Hi, I am illegally cheated from last 2 monthly bills by additional feature charges on I plan booster packs of 2 plans at a time (1GB on 2G and 2GB on 2G). I already requested many times to close the 1 plan (1GB on 2G – Rs. 125) but it is not closed till now and charges added in my bill. In Jan-2015, I requested to upgrade my data plan, requested accepted and charges added in bill also but feature was not enabled so above uses on initial plan data limit, Huge charges of overuse data was also added in the bill., That’s was clear cheat & scam. Hi, I'm getting billed for some feature charges which I'm unaware of . Please inform me about it or tell me how to check it my self. The feature pack describes itself as 'aop2 pack rs35'. Please instruct me to disable it if possible.
I m also cheated by idea. They charged extra amount as feature fees. They make in every 30minutes ad call. That is very irritating. So, they want only earn not serve worth.

    As told by the customer service associate, I dropped a mail to [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com for the required receipts, but I didn't get any response yet.
    What kind of service is this. Totally pathetic.

      I have requested for activating internet (ACT3G25) to 12345 a single time and from idea side they have received it three times as per idea computer records and call center person Mr. Sudhakar. I am unable to understand how idea network works, how can a single request is processed 3 times from their side and they think user's are crazy to send request for 3 time.

        i have success fully recharge Rs.39 at date 13-02-15 .whatspp pack 200mb . but i have also Deduction charges of data uses i have no net surfing only whatsapp software uses . please give me detail of Dated[protected] deducted charges after active whatspp pack otherwise refund me Deduction charges dated[protected].

          1) Message recieved from 612345 regarding free dialer tone on dated 1-2-2015. 2) complain raised on 1-2-15 after activation of Vas immediately. 3) Vas services deactivation request registered email recived at your end 3-2-15. 4) screen shot required by you on dated 3-2-15. 5) screen shot forwarded by myself on dated 4-2-15. 6) Action taken by your self on 5-2-15, without returning my money against vas activation.               Dear Sir/Mam, I am a loyal consumer of IDEA cellular from 8 year approx but now i got trobule last few month problem is that my bill charge high amount i complain it for your coustumer care then he tell me you got discount Rs500 but you are not given any discount and you also close my out going and incomming calls and you raised bill every month.so can you tell me when my all call close by you then why u pepole raised bill every month i born to you immidiate cut my connection and never raised a bill of a single amount.                 I had Idea postpaid connection in which Idea was providing 1GB 3G data in my bill. Upto first 4 bill there was no problem and I paid bill on time. But in Oct-14, after 17 day of bill cycle I used 900MB 3G data so I activated more 1GB 3G data @ Rs. 250. And this service was activated this was conformed because free data showing on my mobile when I OFF mobile data. So I used 3G. But after 4 day I received SMS from Idea that you have consumed 400MB more. When I called on 198 they said that activated 3G service was deactived before 2 days because it was not for me. But how can I know that this service deactivated. This was Idea mistake and I have all recording. When I received my bill found that I used 900MB in first 17 day, which was in my plan is also shows as extra 3G usage. After lots of discussion also Idea not remove this charges. Idea charges me Rs. 1380, but I paid only Rs. 750 which I used. So Idea stopped my barred my number. So I changed my 7 years old number and taken new number. But Idea gave me advocate notice.                 