I got my PAN in the year 1999 with the number ABTPA0180D and had been fileing my returns since the year 2000 on the same number. Recently I lost my PAN card and applied for duplicate card. My application was returned and on enquiring I was told that the number has been cancelled. I am at a loss to understand why and when was my PAN cancelled. The Income Tax web site shows my PAN with remark to meet my assessing officer and my assessing oficers...

Dear Sir,
i have got my pan card earlier and PAN is AHGPT3112K, but in card my name is shown like this TAPAS BHONJON DAS ans my father name also like MUKTI KONTA DAS which is wrong . the name should be like this order TAPAS BHANJAN DAS s/o of MUKTI KANTA DAS.

Though it is differnt my middle name, am getting problem whereever i produce.
Please get me a correct card as on address.

I have completed my tax filing process online ending with the ITR-V posting to the concerned Post office.
I have now received a mail from IT Dept mentioning that my ITR-V is not obtained. I have the acknowledgement for receipt of ITR-V already.

On analysis of the acknowledgement number, I found that it is different in E-Receipt for IT Return form and in the ITR-V that I submitted. Since this is a mistake...

But i founded that my name is wrong on the pan card. i had informed the same to your Delhi headoffice on 6-8-2009 where Mr. Harish got my call. PHOTO ON PAN CARD IS NOT CLEAR & NOT ACCEPTABLE AS IDENTITY PROOF....

When we check our refund status through the site https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/refundstatuslogin.html it shows "Your assessing officer has not sent this refund to Refund Banker" for long period. However the contact detail for the relevent assessing officer is not avaiable any where. Even when I have raise a query for the contact details to Income Tax department, they have shown the concern that they are unable to get the information...

I received a SMS from SMSCaster.com on 13th may 2009: do u want a pan card in 300rs. please contact [protected]. I contact that person to get the PAN card for my wife.
