Hi, I had changed my idea mobile plan to Easy Share 999 in October-2013. This plan has Rs.999/- rental & 5GB of free 3G data usage. From october-2013 to march-2014 i was getting wrongly charged. Every month i had to raise a complaint. Finally, the issue was resolved. But to my SHOCK, today (23rd july) new bill was generated for the amount Rs. 7929.85/- and all my services were stopped. When i called the customer care number they plainly refused to take any complaint and blatantly disconneted my call. Not even a single customer rep understands this Plan and they are not ready to listen to the customer. Finally, after making atleast 4 calls to customer care, my complaint(IdC1-[protected]) was taken. But my services were not started and i was asked to pay the complete amount or wait till 30July without any services. Again, i had to talk to another 2 customer care reps my services were activated for only 24hours. Please can i understand WHAT IS MY FAULT? How can i file a complaint against each of the representative i talked to ? The response to this email will decide if i will continue to be Idea Customer. my mobile number ([protected])

    I took this !dea prepaid service 3 years ago. When I took the the connection, the calls rates were cheap and SMSs were free.Within a year, they started charging for 1st three SMSs and from the 17th SMS. Today I got to know that, my plan has changed to per second plan (1.6 paise per second). This is ridiculous. When I told the customer care guy that, I would opt for MNP if the tariff is not changed, he said "your wish, Madam". He was so confused while telling the tariff as well. !dea has got worst plans and worst customer service. Pathetic! That's the only word I can use for them.

        Hi, My number is [protected] & my name is Nasrulla Shariff N. I would like to bring to your notice about the situation that i have been facing. I was previously a Tata Docomo customer, i was approached by one of Idea's sales executive who provided me with a good offer after which i ported myself to Idea as a Postpaid customer. The first few months i had been getting bills within the limit of my usage and when i found that my usage was high, i changed my plan and increased it from 399 to 599. When i selected the 599 plan, i changed my packs since the 599 was an Iplan. I had also checked for 3g availability in my area and was said that 3G is available all across Karnataka. I had also made it clear to check if the 3G pack is activated & also gave them a reference as example sending ACT3G to 12345 or anything like this but i was told that 3G is already active on my number. I started using my phone normally and the next i found that i was being charged on every internet usage i was doing. Immediately i called up care center and informed them about this and i got a response that its nothing but just the usage of internet's message that i am getting. I waited all day and next day i found an Unbilled amount on my number. I called up and brought this to the customer care rep for which i was told that am not getting charged for any internet usage, my 3G is active and unbilled amount will be cleared as discounts once i get my bill at the end of the month. Also my request was taken for the 3g issue as i was not able to use or get 3g connection on my phone. I waited for a month and once i got my bill i saw that i was charged Rs. 139 on my bill as GPRS usage. I called up again and when informed i was told that it was pro usage data, but the fact is i never got to use any data. A manager told that it would be waived off my bill but when called back again, the request was cancelled and i was told that it was my mistake that i dint activate 3g on my number and hence i was being charged for internet usage and now i have to pay it. Well isn't it the Customer Care Representative's job to fix this issue for me the very first time when i called about this.? If it was the first person's job then wasn't it the other reps job to get this fixed for me when i kept calling every time for the same problem. This experience has seriously given me a thought of not being an IDEA customer anymore nor make my friends or family to be with Idea because of these negligence towards my problem. Please let me know in this situation what am i supposed to be doing? ALSO LET ME BRING TO YOUR NOTICE THAT AM STILL BEING CHARGED ON MY INTERNET USAGE FROM THE DAY I GOT MY BILL & STILL GETTING AN UNBILLED AMOUNT DAILY & YET NO ONE HAS FIXED THIS ISSUE TILL DATE.

        The problem still hasnt got fixed and i still keep getting charged for internet and my unbilled amount keeps raising. Pathetic experience with Idea. Never ever am i going to suggest anybody to take up an Idea connection.

          Horrible customer service ! People from the collections department are illiterate and they do not have any sense on how they should be talking to the customers. This afternoon I received a call from the collections department and first thing that female asked my was why have not been answering the call since yesterday. "I am not answerable to any one if i have not been answering my calls" Then the conversion continued and i said the call is regarding the bill payment and today is the due date, hence I will make the payment by EOD and disconnected. Look at the guts that female had...she called me again and told how the hell did i disconnect the phone and i am not the daughter of tata birla that I do not have time to answer the calls. During the same call on asking for her name she refused and disconnected the phone. This is not the kind of behavior any customer expects from any of the companies. Highly disappointed with this kind of behavior and also customer is aware that the bill payment is due there should not be such calls from the executives to harass the customer form 3 to 4 days prior to the bill payment date. The number I received the call from : [protected] Also even after raising a complaint in the complaints department, there has not been any complaint number generated or mailed to me.

