Without consent Indiatimes has been sending me WAP MODEL pack service and the link to unsubcribe does not work. It is illegal for them to forcefully continue this service on my mobile number [protected]. I tried sending messages to unsubcribe but all in vain. MTNL and IndiaTimes deserve to be sued for the same and if this is not taken care of soon, I am sure enough people together will take them both to court. Please unsubscribe me from all your services immediately. IndiaTimes & MTNL, at least in the New Year try to make it your resolution not to blindly steal from your customers... you guys so far are clearly amongst the worst cheats in the industry.

    The replacement for the faulty delivery against my order referred in subject mater has so far not been given. on 4th October, as per SMS received from AD-ishop, it was assured that the complaint shall be resolved within 5 days (The latest complaint registration no.is 1258016). So far I have not received any call from indiatimes.


    When I call Customer care numbers [protected], the recorded voice keep telling that customer care executive shall shortly answer your call. However after waiting for upto 15 minutes (not less than 6 occasions), no one answers.These calls should be free but Indiatimes charge money for these calls also. It seems they are trying to make money by engaging customers on phone for long durations.

    When I send e-mail on [protected]@indiatimes.co.in, it bounces off. No way you can contact these frauds.

    I request you once look into the matter.

    I placed an order for a car stereo from India times. The product displayed on the news paper advertisement and the product I received was totally different. What I received was looking like something assembled in a cottage industry. Never in my life I came across something as ugly a product as the car stereo I bought from INDIA TIMES. Every time I look at this piece of scrap that I brought from Times of India I feel depressed. This is cheating by TIMES OF INDIA.

      my complain is against ONLINE INDIATIMES SHOPPING THOUGH READERS CHOICE.i ordered an e phone through india times readers offer costing Rs 9999 + some delivery charges telling that market value of this mobile is Rs 33000.i made my payment an waited eagerlyfor the mobille to be delivered at my home...after waiting for some days i recieved a parcel i opened it n was shocked to see the mobile it was 3rd class china mobile the cost of which may be around Rs 3000 apprx.whose is reallyvery bad in all its applications neither it touch screen works nor it has any battery back up. i made my complaint immediately after rieciving..its going to be a mnth now but no action has taken place...if we call no body picks the phone .now what shall we do ? all i can say we have been betrayed by INDIA TIMES SHOPPING....

        Against order number[protected], I ordered a book+ DVD package over three weeks ago. The full amount Rs 999/- was charged to my credit card but no sign of the material. I called their customer care ecnter and a polite young man assured me that delivery would take place urgently. Thereafter...SILENCE ! They do not reply to e-mails.

        I'm surprised as this is meant to be an affliate of the Times of India group.

              Dear Sir,

              I have bought one year subscription of Retailer magazine from Indiatimes.com dated 23rd Sep 08, in last year, Order No.:[protected], Sub order no.: 1567698 with the cash payment. But till now I have only recvd 4 edition of the magazine out of 12 issues through out the year.. I have followed up with Indiatimes.com many a times and i have got 2 issues out of 4 after rigorous follow ups with them.. But rest month issues i followed up but could nt trace, as customer care people kept on asking for time and they followed up with the magazine but nothing came out. I am quite frustrated with the whole thing.
              There are few things:
              1. Indiatimes never follow up for there customer interest, they were not atall concern
              2. The Retailer has no clue on there monthly issue regular prepaid customers
              3. I followed up through out the year with Indiatimes.com. I spoke with different manager's and CCA's for the follow up, but no outcome and imagine i hvae to follow up for each month issues, that too after paying in advance.

              Kindly suggest what can be done.. I have all the bills and some mails of follow up..

                Shopping.indiatimes.com is a fraud. The times of India is their mouthpiece who advertise everyday in their daily newspaper and do daylight robbery. My order[protected] placed last month for which they have collected the money did not send the products at all.
                All my complaints have fallen into deaf ears and their service centre employees are all liers who never take complaints seriously. All is an eyewash.

