I was an active idea user from last 1 year with idea postpaid, whereas befire moving to abroad, i planned to deactivate my postpaid connection and switch to prepaid because my i wanted to keep my idea number active due to registered on various accounts. However i went to idea store for procedure where i cleared my outstanding balance with idea. And submitted my id cards for prepaid regustration of same number. I was informed that my current postpaid will be deactivated in 3 days, and as mentioned i got my number deactivated on mentioned date, and i had my prepaid sim card inserted in my phone and postpaid was of no use. Then i travelled overseas.
But when i enquired my family if prepaid number is active, it wasnt active. And after a month i got mail from idea asking for bill payment if next cycle month. I was confused that why should i pay when i completed all formalities for deactivation and cleared my outstanding balance. I dropped mail to customer care for same, but they responded after tooo long that my number was showing active so i will be charged. What is my mistake here and why should i pay for this cycle? By the mean time i got legal notice from idea with court for bill clarification. Now i am staying abroad, and i am really not understanding how could they charge my 1330 rs for deactivated period as my base plan was 444 rs and they say i used data so the bill went to 1330. I am like what the hell?? I didnt even had network coverage and my postpaid card was not even inserted in mobile phone, instead i was waiting for prepaid to get activated. But neither that happened.
This is ridiculous service and i dont know what to do now, and why to pay for the other period which is no used at all.

There was no resolution provided on my issue. I have open notice of court from idea, and strange thing is, their customer service is not responding me on mails, nor the lawyer who has the case details is picking up the calls. I am residing in USA right now, and asked my brother to follow up in india with the lawyer, The charges on my bill are really not fair, but due to the case i am being forcefully convinced to pay the bill, as my visa shouldnt be affected in future due to this shitty reason. Please let me know what should i do to proceed further IDEA????

    Since few weeks i have not received a call on my no and when i tried to call then it just dont get connected... It goes like 3 seconds and boom it ends without even tik tik lol, just 3 secs and thats all... Rest all net and sms are working... But the main is call i am unable to call and even recieve call form idea but i recieve calls form other sim so its for sure not the mobile problem... To the caller it always says that it is out of network area..: (.. My mobile number is [protected]. Please do fix this problem.

      As i was using idea network since last four years. On the day of[protected] at 21:41 i was using google play store app and i received a message saying that you have been subscribed to skillderby gaming service and you have been charged rs.35.00 from your account. As i contacted the costumer care service i haven't received any information and they are mentioning as you have activated. How could a person activate knowing that he will lose his money. As i asked to transfer the call to higher officials they are

        Hi,

        This is regarding the auto deduction of rs. 5 multiple times.
        Everytime, it deducts rs. 5. This has been done multiple times which caused approx 50 rupees deduction.
        I have called customer care 6-7 times but they are so unhelpful that they event don't tell why is the balance being deducted. They just say that no amount would be deducted from future but i am getting continuous deductions till now.

        I have never activated any services on my mobile. Please deactivate any such service from my number.
        As a customer, i am pretty frustrated now. I want this money refunded asap.

        Hi,

        This is not just related to 1 time deduction. The money has been deducted 7 times.
        Also, there was no SMS sent from the mobile. Even this has been confirmed by 1 of the customer associate over call and they tried to activate DND to avoid any further flash message.

        This is not the customer obsession I expect from a company like Idea.
        I want my money credited back into my account.

        Can you please assist.

          I am an idea network user. Once there was a balance deduction due to data was on and i was not having data balance. I complaint customer care regarding that and customer care activated a setting to avoid such balance deduction. I continued using the same network. After few months (Approx 5 days ago) the same cause of balance deduction happened and 24 rupees were deducted. After that i complaint again customer care and they told me the same reason of balance deduction. I asked customer care to find my previous complaint in which i had activated a setting for such balance deduction. They refused that there is no such setting activated. After that i filed a port because i was not satisfied with the service. Just after my port request, customer care from idea called me and requested not to switch and lodged a complain regarding my issue. He also said that you will be called by customer care for further issues and information etc. They did not call me till now. Today again a balance deduction massage came to me of 3 rupees. When i called customer care they said you have dialed *123# and that's why your balance has been deducted. But as much as i remember i didn't dial this number the same day when the deduction happened. The customer care made me fool and didn't listen my queries repeating some well trained line again and again.
          I finally want an investigation to all my complaints regarding deduction from my idea network and should be taken an action as soon as possible. Specially i don't want a refund i want an action to check my complain records and give a slap on the face of idea services.

            I have received a msg tht d idea cellular has renewed 35 for subscribing d blue lima. I didnt subscribe anything this is done without my permission. This is a bad thing from idea network so stop this here after. I need a clear verification about the amount renewed. This looks like that the idea is cheating the customers hope. So stop this nonsense.