              Dear Sir, This is to update you that i am post paid user of idea since 2008-09 my mobile number is [protected], i am using 249 voice date combo plan in this plan i am getting every month 512 MB 2G net free apart from that i was also taken 1GB 3G net plan and i was using it from last couple of month without any problem then i decided to shut 3G plan from my normal bill plan so i visit on idea gallery Ghatkopar (Mumbai) on 13 June paid my bill and also given a request to shut my 3G plan then concerned person replied it will be done within 4 hours, but after 4 hours i found my net service was completely deactivated and i was busy with my work so i wont be able to contact customer care then i visit idea gallery at lower parel (mumbai) on 19 june then concern person name sholem said previous person deactivated ur complete net services dont worry ill activate your net which u was getting free in ur bill plan 512 MB then within half n hour my net service get activated. Now when my mobile bill cm on my mail so i checked and found 594 Rs extra charges for net usage, when i called and confirmed with customer care person they replied u was deactivated ur net services then after 10 days again u was activated the same so it was prorata basis charges now the complaint is when i was not given any instruction to deactivate my complementary benefit of net then how can you charged for the same it a clear common sense who hates complementary benefit and why we deactivate the same. so its my humble request to you pls waived off the same charges. I seriously want to continue with idea services thats why i am using it from last 4 to 5 years and i don't think idea will treat their so much existing customer like this way, Waiting for ur positive reply on it,

              When your person from idea gallery ghatkopar has accepted the mistake, he told me by mistakenly he deactivated my free benefit of GPRS plan and when i activated again the services because of that your company charged me GPRS charges on prorata basis then why are you denying the same, and your person also promised me for refund thats why he mark a mail for refund from his portal and given me a complaint no (SR# C1-[protected]) on 19 June 2014. and also told me that from your total bill amount of 1040 you don't pay 590 Rs thats a why i paid remaining balance amount of 450 Rs. so i did the same and paid my bill amount on same day at you idea gallery (Ghatkopar). pls look into that on priority basis,

                I am a customer using two idea connections, one for around 4 years and another for around an year. Then an idea marketing staff who approached me and gave me the same offer I use to MNP my wifes connection. I opted that. But just 2 months later I got a mail stating that your post-paid does not exists and will have to pay additional 25 Rs monthly. I thought okay, it is just 25 Rs. Months later, I called customer care to activate GPRS in this second connection. They said it would be a 100 Rs pack and the data limit would be 2 GB. This is the same pack I was using in my first connection. This went well for two three months as I was not using much data which was normally around 250 MB per month. But one month it exceeded to 1350 something MB as my kid watched some nursery videos in it. There came my second blow: Next bill came with around 1300 Rs. My real issue with idea starts here and I called customer care about my issue and the guy who spoke to me was not at all nice and was adamant that my pack was for 1 GB. My point was that I was not notified by even a message that I have crossed my data usage. I requested call backs and they said I would get one in two days. As it was nearing the bill period, I asked them whether they charge any late fee in my next bill, he said it will not as I was waiting for their response on the disputed bill. Unfortunately I did not get a response and I called customer care once again and got a complaint mail address. I send a mail to the address and I got a response aftter some days that I had to pay the entire amount. Yes, I paid the entire amount... Next month bill came with a third blow, there was an additional 100 Rs as a late payment charge.. I called customer care again and they said I will get a call back from their supervisor (I don't believe there is one). But nobody called me and then it was nearing my last date of payment. I again called customer care and told the same issue, for the third time :) and she was talking nice and told me that I will hear back from them. She said I can pay the bill - 100 Rs for the time being to avoid late payment charges. I paid .. I knew I would not get any call back and all. After some days I got a message stating the payment is overdue for 100 Rs. I again called the customer care and explained all my issues once again (Forth time) to the lady and I got the same call back blabbing. Fourth blow: Then, one fine day one lady called my wife and told here they are introducng 3G for her connection and she was a bit skeptical with these guys because of the previous exp, and asked what is the difference. The agent said " No difference madam, you will be charged the same 100 Rs as before and Bingo.. Your network will be so fast". So she agreed to that. When she told me about this, I knew these guys are not so nice and they are hiding some information. I called the idea customer care and asked them what would be data usage limit, they said it would be 300 MB. The person who called my wife did not say anything about it and I registered another complaint stating that. They said the old plan cannot be activated, if I want same 1 GB I had to pay 150 Rs. As usual the customer I only suffer :) coming to present.. I got my last months bill in that there is this last months 100 Rs late payment charge and an additional 50 Rs for delaying that. I am writing all this just express my frustration on idea cellular customer service... A small note: Idea cellular.. 100 Rs is not a small amount for a day or two late payment of a bill of 300 (In my case it is because your delay in response though). 50 Rs for a late payment for 100 Rs huh.. Thought the amount seems to be small, it is 50% for 15 days :) In another words this can be called as robbery...                   My parents activated international roaming on their number (details below) and activated Rs 1499 pack for which incoming call was to be charged at Rs 30 per min with first 30 mins talk time free. However when the service was activated, customer care did not inform them that international pack is only available on selected networks in Europe due to which my parents were charged at a higher call rate than Rs 30 per min. Due to this they had to face a lot of problems on their international tour as their service was disconnected.We also deposited refundable fee Rs 2000 each at our local idea office and at that time also they also did not inform us about this.On 29th June, they barred services to these phone numbers without any information. When i spoke to them they informed that the unbilled amount if about Rs 15000 each for both the numbers.                     I am getting a call from this number [protected] non-stop. When I traced it, it says it's from rajasthan, idea number. I got a call from this number 5 times already and I answered one time and he sounds like a very bad person. I feel like the person has stolen one of my friend's phone and that is how he got my number. Please do the needful.

