I have placed an order for a Car Stereo against your ad in the Nav Bharat Times around December 20, 2010. As per the advertisement, you have offered a Car Stereo for INR 999 against the MRP of INR 3999 and were supposed to have the following features.
 MP3/MP4 player.
 USB and MMC support.
 SD Card support.
 FM.
The product was delivered to me on January 12, 2010. Although, the mentioned features are printed on the cover -box of the delivered product but the product does not have a CD drive and thus, cannot support MP3/MP4. Besides this, the actual product delivered stands neither close to the one shown in the ad printed in the news paper nor on the cover-box of the product.
Further, would also like to mention that promises made regarding the quality and features of the product now sound false.
Nevertheless, the product delivered to me for INR 999 against the printed rate of INR 3999 seems so locally made and is actually available in the market for INR 600. Having said that, I don’t mean to challenge the pricing and have a propensity to pay much more than that but for me trust and the quality is what matters. Please note that an original car stereo of SONY is available for INR 3950.

I am a regular customer of Indiatimes and have bought other product as well. The same is absolutely good and the quality is appreciable but this time the experience is quite upsetting.
Would request to please look into the matter and arrange to replace the product as per the product shown in the picture and the features mentioned in the news paper ad. Please emphasize on quality.
Considering the trust I have in India Times Shopping; look forward to a favorable response and immediate action. Would further request for an update on my complain as the product had already been collected from my place on January 18, 2010.

    this is in reference to the below mentioned mail. yesterday (18th January 2010) my mobile was sent to Texnix for repair and today i got a call from Mr.Kishore Mulani stating that my mobile cannot be rapired under warranty as they have found moisture on to the pannel. i would like to bring to your kind notice that my mobile was send for repair on 3/12/2009 for the first time when i found that the same problem is there and the same was communicated to indiatimes on mail i got assurity from indiatimes that they will get the product repalced my mobile was sent back to the dealer on 21/12/2009. it was a surprise to me that mobile was not replaced and the same defective mobile was send back to me on 06/01/2010 stating that it has been repaired. i just want to ask management of Indiatimes times if they cannot stay by their commitment why do they assure anyone of replacement. stop making fool of others. it is nothing but you have been cheating people and playing around with the money From 3/12/2009 till date the entire management of indiatimes have been playing in words do not worry i will take my matter to press now. Everytime i was told that there might be problems of Alignment and it will be reactified very soon but today i was told that they have found water on the pannel i would like to state one thing that nobody is so fool that they will put their mobile on water.

    today 13th January 2010 at 4:55PM i have been contacted by Mr. Kishore, Owner of Teknix, he told me that he cannot get the product (Blackberry 9500 Strom) replaced but he can get my product (Blackberry 9500 Strom) repaired. after consultation with my lawyer he has simply denied the proposal for repair, as per commitment done by indiatimes in their mail they have assured me that they will go for replacement of the product.     I send mony for Sigmatel S400 handset, but different, defective, non-working, dead mobile was sent by Teknix. As per advice from Indiatimes, I sent back the mobile 4 times, but each time Teknix returned the box without opening it. The pesons do not respond to phone call.

    Now the dead phone is lying with me !!! Everyone is advised to avoid the trap of Indiatimes Shopping.

      I went for the Time of India readers offer during Diwali season 2009 for a car music player (Rs.999) + a Rs.1000/- which I can redeem for any item( thats the person confirmed me when I bough this over phone)
      He also asked me to go a book membership offer (Rs.500 for membership + Rs.500 online-voichers which I can use to buy *anything* on indiatimes shopping)

      To my surprise, I only received the product and noticed that the quality is so poor( so even if I excuse this), the complaint which I am bringing out here - is that they did not send the Gift-vouchers for more than 1.5 months and after repeated calling they gave me the coupons ( and still have not received the Book club membership login detaills ), but alas - these coupons of worth Rs.1500/- is not something like what they told (purchase anything online) - they have a dedicated select items and the coupons are valid only for them !! ( and you know - all these items are Rs.10000+ !!! ) ...You can imagine the way people get cheated by offering worthless product and forcing you to buy more worthless things. This will be my first and last trial with Time of India readers offer or shopping.indiatimes.com .. Will never ever try this out.

      Just bringing it out here - so that people are cautious about such cheating, and don't get carried-away by the offers and mention they make.
      In my opinion , futurebazaar.com is far far better and I would purchased around Rs.20K worth of stuffs online over a period of time and have never faced such issues.

      I was purchased a wonder dicer Dt.19/10/09.The India times mention in Dewali ad Rs. 500/ gift coupon give me .But when I receive a delivery .They don't send me any coupon.I send a complaint many times to cust. care, But they don't listen to me.

      My self Sunil Kumar. I have recently booked a order after saw the datawind ads on B4U channel. In that offer datawind promise me to give Scratch card but I didn't received any scratch card with tablet. No one is picking the call and If call connected after long wait they disconnect call without any information. I received faulty keypad case for the same I raise a ticket on datawind portal. ticket no is- GL0215HR[protected], Datawind is worst Company in the World.