I have started Idea connection on [protected] from 20.07.2014 through MNP. My bill plan was PMB Emerald GUJ Plan, in which 1GB 3G Internet was free. My bills cycle end at 7th of every month. I received my first 3 bills without any mistake. But in October, I consumed 900MB internet in first 17 days of bill cycle. So from October 25, I started an additional 1GB 3G internet plan @ Rs.250, which also shows in my bill. But this bill plan was deactivated on October 27 by Idea without giving any information to me and next day I received SMS by Idea that “you have consumed 400MB extra internet”. When I complained on 198 then also Idea customer care executive not gave me any proper answer. I have all call recording
                Then I received bill of Rs 1381 on November 8 and found that I had consumed only 950MB but still it shows 392MB extra usage. Idea gave me only 561MB free data instead of 1GB. Idea has calculated this usage as per 17 days only instead of 30 days. Until October 27 whenever I used Internet I had my check free data on my mobile display and this information automatically comes on my mobile display when I switch OFF data connection. Then how can I used extra usage? If Idea would not have shown free internet data on my mobile display then I would not use it. Idea charged me Rs. 402 for this 392MB extra usage. How it was my mistake?
                Second, I've activated plan on 25th October but after 2 plan was deactivated by Idea. In this plan also free usage (66MB) calculated of 2 days and another 248MB is shown extra usage. When the plan was active the display of my mobile shown free data of 700MB and when this plan was running Idea deactivated it then whose mistake is this? Idea charged me Rs. 254 for this 248MB
                Total 402 + 254 = 656 + 82 (service tax) = Rs 738 addition amount in bill. I made complain many times by calling 198 by mail. But everytime I got answer from Idea that all charges levied are correct. I have not paid this bill. So from 26 November Idea stopped all service. It was my official number so I used my personnel phone for all official call and internet. Due to this I decided to do payment for the amount which I used. I made payment of Rs 750 on 4th December. But then also my service was not started by Idea.
                Idea sent me new bill for the next bill cycle in which I found that my service was stopped from November 26, then also Idea charged me for the whole month and also Idea charged me Rs. 50 for late payment of my last bill. Idea also added last month due of Rs. 632 and total bill amount was 1131, which is totally wrong. This bill should be half monthly rent of Rs 199 + Rs. 25 (all tax) = Rs 224 only. So finally I took a new SIM card from another operator and due to Idea’s mistake had to change my number was 7 years old number.
                Idea sent me latest bill in February, in which Idea deducted Rs. 18. After my lots of requests also Idea have not removed any single ruppe then after 4 months how Idea found mistake in bill. but still total bill is Rs. 1256. Idea added Rs. 50 for last 3 month.
                Ideas continuously harasses me by call and by mail and pressurize me for the payment. Idea was not stopped there; Idea sent me advocate notice, which is out of limit.