                Shopping.indiatimes.com is a fraud. The times of India is loosing its truthness by advertise everyday in their daily newspaper and do daylight robbery. My order[protected] I placed order of sony cybershot last month for which they have collected the money by credit card did not send the products at all.I waited a month later when i called they told my order as been cancelled due to non confirmation of credit card i told them to cancell it. later i got bank call that money as been credited an 1st month EMI as been taken when i called indiatimes i had bad experience they got connect after 25 minuts they told they will refund my money i asked them to give my product but she told she ill get back to me with in 48 hrs but nobody called me
                All my complaints have fallen into deaf ears and their service centre employees are all liers who never take complaints seriously. this is my last call to u all pls take my complaint an give little care am not expecting good care from you
                I agree with the above. We have been suffereing the same for the last 15 days . We ordered a blackberry which we never received. Everytime we call up the customer care, they promise to revert wthin 24hrs but to no avail. Looking at the numbers of such cases, I am aghast, I think we need to sue them for duping people and causing such harrassment.
                I am fully agree with the above statments, since I am also suferring with the same situation. I booked a consignment thru order no.[protected] in the month of Sept. 2009. It was ordered as birthday present to my son which is on[protected]. Still not received any information from India Times. The Customer care phone no. never respond.

                I personally advise to not to deal with such a fraud and it is to be enquired by Govt. of India since everyday they are publishing big advertisements.
                I couldnt agree more. I ordered for blackberry 8830 on 24th sep. Paid for it through credit card. Its about a month now and my product never reached. They had shipped the product through a domestic courier services called 'Zip couriers' and they dont have thir contact info. This courier company seems to be non existant. I called, i mailed, i threatened to go to consumer court. Nothing seems to matter to them. After dozens of calls with average wait time of around 15 mins, i had to ask them to refund the money. They said, to cancel the order they'll take one week and then another 10 days to refund. I have to wait for my money for no reason. Wonder how businesses still operate with such dismal and non ethical standards

                I am so thankful to u for I was about to buya mibile phone from indiatimes shopping but seeing all this has saved me from getteing cheated.

                I just happened to order for a product for which an advertisement was given as 4000 plus product offered for Rs 2000 in indiatimes.

                I later on got to know the product was not even worth Rs. 1300 but charged 2000 by indiatimes.

                I later got the order cancelled through the customer service, but only to receive the product 2 days later and was told cancellation cannot be done and someone in customer service had given me wrong commitment.

                One of the product is not in workable condition, which has been sent back, but I am yet to receive the replacement product.

                Customer service is so pathetic, they lack knowledge of indiatimes shopping or at times rude,
                and each time I called, one would contradict the other.

                There are emails to customerservice and other emails which nobody responds, it is just there for namesake.

                Horrible is not the word. I hope this experience will refrain others from being gullible to indiatimes advertisements.
                Oh yeas I 100% agree with you these indiatimes shopping is a big cheater, never ever buy anything from them. I am also the victim of the same. I am waiting for one of my order cancellation, it been more than 60 days which i ordered in may 2010. But still waiting from them to get my money back. Emailing them and calling them is like WORTHLESS, nobody respondes to it. And customer executives are Hopeless. they dont know anything about anything. They are just a computer operator and they all speak same. PATHETIC.!!

                  While doing payment for my order at Indiatimes Shopping using my SBI Debit Card via ccavenue gateway, it showed "Payment Error". But the amount was charged from my account. So i decided to place a complaint through their customer care in email '[protected]@indiatimes.co.in'. But when i send a mail to this mail id, i immediately receive a automatically generated mail delivery failure message from their website. I was sending mail to this email id plenty of times. But no use.
                  i have booked my oder on 31/08/2009 but yet not rececived my product . product book no. [protected] of product n. T99i 2.0" dual sim touch screen mobile

                    Hi,

                    I made a purchas of vouchers from Indiatimes. Though the payment was clear still order was not delivered in 15days when I called up they said they require further 2 days to investigate but even after that no success. Just received call that we are issuing a Cift Card to you of same amout. My payment was lost and I didn't received my cash, as they said its against our policy. Second time again the same has been repeated, payment taken order not delivered in time. This time I their gift card.
                    Please suggest what action can be taken against Indiatimes Shooping in this regards.

                    Indiatimes Shooping in my view never verify that their delears are not false. I think they just register them.
                    If orders are not delivered they just say, our deleiver have been removed from the list. Nothing else.
                    and will never give you your cash back.

                      I have ordered chocolate online from Shopping.Indiatimes.com on 28th July (order #[protected]. They failed to delivered chocolate and they themselves cancled my order on 18th August 2009. Now they are saying that they will not return the cash amount back instead they will give some gift card. If they are failed to delivered it they should return the money back in my account. Please help me in getting it.