        I purchased a 8GB Pen Drive Camera from IndiaTimes vide order no:[protected]
        for Rs.1399. I received a faulty product which was not working. I contacted the company which had couriered it, they asked me to send it to them saying they would replace teh same. I spent on courier charges to courier it to them and after that I never received a replacement.

        IndiaTimes Customer service email returns emails `undelivered'. The Customer Service Officer's email ID is faulty. There IS NO TELEPHONE NUMBER ON THE SITE.

        I hence lost money. DO NOT SHOP ON INDIATIMES.

          I have placed an order for NIKON digital camera on 20th oct 2009, through shopping.indiatimes.com web site. After the regular process they have informed me that my product will be shipped to me with in a week. Subsequently 25,089.00 INR have been charged in my credit card. But after that I have not received my product. I have send them numerous e-mails and contacted over phone. one month back they informed me that due to non avaialbility in courier service they are cancelling my orders and will refund back the money. But they have not refunded my money yet. They are certainly doing some sort of cheating with their valued customers. And this web based companies should be banned from doing e business. I am planning to take legal steps through consumer forum.

          Indiatimes Shopping — money not refunded

          I purchased a sony cybershot s930 and adidas man back pack combinly of rs 6839. and my order number was[protected].i orderd this on 3 january 2010. and made an online payment by my debit card.my order was aproved but after some days it was cancelled by india times due non shipment area. and as per there records they refunded my money on 8 january 2010 for one product and for the other product on 13th january 2010.but still i havent recived my money back. i contacted my bank even they told me that it has not been refunded and i lodged a complaint to inditime about this.they asked my bank statement as a proof i sent them a softcopy of that. and now its more than 1.5 months i havent recived my money. and every time they make lame excuses about this. i had word with there employes prem kumar, alok and many more they never resolved my problem

            A crap service called WAP model for the day has been forcefully activated on my BSNL postpaid. I am not able to find way out of this. BSNL guys doesn't seems bother much about this though i complained several time.The link provided by indiatimes to unsubcribe from the service doens't work at all. Please do something to get it deactivated. Thanks.[protected]

              I have recharged my mobile by this website through the online Banking. They sent a receipt for the recharge with a transaction ID. But the recharge is not done. I have checked the service provider with the given transaction ID. But they replied "there are no transactions done with this ID you may check with biller". Then i forwarded many complaints and mails. But there is no responds. My money is cheated.

                I would like to bring an online fraud and cheater racket run under Inidatimes shopping times com. They try different means to steal the details of credit cards by telling themselves as representative of indiatimes shopping.There is no fixed corresponding addresses of this website http://shopping.indiatimes.com/ where person can contact to there office.they provided some phone number which doesn't work and nobody responses.
                I had placed a online order for two things from there site on 21 December. On 22 December Representative for Indiatimes shopping Neha( phone number she used to call me[protected] asked for 16digit card numbers, CVV number,name ,date and other details of my visa card.i provided only my 16 digit number.than my order has been canceled for refund and status on indiatimes shopping is showing refunded.
                they are saying that they have already refunded my money in my account but i haven't received money in my account.
                they are not responding my call and mails about it.

                    On 24th August 2009 I have given Rs.2794/ twice by mistake online to Shopping Indiatimes. On25th they asked me( over my cellphone) whether I want two handsets.I answered them that it is by mistake,and I want one only.On26th they refunded one amount.Since then they are ignoring all myeMails. All they are doing is that each time showing me a ticket no. And thanking me for my reply.It is sophisticated cheating! They can check their account department very easily.I also gave them my payment slip of ICICI credit card of Sept.09 which shows all the
                    details. They have cheated me!On this Mobile day(29th Dec.09) this
                    is my complaint for mobile!

                          Got trapped into the attractive offers being published in Times of India for Indiatimes Shopping. However on reading thru the enormous number of complaints posted on your website, I have realised that Indiatimes Shopping is a fraudulent website taking advantage of India's lax judicial system.

                          I ordered a Sigmatel S22 mobile handset on 12 December, 2009 and paid Rs. 5189 vide order no.[protected] so that I could gift it to my wife on her wedding anniversary ten days later. On the account status page, the order was shown as shipped on 15 December 2009 thru Courier M/s Aramex vide AWB No. [protected]. On contacting the courier company, they informed that no such shipment has been handed over to them by this AWB No. Further they also informed that its a normal practice followed by Indiatimes that they allocate a non-existent shipment number to fool the customers and it takes them months to arrange many products. Customers keep waiting endlessly thinking that the shipment is in transit.

                          The Indiatimes Shopping call centre is also trained/instructed to give false assurances to customers as they also do not have any access to any additional information except the incorrect information available on customer's account status page.

                          Till date I have received nothing but false assurances from Indiatimes for Rs. 5189/-. I suggest this mal-practice by Indiatimes Shopping should be reported to MRTPC & Consumer Forum for appropriate action.

                          I advise all readers of Times of India, not to buy anything from Indiatimes Shopping, as its a complete fraudulent site who forget the customer after the payment is realised. The products are never delivered; in cases where customers consistently keep complaining, hey refund back the money.