                  Sir, Yestrday i got offer of 1Gb 3G for 156 bt when i got my recharge ...i found tat only 500MB and when called customer care, they told there is no such offr for u.. I mean sir this is jst ridiculous ...they r bullfing the customers... even i had taken screenshot of tat offer. I request u to please look into da mattr nd help to get my ful 1GB... THANKS

                    I have this no. From 2 years before as postpaid.on 6th feb 2015 i went to idea service centre sector 35c chandigarh to apply for convert it into prepaid .they collect every document from me for this concern and i also clear my no dues. Till now my no is not activated .i make many calls at the service center they told me that the no will be activate in 2 days or today evening etc. This makes me frustrated.. sometimez they do not even taken my phone ..and if they do .then again same reply ..today evening or tomorrow. etc. I request you to please resolve this issue and activate my no. asap.

                      There are 2 things I want. First, Idea sent me advocate notice for the bill not paid of Rs. 1256, which is wrong. "Ulta chor kotwal ko date". I have not paid the bill because it was wrongly charged. I have paid Rs. 750, which was I used. So I want that Idea should give apologies latter. Second, Idea barred my official number so I used my personnel number so Idea should give reimbursement for this.

                      મેં MNP કરાવી Airtel postpaid connection માંથી Idea postpaid connection તારીખ 20.07.2014 ના રોજથી ચાલુ કરાવેલ હતું. મારો બીલ પ્લાન PMB Emerald GUJ હતો, જેની અંદર 1GB 3G ઈન્ટરનેટ ફ્રી આવતું હતું. મારો બીલ પીરીયડ દરેક મહિના ની 7 તારીખ સુધી નો હતો. પહેલા 3 બીલ મારા બરાબર હતા અને મેં તેનું ટાઈમ પર પેમેન્ટ કર્યું હતું. પરંતુ ઓક્ટોબર મહિનામાં પહેલા 17 દિવસમાં મારો ઈન્ટરનેટ નો વપરાસ 900MB થઇ ગયો હતો. તેથી મેં 25 ઓક્ટોબરના રોજ વધારાનો 1G @250 નો ઈન્ટરનેટ પ્લાન ચાલુ કર્યો હતો. જે મારા બીલ માં પણ બતાવે છે. પરંતુ આ બીલ પ્લાન તારીખ 27 ઓક્ટોબરના રોજ વગર મને માહિતી આપ્યા વગર બંધ કરી દેવામાં આવ્યો હતો અને બીલ પ્લાન બંધ થવાના બીજા દિવસે મને SMS દ્વારા જણાવામાં આવ્યું કે તમારા ઈન્ટરનેટ નો વપરાશ વધારે થયેલો છે. જયારે મેં 198 પર ફોન કરી કંપ્લેન કરી તો મને એવું જણાવ્યું કે તમારા બીલ પ્લાન માં પહેલા થીજ 1GB ઈન્ટરનેટ ફ્રિ આપવામાં આવે છે તેથી તમે જે પ્લાન ચાલુ કરાવેલ હતો તે Idea દ્વારા બંધ કરી દીધો છે. મેં ઘણા ફોન કર્યા પરંતુ મને કોઈ સંતોષકારક જવાબ આપવામાં આવ્યો ના હતો. જેનું કોલ રેકોર્ડીંગ પણ મારી પાસે છે.
