Dear Executive,
I reach out to convey my dissatisfaction related to Idea cellular services. I recently ported in my number [protected] from Reliance to Idea. Upon activation of the connection, i had severe coverage issues, wherein, my phone is mostly unreachable. For your information, i am residing in a reasonable sub-urban area in Delhi (Dwarka Sector -3) where almost all other cellular service providers have coverage (I use Vodafone & Airtel as well and i have not observed any coverage issues compared to Idea).
I have requested optimization couple of times (C1-[protected], C1-[protected]), but always received a response that "unable to process your request". I even asked who to escalate but did not receive any response.
Moreover, i noted today that some VAS is activated on my mobile without me asking for it. When i tried deactivating this pack from web portal i receive a message "unable to process now, please try after sometime", I am requesting for deactivation of that service and reversal of charges that have been levied on me. This pack is a whatsapp pack, i use a Nokia n70 handset (does not support whatsapp) and anyway there's no network coverage for me to use that service... why would i activate it ?
I have also received couple o[censored]nsolicited emails from Idea informing me about activation of some promo packs ? What are these and why am i receiving such emails if i have not opted in for any promos ?
When i moved to idea, i was expecting a minimum level of service. However, it seems that Idea is only interested in collecting the bill amounts, and to make some additional you activate services without the users consent, to make it more exciting you would turn down every request for providing network coverage.
Look forward to resolution at the earliest. If you cannot fix this, please proceed with a termination of this connection.

One more thing our earlier pack T1242-Happy 274 Retail plan TR has 500MB 2G plan and I have selected 300MB 3G pack and though that I will get both like after completing 300MB 3G it should automatically shift to 500MB 2G plan but it is not like that Idea executive told me 2 days back that after 300MB 3G consumption they will change Pro-ration charges..