                          Further better quality products at cheaper rates are available in your local China Bazaar, Ghaffar Market etc.
                          A month back i had placed an oreder for readers digest subscription. On the same day I had recieved a call from indiatimes shopping regarding membership by paying Rs 550.00 . After a few days I paid Rs 550 for an envelope recvd by VPP but no membership card or voucher was inside. Indiatimes is not responding. Fraud I would say. Duped of Rs 555.

                            i have purchased "Rani combo offer (Hyderabadi pearl sets) ,advertised on 20th of november 2009 from "TIMES OF INDIA NEWS PAPER-READERS OFFER " @ INDIATIMES SHOPPING.

                            They have given me reference no. as [protected],payment of Rs.3500+250 (delivery charges)was made through credit card,,and they promised to deliver the product with in 13 working days

                            but they failed to deliver the product and upon enquiry in their help line [protected] ,I would get different kinds of replies each time and each time I am made to wait for 20 to 30 minutes on line to get a reply and some times they don't answer even after waiting for an hour on line...
                            After this painfull experience I tried to contact by mail ,for the first 2 mails which I have sent,
                            I got queries as to when I have booked,news paper name,product name my reference number ,last four digits of the credit card number and shipping address and billing address and I answered all their queries

                            and peculierly I get a mail stating that my order is not traced and asked me to give me the 9 digit order number when I was given a 15 digit order number.
                            and I tried to ask what is this 9 digit order number ? and my mails are bouncing back as automatically generated mail delivery system..I felt then that I have been taken for a ride.."Times group "which I seriously doubt is running a biggest fraud in Indian history .

                              Hi,

                              I'm G. Ravi Krishna, a customer who ordered a product from the Indiatimes on 14th Dec, 2009. As per this, the amount of Rs5,140/- has been deducted from my account, Citibank Credit Card, on the same day.

                              Till now I didn't get any status on my order and no body is telling me my Order number and shipment status. Am much disappointed with the Customer Service executives who are giving me utterly wrong information and false promises. I also sent as a mail from this same email id the Credit Card statement where the amount is mentioned.

                              Wonder what kind of service they you providing to the customers. I've been calling to the Customer Care for continuously past 7 days and every time they are telling me that I would be getting a call before 7.30pm end of the day, and till now no body has turned up.

                              I also tried to call the manager on the number "[protected]" but didn't get any response on this.
                              Reference nos provided by the customer care executives are [protected] / [protected]

                              Not sure whom to contact and what to tell them. Need help.

                                    I had orderd for a kurthi but received a different one from Indiatimes. I was assured for a replacement soon, but it is more than 45 days that neither I got a replacement nor money back. Today I got an email from ICare (Indiatimes customer service) where they are asking me to directly get in touch with the vendor. This is unfair! I never went to the vendor directly, I went through Indiatimes shopping so it is their responsibility to ensure I get the resolution.

                                      I the undersigned purchased 3 G E-star Touch Phone by seeing in your Times of India news paper. Whereas the above said mobile i return to Indiatimes shopping for refund they accepted to refund but due to Fake IMEI number instead of refund they return the set by saying above said mobile not made in India. To registered i have tried 3 days by standing in queue for more than 3 to 4 hours that was accessed due to this, set is working and loss to me Rs 6750/-. Please not to Encarege this kind of product to make loss to Indian citizens. Please publish my mail so that others should not be fooled.

                                      sir,
                                      I the undersigned purchased 3 G E-star Touch Phone by seeing in your Times of India news paper. Whereas the above said mobile i return to Indiatimes shopping for refund they accepted to refund but due to Fake IMEI number instead of refund they return the set by saying above said mobile not made in India. To registered i have tried 3 days by standing in queue for more than 3 to 4 hours that was accessed due to this, set is working and loss to me Rs 6750/-. Please not to Encarege this kind of product to make loss to Indian citizens. Please publish my mail so that others should not be fooled. Even now they sale same product dated 24.01.2010 by saying valid IMEI no. Let them replace the set let me see whether it is working

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I have places an order online on 8th Nov 09 to Shoppling.indiatimes.com vide order no[protected] and made the payment online through Credit card for Rs. 2149.00.

                                        Inspite of regular folloups and complaints logged with Customer service Dept on Phone and on mail I haven't received proper response.

                                        On requesting them to pls cancell the order and refund the amount, their executive committed that the amount will be refunded by 8th Dec 09. But still the amount has not been refunded to me.


                                        You are kindly requested to take the complaint and give me the resolution. Each time calling to customer services creates mental harresment to me.

                                        Indiatimes Online Shopping — Refund Amount

                                        Myself is Vivekkumar Vaghela. I ordered online for three product on 6th and 7th January,2012 with the use of my credit card. The product numbers are as following,

                                        But I gave online request to cancel my orders on 7th January,2012. And also called to customer care for the same.
                                        Even though these products shipped to my shipping address on 10th and 11th January,2012 and I refused to take and sent back.
                                        When I called customer care for refund the amount paid by me with my credit card, but they informed me to wait for 48 hours again and again.
                                        I don’t know why these guys are not helping for my inconvenience. I request you to take some necessary steps for the same.