                      પછી મને 8 નવેમ્બર ના રોજ 1381 રૂપિયાનું બીલ મળ્યું ત્યારે મારા બીલ પ્લાન માં જે 1GB નું જે ઈન્ટરનેટ ફ્રિ હતું તેમાં પણ 392MB નો વધારાનો વપરાશ બતાવાયો હતો, જયારે મારું ઈન્ટરનેટ નો વપરાશ ફક્ત 950 નો હતો. તેમને આ વપરાશ 30 દિવસ ના બદલે 17 દિવસ પ્રમાણે 561MBનો ગણ્યો હતો અને મને 27 ઓક્ટોબર પછી ઈન્ટરનેટ નો ફ્રિ વપરાશ પણ આપ્યો ના હતો. તારીખ 27 ઓક્ટોબર સુધી મેં જયારે પણ ઈન્ટરનેટ નો વપરાશ કર્યો છે ત્યારે મેં Idea તરફ થી ફ્રી વપરાશ ચેક કર્યું હતું. અને આ માહિતી મારા મોબાઈલ માં જયારે પણ ડેટા કનેક્સન ON અને OFF કરતો હતો ત્યારે મારા મોબાઈલ ના ડિસ્પ્લે પર ફ્રિ વપરાશ ની માહિતી Idea તરફ થી આવી જતી હતી. તો પછી વધારોનો વપરાશ ક્યાંથી આવ્યો? જો Idea દ્વારા મને બચેલો ફ્રી ઈન્ટરનેટ ની માહિતી ના આપવામાં આવી હોત તો મેં ઈન્ટરનેટ નો વપરાશ ના કર્યો હોત. તે 392MB ના 402 રૂપિયા વધારાના લગાવામાં આવ્યા છે. કેમકે તે Idea ની ભૂલ થી થયું છે.
                      બીજું મેં 25 ઓક્ટોબર ના રોજ ચાલુ કરેલો પ્લાન 2 દિવસ પછી Idea દ્વારા બંધ કરી દેવાયો છે. જેમાં પણ 2 દિવસ પ્રમાણે 66MB ફ્રિ બતાવ્યા છે જયારે વધારાનો નો વપરાશ 248MB નો બતાવ્યો છે. પણ એ પ્લાન ચાલુ હતો ત્યારે પણ દ્વારા મારા મોબાઈલ ના ડિસ્પ્લે પર 700MB નો ફ્રિ વપરાશ બતાવતો હતો. અને પ્લાન ચાલુ હોઈ એ દરમિયાન જો Idea પ્લાન બંધ કરી દે તો એમાં મારી શું ભૂલ હતી? તે 248MB ના પણ 254 રૂપિયા વધારાના લગાવ્યા છે.
                      એટલે ટોટલ 402 + 254 = 656 + 82 (સર્વિસ ટેક્સ ના) = 738 રૂપિયા વધારા ના હતા. જેની જાણ મેં વારંવાર મેલ દ્વારા અને 198 પર કોલ દ્વારા કરી હતી. પણ Idea તરફ થી બીલ માં બધા ચાર્જ બરાબર જ છે તેવો જવાબ મળતો હતો. અને તેથી જ મેં બીલ નું પેમેન્ટ કર્યું ના હતું. જેથી મારું આઉટગોઇંગ Idea એ તારીખ 26 નવેમ્બર ના રોજ થી બંધ કરી દેવા માં આવ્યું હતું. આ મારો ઓફીસીઅલ નંબર હતો જે બંધ થવાથી મને ઘણી તકલીફ થઇ હતી અને મારે બધા જ ફોન અને ઈન્ટરનેટ નો વપરાશ પર્સનલ નંબર પર થી કરવા પડ્યા હતા. જેમાં મારો ઘણો ખર્ચો થયો હતો. એટલે મેં જેટલો વપરાશ કર્યો હતો તેના કરતા પણ વધારે નું પેમેન્ટ એટલેકે 750 રૂપિયાનું તારીખ 4 ડીસેમ્બર ના રોજ કર્યું હતું. તેમ છતાં મારું આઉટગોઇંગ ચાલુ થયું ના હતું.
                      પછી Idea તરફ થી નવું બીલ મોકલવામાં આવ્યું. જેમાં 26 નવેમ્બર થી મારું આઉટગોઇંગ Idea એ બંધ કર્યું હતું છતાં પણ પુરા મહિના નું માસિક ભાડું લગાવ્યું હતું અને પાછલું બીલ મોડા ભરાયા ના 50 રૂપિયા લગાવાયા હતા. અને પાછલા બીલ ના 632 રૂપિયા જોડાઈ ને 1131 રૂપિયા નું બીલ હતું. જેમાં ફક્ત અડધું માસિક ભાડું 199 રૂપિયા + 25 રૂપિયા ટેક્સ = 224 રૂપિયા આવવા જોઈતા હતા. એટલે છેવટે મેં નવું સીમ કાર્ડ બીજા ઓપરેટર નું લીધું હતું અને Idea ની ભૂલ ને લીધે મારે મારો 7 વર્ષ જુનો નંબર બદલવો પડ્યો હતો.
                      Idea એ મને ફેબ્રુઆરી માં નવું બીલ મોકલ્યું છે જેમાં 18 રૂપિયા ઓછા કર્યા છે, ખબર નહિ ક્યાંથી 3 મહિના પછી એમને એમની આ ભૂલ મળી, જે મારી આટલી રીક્વેસ્ટ પછી પણ 1 રૂપિયા ની ભૂલ નહતી મળતી. પણ એમને બીજા 150 રૂપિયા ઉમેર્યા છે જેની કોઈ માહિતી બીલ માં નથી અને ટોટલ બીલ 1256 રૂપિયા નું છે.
                      છતાં પણ Idea એ મને ફોન અને મેલ કરી પરેશાન કરવાનું ચાલુ રાખ્યું હતું. હદ તો ત્યારે થઇ ગઈ જયારે ના વકીલે મને નોટીસ મારા ઘરે મોકલી અને મને પેમેન્ટ માટે દબાણ કર્યું છે.

