I ordered a box of chocolates(Ferrero Rocher Chocolates- 24) to be delivered at Delhi Address on 8th Feb. Order No:[protected]. I called on 12th Feb to check status of my order. All listed phone numbers were not working and email to customer service bounced back. I finally got hold of somebody at customer service. She told me that order will be processed and will be delivered in next 10 working days. I told them to immediately cancel the order because I sent these chocolates for my niece who got fracture. I didn't want to sent chocolates a month after the fracture. Any ways, after arguing for 1/2 hour customer service person canceled the order (Cancellation no-944306). Three days later somebody again called from Indiatimes and told me that they have shipped the order. I asked them why did they ship now after cancellation...they had no answer. Now I got the parcel on 21st Feb...guess what Indiatimes used the box of Ferrero Rocher and inside they had local chocolates. I feel really cheated. I called them again but there is no reply from Indiatimes as usual.

It is confirmed that indiatimes shopping fraud racket is involved .

the matter has already been filed in the national consumer court against your shopping site and dealers.

also the complaint has been registered with cyber rime cell FBI/national consumer complaint cell/

inspite of repested reminders you have not shown any interest and rather claiming web proof id.

now the matter will be resoved with compensation for fraud and misuse of customer info on the pretext of shopping.

i purchased e-phone through telli-calling.Reference no is-[protected]. after one and half month charger of mobile became non-operational & touch screen property of mobile starts malfunctioning.wen i contacted customercare they gave me a nonresponsive telephone no[protected] of dealer from where indiatimes ordered product.
my question is, indiatimes takes money from customer, so company should be responsible.this mobile is hardly of worth 5000 for which company charges 10, 000.even then, such a unproffestional & mean response ? if indiatimes continue to market such type o[censored]nbranded product credential of the comany would soon be lost.
we customer hope better service at least from big name.

My daughter from France bought for us on Nov.06 2008 for more than 8220rs of chocolate for Christmas on the Indiatimes shopping internet portal. Order Number:[protected] to be delivered to us in Bangalore, Her debit card was charged on 13/11/2008 by Times Inte Delhi, 8220, 00 Roupies, and again on 11/12/2008 she was charged a second time for the same order, Paiement Carte 061108, Times Inte Delhi, 8220, 00 Roupie Ind, - 131, 04 EUR, we sent almost 30 emails ( without responses) we made calls to the customer service, speaking to Mr.Shailesh Kumar and Charanjeet Kaur who promised a quick resolution, nothing happen, we got finally an email asking for the debit card number, we emailed them back with the debit card number, no response, we got another 2 emails asking for the bank statements showing the charges, we sent them that twice, and till today, no response at all. We called them again and again and again, they come with the same response, our accounting is looking into it, same response for almost 2 weeks. I am a frequent buyer on the internet, but i can say that my experience with indiatimes shopping is the worst ever and wouldn't advise to anyone to purchase anything from them on the internet, their service is the worst.

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Manish Rathore sending this mail from USA. I'm having a tough time since last 30 days dealing with Indiatimes Shopping the online shopping which I did on dated 24th of Nov and booked one order for following items online through Indiatimes shopping:
a) Cake+Flowers --- Shipped
b) Teddy Bear ----- Canceled
c) Steam Iron ----- Not been delivered nor I got the refund after 30 days.

I booked one order for all of the above to deliver it to my sisters place at Bhopal (MP) on her B'day.
Although Indiatimes Shopping delivered the Cake+Flower on the day it was suppose to be shipped on dated 26th Nov but after that I had a tough time dealing with Indiatimes and kind of response I received with them is really disgusting.
They did not deliver the above sub order Teddy Bear and Steam Iron at the same address. When I started following up to Indiatimes Shopping Customer Care office after making lots of International calls and informed their agent upfront that I couldn't wait for your response for long over the phone since I'm making international calls to follow up for my orders in spite of all that they put me every time on hold for a while and when i asked the status about why both the products has not been delivered even after 20/25 days they gave some weird reasons and after that I asked them to cancel both the orders since I'm not satisfied with the service and kind of response. The agent over the phone she gave me assurance that I canceled your both orders and we'll refund your money in your ICICI bank A/c. In-fact I received the mail of cancellation of the orders.

However, After 4/5 days I got another mail from one of the Indiatimes Shopping representative that we have canceled your one Teddy Bear (b) order and please check about other product which is Steam Iron (c) has been Shipped or not. Though I received the refund only for Teddy Bear order in my ICICI Bank A/c but the problem is till date even after 30 days neither Steam Iron (c) have delivered to the address nor I received the refund for same order. However, Indiatimes charged me 60 Rs for shipping the product.

On the whole I'm really pissed off the kind of service I received with them one of the product (Steam Iron) has not been yet delivered after paying well in advance including shipping charges. Almost 30 days has gone and I wasted lot of time and money each time after making International calls to Indiatimes Shopping Office.

I tried my best to get hold of them after sending lot of mails and calling them up...but unfortunately I didn't receive any positive response from them and now even they stopped sending any response to my mails.

Hence this mail I'm writing to take the stringent action against Indiatimes Shopping to please look into the matter and sought out the problem...I do have all the transactions mail of Indiatimes Shopping based on your request I'm ready to provide all that.

The bottom line is extreme customer dissatisfaction and fraud...Indiatimes Shopping management is hardly bother to look into the matter.

I would be really pleased if I'll receive any positive response from this board.

i bought a mobile from indiatimes for Rs 10000 because there was a add in the Mumbai mirror that i will receive 50 % cash back on asking about the offer i was informed that i will get a gift Certificate and no cash so i agreed to buy it but i did not receive any certificate with the mobile then i call indiatimes person he informed me that i will get it by mail but i never received it, i received a mail from Indiatimes stating that i have already received the certificate after inquiring about my certificate on the 19 th of December but i never received it i received the mail for the first time today that is 21 December after 4- months also they are saying that my certificates are expired because i did not use it but i never received it an also they said that i cannot merge the certificates which was not mentioned to me at all
please help me this is open cheating - [protected]

more than 20 times i mailed indiatimes people regarding this issue. they 1st check the status that on 6th i ordered and they shipped to me on 22nd and i received on 23th oct 2008.



the indiatimes people didnt know simple diff


shipping date(22 oct 2008 ) minus ordered date (6th oct 2008) is greter than seven days



deliverey date is 23th oct 2008.



they are telling that they shipped my product with in seven days if so then ask them to send me the proof that they sended me with in seven days.



coz indiatimes courier partner says that indiatimes people gave that product to them on 22nd oct 2008.



now indiatimes peoples are telling lie
