It seems you people are not bothered at all even though since last three days i am facing the problems with my mail account. Neither I am able to login nor able to receive new mails in my mail inbox. Don't know what to do?

    Whenever a new user registers on timesjobs.com, at the bottom of the page it says that u will get a free gift voucher of rs.150. However when u try to use that voucher it is unusable. On querying with its helpline, it says that the same has expired and gives an expiry date which is prior to your registration date with timesjobs itself. This means that the voucher has expired days before u even actually receive it in your mail box. On asking a friend about the same we noticed that they issue the same Giftcertificate number to everybody. Or in other words they make fools out o[censored]s.

    indiatimes shopping, is an good site to shop, i have shopped many times without anyproblems and orderd item will reach us by the next day, i disagree with this
    things are costly on indiatimes. example - see mobiles on indiaplaza.in and indiatimes.com
    difference would be sometimes 200 to 300 rupees.

      I renewed recently email(what they call meramail) recently on my domain.But iI did not use the same and asked for refund.But these cheats have become totally quiet despite several legal warnings and notice under conusmer protection act.The intentions are very clear to not refund money for p[roduct not purcahsed and used by me.It seems these guys think that as they belong to times of india, they can get away with anything in the country.It is matter of shame that times of India group behaves with such irrsponsible manner.Not only their customer service is only one sided comunication by customer, it is simply fourth grade.It is a badly managed ’bania ’ company and cheap organisation and source of continuous harssment, stress and cheating. The mijor management of this company does not seem to have enough staff and they are third rate and poorly trained with bad behaviour. if you phone after spending tens of rupees, computre talks and finally no one talks.It is mockery.Avoid these guys completely and spread the message to save others from falling in trap of this third class company. It is shame on them.

      I locke my mail ID Pls how to pen
      I have two email accounts on indiatimes.com which I have been operating for a long time.These IDs (i)[protected]@indiatimes.com and (ii) [protected]@indiatimes.com are for professional and other important purposes.From last Friday.that is 6th March I am unable to operate these accounts.When ever I try to sign in to my email id, message is displayed, This account is under maintenence till 13th March.Today when it is 13th March, the same message with a different date is there(it is under maintenece till 16 th March)and I hope this date will further extend.Thy don't even provide any address for customer care or nor they have told any reason for blokng my accounts.These accounts are for serious professional purpose.I don't know what to do?

      I am facing same issue as I have account with Indiatimes and has been created in 2006 or 2007...after a year GAP I didn't check mail...last year Itried but it was telling me you have entered wrong password..check password...really its very annoyed to me .As I know very well about my password but system keep asking correct password..There is no customer service where we can reset and put our comments or complanint...

      I think it would be better to close this side rather than making fool.

      I am your regular news paper reader, It's not a complaint about 58888 service but i want to request in fever of something... today morning at 09.06am i received your 58888 message for free ringtones on my Vodafone no.[protected]. At that time i was in sleep, i just checked up your message and slept again but that time accidentally dial button pressed by me and the number is dialed (58888). I was unaware about the calling, when i woke up after 45 minutes the call was still going on.
      now i am requesting you that, please cut some amount of charges from my number because the call was at 7 Rs./min. by the calculation my charges goes beyond 300 Rs.or please give me indiatimes customer call no. or any officer's no. for assistance

        Date of Purchase made - Dec 2007 mid (somewhere around 19th)

        Problem(s):
        - I got two vacuum cleaners (metioned sub-orders) worth 155Rs and 795Rs
        - both of them were defective
        - I contacted Indiatimes shopping - they asked me to return them back
        - I sent both the items for replacement
        - after a month only, I got the pc vacuum cleaner replacement - BUT it was the same defective/broken piece what I had returned.
        - I complained again to the customer support and asked for cancellation of both the products. I was told refund within 5-10 working days.
        - 21st Feb I got Rs 155 (for sub order 1100881) refunded.
        - For other amount and refund details, I had been calling since Feb till date. All your executives promise to come back over my phone with the details of the issue, BUT NO ONE CARED TO CALL BACK.
        - I was put on hold for long time, many times. I was made to talk to all different people and I had to narrate the same story to all of them. DO YOU THINK I AM JOBLESS AND WOULD BE CALLING and talking to each of your customer care executives??
        - They are dumb (and other words i cant write). They repeat "We are very sorry for the inconvenience causes. We will get back to you over ur mobile number by XYZ timeframe." everytime I called up.
        - NO one called. I only had to call them to get the stock of the situation.

        - IS THIS THE SERVICE YOU TALK ABOUT AND YOU PROMISE THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE AND CUSTOMER CARE???