                      Dear Sir/Madam, Please find below my complaint details. Name: Raviraj Pawar IDEA A/C No :[protected] Mobile No. : [protected] I have started using IDEA GPRS Service from April 2014. At that time I've opted '1GB(2G)' Data Plan for rental of Rs. 150 per month. Later on I found that this Data Plan is not sufficient for me... so I decided to switch my existing 1GB(2G) Data Plan with 2GB(2G) Unlimited Data Plan. So for that last month on 27th or 28th June, 2014 I had called IDEA Customer care regarding switch of 2G Data Plan. When I asked for possibility of Data Plan switch respective Customer Care representative told me that I can switch to new Data plan i.e. 2GB Unlimited. At that time I have also asked him that whether I have to pay any extra charges apart from rental of Rs. 150 for existing data plan as I have used almost 100% data limit of existing data plans. For this query he responded as 'NO'. So I have gone ahead and asked him to active 2GB Unlimited Data Plan for me. Now, while looking at my bill details I found that rental of my previous Data Plan is charged on Prorated basis i.e. Rs. 110. And also I've been charged for another Rs. 559 for exceeded Data usage. I was not informed about this calculation for my existing Data Plan usage, otherwise I'll not opt for switch of Data Plan in middle of my regular billing cycle. Please note that I am not hesitating to pay Rental of Rs. 150 for my previous Data Plan but it is not biased to adjust this rental on Prorated basis and charge for exceeded Data Usage as these details are not informed me when I called to customer Care. At the end I just want to request you, please correct my bill amount and resend my updated bill. I have sent this mail to 'ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com' on 8th July, 2014 and 16th July, 2014. But till date no communication happened with me from Idea regarding this mail. Looking like all IDEA persons are too busy :(. For same reasons, I have contacted to IDEA customer care also by calling 12345. Every time they assured me that I will get call from back-end(which is responsible for Billing) within specified time but till date I didn't got any call. I will explain sequence to you... On 8th July, 2014 I sent mail to 'ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com', when I got auto-reply/auto-responce (System generated mail) that they will call back me within 24 Hrs. But there was no call back within 24 Hrs i.e till 9th July, 2014. On 9th July, 2014 I dialed 198 for logging complaint regarding this. My complaint is logged for same. After 2-3 days I got call from Idea Team, regarding this complaint. When I explained them situation they told me that I will get call from back-end team till 16th July, 2014. But there was no call till 16th July, 2014. So on 16th July, 2014 I have sent below mail again to 'ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com'. This time I didn't got auto-response (might be IDEA servers are also too much busy). Same day I called to IDEA Customer care(12345), when I explained all situation to them concern person assured me that I will get call from back-end team within 24 Hrs. Till today there was no such call I received. So Today also I called customer care, where I got horrible details about my previous calls, like related to my complaint I registered on 9th July 2014 (IdC1-[protected]) has been closed successfully mentioning details which indirectly explains that I am (mean Customer who registered complaint) is happy with resolution. but actually that complaint was closed by assuring me, I will get call from back-end team till 16th July, 2014. This is very ridiculous or the customer care representatives you have employed are hopeless... WHILE CLOSING ANY CALL/COMPLAINT they are logging comments in there view which will keep them on safer side. (Might be for appraisal purpose to show there successfully closed/resolved complaints). No one have mentioned things which I asked them to mention. (like... my billing end date is near, please act immediately... no one has mentioned this). Also, It seem that there is no proper communication present between different departments of IDEA. Because, every time Customer Care representative told/assured me that I will get call from back-end between specific time duration but no call happened till date. :P COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS IS ALSO AREA WHERE YOU MIGHT NEED TO IMPROVE. "You are recording all customer calls for internal Quality purposes". I am requesting you, please listen all my previous recorded calls from 6th/7th July, 2014 till date. My bill payment end date is 21st July I.e. Tomorrow and I am contacting Idea since 8th July... Every time I got assurance only. At the end, I just want to mention that, I am not going to pay any charges for which I was not informed. Otherwise I don't have any option other that stopping opting IDEA Service. I will pay all valid charges of my bill till date and will ask you for stopping all my services. (VALID charges mean all charges except Exceeded Data Usage charges applied me in my July 2014 bill, which are not informed me) In any case I am paying tomorrow my July 2014 bill excluding charges applied to me for Exceeded Data Usage (i.e. approx Rs. 560).

