Hello!! i brought idea net setter on aug 2009, that fellow told me that its speed is very good, it will catch upto 60 to 80 kbps. i purchased it by paying 2400+100 for this useless device... first it took 3 days to connect & when it got connected there was one sad news waiting for me!! its speed is only 3-6kbps.. i gave nearly 20 complaints & even got calls from idea ppl saying that the complaint is resolve, but when i check it ll be same(3-4kbps).. later one person told me that t speed depends on city, i checked in all big towns of karnataka but speed was same... friends my advise to you ppl is please don use idea services( telecom & net) both are hopeless.. simply it will raise your BP.. i want my money back, im ready to throw t device on their face.. I received a call from [protected] on 1st Feb 2010 at 11.24am to brief me about the offer of Mobile TV. I was told that activation charge is Rs 4 and Rs 10 per day for subscription of a channel (active only for 24 hours) which will automatically get deactivated after 24 hours. I had selected Bindaas channel from the Mobile TV menu and have watched a clip for not more than 5 minutes around 11.35am. I was assured that no more than Rs14 will be deducted, but at the end of the day i found that a sum of Rs 29.24 got deducted form my mail balance.

On 2nd Feb 2010 an auto renewal charge of Rs 10 was deducted from my main balance even though i was assured that Rs10 deduction was not auto renewable and no amount shall be deducted without my consent.

Total amount deducted - Rs 39.24

I spoke to customer care and i was told to confirm all offers that one executive offered me with the other, with the do you people think??? I am sitting free whole day to keep on confirming offers with executives. When you people do not have complete product information than why the hell do you sell it to the consumers. Because of mistake at your end why should I face monetary loss. I neither belong to Birla nor Ambani family and every penny spent matters to me. I am highly dis-satisfied with your pathetic services. You are very prompt in responding to all the complaints but you do not provide any solution to the problem. I don't need a sorry from you or any other excuses. I just need the amount of Rs 25.24 to be credited back to my main balance.

This is the 3rd time I am facing this problem for your end and I am not going to leave you so easily. You must be making such illegal deductions from lakhs of customers and making a profit in crores.

I am not here for charity that you go on deducting amount. I am going to discontinue all my idea services if necessary action is not taken. You are not the only service provider in the market and ill make sure that even others don't subscribe to your services.

This is a surprise that I am being charged for Love 360/Double Meaning Jokes/News 360, even I personally made a request at Idea Centre, Khanpur, New Delhi-110062 on 30th Jan2010 and Lad-official at reception desk assured me that action shall be taken by 31st Jan 2010. But till date twice renewal subscription charges have been charged from my cell No.[protected]. I shall be very grateful if you please do something to de-activate it.

Dear All,
I would like to complaint about idea, Some how my sim card got blocked and when i called up their customer care they asked me to go to any idea care and get new sim by paying 75 rupee. I visited their outlet at Chakkarour in Gurgaon for the same but their system was not working, they asked me to visit another customer care at ISlampur on Sohna road when I reached their they told Prepaid SIM is not available with them. I called up Idea customer care and asked them what to do they requested me to visit their another customer care at Sec-4 & 7 near Jai cinema when I reached their again they told me that Prepaid SIM is not in stock and it will come in one weeks time.
When I called idea customer care they told me to go Delhi for the same.
I would like to say taking idea number is the biggest mistake I have done. If they can not maintain the SIM Stock in area like Gurgaon than what is fun keeping big - big holding on the road.

I'M WRITTIG A COMPLAINT FOR IDEA CELLULAR KERALA .THE NODAL & APPELLATE OFFICERS ARE ANY TIME TO CALL THEIR NOS ONLY ONE REPLAY FOR LAST 5 MONTHS WITH TILL DATE . THEY ARE OUT OF STATION.A LOT OF PEOPLE CALL ME THIS PROBLEM.ONE MAN GO TO CONSUMER COURT &OTHER CANCEL THEIR CONNECTIONS AND OTHER CHANGE TO OTHER NETWORK.

PREVIOUS DAY IDEA CELLULAR A HIGHER OFFICER CALL TO ME AND I KNOW THIS PROBLEM THE TEAM NOT RESPONDING CUSTOMERS COMPLAINT.NOW I'M RESIGNING IDEA CELLULAR AND JOINING OTHER NETWORK FOR MY BEST WORK.