                        I informed u that i m purchase a Digital Camera on Rs.3650/- on Dt 10th Aug 2009,
                        but not yet despatched till now, delivery times maximum 7 Days,
                        sir i placed 1gb mp3 players order on phone i paid by credid card but till i have not get my order number and other details
                        sir i placed order for portable sewing machine on 25/09/2009 and i paid through credit card while putting order, your person given me the order ref no[protected] and order no[protected] and assured me to send the shipment within 10 working days. After 5 days i got a call from courier office here in Bangalore that my shipment has been arrived and you have to pay the amount while taking delivery i shocked and request them to check with my order so as to confirm that my payment already received to India times while ordering they told that they are not responsible for that if want the product i have to pay cash other wise they will send back the product. After that i contacted your customer care executive min of 4 times through my mob [protected] every time i got a same response that we will check the issue and come back to me with in 24 hrs. But till today i didn't get any call from your end. While taking order your people is so obedient and if any inconvenience occur to customer no body be series to resolve the issue. This is not way to serve the people who trust upon you and make the payment on line. please give me feedback at the earliest otherwise cancel my order and give my money back.

                            BUT TILL DATE I.E AFTER 1 YEAR, I HAVE RECEIVED ONLY 5 NOS GIFT CERTIFICATE @Rs150/- I.E TOTAL WORTH Rs750/- ONLY VIDE THEIR EMAIL DT 26/09/08.

                            i bought one baby laptop order no[protected] sub order no 1597170 from indiatimes and they gave me a digital document that they shipped my product on 14.10.2008 via TNT courier AWB No[protected] and i called TNT customer care on 22.10.08 @ 10.30 pm executive told me that indiatimes gave that product to them on 22.10.08 and they will deliver it on 23.10.08 and indiatimes giving promise on its website that 60% money back on purchase more than 1000/- item i purchaed 1224/- items from indiatimes and they didnt gave me 60% money back as well till now n neither the product is deliver and apart from it they are making fool to customers.

                            so you please tell indiatimes to compensate for the same.

                            we all unitedly should have to sue indiatimes shopping for making fool to customers and they have to compensate to manoj and other people like him.

                            Indiatimes Shopping — Gift offer has not delivered

                            On 6th of June I placed an order of LAPTOP TABLE through telephone, against credit card. The condition of advertisement in Times of India, that if, the payment made by credit card, the company will give gift of lunch box worth Rs.160/- I received the main order on June 9, 2009 . On inquiring the concerned person I was told that gift will be delivered after seven days of main products. Since now I have not received the gift item. The Times people are not responding my inquires and try to neglect.
                            WHAT ACTION WILL BE TAKEN BY YOU?
                            sir, gift of Rs 500 was not delivered to me.

                            I bought some microwave oven tools from indiatimes.com in Dec. Then i was told to become a member of Times of India Book Club for which I paid Rs. 500. I was promised a gift voicher of Rs. 500 which i was not given after repeated calls. Around 18 calls. Then I was given a number which was outdated. Again i called and again i was given the same outdated number. I spent Rs. 1000 on phone bill only. These people are playing games with me. Every time I make a call I am told either to wait or am given the same outdated number. I think I should register a case of cheating.

                              I cancelled the order about 10-12 days ago.I received the Products soon after cancellation, I was advised by the executive that a courier Guy will come and take the delivered products away, which unfortunately did not work, noone ever came or enquired about it. The sub Order.However I didn't receive the Bangle set for which I paid for which the status was shipped.
                              Yesterday eve their was a deleivery made at my place but my name was on the box inside that the Invoice was at someone else's name.Jewel box was broken.This is not what I originally ordered.Hence I am highly dissatisfied with the procedure.

                                I send rakhi from sifymall(indiatimes) to haryana.First they send to jaipur and then resend to haryana.I placed an order well in advance and select a shipping date 30th july.On 1st August when i called them, they tell me that they send to jaipur when i tell them that karnal is in haryana not in jaipur they resend it to karnal.On 3rd, 4th i continuously called them to know the status, they said on 5th it will be delivered 100%. on 10th i again called them to ask why it is not delivered as yet.they says it returned back to us due to not find the address by courier company.Actually Aramex(courier company) dosent have a branch in karnal.They refund my money back by canceling the order but it is not the matter of canceling the order but it is the matter of relationship.