                      I have started Idea connection on [protected] from 20.07.2014 through MNP. My bill plan was PMB Emerald GUJ Plan, in which 1GB 3G Internet was free. My bills cycle end at 7th of every month. I received my first 3 bills without any mistake. But in October, I consumed 900MB internet in first 17 days of bill cycle. So on October 25, I started an additional 1GB 3G internet plan @ Rs.250, which also shows in my bill. But this bill plan was deactivated on October 27 by Idea without giving any information to me and next day I received SMS by Idea that “you have consumed 400MB extra internet”. When I complained on 198 then also Idea customer care executive not gave me any proper answer and I have all call recording

                      Then I received bill of Rs 1381 on November 8 and found that I had consumed only 950MB but still it shows 392MB extra usage. Idea gave me only 561MB free data instead of 1GB. Idea has calculated this usage as per 17 days only instead of. Until October 27 whenever I used Internet I had my check free data on my mobile display and this information automatically comes on my mobile display when I switch OFF data connection. Then how can I used extra usage? If Idea would not have shown free internet data on my mobile display then I would not use it. Idea charged me Rs. 402 for this 392MB extra usage. How it was my mistake?

                      Second, I've activated plan on 25th October but after 2 plan was deactivated by Idea. In this plan also free usage (66MB) calculated of 2 days and another 248MB is shown extra usage. When the plan was active the display of my mobile shown free data of 700MB and when this plan was running Idea deactivated it then whose mistake is this? Idea charged me Rs. 254 for this 248MB

                      Total 402 + 254 = 656 + 82 (service tax) = Rs 738 addition amount in bill. I made complain many times by calling 198 by mail. But everytime I got answer from Idea that all charges levied are correct. I have not paid this bill. So from 26 November Idea stopped all service. It was my official number so I used my personnel phone for all official call and internet. Due to this I decided to do payment for the amount which I used. I made payment of Rs 750 on 4th December. But then also my service was not started by Idea.
                      Idea sent me new bill for the next bill cycle in which I found that my service was stopped from November 26, then also Idea charged me for the whole month and also Idea charged me Rs. 50 for late payment of my last bill. Idea also added last month due of Rs. 632 and total bill amount was 1131, which it totally wrong. This bill should be half monthly rent of Rs 199 + Rs. 25 (all tax) = Rs 224 only. So finally I took a new SIM card from another operator and due to Idea’s mistake had to change my number was 7 years old number.

                      Idea sent me latest bill in February, in which Idea deducted Rs. 18. After my lots of requests also Idea have not removed any single ruppe then after 4 months how Idea found mistake in bill. but still total bill is Rs. 1256. Idea added Rs. 50 for last 3 month.

                      Idea is continuously harasses me by call and by mail and pressurize me for the payment. Idea was not stopped there, Idea sent me advocate notice, which is out of limit.

                      Still no response...but I Idea removed Rs.18 and Rs. 53. I don't know why after 3 months Idea found this mistakes. I request so many times but everytimes Idea said all charges are correct. But Still Rs. 1200 is more.

                          I had recharged my prepaid UP East sim with MRP Rs 349/- 3G 1GB data 90 days validity voucher on[protected]. I got an sms to that effect with validity being till 15 April. The company in the guise of prp (promo recharge pack) changed my scheme to validity of 30 days by giving me 1.5gb more. My usage is not that high hence I use the pack which I wanted. On enquiring why did this(my validity being reduced) happen, the reply given to me by the cse Mr. Sanjay and his senior Mr. Pawan and quite rudely I must say was " sir there was an offer on the said date for your phone that if you recharge on 15th Jan the promo scheme will come into effect" . Since I had recharged exactly 90 days back with the same voucher my scheme was bound to end on the said date and the company was in effect forcing me to pay 349 for one month there by taking my effective payment to 1047 for three months. Also on being asked that why wasn't I informed about this, the reply was " since you are on DND we couldn't inform you and you should have asked before getting the recharge done"
                          the customer who is getting the recharge as per term and conditions mentioned for that recharge voucher should now also ask to the company that will it stay the same of would the terms be changed by the company after getting the recharge done. I feel that this is pure fraud in the guise of promotions. I do not want and offers that is why I have DND so why are promos now being forced on me.