        - Now I know almost 5-7 of your executives - Nitin, Karuna, Alias, ...I have forgotten the names.
        - If you cant serve why dont u close the shop? Do you care to refund the money + satisfaction expected? Do you compensate for what you have done?

        SUB: MALCUNCTIONING OF MOBILE

        Sir,

        I had purchased “i2 Dual Talk Dual” mobile through your India Times Shopping vide order No.[protected] and Sub Order Number 1470283 dated 31.7.08 (which I got on 2nd week of August).

        After receiving the mobile I found that it was already used by someone, which was evident from a message and a video clipping already existing in the mobile and some scratches on mobile. This is a very serious matter as I gave order for a new one not for the used one. Both the head phones of mobile and MP3 players were defective. After complaining a lot of time I am not getting the positive response from them.

        This is not the end of my problems, from 10th of September my phone and MP3 also started malfunctioning. Three times I complaint on phone, your executives said soon they will take step and will inform me on phone. Last time on 18th September I complained to customer care but after listing my problem your executive cut the call without giving any response.

        Further I have to state that yet I haven’t received the 50% cash back as promised.

        In this regard I had written to Chief Editor or Times Of India on 19th September, 08 but till date I haven’t received any response from them.

        Kindly do the needful.

        I agree with all the other online shoppers with their comment on India times shopping comments. I felt that all of the complaints are valid. Even I had a worst experience while shopping online on India times. I had placed 2 orders on India times on 19 may and I was told that the products will be delivered within 7 working days and after that on 26 November I had received an e mail stating that my order was shipped and will be delivered to my place within 7 working days. I said o k. and then I called customer care on 2 December where in I was promised that I will get the products by 5th dec at any cost. Now you can easily find out that my orders did not get deliver on 5th so I called up on 7th dec and this time I was told that I will receive till today evening but I have got them. Again I called on 8th December this time the executive who picked up my phone was so rude and told me that I need to call on 9th dec and can complaint. When I wish to speak with any of the manager I was told that they are not available. Later I was put on on hold for 21 minutes and then I hung up and dialed customer care no. again this time I was again put on hold for 11 minutes and no one came back. I am now seriously looking forward to teach a lesson to these cheaters.

        India Times Shopping — VOX 8 in One faulty system delivered

        I had made advance payment towards placement of order under Reference No. [protected] on 20.07.2009. The order was confirmed after realization of advance payment against Order No.[protected]. The System is delivered through Courier o 01.08.2009. The system was not functioning properly as it was not operating by remote, the CD/DVD player was not working, no digital display was working, the sound was getting faded. A complaint was lodged under Ticket No. SHOP-336210 on 01.08.2009. The system has been lifted by India Times and the replacement with New proper System is awaited.
        I had puchase the dule sim iPhone thru india times news paper on 5th Sep '09 with the refrence no.- [protected]. I had recived it after 4 days. BUT now i have a problum in it touching System.

        Indiatimes Shopping — FAULTY MP3 PLAYER

        I ordered a MP3 Player from Indiatimes shopping order no.[protected] and received the same by 16th Sept'09 , the product had very cheap packing , it never resembled to what it was on Internet.
        To my utter dismay , i was not able to switch it On, i immediately looged on my compliant both thru internet , followed by phone , my first complaint no.was on 19th sept'09-No.- 348798 ,second one was -353023 on 2nd oct'09 , in between i kept calling up and always got a response that they will send in somebody withing 3 days , those 3 days never happenned , i spent on 2500 Rs on a piece of ,
        Its been 3 months and i am already following up with them , with no response and only complaint no.s
        I strongly urge people not to buy any product from this Website as it is a cheapster markteting gimmick , they are there just to fool people by giving advertising.

        I am also in the same problem as u guys after shopping online through indiatimes.I ordered a spypencamera, which was delivered defective.I was also asked to return the same.I returned it on the very same day but there is still no response from their side.Whenever u call, there won't be any response or u wud be informed that the product would be delivered within 8-10 working days.Its already 15days today...Very bad service.

          I placed this order on 01APR08 and received the same on 03APR08.

          Here are the issues I have faced with shopping here.

          Delivery
          instructions: pls deliver after 3pm
          WAS DELIVERED AT 1330. Luckily someone was there to collect the same.

          Packaging

          This was wrapped in a make do card board box. No Nokia box was received. It was as if some loose piece was wrapped in bubble wrap and sent off.

          I ordered the black and sliver one and got the silver and white one

          The neck band had ink marks on it.

          There were no manual or user instructions. I had to go online to figure out how to get it working.

