Dear Sir, I am an idea user from last 4 years as postpaid customer mobile no. [protected] Ashwin Agrawal Jalna - 431203 Maharashtra Its a really very bad experience from idea for service and customer response. I gave portable request from idea to BSNL from February but till today idea company not giving clearance to poratable. My account status have rs. 750 as deposited amount and i paid rs. 550 as advance money for dues clearance. Every time i calling to customer care at 198 and 12345 no response is giving and telling you will get a call in 1 hour and your get a solution with in 1 hour from our mnc team to solve you problem but no call is coming from idea and always try to manipulate all things. I have all call recording also. I Talk with Miss Ashwini as on last call I think they dont want to accept portable request and they wasting portable request timing every time. I gave this portable request msg 4 times but work not done.

    This is copy of email I sent to the Idea on 20th May, frankly disappointed at the response and not they have stopped answering my emails. Please find the Email correspondence number E1-[protected] ... to make matters clear I am re sending the details sent earlier Please address this at the earliest. And not some lame response. 1219 08-May 09:01:33 internet Internet 123850.00 495.40 1220 08-May 09:01:50 internet Internet 22650.00 90.60 Please look at entry number 1219 and 1220 in gprs details that you sent, have been charged 495 and 90 respectively for a total usage of about 4 mins how is that possible, you are clearly overcharging here, please audit the charges and revert the charges and give me a updated amount as this is clearly wrong. I almost feel cheated on this, this is not very good and makes me wonder should i shift the provider.

        Yesterday, One of my female frinds SIM card was issued to some Random guy who then used that SIM card to harass many contacts on the SIM including owner. He further used that SIM to hack all her other Account s and mail ID as all the Password change OTP's were sent to that number. Details of my Friend are below: Name: Swati Chhetri Mob No: [protected] Address: Cantt Area, Nahan, Himachal Pradesh My concerns: 1. How was Duplicate SIM issued to other person, without matching the photo ID. 2. Was there any copy of FIR for Lost SIM/Phone was submitted before making request for duplicate SIM or was even asked for those documents? 3. What were the formalities completed before handing over the duplicate SIM? 4. Is there not a laid down process by TRAI for duplicate SIM? 5. This duplicate SIM could be used for many illegal activities including Terrorist and sexual harassment. Were these aspects not looked into before by passing all the pre-requisite for issual for Duplicate SIM? Incident is already reported to Police and Women Cell. Need your response ASAP. Consider this on priority.               Hello Team, I want to disconnect my Idea Postpaid cellular plan as I have moved out of India since a month and won’t be returning back now. I have paid the last bill. Request you share the CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESSS of the idea customer care where I can raise the request for closure of connection with my account details as I won’t be able to call from out of India.                 I got 50 MB 2G internet data for 7 days today[protected], which I used, but the excess of Rs. 83 was deducted from my balance for no reason (as my usage was too less after 50 MB). My compliant is after usage of 50 MB data, my Internet should automatically get disconnected (which is automatically disconnected after usage by cellular companies such as Vodafone, Tata Docomo etc.) This is not the first time by IDEA, I had this same issue previously also. So I request you to take action against IDEA and help me get my money back.

                      Dear Sir, I am the customer of Idea Cellular from past 8 years as continue sly. and the same has gave to the all departments of Income Tax - PAN, Life Insurance Company's and Govt of India (Aadhhar) Friends, relatives...etc. On orders of our Managing Director that I went to Jharkhand on 19.12.2014 for duties and I came back to Andhara Pradesh on 21.05.2015. In this period I was not used the Sim Card[protected] and kept with me, because the Company has provided the Group Sim Card at there. In this regard that the Idea Company has Blocked by Sim Card, when I was observed while returning of my journey to Andhra Pradesh and the same has been informed to Idea Distributor of KANDUKUR.AP and he replied me that was already allotted same one else at warangal.AP. With his reply, I shocked and very disappointed about my Number[protected]. Hence, you are requested to RE-ALLOTTED the Same Number to me to my convenience.

                        I bought Idea postpaid from wipro campus through idea vendor . I bought paln of rupees 99 which contains 100 std + 100 local min free. Today i got bill of 437 rupees .In which they have put the ISD sms charges of ruppess 55 and gprs charges 247 which i have not consumed, When i called customer care they simply refused to accepts their fault their supervisior MOHAMMED Told you have to pay the bill. This simply shows if you buy postpaid connection then you have to pay whatever amount they add to your bill . I thought People who are working in idea All are graduate from IIN thats why they use their excessive brain in adding fake charges in bill. Attached screenshot shows you that STD is not activate on my number for which actually this plan was.

