I am having a post office account at head post office, trichy, tamilnadu. I would like to inform you the present situation existing at head post office. Trichy.
1. The term deposit passbooks ( receipts ) are not being issued to the investors from[protected]. When it is enquired there, the investors are teased and humiliated by the postal staff, working there. Every time the investors are asked to come to headpost after 2 or 3 days, but the td passbook printing work is not at all completed. Same story is repeated.
Because of this many investors coming to the head post office to invest lakhs of rupees on term deposits, return, desperately, seeing the current situation existing there. This is a huge loss of income to post office. This is happening for the past 15 days. You can also see this, if you come to head post office, trichy.
2. The postal staff members say that computer system is not good, internet not working properly, etc... At least for 20 days in a, month. Because of this a person has to wait for 2 hours to put rs.1000 in his savings account and another 2 hours for pass book printing. This is a regular scenario at head post office, trichy.
In this long waiting period of 4 hours for each transaction, you can find many elderly persons fainting and falling down. The condition of all the savings account holders and investors is pitiable.
Please issue necessary directions to the officers concerned to,
1. To issue all the term deposit passbooks ( receipts ) immediately.
2. To rectify the internet problems existing in all the 9 counters at head post office, trichy
3. To complete the work, the sameday itself. And not to postpone the work. Otherwise let the staff complete the work and the go to their home, how late it may be.
4. Open additional counters, if needed.

to against SB holders / pass book entry not doing - req

With profound respect, I am an account holder to Ponmalai Post office, Trichy-4. I said that the every time in entry pass book is regular. Recently, I went to ponmalai post office to contact postal clerk and I asked one paying slip to saving amount to paid and transaction is completed of my account without pass book entry to handover myself. I asked, post office clerk do you want not book entry? in my account, how to know my saving balance amount in SB.
Hence, the office clerk to speech un-control words. (Not possible book entry and compliant don’t cared). All SB holders are not book entry and other type as same. Moreover, I am sustained to mental agony, I am not a defaulter in SB. kindly consider this case and suitable action please sir,
