for using GPRS. But i am dead sure that i had not used the idea GPRS at that day. The Idea cellular is claiming that the deductions are correct in each and every term.
                    I had tried to contact them several time via mail and Customer Care no. But they have the same answer. And Nowadays they have blocked me to call to customer care (voice as well as e-mail)
                    If let us suppose that i had used the GPRS at that day then also it is not possible that in a single minute there would be 129 hit to the server with each time downloading a bulk data as given below. This info is based on the uses sheet provided by there Customer Care. I had tried several times to let them understand the fact that this much of data download is not possible in a single day. It requires at least 4-5 days. But they have the same answer that deductions are correct in each and every term.
                    Now they are not responding to my mail and also i am unable to contact their customer care because they might blocked my call to customer care.
                    I am attaching the analyzed data on the basis o[censored]ses sheet provided by them.
                    Please suggest me what to do?

                    An authorized sum of Rs 140 was deducted from my IDEA prepaid account [protected] on 28th Dec 2009 . When i called customer care to verify they told that I have subscribed to a welcome tone on 28th December 2009 due to which Rs 140 was deducted from my account. But I am very sure that I have not subscribed to any such service. IDEA CELLULAR has automatically subscribed the service and had deducted Rs 140 from my balance. A similar problem occurred last month .A deduction of Rs 60 was made on November 2009 on same ground of subscribing welcome tone while I had not subscribed it. At that time I called customer care and had unsubscribed all the services so as to prevent such problem in future . But again this time they have deducted Rs 140 on same false ground that I have subscribed welcome tune, while I have unsubscribed all the services last month. On repeated calls to customer care they are not giving any accurate explanation for this. Please help me to recover the lost money and to prevent company from making such unauthorized deduction in future.

                      IDEA assured me speed upto 256 KBPS with the Net Setter (What is their IDEA sirjii)

                      I asked for demo as other service provides will surely give. But IDEA.... forget it they won't give demo but assure that the speed will be as claimed.

                      I purchased the Net Setter and suffering a lot. the Speed is pathetically low. I never get speed above 20 KBPS.

                      What a BAD IDEA sirjii. Please suggest what should be action now.

                      I suggest never by a costly Net Setter unless you get demo for it...

[protected]. when i went to IDEA care to block the sim they asked to submit FIR copy ANd AFFIDAVIT copy. but when i approached with original and xerox copies of FIR and Affidavit. they daid submit the original copy and they will issue only duplicate sim but the the original sinm will not be bolcked. i requested to take the copy of these documents as i need the original because i want to show it in Nokia care to trace/block the handset. but they refused to block the sim and issue new one. i am now thinking to lodge FIR against IDEA care too. because that person who had stolen my phone is calling from my number to my friends

                          Recently I switched my above no from TATAINDICOM to IDEA, now my problem is Idea demand me to pay 208.72 ( extra, apart from my actual bill ) for the period of 14.02.11 to 13.03.11 even I was switch my no on 08.03.2011

                          first of all I had been paid full Idea payment for the period of 08.03.2011 to 13.03.11 but they demand me to pay other charges ( I don't understand how my no is refecting in their system from 13.02.11 to 08.03.11) whereas for same duration I had paid bill to TATA INDICOM

                          U r requested to cancelled this demand and remove these charges from my bill

                          An early action will be highly appreciated.

                            I have idea Sim No. [protected].last time my validity is end on 17 nov. 2009. after that irecharge of Rs 55 for lifelong validity as per scheme of idea servises.they send me such type of messages -''Validity recharge se chutkara, recharge kigiye Rs 55 se,paiye lifelong validity aur Rs 47 ka talktime." But i have not got this fasility after recharge of Rs55. I have got only validyty of 15 days &47 talktime.Pls. think about this complain.bacause my mobile sow no service &repy lock of service.

                              We have been trying to resolve an issue related to charges on combined bill for which a cancellation request was made on 10 Sep.However Idea charged us for the month of oct for the service which we didnt use.We have been dealing with truly unprofessional individual at customer ,the worst part is the below mail from Idea customer service.They have already suspended the service thrice in between,when we needed it most.Please help

                              My number was blocked of outgoing service on 14-15 december at time when I was away at my home town -Amravati.We spoke to Ashwini Pawar: on 15 dec time 10:14 am.