                          dear sir /ma'am, i am the customer of idea cellular from last three years never get extra bill from these guys but from last three months i am getting so much bill .. even my last month bill is 3837. last to last month 2800 .. this time they cross the limit . my bill plan is 1299 of roaming + 5gb 3g data plan . my bill is like - 1299 monthly +250 1gb mobile access plan + 1046 charges on data pack proration + 12 rs call charges +837 rs previos pending + some tax total =3837 rs everything is fine with this bill but one thing if i paid 250 for extra uses for 1gb then why 1046 charges and i also bought 250 1 gb + 250 1 gb for the same month . but they activate the plan but not showing in this. when i activate 250 booster again in the same month the activate but i uses the amount when my data left around 500 mb they start new month after 19 may why. either the plan should not be activate or if activated hen why they are asking for more . i am so annoyed with idea from last three month if my problem not resolved i file one more complaint in consumer court . if you can help me please do thanks and regards amit kumar [protected]

                          Now what are the excuses from your side
                          If my problem solved or not doesn't matter i will stop using idea in future this the height guys you are telling me that i have wrongly applied some other pack just check out your data i got a mail that some kind of plan activate and also check from your end that i apply for that or not the mail I received on 18 may if you want that mail too i will forward.
                          Why don't you check from your side whats going on from last three months .. So irritated with you people..
                          Either you can help or not i will discontinue with idea .. Three years relationship between us ended here.

                            My name is Manoj Tripathi. I have an IDEA pre-paid SIM with number +91-[protected]. I had changed the service from BSNL to IDEA using network portability service for the above mentioned number. This number was working good in India but since I came to Malaysia I am unable to see any signal in it while my colleagues with IDEA pre-paid SIM enjoy the services of IDEA properly.                               hello guys i am from andhra and staying in bangalore, i recharge with 71 rupees which is roaming offer, after that the roaming offer is not working and whoever called me im loosing all my money. i called customer care and asked what is the reason, they said there is no idea internet connection so it taking another network signal and that roaming charges apply.. is it some kind of joke? i am staying at polpular center of bangalore not in a small village, that is not my problem you guys have to provide that signals and that custumr care employye talkd so worst .. never switched to idea, its worst ever

                                Hi, My mobile [protected] Im frustrated with the charges on datapack pro ration.From last 2-3 months I have Rs.155 2G internet plan. My bill date is actually 25 of May, but on May 13th I deactivated my 155 2G internet plan.All was fine till that time. But next day I got a message like my Outgoing calls are barred because I crossed my Credit Limit. I was really shocked when I saw my unbilled amount, it was 1395. Then I called the customer care, they said they cant give my bill details till 25 May. Today I got my Bill it is now 1, 726.50. Now I cant talk with the custome care... I dont know why they are cheating the customer.. what should I do now..???

                                [protected]- It is very good that I am getting many calls from Customer care after I made the complaint here, thanks to Consumercomplaints.in. But when I am talking to them they are saying the same thing again and again. I know I'm not the first one who is facing the same issue. They have to do something to solve this problem, but they are not ready for that. They are now saying that I have to pay the bill which is 1726, Atleast they should give me some discount or something like that, because actually I haven't used the data after I deactivated my Internet pack.I activated that 1GB pack on April 25th and after using 960 odd Mb I deactivated that pack. They are saying that I'm supposed to use only 650 odd Mb till that date and I've used 350Mb more...!!! Can u believe that...??? . For that 350 odd Mb they have charged me 1385...and now they bared me from making outgoing calls...what should I do...