                Sir, my idea prepaid sim no - [protected], and registered my mobile number, e mail id in idea. I was recharged with rs-97/- 3 g data for 28 days and rs-27/- 0.30p/p m for 56 days for local & std. But 3g data 5 days and second is only for isd not for local & std. The message has sent me by idea cc. All offers has been througly checked several times by my demo sim & with my mobile the same offers recharged, (I am also retailer of idea) i asked cc & appling authority but they didn't accept and reject to re-credit data date and validity of local & std for 56 days. Auto generated message sent like this :- we are tried to calling your mobile -[protected] but couldn't esatablished. Idea cellular is cheating to all customers and harshment
                Please take necessary action and recorrection above said faults otherwise i shall approach consumer court. M ramesh, ex-army. [protected]

                    महोदय मैंने १४.८.१७ को सुबह ८.४५ पर अपने आईडिया फ़ोन पर अपने ही paytm द्वारा ३०३.० रूपये का रिचार्ज किया था मगर मैंने गलती से एक रिचार्ज १७ रूपये का कर दिया उसके बाद मैं कोई भी फ़ोन नहीं कर पाया क्योंकि मेरे ३०३ रूपये १७ रूपये रिचार्ज करने के बाद ख़त्म हो गए. मैंने कस्टमर केयर को फ़ोन किया तो उन्होंने बताया की आपके ३०३ रूपये समाप्त हो गए क्योंकि आपने १७ रूपये का रिचार्ज कर दिया इस वजह से वो ख़त्म हो गए. मैंने उनसे कहा ये कैसा हिसाब है मेरे ३०३ रूपये वापस चाहिए उन्होंने कहा ये तो नहीं होंगे.मैंने उनसे कहा मेरी कंप्लेंट दर्ज कर लीजिये उन्होंने शिकायत दर्ज कर ली उसके बाद एक sms आया जिसमे लिखा था आपकी समस्या का समाधान १६.८.१७ समय ३.४६ पर होगा मैं इंतज़ार करता रहा और फ़ोन नहीं आया मैंने जब दुबारा sms किया तो फ़ोन आ गया उन्होंने कहा पुरे ३०३ रूपये तो वापस नहीं होंगे हाँ ५०% वापस कर सकते हैं मैंने कहा वापस करने हैं तो पुरे करो वरना नहीं
                    करें.

                      I never activated bluelima subscription but just i received an sms of renew alert sms.
                      ! Dea team please refund my money deducted earlier of bluelima subscription if you are abide to follow customer satisfaction polices governed by trai.

                        Hey. I need an alternative number as soon as possible. So i bought idea sim card they told me that number ll b active in 24 hrs. It has been more than 24 hrs now. So please activate it as soon as possible.. As they employee of idea came for varification. And everything was fine. Just the sim is not activated.. And i need it as soon as possible.

                        I recently recharged my idea no. With 84 GB for 84 days pack with unlimited calls.
                        It worked good for some days but now the speed of 4g is below 2G.
                        It gives me speed of 20kbps which is not acceptable.
                        Resolve the issue as soon as possible else I need to port my connection to some other service provider.

Regarding this i visited idea shoppe near telephone exchange square c a road nagpur, where ms tohmina (Cell number [protected]) attended me after a very long time and she is not cooperating me for the same.
                          After visiting 2 times she told the documents. When i reached with the documents, she told, she is now telling that it will b done on the billing date only (12 th of month)

                              I have never voluntarily activated any vas service, infact i never would waste money, bt apparently from last week i was charged for gaming vas about 35rs then today i was charged 15 rs for music this is not acceptable 50 rs has been deducted without my consent, if this is going on with idea i rather change my card than getting fooled

                                Every month value added services are getting activated without my consent. And for this month i have been changed for 4 different vas and total unbilled amount has reached rs.230. I have requested the customer support and but in vain. At first place, customer support deny to register waiver request. One of the customer support even argued that you must have done this intentionally. This is really frustrating. This is the worst a customer can expect. I request to either refund all the amount or discontinue the service from next month.

                                    Hi, i am seshasai, i took 3 post paid connections from idea. Myself i am not satisfied with the services provided and i ported out from idea to another mobile network. But i still continued to use the number +91 [protected] which is under plan 199/ month. I have been charged over amount on the number and i requested the details of the charges but i didn't receive them. Unfortunately, i crossed the due date and the charges imposed for the late payment are insane. I wrote an email to the customer care requesting to settle the pending on 14th of aug 2017, it is been two weeks and i didn't get any reply or response from idea.
                                    Since a week i and my family members receiving a threatening call from +91 [protected], they claim that they are calling from delhi high court and say "a case has been filed against you".
                                    They are disturbing my family and using a very abusive language over the phone. I am really fed up if you can able to look into this issue and help me resolve this.
                                    The amount is not big for me, but i want to know why i am paying around rs. 1100/- for two months for bill plan of rs. 199/-

                                      I was a postpaid customer of idea, account number[protected], i have been charged rs 2990 for using 750 mb of data, when i decline to pay the bill saying it is overcharged, now they are harassing me t pay the bill saying if it is generated then you have to pay no matter if it is incorrect, now they have sent me legal notice too, i visited there idea store to ask for correct bill they accepted the fact that this bill is incorrect and took my alternate number and told me they will contact me, but still i m waiting for there call.. Now i have received legal notice over email... Regular threats has been given by there collection agencies. Unprofessional attitude. Rude behavior.

                                        On 22 August 2017, I buy a idea SIM in Chandigarh University and it starts working after sometime but till now the first recharge has been not arrived which give me unlimited calling with 1GB data daily for 84 days.. I requested to you to please gave me my benefit of SIM which I have bought