                        i was recharged idea prepaid mobile on 18/07/2014 11:00pm for night 3g data offer of 512mb worth of RS 29. My amount was debited in my main balance i got messages from company i got 512MB 3g data. But when i was starrting browsing on 19/07/2014 12:30am my main balance amount was debited. after that once again i recharge my mobile number with RS 29 with using 1219 call option on 19/07/2014 12:40am .again i got message 512MB 3g data.after that also my main balance was debited. 2 times i was not get any data. when i was trying to complaint on call center about this matter. Atleast there are not ready listen my problem. kindly take action on this matter and do needful to me. my number is [protected]

                          I activated do not disturb service in my idea number 2-3 months back bcz i was getting 3-4 promotional call & sms everyday from idea & other companies. But now i am only getting lots of promotional calls and sms only from idea. When i call to the customer care every time they reply we have registered your complaint and it will be resolve very soon. Even some times when i called on customer care no. after 10pm they guys abuse with me. Wowwwwwwww Idea great job done.

                          3rd Class customer support & 3rd Class services.

                            illegally - unauthorized by someone of idea executive (Rahul,
                            Sameer telecom Raipur )

                            I was holding This mobile number([protected])
                            since last 7 months i was using this in regular basis, before this incident the
                            outgoing n incoming are completely stopped and the network was also not
                            available and when this incident was happened i was in Goa that time my younger brother
                            was using the number. And when i came back to Indore, and started my No. that
                            time I was shocked that time because my number was using by some other person
                            by the name of "Shadab Khan" from Raipur . as per our
                            conversation he was badly abusing me & say its mine number and i have purchased
                            this no from so called rahul, sameer telecom Raipur at 5000rs.

                            Suddenly
                            i talk to Mr. Jaideep singh
                            makkar(Sale Head of idea cellular M.P) and i discuss with him about the
                            incident he gives me the number of Mr.
                            parvez khan ([protected]) (Some one of Idea executive) and he says to me
                            that don’t worry u bring out your
                            documents and the old sim card and we will get your number back
                            immediately, I have
                            submitted my all documents to, Ms.Nupura Kshirsagar(Appellate officer of
                            idea ) and Ashiwini thakkar (Senior Manager of idea M.P) for this no.
                            investigation.


                            Now
                            i am suffering from this problem from many days, and i also raise
                            complaint on idea appellate, and have not get resolution of this
                            complaint, you can see my Froward mail below.

                              I am facing the problem of incomming and outgoing SMS is not working since Jan 2014. I have also changed my SIM card keeping the same number with idea service at mahesana, at that time it got working but 10 days later, it again stop working of SMS incomming/outgoing. Whenever i go for complaint to 12345 it says, go to 198. and 198 says go to 12345 and bot are charging me as their routine of 50psise / 3min. but not giving any solution, all the time they reject to take complaint by saying that their PC is working slow and call them two hour later, and we have to pay again and again the same rate of talking with them as 50paise / 3min. In my life I never find such a bad service provider in india.From morning 10AM to Night 8 PM(around) there is no speed in my area. and every month I am getting a bill around 2000. If i paid a day later they are asking me to pay100 etc. I have register a complaint to appeal authority but no response for multiple time.