                                  Indiatimes Shopping — Flowers not delivered on birthday

                                  I made a birthday flowers order through Indiatimes shopping on 24 mar 10. I mentioned on the order page to deliver the product on 29 mar 10. The product listing page boasted that it would be a same day delivery of order is received bedore 2PM on the day. On contacting customer care, they said that I can expect it only after 10 days. There is a disclaimer on the page which mentions that product will be delivered on same day. I made the order 5 days before the birthday and even then they could not deliver it. Please let Indiatimes shopping know that they cannot have disclaimer on their product listing page which gives wrong information to people.

                                    I had made on order for online delivery of rakhi gift to my brother on 30/07/2009 and on 31/07/2009 some other procut has been delivered, since that day i am repeatedly making calls to customer care and writting mails 2-3 on daily basis but till date no action has been taken.

                                    I told them that since this is a rakhi gift it will have no value if it reaches after rakhi, but they are in mood to listen and they take things so lightly that i am amazed.                                     my father had purchased a drill machine from the advertisement given in the paper . Arround 31st may he ordered it &got on 4th june 2009 in nagpur now we are in delhi and the warranty was of six months and the bill is misplaced .The blade of the machine has come out & is not fixing . If cant be changed is there any place were it can get repaired.

                                      I have order buke of 8 roses but still not delievered.I have ordered for date 04.09.09.

                                      I booked order for GODREJ WASHING MACHINE FULLY AUTOMATIC on o4 Oct 2009 with your executive named Ms Kanika vide order No.[protected] . I asked her to make a note for colour washing machine i.e Blue colour or dolphin blue, Mahroon colour. She stated that she will put a remark and assured me to get the colour of my choice.
                                      To day ie. 6th Oct 2009, I got the delivery from Vibgyor Marketing and Service, 172 Vaishali, Pitam Pura, Delhi-110034 vide order No.[protected] with following discrepencies as under:
                                      a) Buyer name is given on the invoice is wrong.which read- Mr. A Poswal, 211, Nalanda Apartments, Alaknanda, . New Delhi. My correct name and address is - Col.A.C.Poswal, 211, Narmada Apartments, Alaknanda, New Delhi-110019. It should be corrected and new invoice should be sent.
                                      b) I booked for blue or dolphin blue or mahroon colour whereas they have delivered me silver grey. I am not interested in this colour. It should be immediately replaced.My choice for colours are available with the distributor i.e. Vibgyor Marketing and Services.
                                      c) Gift voucher of Rs. 500.00 was not handed over
                                      The above complained was registered with the distributor ie. Official name Ms Kuljit Kaur.
                                      I also made complaint with your customer care Mr. Yashwant vide my complaint No. 245749 dated 06 Oct 2009. I was asked by customer care executive to ring up No.[protected] and [protected].
                                      I tried these numbers. Call was connected twice and I was put to wait- kept on hearing taped voice i.e your call is very important to us.Soon executive will attend you . I kept on listening your recorded tape for first time for 20 minutes and second time about 30 minute.
                                      May I request some one responsible official in India times shopping to attend to my complaints on priority and provide me relacement and Godrej washing machine fully automatic with my colour choice.
                                      An early action will be highly appreciated.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        Ref: Indiatimes Order No.[protected], Sub Order No. 1999888

                                        I write this mail with the trust and confidence that this forum will penalize Indiatimes Shopping for the issue posed to me and the mental agony I was subject to. The whole issue stems from the fact that Lufthansa's air miles redemption partner, Indiatimes Shopping dealt my order with a high-handed and monopolistic approach. As a result of this, I have lost 27, 941 miles, wasted a lot of my valuable time and taken a lot of mental stress.