My Ac No is 1.10709334 and code is CA06_0023389. For past many days this is showing error 619 and net is not working. It is sorry to say the speed is also very very slow. What a bad 'idea' to opt for Idea service which is a headache and waste of time and money too. There is nobody to attend complaints, I think Birla Group is spoiling their repution by offering such service to the professionals.

i am a customer of idea data (Internet) card
1)at 5 th Jan 10,call from customer care and told that ur bill amount is 2010.I told that pls clarify but they dont clarify,i was call them daily from 5 th Jan to 20th Jan,they told any time technical problem.
2) 22 Jan they disconnect net facilty,and told ur bill amount is 3000.
3)about 2000 bill,they told me u use the 1010 MB date of 28.12.09. and bill amount is 2000.

i have a prepaid idea no ,, idea cellular limited is overcharging and reducing the balance without informing the customer and provide unneccessary sms schemes,, they have activated many service without informing me,,when i call to customer cell to stop these schemes and services and refund my money back,,they refused and said money is unrefundable,,,,
please help me on this

SMS received from IDEA (GSM Service Provider) - Activate MidNight Radio at Rs.10/day - Unlimited Usage - One day validity only.

Activated the VAS for one day.

But next day onwards with out my conformation the start activating the same service and start deducting Charges for the same... Then why they mentioned "ONE DAY VALIDITY ONLY". Its stands for second time customer should confirm or request the same service.

Clearly it's cheating the customer and looting the money without customer's knowledge.

Today I have received a call from unknown lady from the no. [protected], that a case has been registered in Patiala House Court vide file no 216/10 and the hearing is on 27.01.10, When I inquired in this regard she gave me a mobile no of Some Mr. Shekher, the no. is she given to me is [protected]. I was very anxious to know that why someone have filed the unknown case against me. I have contacted to that Mr. Shekher on the no. already given by that lady. Mr Shekher was unknown to my name, when I have given my Identity, but when I have explained him all the matter regarding case and case file no. he whispered with someone and replied that you have not submitted your outstanding bill of your Idea no. [protected], when I have told him that I am not the user of this no., he threaten me I will see you and have to submit the outstanding amount because during analyzing of phone call data calls are also dialed on your mobile no [protected]. I am an engineer in Railways and unknown to this no i.e [protected].Apart from this the user of Idea nos. in Railways given the office Address instead of their residential Address to get rid bill receiving tension and the office Address starts from Sr.Section Engineer. It does not mean that I am the user of all the nos. that are being used in this office. It is requested that please arrange to check the mistake at appropriate level to avoid harassments to public.
Moreover I want clear here that I have an Idea no. in my house the no is [protected] and I have the bills in time.

I purchased 2 postpaid connection (as advanced rental plan for 3yrs) from Idea cellular ltd for Rs.7000/- in year 2006 and now i want them to convert into prepaid connection but company is not converting them, they are asking for Rs.5000/- for both the connection as Platinum No. Charges. At the time of purchasing no. they didn't tell me about the charges & neither between three yrs.

i am a pripaid custmer of idea mobail compny since long time.my problam start on 06 december 2009 early morning when dedact rs.256 balance.when i tolk to compny services toll free no 4444 for our rong didact balance,but he told to us that we have call to astrology service pruvad compny and 36 minits time to tolk.but i have neaver call in this type of number.then we face to torcharing to call sim ragester for our number again send photo copy or proof of residence. i have alrdy send to compny when i purchese sim.
rong didacting balance is not first time early thay have didact rong balance in our mobail number than i tolk to compny and company is send back balance in our mobail number.my mobail no is [protected].
today my mobail number is totally regestey fail. please suggest what action i take to credit our balance and also my mobail no is live.

my connection mo. no.-[protected] is deactivated on dated 11.12.2009 without any prior information, but my validation period for this no. is march 2011 which is shown in my balance query every time .this is my permanent no. due to this i face so many problems in my daily life . for this i have discus to idea costumer care they told me that this no. is deactivated by the company directly and not give me any sufficient answer.
please activate my connection as soon as possible otherwise i complaints to higher authorities.

Having submitted documents twice to the companies Idea Gallary at Powai, the cell has not started and services blocked with out information. Atleast before blocking I expect a letter or mail for doing so. Now because of this my parents are facing lot of problem and mental trauma, apart from this I have also put in a request for blocking the caller tune which is still not done and the charges are being deducted from the pre-paid balance which is leading to frustrations and on top of which the call center is worst in responding and keeps youon hold till you dont break down.

then i call second time customer care and after call they told me sir this problem is not repair via call you just visit our idea shop they can help you. tomorrow i visit idea shop and told her to problem he told me sir this is very hard problem so you wait for a minimum 19hrs to solve this problem. But this problem is not solved in 19hrs they take hole 3 working days but still same problem they give me a sr no.[protected],[protected] for complain . I AM VERY SORRY IDEA I DO NOT BUY ANY OTHER CARD FOR YOUR COMPANY AT-LEAST INFORM ME WHERE I GET RIGHT SOLUTION AND MY SERVICE IS READY TO USE. PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT ONLY MY PROBLEM ANY OTHER PERSON IS FACING THIS PROBLEM.