          As per the product one should receive
          • Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-501
          • Nokia Compact Charger AC-3
          • User Guide

          user guide missing

          Such kind of product delivery is not expected to be supported or endorsed by Indiatimes.

          Please do question this vendor about his 3rd class service.

            Dear Sir,

            My name is Shashidhara K, from Bangalore.

            Here is the brief about my complaint:

            Bangalore Mirror, a news paper from Times of India Publication Bangalore edition has given advertisement on 23-Feb-2008 informing that Subscribe for Film Fare Magazine for 2 years and get free gift of Hitachi DVD with in 7 days from the date of your order or else youe money will be returned back. And I placed the order for the same and a sum of INR 2, 600 charged to my credit card account as I opted to make the payment through credit card and all these happened on 23-Feb-2008. My order no.[protected] which they sent through SMS on 27-Feb-2008 to my cell.

            Today it is already 20-mar-2008 and till now I have not received by gift nor money back.

            In this regard and spoke to cusomter care 4-5 times (complaint no. 551772) and they told me that I wiil be received the gift in couple of days. Finally I fed up takling to cusomer care wrote a complaint on customerservice on 17-Mar-2008 & they replied to my mail on 19-Mar-2008 as below : (Copied from my mail as it is):

            With reference to your mail related to order number[protected], we would like to inform you that as per the policy free gift along with the subscription will be delivered within 21 working days from the date of order placement i.e Feb 23, 2008, kindly request you to wait accordingly.

            It is being 23 working days (excluding Sundays from Feb 23, 2008) and again 20-mar-2008 I spoke to customer executive and answer was expected like they will forward my complaint no to techical department as my complaint was not opening to view also.

            Thanks for writing this Shashidhara. I was about to subscribe for Filma Fare magazine (15months subscription, a dvd player is a gift). Now I will think wherther to or not...
            It is very well said. Times group has nothing to do with cusotmers' grievances they are only sitting there to collect money & sitting on it. I have also subscribed for filmfare 12 issues last year which was having a free gift of 5 dvds on chasing for around 2 months I received first issue as well as 5 dvds & now since last 2 months they have stopped sending my issues whereas my subscription is upto May '08.
            bahot bahot shukriya sahab, ye batane ka ki ye log hamein kis tarah bewakoof banaa rahe hain, aur logon ko GUMRAAH kar rahe hain, Sach bataoon to main ye subscription lene hi wala tha. to aaj aise hi net pe aaya to socha k offer ko check karta hoon tab Qismat se aap ki complaint dikh gayee,
            Waise mera bhi ek DUKHAD anubhav hai ek magazine "Otto burlingtons" ka, unhon ne ek offer k tahet commission me ek free gift dene ka waada kiya tha, aur jab maine unke liye ek friend ko book me se ek product ka order company ko dilwaya jis par mera gift confirm tha, phir kai din baad company ne mujhe ye jawab diya "Your gift is no longer available" ab aap hi bataaiye, , , kya kiya jaaye

            I also had susbcribed under ID No.[protected]late February 2008) and have not received the promised Movie CD/DVDs till date.
            The suscription ID is 00186826 my Credit card has been charged 1600/- on 23rd April 08.
            Where is my DVD player?
            i was abaout to take this subcription for 15 months with the dvd player free,

            Thanks for your complaint because i was just going to make payment for this offer. You saved my 1600/- rupees.

            I don't know why indian companies do not take care of their customers. I request these companies if they do not have the capability to handle customers please do not bring these kind of offers.
            THE CALLOUS ATTITUDE OF BC &Co. IS MOST DEPLORABLE. THEY SHOULD BE TAKEN TO CONSUMER COURT BY THE CUSTOMERS. BIG COMPANIES SHOULD NOT GO STOCK FREE AND A LESSON MUST BE TAUGHT TO THEM.
            I have taken a five year subscription of filmfare magazine. my subscription has been changed to 2 1/2 years after the increase of rates of the magazine. I was assured to get 25 movies with the 5 years subscription. Till date i have only received 5 movies (the first gift pack). I have called several time to the number[protected]. But nothing has been done in this regard till date.

            I am not getting the subscription regularly. There is a problem with the official currier being appointed to deliver the magazine. The currier company has reservation to deliver the magazine at my address as there is only one magazine has to deliver, for which he is getting very less amount then he is spending. I have already conveyed this to the person attending to my call at[protected].

            Please help me in this regard.

            i have taken subscription of fimfare magize and i gvn address No.16E old krishnagiri road Hosur -635109 but this magzine it is going to some other address in MG Road but i am trying to contact them but nobady is reciving the call and my subcription id is 25851542
            I had subcribed for 5 years in 2006. Upto Dec 2008, I received most of the issues barring a few.
            My subscription no. is[protected] & customer ID is[protected]. All the envelopes contained the line showing the subscription up to 2011.