                                Please do something immediately, I don't have any other sim in Karnataka. If you are not solving my issue I will be forced to close both my postpaid connections and open a new connection from some other service providers.
                                Please do something immediately...I have received many calls from customer care..all are saying the same thing..nobody is helping me..they are trying justifying there side...Now they are telling that I want to pay 1726 !!!                                   Hello, To whom it may concern... This is to let you know that I have purchased a new prepaid sim card bearing connection no. [protected] from one of the idea stores in Bangalore located near South end circle upon submission of my authentic ID proof and an amount of INR 106/-. I was told by the executive that I would receive the sms regarding the intimation of the required tele verification within 24 hours. I feel it imperative to let you know that I've received this sms after 4 days. I installed the sim card in my mobile and discovered that there is no tower to call to 59059. I kept waiting for another 2 days but the situation remained unchanged. Finally I called [protected] from my alternative number and brought it to the notice of the company. The executive went ahead and asked me certain legitimate question regarding my address and type of document submitted, etc. and confirmed that the "TELE VERIFICATION IS NOW COMPLETED". I confirmed the same by asking the question twice and I was responded imperatively by the executive that "YES SIR ! THE VERIFICATION IS NOW COMPLETED AND YOUR SIM WILL BE ACTIVATED WITHIN 24 HRS." Please note that another three days had passed and the situation remained same. I again called the same number mentioned above yesterday from my alternative number and the executive this time said that the tele verification is not completed as per their system. This to me clearly indicates Either a lack in transparency/interest in inclination towards new potential customers OR a communication gap between employees across the organisation OR a casual approach towards customer service where executives failed to upload critical data to the CRM. Please be advised that I still do not have tower in to call to 59059. Please treat this as a proactive feedback without any indignation to your esteemed organisation.                                   This is freaky Guys !! Do you all sitting there want the customers to baby sit you to understand English. Please read the complaint properly before replying...MY SIM DOES NOT HAVE TOWER TO CALL TO THE NUMBER. Further please clarify if the no. is 5959 as mentioned by you or it is 59059 as informer by your executives.

                                  Once again - please read, understand, if required clarify and only then send a reply.

                                    I have changed my cellphone from iphone 5 to nokia lumia 800. Have bought an sim adaptar to convert my iphone nano sim to lumia micor sim and started my new phone. Everything was working fine but internet was not working, i have 750 INR 5GB internet plan, so considering i changed by phone i though there might be some setting issue so i called up the customer care and get all the settings for lumia updated on my phone but still it was not working. It is showing network tower as well as 3G symbol but still it is not working. I have called many times to the customer care and everytime they say the same settings which is not working. After calling almost 5-6 times once i was made to wait arounf 30 mins. They kept on transferring calls here and there and made me wait for so long. In the end i lost my patience and bang the call. Still my problem is not resolved and i am planning to change from idea to some other network. I think the technical team lack the competency to resolve the issue. If still you can find with any solution then do contact or else with in one week i will be changing by number.

                                    i appreciate your prompt reply but would be more glad if you resolve it also faster. If you suspect and issue with the SIM card then do tell me that i can go and replace it and if there is some other issue then do resolve because as you know a day without a dead phone is hard to pass by.

                                      Sub: Notice issued on payment due towards mobile No.[protected]- Clarification-reg Ref: 1. Your letter dated 24.11.2014 from Head -Retail Relations 2. Mobile Account No.[protected] Reference to the above I may inform the following facts for your consideration and further necessary action: It is true that I took an idea post paid mobile connection under plan SYMPHONY 299 and used till Aug last week 20 TH . Then on 28.08.2014 I have approached your Trivandrum Paruthipara My IDEA Store and requested change of plan to Special Retention Plan Adv.499.I had paid the retention plan charge plus outstanding amount in my account till that date on the same day (Receipt no. 770595 dt 28.08.2014 at Paruthipara My IDEA Store ). I have also received a confirmation message from idea customer service as early on Aug 31 2014 informing the change of plan via C1-[protected]. But I have received a notice from your end informing that if I failed to remit the due amount of Rs.498/- within 7 days the number will be deactivated, deposit amount will be forfeited and legal recourse will initiated for recovering the due. In reply to your notice I hereby inform that I am not liable to pay the any amount as charges on any Particulars mentioned in the bills since I have changed the plan to retention with advance payment of Rs. 499/- and you have accepted the change of plan via C1-[protected] w.e.f.31.08.2014. There may be some problem in the bill generation in your organisation. I have opted this scheme after ascertaining from your centre that there will be no hidden charges other than advance. In your confirmation letter also there is no indication of any specific charges. For the last 6 months the appeal authority of IDEA informed me several times that they will resolve shortly.Nothing happened sofar In the circumstances I would request you to look into the matter and to resolve the the issue at the earliest otherwise I will be constrained to approach appropriate forum for redressal of grievances

                                        Hello Sir, Now a days advertisement in TV for IIN is coming, in that a father gifted a "Rajdoot" bike to his son and with the help of IIN (Idea INternet Network) Son modify that bike to "Royal Enfield". I had tried to find multiple times on my mobile how to do that but did not got any information regarding that. I want Idea to provide all details through that i can also modify my bike.