                              to resolve this on (4999).However after much of dismay ,she transfered the call to Assha Sayyed( Some sort of Senior-An absolute jerk) who was neither professional nor courteous.After lot disscussion she agreed to activate the service & raised a request of reversal of disputed amount of Rs-217 to done by 18 dec.



                              Now again the serivce are blocked . We called today(20-dec-09) & spoke to Ganesh(call hung up),then Yogesh Goswami & finally another senior with broken langauge Named Prem Singh.Prem refused to reverse the Rs 217.So I asked him to disconnect the service.Then he started giving emotional theories that we have to pay the bill.



                              We were about pay the bill online ,however after going through the world class nusance with customer service & service being suspended thrice when out of station.We have no faith in Idea services & no intention to pay the due's till the the reversal happens.If reversal is not possible then please disconnect our service with immediate effect.

                                I have sent DND message to Idea on their official number for sending such requests- 1909 and still no action has been taken. I receive irrelevant and absurd service calls and messages in which I have absolutely NO INTEREST and it IRRITATES me. This is NOT customer friendly and I do not want these intimations. The DND message is for this purpose and Idea has NOT RESPONDED!
                                HORRIBLE SERVICE.. Their network SUCKS... Walk and talk is RUBBISH.. Please ensure that they learn something about customer service at least!

                                Idea Pre-paid — improper billing

                                on 20/3/2011,after making a call i found huge differance in my talk time on my idea prepaid connection(no-[protected]),soon i get in touch with the customer care and the feed back i recived was that i had made a call to a number-57777-and the applied call rate is 6.5/mts.i had made no such call and as the phone was with in my costudy no one is able to miss use the phone,after this information i provided they promised me to look in to the matter in 48 hours.after the stipulated time as i didnt recive any feed back i contacted again i i was requsted for an extenssion of 24 hours for three times.it was not sorted out and on 31/3 /2011 i got the confermation that i had made the call.even though i am sure that no call had goen from my mobile,i am not able to convince my part and put me in no other position than number portability.i am asking my friends and relatives who are using idea to follow my lead,which as on a begining comes to nine.more over i am planning to publish my experiance in face book and ask my friends to be more vigilant while using idea.this is not a threat or black mail but the protest of an individual who belives he is been robbed and cheated by some company whom he had high regards.further the time and effort i had spent on this made me really agitated.i know by doing all this i am not going to put idea out of business but i cannot simply sit back and let some one taking advantage on me.it is for sure AN IDEA CAN MAKE A DIFFERANCE

                                  I am having Idea connection since 2005. My DND is activated since 2007. Since 4 months I am receiving telemarker's calls means Idea sold my number to these people. I gave complaints many times but there are still calls and messages from these disturbing creatures. I have recorded phone calls to customer service people as a proof of complaint. But really don't know how to sue this bloody idea cellular.

                                    I have been using two Idea cellular No.s from Past 6-9 Years and from the last 15 months I have been facing very low signals or no signals inside my house. Whereas my father has been using Airtel ever since he has never faced this signal problem.
                                    I have registered my complaints thrice with the customer care and even visited the Idea showroom to personally complaint.

                                    In order to make a call I have to go outside the home most of the times, same is when I have to recive the call.Its becoming pathetic for me to stick to my number which is distributed to all my kins and clients.

                                    I wish for a better network signal strength from this customer oriented Company.

                                        this is a complain for not activated a nos [protected] a call was made from customer care for resubmit of the dox but before making any query they drop the call. I went to submit to the nearest office they told to submit the dox from where u have taken the sim which I had taken from calcutta ok submitted the dox in Jodhpur park my idea on[protected] but still now my sim has not yet been activated, please do the needful

                                        I baught the SIM card, while tryin gto activate by dialing 2222 that no itself is not getting through and says its temporarily out of services...how to activate

                                        How are they runnnig the service and how are they maintaing the service when they can not activate the number for customer...why the hell we should go to IDEA shoppe for activating the No...BAD very BAD i will buy other SIM rather than going to activate it...
