I have applied for Pan Card some time back in December 2009 and as i havent recieved it even after 3months i checked the status of my Pan Card online and it says "RUD lying in chennai". Not sure what does that mean and not sure how to get it. Any one can help?

yesterday i received a call from first flight couriers from dausa. he told me about my pan card letter. And said me to come with voter id card and collect pan card from dausa office.My home is 65 km. far from dausa. why should i collect from dausa. it ur duty to deliver the mail.

Me and my mom pay taxes via our employers, but still we have been sent an intimation from the Income Tax Department under Section 143(1), asking for an amount which has to be paid in 30 days!

I understand the fact that there may have been some mistake, but then what's my fault? If the employers are responsible for payment of taxes, why fine me, and not the employer? I dont think I have an option to remove my employer out of this and opt to pay my taxes on my own.

Sir,

I am a regular Tax Payer under the PAN No. AHDPC3561A. Due to my late declaration / submission of Savings during Assessement Year[protected] I had to make excess payment of Income Tax of Rs. 10,829.00 and pending for refund since then. My father has visited number of times to concern Assessing Officer of Ward No. 14/5 at HMT Bhawan, Bangalore and every time he has been promisied to get settlement within very short period, as the Central Processing Unit is processing the assessment.

All the time he has been assured to wait for some more time but all promises has gone in vain. Now it is alomost 3 years is going to be over and I do not know the status of my assessment and refund for assessement year[protected].

Should I forget to get refund or I may please be informed what I should do?

Application for issue of duplicate PAN card has been filed on 26 Sep 09.
Ack No: - [protected]. I was holding PAN Card No - AGRPP7702P and the same was reflected in my service documents ( Pay Slip & Form -16) since initial issue. The card has been lost (27 Jul 09) and re- applied for the same on 26 Sep 09. While enquiry from NSDL it was found that the status regarding PAN card showing that it ha been deleted /de-activatedby I.T deptt. Now, present PAN card status shows the card No is - AGYPP6717H which is not at all held by me or used by me for any other correspondence/puposes.