            Now I did not receive the issues in Jan & Feb 2009. Last week I received the March 2009 issue, which shows a totally different customer ID 21246170 and the subscription date as up to 30.09.2009.

            So what am I supposed to do. I tried phoning, but got shuntted around so much that I finally gave up.

            Yes, i had faced the same problem with not reciving issues on time...on filmfare magazine 1st page itself..there are e-mail Ids of all top notch people..just fire mail to everyone of them...i did the same thing and recd. call from their top boss..and started getting all issues on time there after.

            Times Magazine Subscription — Response too late to my subscription order without gift

            Dear Sir

            I had filled up the subscription form for Time Mazine alongwith your offer of free 4 suitcase bags.The payment was effected thru Visa Credit card .

            There was no response for almosi 3-4 months.To my surprise the subscription amount got debited thru credit card in July and no gift offer [Suitcases] are received as yet.

                I am a regular reader of Times of India newspaper. Daily there is a shopping advertisement from indiatimes shopping selling commodities at half the price as compared to the normal market price. The advertisement is pretty attractive and appealing for a normal customer to get lured into buying their product.

                On July 28th 2007 times of India Bangalore edition an advertisement came for a O2 PDA mobile phone at half the price from the normal market price. I happened to place the order for this cellphone. The actual price of this commodity is Rs 42000/- however I got this product for Rs 19990 and I had to pay an additional Rs 500 as delivery charges.

                I got the product delivered on 28th of august. 20th of September my device started mal functioning and I was directed by indiatimes to call up the service centre of O2. With great difficulty I got the helpdesk number after trying for for 2 days. I was informed someone would come and pick my device from home and take it for repair. I demanded for replacement as it was less than a month and my device started giving problem. After repeated followup with the O2 helpdesk number I was informed my set is a faulty set and would be replaced. However I got my device on 26th oct and it was the same device. When I tried calling back O2 helpdesk number no one picks at all and till date no one has picked.

                I called Indiatimes shopping people and asked them to help me. They happened to give me the same O2 helpdesk number which no one picks[protected]. When I informed them to replace my set since I ordered through them. Indiatimes shopping people informed me they can only help me by directing me to the O2 helpdesk number for assistance they can’t do anything better than it.

                I have spent Rs 20450 on this mobile set which has gone down the drain.

                I do not wish to do any further business with them. Indiatimes do not have good after sales service.

                I would request people please think twice before you go for any online shopping orders from indiatimes.They sell all faulty products and would never assist in resolving the issues.

                I had booked a Pentouch Mobile 3 G phone, and they had told me that the order will be received with in seven days but till now (12th day) (15 Jan 09) I did not get the phone This is my order No[protected]. After enquiring the matter with their office. The reply i got that you please the order back we will refund the money. How they are careless about their work. You will be getting your phone shortly. But no exact date they had given to us.
                I purchased Wespro Digital Camcorder DV6800 Invoice date 19.01.2009 DELIVERED on 20.01.2009 Through TNT.The camcorder turned out to be faulty.I have paid through Credit card.I lodged my complaint with India Times(Ref complaint no.913363) But now more then 8 days nobody bother to call and check my complaint.When you call Indiatimes call centre they say some Aman will call you back but that never happened.I even Called my Bank State Bank of India and they say they cant do anything.If my Bank cant do anything then the Bank name shouldnt appear in the payment mode.This clear case of cheating people by giving faulty goods.As they know that there is no way you can catch hold of Culprits.But I wont keep quite I will see that I get my goods replaced or even I will go ahead with Consumer court if required.So, Indiatimes beaware of this gimmick of selling goods online and fooling people.If any body is listening please take immediate action.

                i had ordered a jewel combo order no.[protected] from indiatimes shopping site.n after receiving lodged a complain to replace complain no.1187334.i want the refund of my money n cancellation of the product as soon as possible.as the items i got are not the one i saw on the shopping site.it is of a very inferior n low quality and also all damaged and few sets are not full.i have been cheated so pls cancel my order n get me the refund.any i'll return he product as per the return proceedure.
                my order number is[protected]. parcel recevied on 3.8.2009 but gcnot received till 22.8.2009.