                                        To quickly summarize the whole issue

                                        1. I placed an order with Indiatimes Shopping for a Blaupunkt Kingston MP47 Car Stereo on 1st April 2009 by redeeming 36, 000 Lufthansa miles, which got debited from my Miles and More account online.
                                        2. As per Indiatimes Shopping website, the product would be delivered in 5 working days. However, I did not receive any call or email from Indiatimes on my order inspite of 5 working days having passed.
                                        3. So, I called Indiatimes customer care to check on my order and they informed me that the payment is being verified. Till date, I did not understand what does Indiatimes need to verify when the necessary miles (36, 000) for the product was debited from my account online on 1st April 2009.
                                        4. Since then, with lot of patience I kept calling Indiatimes customer care every now and then to check on the order until I was told on 17th April 2009 that the payment got verified.
                                        5. Now that the payment was verified, I called Indiatimes again to check when I would receive my product. I was again given a false commitment that the product would be delivered in 5 working days from 17th April 2009, which again did not happen.
                                        6. I had to follow up with Indiatimes again as the commitment was not kept.
                                        7. Subsequently around 27th April, Indiatimes customer service personnel called me and informed that the product is being despatched.
                                        8. However, around 28th/29th April, another Indiatimes customer service personnel calls me and informs that the particular product is not in stock and hence I will have to cancel the order. I did not agree to this because they had already taken a month to process and finally ask me to cancel, which was not acceptable. By this time I was starting to lose my patience.
                                        9. Finally on 30th April 2009, I receive a shipment from Indiatimes and I was relieved that this nightmare is finally over.
                                        10. The relief was only short-lived until when I opened the package and to my shock, they had sent a Blaupunkt Milano MP 26 model, which does not have a frontal USB port. Moreover, this particular piece was an old stock and the package was in tatters.
                                        11. I immediately called and blasted Indiatimes. All they had to say was, return the product and cancel the order. On my insistence that I will not cancel the product and I need the specific model published in the shopping website i.e. Blaupunkt Kingston MP 47, they asked me to write in a complaint mail.
                                        12. So I spent hours (just like what I'm doing writing this mail) narrating the issue.
                                        13. Subsequent to my complaint mail, I received calls from Indiatimes customer service personnel coercing me to cancel the order, which I did not agree to. I told them that it was their fault to have listed a product which was not in stock and the worst part informing the customer about the same after a month.
                                        14. While the excuse from Indiatimes was that the product is not in stock, the said product was never removed from the website. When I asked Indiatimes about the fact that the product is still listed, I was given a very casual answer that it is managed by some other team and it would be removed shortly.                                         15. I was driven so much to my wits end that I asked Indiatimes to beg, borrow or steal and send me the published product.
                                        16. Subsequently, I calmed down and in order to resolve the issue amicably, I gave Indiatimes the option to provide me an alternate Sony product but even this request was not honoured.
                                        17. I was finally coerced/forced to cancel the product as I had no other option and I did not want to take the wrong Blaupunkt Milano MP 26.
                                        18. As per Indiatimes procedure, I returned the product and the same was received by them in good condition on 17th June 2009.
                                        19. The 36, 000 miles were credited back to my Miles and More account on 19th June 2009.
                                        20. While I was planning to take this issue against Indiatimes with the consumer courts / forums in India, I was clueless how to redeem the re-credited miles because there is no other option than going back and redeeming at Indiatimes, which I'm skeptical to do after this bad experience.
                                        21. In the interim, Miles and More has debited 27, 941 miles on 1st July 2009 with narration "Unused award miles".

                                        I'm also attaching the entire mail communication with Indiatimes and related documents on this issue for your perusal.

                                        I'm sure you would acknowledge without doubt, the fact that Indiatimes has dealt with me with a high-handed and monopolistic approach. In the whole bargain, I have lost 27, 941 miles and my valuable time in addition to the mental stress I have been subject to.

                                        I have written separately to Lufthansa to re-credit the 27, 941 miles.

                                        As compensation for the treatment meted out to me by Indiatimes Shopping, I request this forum to direct Indiatimes Shopping to send me a brand new Blaupunkt Kingston MP47 with the free tweeters as listed in the website and Rs. 100, 000/- for my valuable time and the mental agony/stress that I was subject to.

                                        Indiatimes Shopping in my opinion is a fraud shopping site.

                                        I had ordered a perfume of Rs. 570 from Indiatimes Shopping website.
                                        After 7 days i have received my order. But they send me invoice of Rs. 549 for the same item i had ordered.

                                        This way they charged Rs. 21 extra from me. I think I am not the first victim of them.

                                        They are really a fraud shopping site.

                                        There is not matter of Rs. 21, But here is the matter of cheating with customer.

                                        I am suppose to file a complaint in consumer forum against them.

                                        Friends never shop with this site because they are a fraud site.