                          the customer service called me on 20th at about 9 pm and asked exactly as to what was the problem, told me first the same story that i had heard before. after atleast hearing me out this time, asked for some time to get it resolved. soon i got a message giving back more than i had expected.

                                  Hi, I would like to inform to all the customers via this forum that I am sick and tired of convincing Idea cellular that I am having an Internet connection issue. I have lodged 3 different complaints for the same and every time, I get a foolish answer that please contact your nearest Idea showroom and when I reach the showroom, they again route me back to Idea customer care (call center). I always get an "E" status bar on my screen when I have taken a "3G" plan. Complain 1 - Idea cellular first registered a complaint, nevertheless they came back to me in a week and said that we have made few changes (I don't know what) neither did they bother to explain me what did they do in 1 week, and confirmed that there wont be any more issues. Complaint 2 - The issues still continued, it never stopped. Hence, I called up their so called Call Center filled up with all donkeys who work there, yes I think they hire only if the person is as dumb as a donkey.. So this time they said everything if fine from our end, so you please go to an Idea Showroom and get your sim-card changed. I did the same and assumed that now the issue will be closed. Complaint 3 - Well the issue still didn't close, and now Idea cellular say that there must be some issue with your phone. So I took my iPhone 5S to the UNICORN iPhone service center. Informed them about the issue, after 2 days, Idea returned me the iPhone saying that there is no issue with the iPhone. So now when I get back to Idea Customer Care, they say that give us your office address?? When I asked for what?? They didn't have a reasoning for the same. Yesterday i.e. February 16, 2015 they closed the Idea Internet issue ticket without providing me with a resolution. So to wrap up, Idea sucks big time and they are least bothered with you as a customer. I am now stuck since I have opted for the corporate plan, this is what Idea cares for those customers with corporate plans.

[protected], resident of hapur u, p ( west), now have tried of regularly visiting to my idea showroom in order to get a nano sim in replace of old sim as my new iphone is not accepting the cutted micro sim . every time the showroom personel told me that they do not have prepaid nano sim and for that i have to go to meerut to collect it which is approx. 40 km away from our city. how can it be possible for a working men to leave his work & travel such a long distance for just to replace my old sim. so, this facility company has to provide to my city showrooms

                                    My name is Ram Sengar and I am using idea from last 8 years. My mobile no is +91 [protected]. Recently I moved from Delhi to UP East. I have transferred my sim card from NCR to UP East by use of MNP service. But the problem is that my iPhone is not accepting the converted sim ( from micro sim to nano sim). When I talked with idea care regarding to nano sim they said that idea does not provide nano sim for MNP users.

                                    I call your idea care they are saying to collect from them but it is chargeable. but if go for porting that is free of cost. why are you charging for nano sim when we are using your connection.

                                    Great to read the crappy complaints in English from IDEA consumers. Does IDEA really care about them?
                                    I was using Idea micro sim(3G) in my old phone. Now I am using 4G supported mobile compatible for nano sim. As soon as this new mobile bought, I approached the Idea store in Rajampet, Kadapa(dt)-516115 for 4G supported nano sim replacement. They told me that the cost of the sim is Rs.50 but I was received message that the sim upgradation is free. So that I didn't purchase it and I stopped to use Idea network. Please send me the new nano sim replacing my old micro sim. My number is [protected].

She always asked me to pay the bill for the number [protected] I don't know the above mentioned number and why should I pay the bill of some other person.Also your representative abused me today. I want you to take strict action against your representative and report me about the action taken Also I don't want any call regarding this matter from your side