                I have had a similar bad experience with indiatimes shopping. I wanted to order a few sarees that they advertise on their products page for the first time ever. Thankfully before ordering the more expensive ones I decided to order a saree for Rs 1600 which by no means is exactly inexpensive.! They sent me something totally different! Different color combination, different design, an ugly saree! When I contacted them about it, they first told me, they will replace it and got it collected from my home via their courier service Aramex. After many phone calls and some waiting, the package arrived the second time to my address. But I was horrified to see that they sent the same saree back to me in an awful state, all crumpled up and totally different from the product that I had chosen from their products page! I got in touch with them again and asked them for a refund, and this time after umpteen number of phone calls and mails I am still waiting for their courier to pick up the package from my home. They give me some excuse everyday and have not yet collected the saree from me in spite of repeated reminders, pleas, mails and phone calls. It has been a total waste of my money, time and effort. And on top of that, from the time I put my mobile number which has been on National DND service for many years now on their site while placing the order, I have suddenly started receiving unsolicited calls and sms from some advertisers, which makes me wonder how exactly did my number get out suddenly after all these years! Really bad service and no reliability at all!

                  I was Registered Domain name from internet and paid with online transjection but then to till date they didn't actived my domain name. i was compainies about that, they just reply me they didn't get money for that, i checked in my account and indiatimes account, it was sucessfull tranfer money. also i replied back with bank statement and all details, but still there is no any kind of reply. just they forued my money and time

                    I had booked a airline ticket through travel.indiatimes.com on 19.10.07 order no[protected]. They were offered a gift voucher worth Rs. 1500 against purchase of above said ticket.

                    But inspite of my several reminders till today they have not issued a voucher.

                      I have purchased a Logitech Rumblepad2 (Order no.[protected] from Indiatimes shopping with the payment option 3 EMI of ICICI Bank Credit Card (FT No.:[protected].
                      The total amount (INR) is 2505.00/- and as per the payment mode, I have to pay 3 EMI (0% interest) of 835/- INR. But Indiatimes deducted full amount through my ICICI Credit Card i.e. 2505/- INR with transaction details INDIATIMES.COM (3 EMI) Ref. No. 74477487284003319333299 on date 10/10/2007.

                      I have complaint the same to Indiatimes customer care and talked to representative named Shailesh who gave me an interaction no. 396508 and assured problem will be resolved in another 24hrs. but I kept on chasing them for next 48hrs. but noone replied.
                      Kindly help.

                      I had purchaced Nokia E51 mobile phone from Indiatimes shopping using paymate option Order ID =[protected]. As soon as I sent an SMS about payment, the Payment directly deducted from my bank Account.
                      After six days of payment, I came to know that the order is cancelled due to delivery was not possible within mentioned period. After that the money has to be refunded back to myself.
                      I have so many times contacted, the customer care about my refund not received problem. But I hav not got satisfactory answer. Some executive said taht I'll receive my refund by Cheque. I have waited for more than a week, but still not received any cheque. After end of second week, the excutive now telling me that the money will directly credited to my bank account. But still I have not received my refund.

                      Still I have not received fefund of Rs. 11190/-

                      I am eagerly waiting for my money..

                      I have the following complaints about this product ( Order no[protected] :TECHCOM Wireless Headphone + FM - SSD-HPW-210)
                      which I had ordered on Oct 20, 2008 as follows:


                      I received the item only on 7/11/2008 after 19 days, whereas it is to be delivered within 7 days, that too after follow up and complaints with both your company and Blaze couriers, who does not have a telephone number that works. (Just key in Blaze couriers on a google search and see the numbers that come up, none of them are correct. Even the numbers given by “Just Dial” were incorrect. )

                      The product does not look new. It looks used with scratch marks on both head phone sides and also on the top.
                      Though in packed condition, the product inside was covered with dust, and could not be used without a thorough cleaning.
                      The product is not to my satisfaction and expectations.

                      I wrote to Customer Service at India Times Shopping the following day after receipt of item, and requested them for a refund. Though at the bottom of their web page it says '15 DAYS RETURN GUARANTEE' they are dilly dallying and just not bothered. It is just cheating the customer by false promises. The customer care executive cannot take any decision, cannot give any responsible reply and also won't connect me to a senior person in India Times Shopping. I told them to replace the item, if they cannot give me refund. Even for this they are keeping quiet and not responding. Over all a bad purchase experience. I shall never again purchase from this shopping web site!
                      I ordered 2 items order no (order no[protected] through india times shopping.com on 2 nd Feb 09. 1 item i recieved and second item has not yet recieved. They cancelled the order, given me voucher, through which I ordered one more item with a less price (equivalent was not available).I havent rcvd the item till 04 Mar 09.The customer support personnels are useless and doesnt have any clue.
                      I strongly reccomend to ban this website and buyers, please dont order ..for heaven sake thru this website.
